here we go AGAIN- I got a NEW BNHA AU for yall
I’ve made up like, four to five really Big Ass Aus for BNHA which range from fantasy abo to quirkless society outcast tropes fest.
Right now, the trope fest is loving my muse. We got:
-Punk Bakugou
-Nerd Midoriya (with an attention for the arts. *I.E. Theater and Writing)
-Jock Kirishima (Soccer)
-Popular Kid Todoroki (Who is going to bring his abusive father and his poor trauma coping mechanisms to their KNEEs)
Also ft’ing:
The entire LOV squad are actually all anarchists/really over the top, rebellious, possibly mutinous, protesters and freedom fighters for their own causes. AKA a bunch of anti-heros
-Touya becomes Dabi, he ran from home at a very young age. He “works” on blackmailing corrupt businessmen and exposing really awful characters in the city. (Abusive husbands, “Unholy Men”, and anyone he can prove is using their “Rank” to hurt others.)
-Shigaraki is the figurehead for Problem Children”” AKA, anyone who got royally fucked by the system that doesn’t/refuses to care for kids who aren’t The Ideal. (( He came from a semi affluent family, but when they died(without him murderingthem this time lol) because of his mental illness, they battered and beat him down until he ran for his life and started looking out for kids like him. He highly resents the social/foster care system. who tried to flaunt his family’s tragic story while continuing to abuse him)
Everyone else will have a more developed plot point promises.
--Mainly the point here is that our Punk boy runs in similar circles to the LOV with underground shit and what not. Which becomes important because Todoroki is Going To Need It.
**** Major plot idea here is found family and friendships over blood relatives.
-The Bakugou’s aren’t physically abusive, but they are negligent, emotional supportive, and verbally abusive. This is what turns Katsuki towards Punk and grunge and etc, he finds a nice niche that  “Gets It” but then also appeals to His Need For Aesthetics.
-Midoriya’s dad is super absent. He isn’t married to Inko in this, they parted relatively soon in Izuku’s life. (Despite this absence: He is actually a decent sorta dad. just a bad family guy. he tries hard not to miss birthdays, any sort of “First Time” events or shows, and when he does miss things he sends extravagant care packages to apologize and always shows in person for the very next event with more apologies. its not ideal, but its alright)
_The Todoroki family in this will be Worse Than The Canon*** And I highlight this to avoid making anyone upset by blindsidedness etc. I intend on ripping Enji to pieces, but in the story im thinking, he def hurts the ones around him a lot.
-This just means that Shouto and Fuyumi will get hurt at some point, and that Shouto will very much need his new group of friends to Be Alright. (and might run away at some point. thinking abt it)
-Despite me enjoying the new chapters where endeavor is actively trying to fix shit and repair the tattered remains of his family, I do not give him this opportunity here.
-Which means Natsuo ran for the fucking hills and never intends on coming back until he can take everything from that man ESPECIALLY Shouto and Fuyumi.
--- Rei is alive, but the kids Don’t Know That??
Like, she still hurts Shouto. He still gets a scar though more realistic (not just  a splotch, plus some eye damage). But she most definitely had a full mental break and tbh its sad as fuck. But right after that she “vanishes” and enji claims she ran like a coward yadda yadda (truth is he hauled her off to an out of country mental facility never to be heard from etc)
This is p much all I’m thinking. Yall wanna use it, go for it. Just let me know so I can read or watch how it goes bc I doubt I’ll be able to do more than freak the fuck out and Make More IDEAS....
(Oh and in MY version I can’t let go of the otp so its poly shipping if yall curious. I LIVE for kbdk and ill die loving these three. todoroki MIGHT get some romance, but moreso he gets HEALTHY FUCKING RELATIONSHIPS!!!!... and a little romance because Inasa is a Big Dumb Sweet Loud Boy who stole my whole ass heart...)

SALTY ASKS uhhh, 4 8 15 16 & 23?
Thank you, Randy!
4. Do you have a NoTP in your fandom? Are they a popular OTP?
- Keep any and all romantic BB/Rae away from me. I don’t care what version, what AU, what rationale, I just don’t like their dynamic. I see absolutely NO romantic potential there. (I have seen.... two stories, in the entire history of Me Reading Fanfiction, wherein they were in-character, developed, and actually okay together. And one of those was my very favorite Raven RPer.) But the vast majority of the fanbase? Yuck. One or both are always out-of-character. Things are taken out of context. The foundation for their relationship seems to be whipped up from nothing. Canonically, they... literally mocked each other in the cartoon, barely even spoke to each other in the original comics, only had a relationship in recent comics when the writers had them Very Out of Character (or randomly got smacked back together, esp. in the end of TT v3? why even bother???)... It’s just, a really bad ship all around. I will unfollow people for not tagging it, it’s that bad. Bro-ship between them is on thin fucking ice.
