oh q!tubbo is soooo ignoring the red flags and weirdness bc he just wants to cling to this little bit of normality he has got back. he has seen that the weather is too perfect, the server too calm and quiet, its all off, but he's ignoring it bc he's happy to just have a normal day. even jokingly begging q!bagi to not ruin this perfect normal he has. but he knows something is off, and ultimately asks q!bagi to tell him what she finds, bc he'd rather know that not know.

he just wants one day of peace. even if there is something darker behind it.

this is an overdramatization of that moment of the stream. there is not intention of villanizing any of the other characters, just some q!bbh stan writing some angst.

The conversation had him tense for several minutes. His close friends had been picking on him for more than half an hour.

He was already feeling bad because Bagi as well as Tina seemed to hate the base he had made based on Soulfire. He felt bad about it, for some reason no one seemed to appreciate the memorial he had made to remember the only good thing about Purgatory. Bagi even admitted wanting to burn it, but it didn't make sense, he had spent so much time on it, why would she want to burn something like that?

Once he arrived at the circle of people, he tried to make room on one of the sofas because he felt too uncomfortable standing and watching them laugh among themselves, without understanding the context. It was awkward, but It was fine! They seemed to be having a good time.

Or so he thought - Until the conversation started talking about him. For some reason Richas was talking about how he (Bbh) caused problems in other people's relationships, thing he didn't understand, because he had helped one of the couples present in the room. He didn't feel too comfortable. He knew that he wasn't good with feelings of romance, it's not like he had a clear concept about it or was familiar with it.

He felt embarrassed.

Suddenly they started talking about his relationship with Forever. It felt like a great pain in the butt.

Everyone started talking about how

"They weren't together yet and it had taken months." he felt pressured. What was wrong with it? It had taken him long enough to come to terms with his feelings and identify them to now go quick. It didn't make sense to him.

Why did everyone looked at him like that? Why was everyone laughing with his name in their mouths but he didn't seem to be included in the conversation?

They started joking about his escape room project. And he could only think about a few hours ago enjoying watching his friends having a good time with one of his works, and for some strange reason, he felt hurt.

Why did everyone seem to hate what Bbh appreciated openly. Why did no one seem to take him seriously?

The conversation just continued. The truth is that he just seemed to have a good time in the few minutes that the conversation wasn't focused on him. He wanted to throw himself on the ground and let him come through the water.

Even when he was simply looking to talk alone with his son, someone would come to interrupt out of the blue. For some reason he felt a small ringing in his ears.

Maybe they were from the beatings given by his close friends.

Maybe it was because of the open wounds on his body and the radiation reaching his brain.

Maybe his brain was simply beginning to dissociate from all the stress he had been feeling in the last hour but hadn't allowed himself to admit.

Every time he left the others and came back the feeling got worse. It was like being stabbed in a wound repeatedly, without letting him breathe.

Why was he sweating so much? Why did his head hurt? Why did he feel a slight pressure on his chest? Was he sleepy? He wasn't sure, he just knew that breathing was difficult.

For a second he felt his eyes water and he felt frustrated, there was no point in feeling sad, right? So why did he feel like crying so much?

Everyone seemed to be having a blast, why was he the only one standing there watching everyone from afar?

...

For a few seconds he wished for the worst of his fears; being alone.

He tried to stay calm and wiped his eyes with one of his still discolored sleeves. Dapper was back, there was no point in feeling bad, right?

Everything was fine, completely fine.

He called Dapper aside and swallowed hard, trying to communicate that he couldn't take it anymore and that he felt exhausted by the situation. Dapper of course understood.

As always, his kid seemed to be the other half of his universe.

He felt extremely tired. He went home.

Although he still heard a slight ringing in his ears.

I wanted to piggyback off your last post on the 'birdbrain/abandonment' post:

I feel this particular situation was bound to happen sooner or later. It's not the first time of late(within the last month) the children have felt abandoned/left behind by qphil. During Prison Event you could see the eggs thoughts on being left behind due to possible escape or interactions with other residents and lore.

Day 3 after the interview tallulah said, "I dont like it here.." and chayanne said, "Let's stick together today..". Qphil then turned it into a joke, "...STICK together.. cause he's holding a stick.." but I do not believe these words were said for nothing. Day 3 had dark themes surrounding the residents(inmate crucifixion) and as a child paying attention I would be scared and want my parent in sight much as possible.

Now of course we give grace to the ccs because streaming and events can take a toll. Phil had stated several times during the event he felt overwhelmed/stimulated, along with others agreeing with him.

At one point the eggs eventually burried them selves in hole, in which wasn't addressed until after a guard Tubbo and Charlie noticed. On the walls chayanne signs say: we are a ghost - we will die here and bit later tallulah states: we were wondering how lo g it took u to find us, we were thinking you were leaving us here.

Qphil reassured them but I got to thinking: every where he went residents had their eggs with them. When escaping with Charlie fit and tubbo, ramon was with fit and sunny was with either parent...qphil was alone. When talking to the guard for the hat, pomme was with aypierr - rishas and pepito were with their guardians and em/dapper was with bagi and bad...qphil was alone.

Giving benifit of doubt he was trying to protect them.(the guard was a butt)

That being said: the separation was scary, anything could have happened. Yesterday situation could have went very differently as well. The eggs could have been mortal. Something more dangerous than the scorpion could have caught them along their travel back home.

