I'm about to go to bed it's literally midnight rn but I would like to once again spread my "Alexis suffers from paranoia and separation anxiety for a while after Atticus returns" headcanon propaganda.

And she completely does, at least for the remainder of season 1 as far as what we see from her on screen. By season 2 he's been back long enough she's probably gotten better at handling it but still deals with it, just maybe not as strongly anymore.

But think about it. Atticus was her whole world, he taught her how to play Duel Monsters, he's literally the reason she's taken her life in the direction she has. They never tell us exactly how long he was missing but I've always been under the impression that he's been gone for a year. Which is a long time for a person to be missing. And all that time Alexis's biggest concern was finding her brother. That's her entire motivation in the first season, everything she does is to try and find some kind of clue or something that could help her find Atticus. Or if it's not the main reason, she's got that thought in her head and often remarks or has an inner monologs moment about how it's a possible outcome in situations that she might find something.

And she puts on a brave face but you know this situation has really affected her, and I hate to say it but there is no way she never once thought that he was dead or just gone forever with him being gone for so long. She's adamant about finding him but also she leaves roses at the abandoned dorm, and in the dub and we all know I'm an expert on the dub lol at least she always says the same thing when she does that: "be at peace, brother. Wherever you are." In my mind I've always seen it like she really does believe he's still out there alive somewhere and she'll be able to find him and bring him home, but there is a part of her that's still worried maybe he's really gone. And that's a lot of intense emotions to be juggling and carrying around all the time. She loves her brother more than anything and all she wants is to bring him home but you know she was worried and scared that she'd never see him again too.

And then he returns.

After all that time, all the fear and worrying and anxiety and tireless searching, Alexis has her brother back again. And thus now we see her grow to be very protective of him and reasonably so. Especially considering that when he returns, he's very unwell. Both from the duel with Jaden, and I assume also probably from being under Nightshroud's control for such an extended period of time. So he's stuck in the hospital recovering the majority of the rest of the arc. Atticus is both physically and mentally unwell after his return, spending most of the time unconscious or just kinda quietly staring out the window because he can't remember anything and the toll this has taken on him is exponential to say the least.

Also after his return, Alexis spends practically every second she can spare by his side. She's not letting him out of her sight ever again if and when she can help it, it's just not an option. No one is going to harm or take her big brother away from her again.

Smash cut to "The Seventh Shadow Rider" where Banner under the guise of Amnael starts to make his move. Alexis is walking outside of the obelisk dorm when she hears glass break in the dub (my beloved) they remove the audio cue for no reason so she's really just got a spidey sense bro aksksks and immediately just knows Atticus is in danger and runs up to his room to check on him only to discover the place is trashed and he's missing. So she runs after Amnael demanding that he return Atticus to her. I touch on this in my shadow rider arc rewrites should be under my "abby rewrites yugioh gx" tag if y'all wanna find that post but they really give him no reason to kidnap Atticus aside from luring Alexis out so he can duel her and take her key. In my version he has other reasons for taking Atticus apart from that which is 👍.

I'm tired, it's literally been like 45 minutes since I started this post so it's like quarter to 1 am rn, and lord knows if I've even remotely explained it well, but given all of the context clues and inferences that can be made about Alexis pre-Atticus return and what we see from her post-Atticus return I find it entirely possible that after he comes back, Alexis suffers from separation anxiety and maybe even a little bit of paranoia about his safety. And I write her with that in mind in my fics every time. She's very protective of Atty and she always needs to know where he is and if he's safe and won't trust him to anyone else, even Jaden, if he's in trouble. She also gets nervous if they're not together and she doesn't know where he is, I know I've got moments like that coming up in fics I'm working on right now.

Long story short, Alexis has separation anxiety with Atticus and it makes me upset and If I have to suffer the emotional damage so do the rest of you.

