First pictures of the newborn gorilla at the Calgary Zoo. Mom and baby are doing well so far, and the exhibit is closed to give the family some time to adjust to the new baby 馃馃挄
The other week I went to the Calgary Zoo to check and see how the animals were. I hadn't been since I was a kid.
The rescued Polar Bears were having the best time in the snow and came down to check out what was going on. Coming face to face with one was absolutely amazing.
I think I may visit again sometime. I do hope they expand the habitats further however. The newly built ones seem really good but some of the older enclosures seem like they need expanding. It seems like they are making a lot of improvements though and are striving to do as much for the animals as possible.