And this ALL is off the talks/agreement of them sticking together as a family. Having each others back. The situation is so interesting because after concerns are said qphil does comply with not taking his sight off them rest of stream. I really enjoy this family dynamic for some reason

oh gosh don't apologize, I'm eating this whole post up. And it's given me more to say, so... sorry in turn, lol!!

honestly, a lot of the prison event felt like a blur to me (a lot happened lol), so I completely forgot about those small moments. Like a lot of other similar moments, they're jokes, yes, but there's a certain weight to them. And these jokes they've been making have had a certain weight for a while now. And.... looking back, I feel dumb for not even mentioning the one thing that's really brought this whole issue, and these "jokes" and concerns the kids have, into existence.

It's the Ender King.

q!Phil has made it clear that if the Ender King finds him and seeks to capture him and take him away from the kids, there's nothing he can do. He's not sure if he can come back, if he does get taken, even though he swears he'll do everything he can to return to his kids. But that reveal of the Ender King and Phil's concerns about his fate by his hands has affected Chayanne and Tallulah greatly. It's good that he's been honest with them, I'd rather he be. But there's no good way to handle this, in truth.

Chayanne, after Purgatory, has been more clingy with his father, but I think it's more noticeable as of recent. Tallulah has tried to distance herself a little like sleeping at her and Wilbur's house, most likely out of a need to feel independent and such, but within the last month or so, she's also been fairly clingy. I think her attempts at being independent fell to the wayside once the idea of her father just... disappearing, and possibly never coming back, came to mind. She sleeps at the sanctuary (and now their new house as of the reset) more often than not. They're both afraid of waking up and seeing that the most consistent parental figure in their lives is gone.

Like, we all know that q!Phil isn't actually abandoning them or even leaving them behind with any malicious or neglecting purpose, and I think the kids know he wouldn't do so with intention (which is why him being defensive yesterday was sort of a moot point, but anyway). Plenty of the parents will let their kids mind their business and do things without them around. This isn't new, and this has happened with Phil's kids plenty of times! For example, Phil didn't want his kids around during a lot of the prison stuff, because a lot of what he was doing was risky, and he didn't want them to get hurt. And we know that yesterday was a pure accident, and he wants to try to be more careful.

But technicalities and logic aren't really important here. What upsets the kids is simply the idea of him being gone, and the fear of him never coming back. It doesn't matter how many times he tells them that he will, because these fears are huge and real. You accidentally left the kids behind at Etoiles' house? It doesn't matter, you still left. You got kidnapped by the Ender King? It doesn't matter you're still gone.

But oh, it was funny when she said she was vegetarian the first day because before she arrived people were talking on how would be funny she and qcellbit were siblings and she was vegetarian because qcellbit is a cannibal

But yeah, qpac and qetoiles need therapy (like everyone else in this island) THEY ARE IMPORTANT BUT IT LOOKS LIKE THEY CAN'T SEE IT

This make that time qetoiles lost to the codes more painful, because think about what could'vecrossed his mind after it, he failed on his duty, he failed everyone who was counting on him, who trusted him. Sometimes I think qetoiles don't see himself as more than the weapon he holds, that he can't fail, but he's more than that, he is a friend, heis a father, he is a person(or would it be a cucumber?) he's not made of metal, he can get hurt

And qpac just thinks that if someone had to go, that would be him, because would the best choice, right? Cellbit is the main investigator, and now there's Bagi who is also great, Mike has a good knowledge on create and Forever, well, he's the president, he has charisma and dedicated, the n.i.n.h.o is a proof of this, and well, Felps is Felps(to this day I can't explain this man, he simply is), they would left an hole if they left(and worse, they did) it would be notified, people would feel it, and from that point of view, qpac thinks he would be less of a loss if he was gone. But that's the thing, they are all important, their family works in this way, every piece matter, pac felt every loss, again and again, and they felt when he was gone, when he hurt himself to save qforever

(This what I love in the favela 6, if you looked at their past a everyone you might as "how can this be a functional family?", but they are regardless of all the odds)

Honestly,this what makes both of them interesting characters, qetoiles had a big responsibility on his shoulders he couldn't fail(I still find funny how apparently he was supposed to die way before than he did in his last fight with the codes, that's the french beast to you) and qpac doesn't see his own worth, like, y'know the day Kameto came back? He was calmly fighting the mobs and even stopped to fix his hair(also if you find the stream you mentioned please tell me Wich one is)

And if I remember well etoiles was the first to mention pac was a good fighter, right? Sadly they don't interact as much as before but they have a such interesting dynamic

Also I remember that I heard that etoiles wanted to have a villain arc back in the elections arc, but I think he gave up because he didn't exactly have a reason, Pomme had two lives and he's literally the strongest person there lol

(Also THAT part of the fandom is a *insert some insult here because I can't find any word on English that isn't a swear* and he could receive a lot of hate, thats why I don't use Twitter)

But he would be a terrifying villain

And I've been waiting for a TazerCraft villain arc since they got arrested, like, I think Pac deserves to go a bit wild

(Talking about villains, while the happy pills arc wasn't exactly a qforever villain arc, I'm surprised how people embraced it, especially the first day the eggs disappeared, the chat was saying to explode everything and kill. Forever even called Pac to calm him down(Wich he did but he also was like "explode everything" too, Pac has potential to be part of the voices in the head that almost everyone has lol)
