“Tickets to the Nutcracker are how much?” Ronald asked distressed, kicking the side of the brick building with a sigh. “No, no, I don’t want them.  I mean, I do want them I just can’t afford them yet. Yes, I understand they will sell out soon.” He sighed, brushing his hair back off his face.  “Thank you.” He hung up, sliding the phone into his pocket before turning back to towards the building.  Taking a few deep breaths, he waited for the dance class to finish before spotting Wendy.  “Hey.”

After a few minutes roaming about in the house with no defined strategy, Antonia had already got rid of the hood from her rat costume, as though that would diminish her humiliation. The single thing that she could think of was - why did I choose to put myself through this bullshit? These social charades were as dull as she’d ever found them, and she was now skeptical that, joining the JWL, she really would be associating herself with the finest people, as she’d always been told. The finest people wouldn’t waste their time with these childish, stupid events.

It stinged her that she was the only one, at least among those she’d seen, who’d received a pathetic costume. Upon entering an unexplored room, she let out a heavy breath. In there, she found not her big, she guessed, but yet another girl in a beautiful dress, although she couldn’t quite figure out what her costume was. “Hi,” she smirked unenthusiastically. Not only the dress, but everything about the girl looked beautiful, which made her feel worse. “I’m assuming you’re not my big.” 

Cash had been wandering the lobby for a good few minutes now, looking for the key that had fallen off of his key ring. It seemed that Cash’s belongings seemed to like to disappear as much as he did. Finally, he located it, having slid underneath a couch. Unfortunately, even his slender arm wasn’t skinny enough to reach it. Flagging down the brunette he saw walking by, Cash grinned “Hey, strange request, but my key is under this couch and I can’t reach it? If I lift the couch up a little can you grab it for me?”

    Peter looked at Wendy from the safety of her window, his signature smile glowing in the moonlight the seemed to illuminate him from all sides. One leg then another, Peter pushed himself off the window and into her room where he drew closer and closer to her. 

     "You tell me, Wendy.” He said cooley as he began to walk around his little bird. “Do you think I'm here because I am bored? Or, do you think that I am here because I want to see my favorite Little Bird?"

Wendy watched the other fall to the ground, and she couldn’t help but feel the same, glad that they had finally stopped and landed somewhere they could settle down that wasn’t a ship’s quarters. “I agree,” Wendy said, smiling as she laughed to herself. “Though I guess not as passionately.”

Lola looked at the other princess and nodded a couple of times. “Being in a ship has never… Well, it has never flattered me,” she stated with a few shakes of her head. Sometimes the nausea was so bad that it made her wonder whether she might have been better off if she swam behind or something just as ridiculous.

Throughout the chaos that had settled ever since they got shoved into the cinema, Luce sighted a familiar head of hair she had not seen in a while. For a little while, she wondered whether her eyes were messing with her, and it took her a while to finally be able to walk in that general direction to make sure who she was seeing. “I thought it was you!” She exclaimed. “It’s been such long time, Wendy!” She stated, letting her body fall in one of the nearby seats.

“It’s midnight, what do you want?” Wendy asked, her voice flat, and feeling quite annoyed.

Wendy settled herself down slightly, trying her hardest not to let it show that her hand, pressed against her chest, could feel the pounding of her heart through her skin. She took a deep breath and nodded her head, licking her lips as she stood upright and made herself look less, well, frightened. “I’ll take that into consideration,” she nodded, sighing as she brought her braided hair over her shoulder. “Though it doesn’t really make me feel better.”

“It might be good food for thought,” the brunette pointed out, and, in an attempt at a soothing gesture, patted the woman’s shoulder a couple of times, something that was probably more awkward than anything else. Soon, she withdrew her hand and merely kept it to herself. Sophie was often someone who got carried away by matters that were either too scientific or philosophical for most people’s liking. It had never troubled her. “I suppose it might be a bittersweet realization. Though it can also be something you’re fairly accustomed to, considering your background.”

He'd preset everything they needed, and was currently sat on his bed, holding his phone ready to play his part and secretly film Danny's reaction while holding the phone in a way that looked as though he was just sitting there playing on it. Now all he had to do was wait for Wendy to show up so he could start recording.
