sometimes I say weird shit or make silly mistakes with my English (example: I used to think butcher was pronounced like “buttcher”) or say “razor” focused instead of “laser” 💀💀 that I feel more comfortable speaking English with people whose first language isn’t English bc I feel like they’ll judge me less LMAO

Wanted to expand a little on this AU idea, that’ll be mostly like the events of the show placed in the studio with the crew as the cast in different situations. And here we have...

Adaptation and Plot Points!

First of all, the show’s dialogues would be mostly adapted according to how the events in the crossover develops.

The studio is like in game on its singular places, but would be all mashed up according, again, to how the events develops (Like, Pottsfield = Bendyland, and that’s way in the beginning, but later we go to Level P, and then we fuse In-Game Boris’ hideout with Tom and Allison’s hideout to make for all that “I don’t remember this place to be so big/This place is so big I don’t even recognize my own home” sort of thing, inserting as well the extended rooms from BATDS as a way to connect both hideouts).

I’ve given it a lot of thought, but the episodes Schooltown Follies and The Ringing of the Bell don’t seem to quite fit in here, sorry :/

This means No Ms. Langtree, no Jimmy Brown (even if Sammy and Susie fits well but I already asigned their roles), no Lorna and no Auntie Whispers.

Same goes for the frog AKA Jason Funderburger. Sorry ú-ù

Sammy would be carrying a projector that he’d need to lubricate with fresh thick ink to keep it running.

Where’s Norman~?

Joey is The Lie...

The Flashback episode AKA Into the Unknown would be Henry getting the letter and pondering if going or not, encouraged by Linda, even if that meant quite a long trip and who knows what Joey had in store, specially when he invites him to go to the studio and he gets in...

Instead of turning people into Edelwood trees to get the Oil, they start to turn into Searchers agonizingly slowly (a regular Searcher would be a Swollen Searcher with no more Thick Ink).

You Do realize the dark tone it will take with the roles, right? Maybe I should go chapter by chapter seeing how it works...

There are parts where I just can’t figure by just writing, so maybe there’d be some drawings involved (actually I already got a third of the intro song).

One of the things that hooked me up with the idea of this crossover was the mental image of how the end, near the final battle against The Beast, would develop with these guys. So if you wan’t to tear your hearts out, I invite you to check under the cut~!

Gonna leave it as a dialogue only. If you are familiar with the scene, it’ll just resonate with you ^-^~

Henry: Bendy? Bendy!

Alice!Doll: I thought it was here...

Henry: A mask...

Alice!Doll: A tape.

Henry: It looks like Sammy’s stuff...

Alice!Doll: What happened here...?

Henry: Bendy! Oh, no. Bendy, are you--?

Bendy: ...Henry?

Henry: Oh, Bendy...!

Bendy: Henry, I did it...! I defeated the Ink Demon... *Coughs a lump of ink*

Alice!Doll: Oh,Golly! He’s also melting inside!

Bendy: I’m sorry, Henry...

Henry: No, Bendy. It’s my fault we ended up here. All’s been my fault! I shouldn’t have ditched you, that wasn’t right--!

Bendy: No, Henry. I mean... Joey...

Henry and Alice!Doll: What?

Bendy: He wasn’t here. He hasn’t been here since long ago. I- I lied to you...! And I can’t erase that now!

Henry: Bendy, no. That doesn’t matter--!

Bendy: It DOES Matter! *Coughs* There’s nothing you should be doing here. You shoulda go home.

Henry: No. I won’t leave you in here! I said I would take you out with me!

Bendy: Heh! That’s so sweet...! Lies are always sweet...

Henry: Bendy? BENDY!!

And one more thing. When I was plotting out this idea initially a year ago, I asked @/lnicol1990, writer of some Toon!Henry AU stories, if I could use their extended version of The Dancing Demon song (originally the intro for JT Music’s song Can’t Be Erased), and that’d replace Adelaide’s song with Bendy happily dancing and chirping while sining it in their journey. (Thanks again for allowing me. I know I haven’t done much ever since I told you about the idea but still means a lot you allowed me ;3;)

I was tagged by @morisuke-kun to list 10 facts about me so here we go:

1. I’ve listened to the same 2hr lab safety lecture twice in the same semester because the chem department at my uni is insanely overcautious

2. Have I ever mentioned that I hate the chem department at my uni? Because I really do

3. I do most of my writing in bed or on trains

4. I used to be really into photomanipulation when I was in my teens (tho I was never very good at it lmao)

7. On my 21st birthday I spent half a day at the hospital because a friend of mine accidentally cut her finger really badly

8. Once I accidentally splattered the red dye I synthesised during lab all over my coat and everyone called me “The Buttcher” for two weeks straight (until the lab was over and I could finally wash my lab coat lol)

9. All my history teachers in secondary school sucked, but my brother is a history nerd, so I’ve learnt everything I know about history from him

Your wedding rings are a sign of everlasting love and commitment, and the quality of those rings should match that sentiment.

