I subscribe to a Batman who is happy and CARES. To the Batman that after discovering Killer Croc killed two cops trying to protect homeless people from them, just let Waylon go scoot free. To the Batman that wants the Robins to not be like him. To the Batman that promissed Killer Tut that he wouldn't let the doctors/wardens in Arkham abuse him nor any of the patients again and meant it, that was sorry he wasn't able to do it before. To the Batman who helped Clayface rehabilitate and accepted him into his vigilante family. To the Batman that supported Harley and was glad she lefted Joker. To the Batman who say how tje Drakes negleted their son and aitomatically letted Tim move to the mansion. To the Batman who say a young kid steal wires and decided the kid needed support. To the Batman who failed Jason because he hoped that meeting his mother would help him. To the Batman who did his best to convince Clark to accept and raise Conner. To the Batman who started trying to garantee no lod would have to lost their parents and that realized that he wanted more than that, that he wanted a Gotham that people liked to love in. To the Batman who could've healed any other city but failed cause Gotham is cursed and still keeps trying cause he cares.

But unfortunally this Batman is rare. Specially after Miller and Nolan sucesses. We still have him from time to time. But not always.

And Arkham is Bedlam (fourth day reminding people that). The most important part of Batman's rogues gallery exists or because the system failed them again and again and people don't care about mental heath or - in the worst case scenario - because the writers see mental illness as a moral failure. Bruce is a hero cause he doesn't develops it. His vilans are evil cause they are crazy. (I do preffer the one who doesn't stigmatizes it and again a good Batman media is also a good critique of the instituions of power and the prejudice put over neurodivergent and mentaly ill people or just use the also huge but not so popular part of Bruce's gallery that is just capitalistic assholes and forms to preserve the corrupt system or just sane and evil).

Anyway. Batman is my favorite hero when portrait right. Wich is not soo often, but when we have it, it's beutifull.

I have think there's something wrong with me.

I have one singular dog. Since I've gotten Misty, I've purchased 8 collars, 2 leashes, and 1 slip leash. In addition to these, I already had 3 leashes, Misty came home with a collar, and a puppy sized martingale slip leash.

Why am I about to buy yet another leash????

#sam literally had 3 collars and 1 leash his entire 10 years of life #and one of those got so gross rolling in the woods that i tossed it #why sooooo much dog stuff #like i feel like it all has a purpose and a place but still #the bf was complaining about the amount of dog stuff we have for one dog and concerned about how much more there will be soon #well. soonish. felony may just be coming home in may. assuming we get one from this upcoming litter #i think if there are at least 6 pups then the odds are good #to be fair though of that dog stuff that she didn't come with she's grown out of or irreparably worn out half the collars #and two of the leashes are only used when we go camping as a tie out extender. part of random junk i aquired from family home #and also the leash i want is for hiking! ruffwear hitchhiker. looks good #(as the bf said. another dog item for a specific purpose)#anyways anyways. hopefully the rest of dogblr has way more than i do so i can feel less like a hoarder of dog supplies #i need it all okay #quick going out to the yard collar and leash #minimal but pretty short leash and collar #easily cleaned but still attractive collar and leash #house collar #nylon tagless collar for unforeseen collar needs #and now a handsfree leash for hiking #it just fits. the real question is why do i want to buy a matching harness for it too

thinking 'bout how the lads interact with what the bracelets represent, especially in their decks