- And then there’s... t/endershipping. (In Yugioh-- Ryou and Yami Bakura.) Oh gods. This one’s worse. Because it is legitimately an abusive dynamic. I mean, bullying, forcing someone to go against his wishes, threatening his friends, twisting selfish actions to say they were selfless, literally injuring him to use his injury as blackmail, not to mention inuring him in the throes of will-battle, and then there’s the literal spiritual possession thing. You know, “forces your will/consciousness to fuck off so I can do whatever I want in disguise as you” kind of dynamic? What the Fuck? There’s no trust, no respect, literally NOTHING to build ANY kind of POSITIVE relationship on, and all the TRAUMA that spirit put Ryou through is absolutely NOT the kind of thing that should make ANYONE fall in love?! I genuinely WORRY for the people who see what the spirit of the ring did to him, and think “they’d be cute together”. Gods. Gods!
(I’m also hugely squicked out by memory/shipping, Ryou+Aigami, because? What? The fuck? Did you not SEE what he DID to him?! FUCKING NO?? But luckily the t|endershippers tend to be the memory/shippers too, so they’re fairly easily blocked.)
- I also have jas|pis blacklisted because Canonical Abusive Relationships are Not Dynamics I Enjoy At All, thank you. Especially not when their conversations sound like something right out of the things I witnessed in my mother’s own life. (I have no idea how popular it is because I’ve been blacklisting and blocking it since the moment I found out it exists.)
- Also: It’s not at all popular and not something I see often, but: I’m just squicked in general by terra\ven, because while I can see how a thing might be developed, I’m not the kind of person who can look at their Canon History and Interactions and think, “How romantic!” Bad communication, festering hatred, picking at each others’ weaknesses, mutual toxicity, and attempted murder don’t make a good backdrop for a relationship. Yikes.
8. Have you received anon hate? What about?
Kind...of? I’ve gotten asks hating on blog appearances, fandom opinions, and General Negativity, but nothing hating on me as a person.
The headcanon blog I help moderate got an ask once that could’ve started a shipping war (basically like, “How can people possibly ship RobRae?”), but I like to think I handled it well because I redirected that before it could explode.
Honestly, most of my anon hate came from fanfic.net reviews back in the “mary-sue” witch-hunt days. (The funny thing was, at the time I didn’t even know what that accusation meant. 8P )
15.  Unpopular opinion about the manga/show?
I liked the Yugioh manga better in black/white than in color! (The! big! mystery! about! Ryou’s! eyes!! continues!! to stump!!! and frustrate me!!!!! For context: this one character has had his eyes colored brown, green, blue, lavender, gray, black, dark purple, magenta, red, and seafoam green! [x] What the HELL color are his EYES.)
And for the record, in the advance copy of the “Games” graphic novel my dad gave me, there were Certain Pages still in either ink-work or black/white coloring that I really liked more than the final product. That book is colored GORGEOUSLY, don’t get me wrong! But the pure linework shows a lot more of the “line of motion” and TEXTURE details that my non-visual brain can Grasp And Parse and Feel Things About much moreso than a colored page.
Also: Raven is a big softie deep down inside. Comic, cartoon, you name it. I don’t know why this is so controversial because it’s Genuinely Canon as Hell, but even some canonical writers miss out on this, and it’s like? guys have you READ a Raven comic???
16. If you could change anything in the show, what would you change?
RYOU BAKURA WOULD BE MORE THAN A GODDAMN PLOT DEVICE. As mentioned in the Other Answered Ask, this drives me to absolute annoyance and disappointment and disdain. (This is specifically directed at the “show”, of course. The manga [and even season 0!] did a much better job of, you know... remembering that he is also a human being and not just a shell that has a conveniently-possessed antagonist necklace.)
It’s just the treatment of certain characters for me, I guess. I’m really bad at looking at a canon and going “This Event Would Be Different” otherwise. Especially when I’m emotionally attached to the Canon Events...
