Talking to ppl with genuine emotional connections to their family is... Strange. And sometimes a bit sad if they're my fp
Because...yeah ig I have my mum who's great but doesn't really care much about how I feel about anything ever.
And sometimes when I talk to my favourite person, they'll tell me about their family and I think... Wow... That must be really nice...
And when I text them, I know they have notifications on for whatsapp, sometimes they won't reply for a while and it's because their family is more of a priority than me. Their family text them to check up on them n ask them how they are n stuff.
And I wonder how it feels to have family in the centre of life. They don't really understand that they're everything to me. Yes I have other friends but this is different. The same way I won't ever understand or feel how family is supposed to be the centre of most peoples lives...

Lots of ppl interpreted Slate introducing himself as Link as him not getting the social cue, which I think is a great way to interpret it lol. but also consider: he totally noticed and just decided not to lie anyway.
I tried to fill gran gran's house with pictographs Wake might have taken and little gifts Wake might have brought back for her from his adventures (within reason, all these backgrounds were a lot of work HAHA). There's Wake and Ayrll on Ice Ring Isle, and Gran Gran's even got her own korok pinwheel!

u grit ur teeth. you’d feel terrible if u make him sleep on the floor for 2 weeks.

ur heart is thudding. so is his.
“what’s up?” you whisper

he lays back down, “maybe. who knows.”
u peer over the pillow now, “we should kick his ass.”
“we should. but….after we watch a movie?” he offers up
u guys find a movie and eventually u fall asleep during it

morning comes and ur eyes flutter open
warmth wraps around your body and u go to stretch…only to realize u can barely move

ngl I always see people comparing mario and saori to naruhina and saying saori looks like hinata
yeahh, i know that crowd prefers to gaslight themselves into believing but one quick read of mario and you can tell saori is far form being hinata
mario and saori have a different dynamic, even i wouldn’t dare to say they parallel narusasu exactly because it’s not true. mario is morally grey unlike naruto, he’s more of an asshole and self serving. but the thing is that when you see both dynamics you can tell what kind of tropes kishimoto likes when it comes to romance. mario and saori don’t like each other at first and grow into each other because they are forced to work together. saori is not shy as hinata, she just doesn’t talk because her trauma, despite this she has a strong character and is also pretty skilled, even better than mario. saori is said she used to smile and all in the past but due the abuse she suffered at her foster father hands her personality became cold But then the one shot ends with her being able to smile and more forwards and find love and this is all because mario’s influence, sounds familiar doesn’t it?
anyway i still think one simple look at it will immediately tell you there’s no nh parallel like srly does this look like anything remotely similar to naruto and hinata’s relationship to you?
and even looks-wise? ppl say they look alike because they got dark hair but once you put them side by side it’s nothing alike
meanwhile…
i know people would rather eat their own foot than admit who mario and saori resemble in appearance (even tho mario’s artstyle is more detailed than nrt since kishimoto worked on it longer and it’s shorter) but i would expect people to be forreal with their comparisons at least

🪷 girl fuck these people I'm really sorry you're getting so many messages bitching about no smut in ch10. Like who even cares? Does a story or chapter have no value if the characters aren't going at it like rabbits and fucking and sucking on each other?
At this point if you're so disappointed about no hanky panky just go read one of those pornhwas where the characters start screwing at the drop of a hat.
I would've loved that chapter with smut or without smut idgaf it doesn't even matter to me (and the same is for most of your readers too, I'm sure of it). We've all stuck around with your work for so long, and we have faith in your direction as well as your decisions regarding the pace of the plot. It's never that serious, especially not to the stage that bozos feel the need to weep in a writer's asks and swamp them with negative messages. Go jack off or play dj with your hello kitty and go to sleep like the rest of us.
Again, no matter what you do with your work it's entirely your choice. Ofc we as readers can have our own takes and how or why we interact with the work can vary, but it shouldn't reach this stage. I've seen this same story of bullying and pestering authors on tumblr too many times with other authors whose work I enjoy, and many have left their blogs because the harassment made them lose interest in writing and sharing their pieces. It's fucking heartbreaking. Pornhub dot com is right there for y'all to be doing entirely too much in the asks of these writers who are already overwhelmed and write and share all this FOR FREE. If you have so many qualms about it pick up that bic and get to writing bitch!

and yes, if they want smut, they can write it themselves. why do i need to be the one to write it for you? i don’t owe anyone anything.