#marwospeaking #Yuuya is by far hardest to work with on this because he Varies. but that might just be him being opposite to Yuzu so it might count?#anyway Yuuya is a bushfire made by fireworks set off without proper precaution (the improperly set off fireworks being Zarc..#.. being influenced into the position that made the lads through his desire to both destroy and entertain his crowds)#It's small sometimes. but in the right conditions is an unstoppable conflagration #Yuuto literally does not die. In a world where we never truly get the other two (Yuugo and Yuuri) interacting with their host (Yuuya)..#.. outside of duels. he very much does. He is undead in a way the others don't quite match (pre Zarc revival) and it's opposite to..#.. En Bird's life (assuming it counts death too as part of its cycle)#Yuugo uses machine monsters - things that distinctly don't breathe. and in most cases have exhaust pipes billowing fumes #and machines can be warm to the touch at times. which you could feasibly slide against Rin's Windwitches for being Very Cold Ladies #Also he's trapped no matter where he is. Neo Domino has a stronger grip on him as a person than anyone else. and when he might finally..#.. escape that. he's trapped in someone else's body with no canonical recourse. because the story ended on Yuuya's terms and no one elses #Yuuri is hardest to place but I think he's very stationary. Sere's monsters are dancers - constantly moving - and she's very able to #adapt as she goes despite how stupid she can be book-wise. Yuuri is rooted into his role. even when he discards his loyalty his role was..#.. always in Zarc's interest no matter if he knew or not. The Professor's loyalty from him is an add-on to that #... I'd argue Zarc cared more about his pieces than Ray cared about hers also? He made cards for them on the fly so they'd Win #Even in moments where that victory is not in a wholly positive light - Odd-Eyes Raging and Gatlinghoul - but we know he's capable of it..#.. a la allowing Yuuya to debut pendulum monsters on his behalf in order to win against Ishijima #something something this can then apply to the other lads. they never lose except to each other and Ray's girls (at least on screen)#Yuuto survived 3 years of war. even despite Yuugo and Yuuri showing up. so methinks Zarc must've had a role in helping him survive #Like. Zarc's distinctly present for his Lads. Ray's not present for her lasses until one of them speaks through her #Sure it's very possible that's a bracelet thing - they are floodgates at the end of the day - and not a Ray thing. but it also wouldn't..#.. surprise me given Ray is an Akaba. we know they will sacrifice others for a gain later on - Ray's was sacrificing a whole world to make.#.. a safer one for everyone to live in. irrelevant on if they remember it or if they never existed originally. Except Leo Akaba. #one of the other things that annoys me about soulmate stories and not-canon-rooted aus in general is the way so many of them discount the #idea that two people can be perfect for each other at one point in their lives but an extremely bad match at another point.#sometimes you grow into people who would be good for each other and sometimes you grow apart #and i think it's an important part of understanding a character to understand how they got from point A to point B and what makes up a #'core' of their character and how they've changed as a result. i refuse to believe that you all Want to believe that people are static #'souls' from birth to the grave.#''if these two characters had just met earlier they would have been the perfect team and half the plot would never have happened''#if those two characters had met as teens/younger adults they would have torn each other to pieces because they lacked the perspective given #to them by the life experiences they had as individuals.#''if only this person had confessed their feelings at this point in the plot everything would be fixed''#the reason they did not do that is because of who they are as a character and this experience and regret is what pushes them to #pursue a relationship more earnestly later in the plot #''these two would have been best friends as kids!''#again if you read the portions where they were respectively children you can imagine that actually they would have publicly #uninvited the other one from their 'bff only' birthday parties #'these two characters were perfect for each other in [flashback arc] why weren't they endgame'#because they grew into people who couldn't coexist without hurting each other and weren't willing to change those parts of themselves so #they split ways (violently)#all of this is in some ways subjective character interpretation and in others very obvious #but i came across another post today about how someone is frustrated that a couple 'didn't just meet sooner'#and with these two characters it's like. they genuinely would have killed each other. like they would have driven each other to kill themse #to delete #ein babbles #and another thing about people who get smug/mad at characters for being 'stupid' for what ultimately is 'not knowing that they are in a #[genre] story' is th [dragged away from the laptop and wrapped in several layers of blanket burrito where i suffocate to death]

FUCK, some Palpatine stans/Sith Apologists can be just as annoying as some Jedi Apologists, if not more! (Honestly, I don't even know why I'm surprised 😒)

I think that's one of the best parts about being an Anakin Stan: you have space to critic characters from both sides and, as a bonus, gain the opportunity to annoy many fans from both groups as much as they annoy you 😁

Honestly, Anakin was never meant to be a Jedi or a Sith. He should have send them a middle finger and run away with Padme! My man deserved to be happy and live the rest of his life in peace on Naboo with his lovely wife and their worderful children!

Finished Danganronpa Lapse and tbh nobody gets it like I do because every review I've seen wasn't made by someone who's played zero escape Why did Echo do that? ZTD shifting strats that's why! Lyle's canonically a zero escape nerd who brings up the morphogenetic field as a quick joke and is introduced arguing about the funyarinpa, do I think all these references get in the way and that it's a bit underwhelming when this comes unexplained out of nowhere? Absolutely! But it's so clearly an element the creator was inspired by and wanted to include and play with rather than a lazy last minute deal to fix 'plot holes'