FNAF: Year of Our Lives story and ideas dump

Here we go, here’s a new fnaf thing for you animatronic fans to have a gnosh on. I have had a weird relationship with this series. Was thrilled by it when it first came out, but not super into it, then thought it was getting grosser and felt uncomfortable with it for a long while (a personal matter was also pretty badly interwoven in it, and seeing merch outside did not help) but after plenty of years to take a break from it, I got intrigued by it again with some fan projects, like Lost Souls, some lighthearted comic dubs, and the Musical. It seems to have grown on me better without the jumpscare and body horror aspects, and then I actually looked into the lore of the series, as I didn’t even really know it at the beginning. It was just ugly looking animatronics going OOGA BOOGA at the screen. I was not clued in on the other cooler draw; it was a mystery story! Solving a serial murder case was way more interesting than the surface level scares! But inevitably, I did dive into some of the more intense fan projects, like VHS tapes and Walten Files. While I can’t enjoy it fully as I still don’t like gorey horror and overly detailed things, I still really like how well made they are, and the atmospheres they have which are so much thicker than the originals. I don’t know if I’m making any sense with my weird sentences here, but point is they have some charms and I like fnaf again now

So here, I’ve made my own little fanverse story, once again about the Fazbear crew and night guards, but this time they’re all working together amicably on bringing to light and justice an old evil that just won’t stay down, and all while trying to keep themselves hidden in a Disneyland esque theme park. Things have expanded well beyond the confines of a small security room in a small pizza restaurant, but the dangers are even more hectic. As our heroes Carol, the nightguard with a very unique disposition, and the Fazbear band, have to dodge criminals causing problems in the park, any strangers or security camera catching sight of them after hours, and the establishments staff from looking into the odd happenings surrounding their animatronics...until the crisis is over at least. How will they fare against such immeasurable odds, and can they make it out of the theme park alive...?

THEME SONG OF THE WHOLE SERIES: Masquerade - Jack Hylton and His Orchestra (original/Walten Files ver) for the introduction of the story. I like the old-fashioned music accompanying the animatronic kitsch style that is sometimes used. I wanted to get some of that for my project. But since this one is not so horror related, I wanted to pick a more optimistic song rather than one alluding to a misery. Not to spoil, but these Fazbear animatronics will be doing alright for a change. And the best part? You’ll read below that these series are joined in YOOL’s chronology, as I just couldn’t keep myself from wanting Banny to be part of the cast, renamed here as “Bernie”. There was really no other way to do it.

It all began with the first iteration in the 70's of the Fazbear animatronics, which were clunkily designed all together by Henry Emilie, William Afton, Felix Kranken and Jack Walten, but were approachable enough to the children. Freddy and Bonnie each began with separate groups within their own establishments. "Lil' Freddy" was the younger brother of Fredbear, a.k.a. Goldie, and planned-to-be friend of Spring. Bonnie of course was the star of his own troupe, The Showstoppers; Banny, Sha and Boozoo accompanying him. Since one was a popular pizza place and the other a decent burger joint, neither businesses were competing with each other...though that could be debatable with the conceptualizing of Springbonnie. The populous seemed to choose Fredbear's over Bon's Burgers, and it was slowly declining in success. Then the news of murders in the backroom destroyed what little was left. Sophie's tale plays out as it does.

After the dust settled, Bonnie and now sister Bernie were resalvaged, cleaned and transferred out of the building. The two rabbits would be signed over to Fazbear Entertainment co. so they wouldn't go to waste. Unlike the usual canon, "Banny" is there as the fifth member. Their old friends, whom were not so lucky, though, got scrapped by BSI entirely. Fredbear was the first working prototype of all the animatronics, and he just broke down over time from overuse, so he stopped appearing in shows at Fazbear's. "Natural causes." Although his husk was still tampered with by William shoving Cassidy inside. Springbonnie, the planned additional new character to Fredbear's would never actually see the light of day, and remained in storage. Michael and Joseph Afton would be born in the late '70s.

