Wait! Who am I kidding, I’m totally addicted to Honey Mama’s Cacao-Nectar Bars. What are they? Who knows exactly, but just imagine a really really really really good dairy free fudge and that’s pretty close to Honey Mama’s.  This Portland based company gets serious about their ingredients - which I love! They use only local honey as a sweetener and non-gmo and organic ingredients. This is really a great option for people who are vegan, want to stay away from traditional sugars, yet still crave something sweet. 

Check them out! Buy some if you can find it. Just an FYI, the bars melt quickly in temperatures above 76 degrees and need to be refrigerated. So, I don’t advise these treats for road trips or lunch snacks, unless you like fudge soup. Also, I’ve tried just about every flavor except the Peppermint and Red Rose. I loved all of them, but not the Mayan Spice, which was overly spicy for me. But if sweet and spicy is your thing then you’ll love it.