Wedding rings have been exchanged very much as a symbol of the lasting bond of marriage for many centuries. The circle of a ring represents undying love and the continually renewed vows of the married couple.

Wedding rings today are a physical sentiment of love, but no one can really say for sure when this age old tradition actually started.

Circles have long been archetypes for not only timelessness, but also wholeness and homecoming. The circle also speaks to the constant round of the heavens, as well as the eternal return of the seasons, marked by cyclical ritual and celebration.

In addition, the circle in rock art, sacred stone arrays, and astrology represents both the Sun and the Moon, themselves astrological and alchemical symbols for the masculine and feminine aspects of the cosmos.

This correspondence with the Sun and Moon is emphasised by the frequent practice of choosing gold for one betrothed and silver for the other, as gold and silver are the metals long associated with the Sun and Moon respectively.

Wedding Traditions

In the past, wedding gowns were not always white. Many years ago, blue was a symbol of ‘purity’. Many cultures have never recognised white as a wedding dress color. The first use of a diamond ‘engagement ring’ was in 1477 and was given to Mary of Burgundy by Archduke Maximilian of Hamburg.

Tradition has it that wearing pearls on your wedding day is bad luck because they represent tears. But interestingly, the amount of tears a groom sheds is directly proportional to the cost of the bride’s diamond jewellery. Lesson to be learned?…stick with diamonds. If mama ain’t happy, ‘everybody’ will be crying!

Tossing the bouquet is said to bring the newlyweds luck and protection. Let’s face it, holding onto a bunch of bug-infested weeds is bad luck for anyone. Might as well pawn it off on someone else.

The word ‘bride’ is derived from the Celtic word ‘Brigid’, which was a goddess in Celtic legend and lore. The goddess then became St. Brigid of Ireland, who bestowed blessings on the brides. The word ‘groom’ comes from the Piglatin word ‘Oom-gray’, of St. Oomgray, who was the patron Saint of Flatulence.

Actual aisle runners were first used when roads and pathways were unpaved and muddy. The runner kept the bottom of the bride’s gown from getting dirty. It was then re-used to wrap sides of beef at the local ‘Thine Buttcher Shoppe’ and to cover the examination table at ‘Thou Medeval Docktor Office’…a tradition that carries on to this day.

Does anyone have a theory why Emhyr's curse was lifted by Calanthe giving him Pavetta (or Pavetta giving herself to him, whatever)?

Like, did Braathens go, oh my new ruler wants me to curse someone? Let's make it a joke and turn him into a hedgehog and it will only be removed by... yes, by what? A child surprise? Love, however true or twisted it might have been? What did actually remove the curse and why?

Vernon Roche's hat

Dear people - buckle in! I realized this morning (after reading @bloededhoine 's post) that probably a lot of you don't understand how awesome Vernon Roche's hat is. So let me get started...

It all started sometime in the 1200s with a hood with a short cape. In Germany that was called a Gugel. Picture from Meyer's Konversationslexikon, ca. 1885.

Somebody in the 1300 (and it’s really a pity that we don’t know who it was) decided that wearing the Gugel the plain old way was boring. And then did something that I can only imagine happening while drunk: they popped the Gugel on the wrong way! Theface-opening in the hood was put on the head, which caused the cape to just flop over the top of head. And the tail of the hood (which got longer over the time this was in fashion) could be draped below the chin and over the shoulder.

And thus the chaperon was born, as depicted here in Sandro Botticelli's "Portait of a Young Man" (ca 1479).

The chaperon was very popuar throughout the Middle Ages, but lost its popularity by the 15th century.

The version Vernon Roche wears seems to me to be a more refined version of the early chaperon. This means that he probably has one of these padded and stiffened headbands that were used to tuck in the excess of the cape and make the hat stay in place.

The tail of the hood (the liripipe) is also quite long which means it is probably designed as a chaperon and he didn’t just take any old hat to put it on upside down.

The draping also doesn’t just flop but is created quite artfully (although I have to say that there were chaperons that were a lot fancier).

We can also see below, that he has some kind of cap below the chaperon. Possibly to prevent chafing or sweating?

All of this causes me to imagine Vernon Roche in front of a mirror after he wakes up, artfully tucking and draping his chaperon to make sure that it actually sits right. He also must be quite annoyed when his hat gets knocked off in combat! Probably one of Iorveth’s hobbies: knock the hat off Vernon Roche…

Also, suppose it gets knocked off but the white cap stays on - I think I'd pay money to see that!