Except “Titans”. That fucking stunt they pulled with Arella, one of the most strong-willed, independent, perseverant, traumatized female characters to ever rise fully above her past and find her own way in the worlds-- in MULTIPLE worlds!-- and they made her the lackey of the monster she has always defied. It STILL pisses me off. (There are other things I’d change about Titans-- many others. But that AU is so far off the mark that it would take a collegiate-length essay to “change” it just right.)
23.  Unpopular character you love?
Jericho! Arella! Malachite! Rorek!
Joey is such a sweetheart and has such a unique and versatile power. Arella is such an inspiration and proves time and time again that she’s stronger than her trauma. Malachite just had so much POTENTIAL as her own character and I wish we had seen more of her as an individual. And Rorek of course? God those eyes and that hair trigger the demigray. (And I headcanon hardcore that Malchior used Rorek as a template for how he looked, sounded, and acted, and of course Rorek wrote the book, and I fell as hard for Malchior as Raven did. So like.... kind of a scapegoat to redirect that love, but it makes me happy, okay.)
And Mismagius, which I don’t understand because surely I’m NOT the only strategically-minded lover of the Ghost type? And I’m certainly not the only witch who practices pop culture magic with Pokemon (and Mismagius is literally based on a witch and called “the magical pokemon”)? But hey, loving the underdog has been my lifelong specialty. 8F

THE PURPOSE (SANS AUs X READER) - ACT 1; CHAPTER 4 (Part 1)
Whatever world you had fallen into, it was a bit...dark. Okay, really dark. Everything was black, yet your eyes seemed to be open and on you were on solid ground. Even weirder, you could see your reflection in the shiny black floor. How was that possible? Then, you realized that there was a faint white light leaking in from above you. You shifted your gaze up, and saw....was that lettering? You scattered to your feet, the reflective floor squeaking under your shoes, and got to a place where you could read the words. It read 'UNDERTALE.' Something struck you. This...seemed familiar. Very familiar. Something was horribly wrong, and an indistinguishable, cold anamnesis washed over you.
"(Y/N)!" You heard squeaky footstep running towards you. You turned to see Dream heading towards you. When he made it, he bent over is knees, breathing hard. "I found you...somehow, we spawned in separate areas."
The nagging lost memory suddenly disappeared from your mind. You stared at Dream in confusion. Wait...how did running wear him out? How did he breathe? These were ridiculous things to be wondering considering your current situation, but it vexed you. "Um...aren't you a skeleton?"
Dream looked up at you and raised a brow. "Yes?"
"How are you out of breath?"
Dream's face went blank. You thought you had offended him, but suddenly his face lit up. He laughed, loud and hard, not what you would have expected from someone with such a soft voice. "Out of all the questions you could ask me right now, that's the first one you choose?"
You relaxed. Then, on the spur of the moment, you also began to laugh. It had been so long since you really laughed. It was half out of shock of the previous events, half out of the absurdity of you ponder. You keeled over in laughter, which also caused Dream to laugh more too. After a while, he wiped a tear from his eye. "You are a strange one, Miss (Y/N)," he stated, but not with insult. His tone was warm, and it made you feel fuzzy inside.
"We should go find Geno," said Dream, "But I would recommend you just call him Sans." You nodded. He walked towards the direction of the lettering. With all the blackness, was there really anywhere to go? Deciding you trusted him after your past interactions, you followed him regardless.
"Where are we, exactly...?" you wondered aloud.
"It's called the loading screen," Dream replied, "It's a bit difficult to explain, when you don't really know much about the different timelines and such..." The moment he said 'loading screen', the same feeling--which you now recalled again, for it had faded completely prior--of cold anamnesis, like you knew this place in a past life, or maybe far back in your memories...it made your head hurt. You thought yourself ridiculous. That was impossible. Yet again the feeling began to slip away again, leaving you with only a bizarre remnant of such sensation.
The two of you passed underneath the word that hung overhead. Gazing up at it made your head spin, so you decided to distract yourself. "So, this Geno guy...he's also a Sans?" you asked Dream.
He nodded. "He's a special case, though." Something sad hung in Dream's tone. "He was dealt quite the...unlucky hand in his AU. It's...rough to talk about for him."
You furrowed your eyebrows. "What do you mean?"
"Well..." Dream began, "In his world, there was a human named Frisk."
The name struck a match in your brain. Frisk. The human who brought the monsters--including the Sans you knew--to the surface in your world. You had always thought of Frisk as a kind, sweet, and brave child. What could have happened to them in Geno's AU? Were they hurt? Or did something bad happen regarding them?
