Cafe Breton always, always made me nostalgic. During college up until our early working years, Andre and I would visit the branch nearest our church (Podium Mall) on separate occasions and with different groups of people since we were not formally introduced yet (even if we've bumped into each other one to many times).

Fast-forward to present times - upon visiting Ayala 30th, I had a sudden hankering for crepes and sadly enough this was the only restaurant that was decently within our budget. :) Most of the restaurants were already closed, although I am not surprised why. Times have been difficult.

I went to a french cafe with my friends the other day to celebrate my friend’s birthday, and oh my GOD do i love this place!! the food?? immaculate. the cheese poured over top and the egg completes this melt-in-the-mouth toastie perfectly. my vanilla latte had a little too much vanilla but that was fine for me because I like sweet things.

definitely check out cafe breton if you’re in wellington, or make a plan to go here! the food and coffee is well worth the trip. it’s good to mention that the staff here are super nice and they speak french which is good for those who are wanting to put their language learning in to practise!

Took my ma to #CafeBreton for our holiday special meal. They're known for delicious crepes. I had the crepe Poseidon which had salmon, fresh cream and capers and she had the Galette Bretonne which had shrimp, crab meat, spinach, gruyere and fresh cream. Mine was delicious but the portion is more of a snack for me. My mom shared some of hers. I'll be ordering that for myself next time. More filling and so flavorful. Light, savoury and wonderful. Had no room for dessert since ma wasn't going to be able to share one. I can no longer take on a whole dessert for myself like before.