Things were going well at Fazbear's until the Bite of '87 happened. William Afton and ‘his’ poor family go through their personal drama which eventually led to Sister Location. And because Golden Fredbear had long been scrapped (the last bits left being his outer shell), Joseph gets forced into Foxy's mouth. This fatal incident results in Foxy getting separated from the band but not scrapped outright, as he was still popular with customers. He's kept in the backroom, but his merch is still available for everyone, and imagery in use. Foxy himself never wanted this, but regretfully had no way to express it on his own...he wasn't yet advanced enough to be aware. None of them were. It only got worse when William pretended to work there as an unofficial security guard and murdered the kids, which led to the events of FNAF 1. Charlie, aka the Puppet, was there to see him do this as the first victim; unlike the canon where Susie was said to be first. But Charlie didn't have the ability to give the gift of life in this story; she merely inspired the kids' own wills to live and come back through her agony. The fact that they were all somewhat ignorant of the issue at hand played a part in keeping them stuck where they were. It was all supernatural posession from a host of unfortunate victims of one terrible man...and come '92, Michael works as the nightguard of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria to try and get evidence to show it was William who ruined the lives of so many families...along with his of course. Additionally...he wants to do what he can to try and make up for what he let happen to his brother. Not only does he find the various videotapes that illustrate the torment that the kids have been going through while trapped inside the animatronics, but he gets chances to "speak" to them in the suits and get first hand explanations from all of the kids. (Throughout portions of this prologue text, I have a wide variety of youtube videos of the VHS tapes that so many immensely talented people have made,  and I interspersed them at spots that were the most relevant. I took those to use as flavour for the characters’ overall histories and important events that took place years before the theme park. It is supposed to be a more easygoing world, but the animatronics’ past is quite grim indeed, covered with the stains of old blood. And there’s a lot of casualties about. And of course, because Bernie is here in my story, she has no unique vhs tape of her own; there’s a bit she has with the main four’s tapes relating to something about how they’re tormented by Afton or how they deal with being ghosts inside robots. Just her own version of a creepy tape. If I only had my own programs and assets, I would make my own tapes, but some are so good and fit my universe’s story just as well. I don’t want to be ripping and stealing anything though, and I mostly only use these videos as pretext for what’s to come later, along with the motive of the main villain. Hope you can forgive the confusing idea of how I explain my worldbuiding for this orz)

While Michael is on the job, he figures out workarounds to the robots' habits and gains the trust of the childrens' spirits. Even while he was nearly mistaken for his ‘father’. He obtains enough irrefutable evidence to get William arrested, but William returns to the scene of the crime in an attempt to destroy the incriminating evidence. The kids in the suits all gang up on him, finally recognizing the one responsible for their deaths, and they put him inside the suit of an old, unused rabbit sitting in the backroom that never worked right. They let the spring locks do their thing. The kids think that's enough to get their revenge, but to everyone's shock, he possesses that animatronic in the same way and continues to try and destroy the restaurant. Now Michael and the children all work to eliminate William before he eliminates the building. A fire breaks out in the restaurant, and only Michael makes it out. It seemed that both parties got what they wanted; William destroyed the physical evidence and robbed the children of their ‘physical’ revenge, but Michael still has everyone's testimonies and copies of the evidence to show to the authorities and families of the lost children, so they can get karmaic revenge after all. In the end, good wins out because Michael stayed alive to see justice served on behalf of those children. All the animatronics with bodies stuffed inside them burn out, and the spirits of the children are finally able to pass on when they see what Michael did for them. Unbeknownst to everyone, remnants are left behind with the broken animatronics that don't act like echoes of agony, but more like blank slates; there are no children inside of them anymore. When they passed on, the effect of their supernatural influence grants the animatronics fresh new souls to call their own; it's like two computer files, the original with a title and full contents is put into a memory stick and taken outside of the computer. While the other is a copy left behind, emptied of its contents and the name changed, free to become whatever is desired. These clean templates belonging to the Fazbears lay dormant until the Fantastik Park company claims, salvages, and rebuilds them in 2009. They melt down their original parts to make pieces for brand new bodies, and that means their souls have vessels ready for them. The fire killed William Afton, and he goes to a hell afterlife to be forever punished. But he created a malicious character program to continue making things hard for people, acting as a traditional agony remnant; this one ‘lives’ on as Malhare (no, he is not named Glitchtrap here), a supernatural digital spectre that is comprised of code and William's raw mass of evil intent, and he can now use his unchecked glitchy agony as a spirit to ruin yet more lives as the big bad. For some reason, he has some of Afton's memories, but they are nothing more than scattered copies, and he has to learn over time that he's not really that guy; an awful lot like him, but not the same. The only ones that matter to him are Michael and the victims, but he can't find them. Malhare's attention goes to the animatronics the moment he hears rumours that they've come to life again. He possesses recruits two followers, and sets out to destroy Fantastik Park. Just a year later, in '93, Carol is born. Then later in 2011, Vanny is born. These two women have vastly different lives and temperaments, but they would eventually cross paths regardless of that. Carol, grown up, arrives to work as a night guard at the park as it pays very well for her engineering passion. Vanny of course, grows up to be a terrible diagnosed psychopath with an interest in serial killers and true crime. So she already idolizes William and gets immediately roped in as the sole willing recruit for Malhare to invade the park and get a body count of her own going, hand in hand with her beloved celebrity. Strangely enough though, she proves to be way more bloodthirsty than he ever was.