"You see...Frisk, in Geno's timeline, was not a good person," went on Dream, "They did very, very bad things. They killed everyone Geno Sans loved in his timeline. To stop Frisk from doing any more damage, on his deathbed, Geno injected himself with DETERMINATION. He learned to manipulate the....ah, well, to cause less confusion, we'll just say the timeline in general." Something about Dream's tone at this part struck your curiosity greatly, but you remained silent. Dream continued, "He can retain the memories of the 'original' Sans from a revised version of his timeline and, in a way, manipulate him. But, for it, he is trapped here, in the loading screen. Frisk was once trapped here as well, but they often remain in the anti-voids, which both of them can travel to."
So many questions flurried around your mind. Loading screen? Wasn't that something for games? Anti-voids? Frisk being evil? And all this talk of timelines and Alternate Universes...it made your head swim. A sort of nausea built up in your stomach, but you held it down for the sake of keeping Dream from worrying. In a little bit, you and Dream found yourself approaching a slumped white figure. It seemed to be sitting cross-legged on the floor, completely still. A familiar red scarf was wrapped around it's neck.
"Sans," Dream spoke. The figure turned slowly, and your heart dropped. He certainly looked like Sans, except his clothes were all white, excluding the torn-up scarf. You had seen that scarf before. Could it be? Papyrus, a voice nagged at the back of your head. Dream said something about Frisk being bad in Geno Sans' timeline. Frisk did terrible things, enough for this Sans to have to change the timeline. Could Frisk have...? Papyrus...the torn-up scarf he never took off, that he took such great care of...
Then, you saw the huge gash across Geno's chest. It was red and bloody, like the blood never dried. You were less concerned that a skeleton was bleeding than the fact that your fear was confirmed. That world's Frisk was a murderer. Something just seemed to tell you that, deep in your heart. And this Sans was half dead. Not only that, but half of his face was nothing but floating white pixels, like he was a coding bug of some sort. You shivered.
That wave of nausea returned, and you went pale. Geno blinked. "Dream...?"
Dream nodded. "I'm sorry to inconvenience you, but it's an emergency." He motioned to you. "This is (Y/N). Error attacked us while we were in Ink's doodle sphere, and (Y/N) needs to stay somewhere safe."
Something flashed in Geno's eyes, and you gulped. "A human?" His tone was bitter. You didn't blame him, really. He had clearly had an awful experience with humans. You just hoped that didn't count against you too much.
"She's different," Dream insisted desperately, "Please. Error has grown so much more powerful. I have to help Ink. (Y/N) is--"
"I'm not like Frisk," you cut in. Something inside you wanted to show Geno Sans that it was okay. You weren't like that Frisk. In fact, you loved monsters. Geno made you...sad. As unsettling as he was, a deep melancholy drowned your heart when you had heard his story and seen him. "In fact," you went on, "Monsters have done more for me in my timeline that humans have. I love monsters. It's okay, really, if you hate humans, but...trust me. Just do this for Dream."
Geno's gaze shifted from you to Dream, then back. "I thought I could trust Frisk too," he said, "But you seem different. She's okay with me, Dream. Besides, without Ink, none of us would exist anymore." This comment perturbed you, but you remained silent for fear of upsetting and/or annoying Geno.
"(Y/N)," Dream placed his hands on your shoulders. You flinched, both not quite liking or used to being touched so tenderly, but did not shrug him off. "I need you to stay here. I'm going to go help Ink. I don't know how long it will take, but you will be safe here."
You frowned. At this moment it really occurred to you that Dream was not sticking around. Not only that, but it also sunk in that you were not being allowed to help. Sure, you weren't much of a fighter, and you knew nothing of this situation, but something about that Error guy really perplexed you. Not only that, but you had already grown loyal and caring toward your newfound friends. "But--maybe I can help!" you exclaimed.
Dream shook his head sadly. "No, (Y/N). It's too dangerous. Error might catch you, turn you into one of his puppets--I can't let that happen."
"But--"
"I'm sorry. There is no way I could live with myself if something happened to you," Dream sighed morosely.
"I'm not dumb, Dream," you pressed, "I can strategize. I'm clever. Really, Dream..." But you knew that arguing was futile. You weren't very strong. Yet you also wanted to help, as well as the fact that you hated being the damsel in distress. You had survived thugs, robbers, defilers--all on your own, your entire life. Then there was your father. You must have been able to do something! From the look on Dream's face, though, he was not going to allow it.