#honestly I enjoyed this game a lot and only let myself play because it ties into current hyperfixation but #it #wasn't fun to do the whole shifting thing again felt like it was way too caught up on both it's influences and trying to be it's own thing #at be very same time somehow #I liked it when it for ehat it was though #I found the characters charming to no end but sadly unexplored for the most part #loved Lyle loved Sei and Missy and so many others I want to draw them all so bad (is stranded away from drawing tablet and otherwise busy)#the bad endings inclusion feels weird #when the shifting started I thought for a second that we'd get two different trials depending on our choice which didn't turn out to be it #which I feel would have been a more fun exploration of concept than what we got #it's a free game and it's imoressive for what we got presentation wise I was in love with it begining to end I think the issues are more #at like a conceptual level #decisions that were made that could have used some more passes or even more people's input? not sure but it felt like a personal oc project #which is nice to see but just probably what's not matching expectations since the polish it lacks is in such a story structure kind of way #like the pacing and the order in which new concepts and themes are presented is a bit dissonant #and people's expectations of it being a fangan only exacerbate that slight issue #it was shorter than I expected and while I do think the pacing would have benefited from more time I get how it'd be a big undertaking #I'm overall happy and will go back to get the ending I missed but it mostly feels like there's untapped potential there #which is a great sign that whatever next project the person tackles will be pretty good #and also that I may or may not blorbo out to fill in the gaps #only time will tell though lol #danganronpa lapse

#i have returned from death (school). limbo‚ even.#i shall not describe it as hell thanks to my lovely Friend (trademark) whom lights up the entire room for me #despite probably darkening it for everyone else due to her apathetic and uncaring nature. oh she's perfect #ahem. not the point. and also very boring to the rest of you who do not know nor care about her #well! the day went fairly great. she (the Friend) seemed to really enjoy my gift and got embarrassed by it‚ which was my intention #she read through the notebook i prepared for her over the summer as a sort of diary directed at her and she really laughed at some parts #she seemed to like the keychain‚ i hope to see her use it #she also really liked the matching-with-mine astronaut that is both an eraser and a pencil sharpener and is already using it #and she ate the two chocolate bars (her favorites) i added into the box as extras.#she was also pretty impressed when i pointed out design choices i made for the inside of the box #so all in all. great day‚ amazing day‚ nearly perfect dare i say. god why does it rhyme. i hate it here #ahem anyway!#we also have new teachers that took the place of the old ones. of course many remain unchanged‚ but it didn't go without any new faces #notably‚ we have a new qur'an teacher‚ a new math teacher and a new literature teacher.#some other teachers were also changed but i have not met them yet so i do not know which #i am especially conflicted with the new literature teacher -#on one hand‚ he's great! very funny‚ very considerate‚ and quite a good teacher from what i've seen.#on the other hand i will also quite miss the old literature teacher.#she was nice! i hope i get to see her around the school #anywwy‚ i will also be missing the old qur'an teacher a lot. she was my favorite‚ and she is very kind-hearted #im fine with the math teacher i suppose. i liked the old one‚ and the new one seems a bit... extra? but i don't feel too strongly on it.#i heard the english teacher we had was replaced and the one we had left the school‚ so that's sad. i really liked her.#🌙rambling

6. What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever had to do?

Ari blinks. Blinks again, just a bit too fast. "I had to get Lifa back to the Citadel. Pol was already gone, and..." She shakes her head and growls a little in frustration--the sort of frustration one has when attempting to prevent emotional overflow and on the verge of failing. "Couldn't get them all. Save who you can save, I guess, huh?"

22. What’s the easiest way to flirt with you?

Ari looks confused for a second, then shrugs. "Well, if this question is you trying to flirt--don't know who told you I was available, but they lied. Shoot your shot somewhere else."

Cio, who's fiddling with a gyro at a desk nearby, looks up and grins wide. She puts her tools down, cocks her head to the side, and crosses her arms. "Can't believe you're not answering that--what if I wanted tips?"

Ari turns to look at her, her mouth curling slowly into a matching smile. "You think you need tips, Sparks? Really?"

Cio shrugs, grin even wider now. "Would you like to give me some?"

(Sensing that they're about to be far too distracted to talk with you further, you leave quickly, feeling like the question was simultaneously not answered and answered completely.)

#gw2 #ari stormshield #cioffi #ciari #catmanderratmander #thanks a bunch for the ask! :D #the answer to the last question in part is 'be cio' asljkdf #but honestly--best ways to flirt with ari: a) banter of some kind if you're close enough to her for that to be something she's comfy with #b) fully do the 'legolas and gimli in lotr' thing of competing in number of enemies defeated in combat; or things along those lines #c) be cio (lol)--but legitimately this because cio's absolutely the only person she'd ever flirt with and has been for a While #and for the first question--ari managed to get a shield around herself and lifa (and pol's body) during the whole weylon betrayal thing #brook and casca were captured and she couldn't do anything to reach them because she was holding the shield #and lifa wouldn't have been a match for all the flame legion around on her own #so ari made the decision to get out of there and lifa listened to her #didn't have to be dragged; ari was legionnaire. lifa listened.#and lifa later then blamed ari for everything rather than blaming weylon and the two of them split apart--lifa stayed with the legions and #ari ended up with the OoW and then the pact #fun times!