The Fantastik Park is a company that built an amusement park of the same name, and is Canada's equivalent of Disneyland. It has a nice creative variety of places to enjoy, like ‘Princesses' Dream’; where storybook themes abound and glitters with winter and mermaid aesthetics. ‘Portal to Tomorrow’ which is the scifi, neon space land with an educational twist and alien animatronics, because there's gotta be. It's very extra. There's also ‘Adventure Jungle’, which is a mixture of tropical wildlife and spaghetti western themes, a huge lake known as ‘Treasure Bay’ that isn't an accessible area but is decorated and connects some sections together, and ‘Celebration Lane’ which is the park's Main Street equivalent, but with food vendors and music from all kinds of cultures. There’s balloons and confetti everywhere! But the section with the most interesting story of all is Fazbears' Party, the horror-esque Haunted Mansion equivalent. Based off of the infamous legend of Freddy's Pizzeria and the Bite of '87. The designers were mainly old fans of the pizzeria, not the crime around it...however, an awful lot of funding and engineering support was provided by Fazbear Entertainment co, seemingly giving their blessings to go ahead with the project. Not so much a land as it is a large maze-like building recreating the discontinued restaurant brand with a bigger budget, it was made to be an escape room thriller attraction. The Fazbear robots would "pretend" to go haywire during a performance and chase the guests around in a big game of tag, and some guests could hide in the guard room and watch them on the security cameras. The reward for ‘surviving’ without getting caught by them was a fair discount on things to buy in the park. People thought it was very fun! ...But over time, the animatronics' souls woke up, and as they learned about the world around them, the automatons began doing some things of their own volition; saying things that the programmers were sure they didn't put in. History didn't repeat itself luckily, but people were getting afraid that it might, as more and more customers started to notice the robots doing things that gave off weird impressions. They actually learned from the customers' habits and kept changing their strategies, which would have been fine if the programmers intended it...but they sure didn't. People quickly avoided Fazbear's Party, and they even got wary of the other animatronics in other areas...sadly, there were plenty in all of them. The entire park is not abandoned, but fewer and fewer people want to go ever since the recent scare; they're slowly losing business. Then Malhare came to infect the whole area with his Malice Fog, a black mist that covers like a curtain (does not move like real fog!) and changed nearly everything within the space to become supernatural hazard zones. That only turned away more visitors. The only ones who did seem to go inside anymore were young idiots daring eachother, or vandals and criminals who thought they could take over the whole park. No matter what people’s reasons for coming now, none have any chance of surviving the two psychotic rabbits said to be hiding out somewhere in the park.

The park staff are desperate in needing help from anybody whom may be willing to step onto the grounds at all. Only one woman with a unique arm decides to step up to the plate...