CARIBERT SPOILERS
good thing that we got a specific answer as to 'where was Khaenri’ah located'
LOVED the tidbit about Kaeya trying to run away to Sumeru as a kid — as nice as living in the winery might have been, little Kaeya was still sentimental enough to risk that newly gained safety just to reconnect with his roots, very sad and revealing
...also, his absence caused a ruckus and Crepus personally went and took him back, which means either that he truly cared about his sworn son ...or that he had a yet unknown goal for him 👀
more confirmation for Kaeya being a little bit too much into alcohol since he tried every kind of liquor the tavern offered and appears to have a high tolerance (day-drinking even though he must have known that a difficult conversation with the Traveler and Dain was incoming)
on that topic, tbh im not sure if his excuse (learning about Sumeru’s alcohol industry and leading trade negotiations) was supposed to be just that, a lie that he came up with, or if genshin writers are this bad at writing excuses for characters to be places... like I guess 'alcohol import regulations' could be something that the Knights would do, but when Snezhnayan merchants wanted to import their firewater they went straight to Diluc, and overall this doesn’t seem like a worthy task for the Acting Grandmaster’s right-hand man
...unless it was supposed to be a vacation that Jean sent him on, but why would she want him to miss Windblume?
also apparently Diluc won’t be in Windblume either, so maybe this is something they coordinated on, idk
but yeah no, most probably Kaeya just lied and specifically went to Sumeru to find out more about Alberichs
anyway, he is as avoidant as ever, getting the small bit of info he wanted and immediately bailing on mc and Dainsleif (who seems like the type to reveal important secrets without meaning to, so it probably would have served him better to pry a bit more)
i would have enjoyed it if they actually started arguing haha but alas
don't have a lot of thoughts on Dainsleif himself, his reaction to Kaeya makes sense considering his grudge against the Abyss Order
i still think that Kaeya might have ties not only to the Abyss Order (which he only confirmed for himself now), but also to the Fatui (which he might have known about all along), but that's all just theories
overall i really like that Kaeya doesn't seem to know that much about lore stuff — this gives him an opportunity to learn about it alongside us and have to actually grapple with his duties to either Mond or Khaenri'ah rather than it all happening in the backstory somewhere
also since we are told that Kaeya is Chlothar’s descendant that must mean:
1) Caribert was rid of his hilichurl curse somehow and later procreated
2) unless Kaeya is Caribert lmao but that would be too much?..
3) in either case Kaeya has some Mondstadt blood in him too since Caribert’s mother was from there, tying the whole ‘bloodline’ issues together neatly
otherwise, yeahh, the usual unfortunate writing choices...
gasp did you just empathize with a character who stands against the current status quo? well, let's spend looots of time proving how unreasonable they are..
like it's not even a good play on the standard story of cults preying on vulnerable ppl, but who cares at this point
i guess it’s somewhat interesting when compared to Kaeya’s dad writing which made it sound as if Alberichs took over the responsibility of ruling over the survivors as soon as Khaenri’ah’s royal line was incapacitated, while this quest makes it seem as if Chlothar Alberich lived on his own with his cursed son for a while before he founded the Abyss Order
which also means that they weren’t officially recognized as regents by the nation? hmm
oh and we didn't even get to see what's under a hilichurl's mask :/
we did learn a bit more about Khaenri’ah as a country, specifically that they had some serious divide between the ‘true’ Khaenri’ah bloodline ppl, the nobility, and the commoners, but im guessing this just leads to ‘it deserved to get nuked bc it sucked’
the gravity thing was fun, i liked it in Elden Ring and i like it here hehe, hope there's more of it in the future

Not to join the flood of suggestions lmao but as I am also reading and loving the manhwa you are, so others on lezhin that are amazing (if you dont know them already) are "ghosts nocturne" (so beautiful and uber smutty, but hella dubious consent); "killer crush" is hysterical and wholesome; I like the art in "mad dog"; "fate makes no mistakes" is cool, too, and smutty. Lol. And "payback" is based on a web-novel which is currently being officially published in installments, and which I also enjoy greatly.