"It'll be okay, (Y/N)," Dream assured quietly, "And do not worry about Geno Sans. He is not as bad as he seems." Then, suddenly, Dream embraced. "Wish me luck," he murmured. He turned and opened a portal, disappearing and leaving you behind. You clenched your fists. You weren't useless, and you were tired of being treated like a princess. Regardless, you doubted there was any way out of this place, so you huffed and crossed your arms in discontent.
"Wow," came a deep voice from behind you, "That was rough."
You jumped a bit and turned to see Geno standing there, hands tucked lazily in his pocket. Her really did look like your Sans, moreso than Dream, Ink, or that awful Error. Just a few little changes, and he would look identical. Though the differences were quite obvious, the most prominent wasn't the colour of his clothes, his pixelized face, or the gaping gash--no, what really threw you off and made it clear her wasn't the Sans from was the lack of laid-back humour on his face. He looked so...sad, so bitter. Much like you once had. It hurt to see one of the alternate Sans, who looked so much like the one from your timeline, with such a downtrodden expression on his face. Though, you certainly could not blame him. You couldn't imagine the pain he must have gone through.
"Oh," you said simply, "Ge--er, Sans."
He snorted. "No need to call me 'Sans.' I know I'm not the original. Geno works just fine." His tone seemed lighter than before, and far less hostile.
"Oh," you repeated dumbly, "It's just that Dream said you don't like being called Geno..."
"Dream's always afraid of offending everyone," said Geno. Suddenly, his expression brightened. He smiled--that same, toothy grin that the Sans you knew always had. Your heart elevated at it, and the nostalgia hit you. Though you had never been super close to Sans (and the fact that, since your experience with Ink and Dream as a child, his appearance had unsettled you), it still brought on a warm, wistful nostalgia. Geno stuck out his hand for a shake. "Sorry for gettin' all weird on you earlier. I have a...er, a not-so-great past with humans. But you don't seem so bad."
Hearing this, you shook his hand merrily. His friendliness definitely helped you relax a bit, yet you still couldn't rub off the itch of wanting to help Dream and Ink, even if it was only a little bit. Your jaw with set with irritation. To be entirely honest, you were a bit pissed. As much as you appreciated the two Sanses, it annoyed you that they had been treating you like a weakling. You could have figured something out! Maybe you could have been a distraction, or come up with some clever plan...
Geno must have noticed this, because he sighed. "You're seriously peeved about that, aren't you, kid?"
You released a deep breath. "Yeah. Guess I am."
He snickered. "But, hey, if you're mad at someone, first let him sit in your car, and then belt him." You stared at him blankly for a moment, then it clicked. Clicked. Oh, god. You cracked a smile. Stupid pun. It was clear that Geno was trying to cheer you up.
And, honestly, he was. Partially because you were decent, and partially because...well, when that irritated expression crossed your face, you began to glow. It was obvious you hadn't noticed--you couldn't. He had never seen a human do such a thing. The light had first burned in your chest, then he saw it spread to the rest of your body. What he had seen...it was your SOUL, something you couldn't see yourself, probably because you were unaccustomed. Much like he could see Frisk's, he could see yours. Your SOUL, though....it wasn't like Frisk's. It wasn't full of determination. Nor did it consist of what the other children's had. No...there was something different there. Something special, that he was sure you did not know you had. It warmed him to the bone.
Then, that solemn look crossed your face again. Even the worst of puns couldn't lighten your mood too much. You wanted to do something about the Error situation, but there was nothing you could do. So, instead, you turned to Geno. "So, what's there to do around here?"
Geno's face fell yet again. "Oh," he started, "You know, walk. Stare. Sit. The normal things."
You sighed and shook your head. "I wish I could just help them," you said bitterly, "Just...somehow."
"Sorry, can't help you there, kid," sighed Geno, "I'm stuck here. If I even tried to leave I'd..." He raised his finger and slid it across his bony throat. You faltered. Although Dream had already given you an explanation on why he was there, he had never explained why Geno had never left. This gave a you a new perspective, and made you feel horrible for bringing it up.
"That sounds..." You tried to save the situation, furrowing your eyebrows and pursing your lips. "Lonely," you finally decided.
Geno smiled. "Guess so."
Silence. Well...this was awkward. You racked your mind frantically for something to say, some sort of conversation topic. Geno cut into your thoughts with a chuckle. "Woah, kid. I can see the desperation all over your face. Let's not talk about me. What's your story?"
