as someone whose love language often is saying "don't forget to take care of yourself, you don't just need it, you deserve it"
i lost it at "you were used!"
that whole scene, rue fighting for hob when we've never seen the goblin court do anything but use him to further their own agendas
it was likely the first time (maybe second, we still don't know who wrackingspelt is) anyone had ever told him that he's worth taking care of/protecting/looking out for.
and it's coming from rue, who has also always put everyone else before themselves.
i mentioned a long time ago that them choosing each other is them choosing themselves, and seeing them realize that and start making those choices is Overwhelming
