In 1960, an absolute masterpiece of the Milan Carrozzeria Zagato was created in an English-Italian collaboration: the Aston Martin DB 4 GT Zagato. 50 years later, the decision was made to launch a new creation for the anniversary: the Aston Martin V12 Vantage Zagato, which went into small series production almost exactly 12 years ago. A total of 101 units were produced at a sporty price of around 500,000 euros. But 510 bhp in an Italian dress were good arguments. One of these cars surprisingly crossed our path in Hamburg. The roof, hood and doors were handcrafted from aluminum, while the front and rear fenders, trunk lid and side sills are made of carbon fiber-reinforced plastic. Less weight is more. And if you look closely, you will even recognize the typical Zagato "double bubble" roof. Sprezzatura at its best!

Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm
The Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm is a car that is more about the past than it is about the future. It's a gas-burning, fender-flared winged beast of a sports sedan whose origins can be traced back to the 1960s.
Back then, Alfa's racing engineers slimmed down the weight of the Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT, upgraded its engine considerably, and anointed their creation the Giulia GTA. One of the most successful touring cars of its time, the GTA had everyday life and checkered-flag greatness baked in.
Alfa Romeo engineers recently applied the spirit of that GTA, which stands for Gran Turismo Alleggerita, the final word meaning “lightened” in Italian, to the Giulia Quadrifoglio. The GTA cut a claimed 220 pounds while adding various aerodynamic aids. To drop the pounds, the doors are aluminum and the drive shaft, hood, roof, front bumpers, and wheel-arch extensions at the front and rear are carbon fiber. New engine electronics, higher boost pressure, and an Akrapovic titanium exhaust system tickled out 533 horsepower from the twin-turbo 2.9-liter V-6, 28 horses more than the standard Quadrifoglio. Only 500 of the Giulia GTA will be made, and included in that short run is the even more extreme GTAm, a race-ready and street-legal version that ditches its rear seat to shed another 55 pounds compared to the GTA.
In place of the GTAm's back seat is a roll cage, helmet rack, and fire extinguisher. The rear windows are made of lightweight polycarbonate. The carbon-fiber racing bucket seats only move fore and aft, but there's plenty of Alcantara trim and carbon-fiber bits to take in. Fabric loops replace the interior door handles, a very Porsche touch.

The Best BMW G87 M2 Aero Kit Has Arrived
The BMW G87 M2 may be the most controversial performance car to hit the market, at least in my lifetime. Not from a performance standpoint either, but controversy surrounding the unique and somewhat blind-sided body language from the M Performance team. BMW has taken us through the wringer with many big changes to their design language in recent updates. The G87 seems to ruffle the most feathers with its square and bulky bodylines that don’t follow much from its older sibling, the F87.
Well, whether you’ve loved the most recent M2 from its 2022 release or have grown to appreciate BMW’s take on the chassis, Vorstiener has entered the conversation with a reimagined carbon fiber aero program that has us wanting to acquire a Toronto Red M2, stat! This is the VRS Carbon Fiber Aero Program. Vorsteiner has always been a staple for creating some of the most stunning aftermarket upgrades primarily focused in the German manufacturing category. Vorsteiner develops outstanding kits for BMW M line with a massive and recent success with reimaging the M3/M4 G8X generation. So much that it’s difficult to see a properly finished G8X that isn’t fitted with a piece from the Vorstiner M3 / M4 Aero Program. While we love the finish of the G8X program, there is something evolving about the new M2 release. If you aren’t aware, the Vorsteiner brand is also the same as Gunther Works; the brilliance behind reimagining the Porsche 911 into what Gunther Werks is. From what I see, this program carries a lot of inspiration from those design concepts for the refinished Porsche 911s.

Tying this whole kit together is a gorgeous 1-piece front lip spoiler that is breathtaking! If you are running a snug fitment on your G87, on man, this is going to make your car’s stance LOW! It appears to extend the front lip about 2-3 inches closer to the ground, tightening up the clearance for an incredible stance. Appearance aside, I really like what Vorsteiner has done with this front spoiler design. There are tons of thoughtful lines that I would imagine are contributing to some serious additional downforce on this front end. This front spoiler is a must-have.

This mid-split five-spoke design is absolutely stunning on the G8X and G87 chassis’. With an aggressive, bespoke fitment, these wheels provide a flush finish that is perfect. While the spoke design isn’t something that we haven’t seen before, the slotted, aero-disc style is an excellent touch. Vorsteiner designed this with functionality in mind. The machined slots provide cool air to be propelled into the brakes to assist with managing high temps from the brakes. From an aesthetic perspective, we are getting some futurist motorsports vibes. the glossy black finish gives the tires the appearance of some big ol’ sidewall. Personally, I love it.

Jaguar XE SV Project 8
This 2019 Jaguar XE SV Project 8 is one of 300 produced globally, just 35 of which are claimed to have been imported to the United States.
The Project 8 shares only the front doors and roof from the standard XE, with much of the revised bodywork produced in carbon fiber rather than aluminum. The carbon-fiber front fenders and aluminum rear quarters are wider than the standard XE, and other changes include a carbon-fiber front bumper, rear diffuser, hood with heat extractor, and front splitter and rear wing which are manually adjustable using included tools.
Factory 20″ wheels are finished in black and mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 measuring 265/35 up front and 305/30 out back. Braking is handled by multi-piston front and single piston rear calipers with carbon-ceramic discs at each corner, and the car is equipped with height-adjustable coilover suspension with multi-mode adaptive dampers.
The supercharged 5.0L V8 was factory rated at 592 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to all four wheels through an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission and an electronic active differential with torque vectoring.
