Oh, Canada! My home and native land. Well, that's how it was for several years, up until I was forced into exile, exactly 18 years ago. I spent the better part of 30 years living in downtown Toronto, and even though I now call the United Kingdom home, I still feel a kinship toward my adopted country.  Heck, my family and friends are all back there, so I will always feel that pull. I am very lucky to have grown up in Canada. The experiences have made me the person that I am today, and I will always have true patriot love for the country. I am still proud to call myself a Canadian. From one Canadian to another, please take this time to recognize that no matter what you're feelings are about the country, just know that compared to a lot of other countries around the world; you are living in a Great country that offers you superior rights and freedoms,  155 years ago, on the 1st of July, 1867, Canada became a new federation with its constitution, by signing the Constitution Act - formerly known as the British North America Act. Happy Canada Day!! Each country has their own vibration, which manifests as a particular culture. May it be music, food, dance, clothing, language, etc. Canada has become a land of immigrants, so it’s a combination of many diverse foreign cultures, with less of its own (cause of a sad history of native genocide). But one cultural contribution this country has given to the world is Comedy!
