Butter Roll x Reader

Oneshot

Warnings: sickness

-Immobile-

Your arms are immobile.

Everything is hot.

You can't move.

Why is everything like this?

Because Butter Roll had wrapped you up in a so called blanket-burrito, and is currently clinging to you.

"I don't see how this necessary," You'd say to him, sulking from inside of the blankets.

Butter Roll would huff before explaining to you for the fiftieth time this day. "It's important for you to rest because-"

You'd cut him off quickly. "Because the more I rest the faster I'll recover. I know I know.." You sighed.

"I just don't see why you feel the need to cling to me like some lost puppy."

Butter Roll snickered before holding onto you a little tighter.

"Oh, this isn't necessarily needed for you to recover. I just felt like holding you," Butter Roll would say as he began to innocently twirl your hair.

That sounds about right..

Though you had to admit-

It did feel nice... being held by your lover.

"Aren't you worried that I'll get you sick?" You asked him, only for Butter Roll to return a large grin.

"Why would I be worried? It's just a cold." He leaned his head onto your shoulder, leaving soft kisses along your neck.

"Exactly, it's just a cold. You don't have to put this much effort into caring for me," you told him.

"But I want to make sure you feel alright!" Butter Roll would say to you, never loosening his grasp around you.

You had gotten somewhat used to how cuddly Butter Roll was as a romantic partner, but it seemed to only get ten times worse when you were sick! Seeing as he constantly swaddles you.

"Speaking of you feeling alright, you haven't taken your cold medicine."

At long last, Butter Roll released you from his grasp only to go look through a random cabinet.

He worked efficiently, finding the correct medicine very quickly!

He returned, sitting in the couch next to youm "Okay, open wide-" He held out a spoon with the liquid in it out in front of you, a large smile present on his face.

You would roll your eyes before opening your mouth to drink the medicine.

Oh, it was absolutely repulsive. A horribly bitter taste with an even worse texture.

"How could you make me take this disgusting concoction-?" You'd ask, making a gagging expression.

"Ah, sorry love.. " he cupped your face and left kisses all over it as an apology.

You couldn't help but laugh softly.

"I'll only forgive you if you give me more kisses," You'd say as a joke.

He laughed as well. "Then that's exactly what I'll do!"

You knew that if you ever needed help, you'd be in good hands with your boyfriend, Butter Roll Cookie.