The in-universe theme song for the ‘Fazbear’s Party’ attraction is TryHardNinja’s It’s Me, because I think it just fit so right for the concept of a performance in a theme park-ized fnaf. What did I tell you about all of the placeholders oh boy

i don't have premade ready to post designs/drawings for any cats so drawing out a whole book's cast of characters for one request isn't something i can reasonably do. that'd be hours and hours of work for a free request which isn't fair to me as the artist. you can certainly request a specific character from Mapleshade's Vengeance and i'll get to it when i get to it, but i don't have everyone ready and finished off the bat

literally the way it works in my mind is that katabay and (redacted) are two halves of a coherent idea, but sforcezco is completely separate bc it's the stuff I don't really want touching anything else I work on with the exception of Bad Governance, which is about 50-60% of a modern retelling of the fall of the republic condensed into about 6-ish years.

like this probably doesn't make a lot of sense, but I really value having separate spaces for things. I used to make separate spaces because I felt bad for struggling to hold long term interests, but I got over that and I found out that what I DO like is the kind of privacy that having less defined but still spearate spaces. sforzesco is the most formal of the three, katabay is the most casual, and (redacted) is somewhere between the two, but all of it gives me a kind of. privacy? I guess. its like going into different rooms. sforzesco is where I put on Going Outside Clothes, katabay is where I'm hanging out in sweatpants.

also it really cuts down on this defensive hostility I feel when people are Wrong about something like oh i hated seeing that in my notes. great news! I can fucking log out and post art somewhere else.

Okay, im afab. I think im growing kind of a bit of beard. I have a family history of pcos, so that could be a sign. Or it's just cause im fat -\/('-')\/-. Which can also technically be a sign of pcos /:<. But... i also don't really mind it??? Like, i don't really mind the idea of having a bit of a beard. I only mind it when i think about being asked questions or people being weird about it... Im still questioning my gender.... i like going by all pronouns, though. The only reason I haven't really expiremented with masculine things before is im afraid I'll look too much like my dad and mom will stop loving me. I know that's not well founded but just id hate looking in the mirror and seeing my dad. Mom used to say i look like if he was a girl. If im always feminine, it spearates me from him. I like dressing and being feminine, though. I just... like the idea of branching out. Although i don't like thinking about or looking at my body very much, and i dread the idea of going clothes shopping or trying new things. I'd rather wear my clothes until they fall apart than go to be quite frank. It's expensive anyway. I don't belong there. It's super uncomfortable. Also gender expression doesn't equal gender. I know that. Im still questioning, though. It very much makes me happy going by all pronouns, though. So i will always do that. I don't know..... i don't think i would really care if i had pcos. I do kinda wanna know if i have it, though. But i think that may require a blood draw, and i hate those. I wish i could live in a world where there was a character creator, and i could just switch different gender options and see what it's like. I don't hate my agab. But... im not sure i feel it. I don't know if i feel like a gender. And if that's the case, then... how would i explain that? My family will not understand. They are loving and amazing. But they do not understand. They do not question thier gender to the extent i have. For several years, i have. Im going to wait till im an adult. Cause when im an adult mabye, I'll feel a bit more free to do whatever. And mabye ill look in the mirror and come to a realization one way or another. Mabye, im lying and confusing myself. I don't know anymore. I gaslight myself on everything. I don't even mean to. I have gaslit myself multiple times into believing i don't have adhd cause my symptoms aren't always visible despite having an extensive history and diagnosis with it.

I was invited by Visit Qatar to explore what Qatar has to offer beyond football. After two amazing and very hot weeks of shooting, I have condensed hours of footage into a bite sized film with less than 3 minutes that you might hopefully enjoy. Check out stunning desert landscapes, breathtaking art installations, amazing beaches, oriental markets and a vibrant and futuristic urban capital. RAF Service Part 1 - 378 M.U. July 1945

I have visited the National Archives in Kew. It was fascinating, although not entirely sure what I was expecting, and so I did leave a bit disappointed and deflated.

The idea was to try and find out as much as possible about my grandfather's time in the British RAF. His military record, which I had obtained via government request, was lacking in any real detail, but it had listed the units he had served in during his deployment between 1945 and 1947.

This is what I learned about those units from National Archives documents.

At the final stages of WW2 (VE day having been declared a couple of months before), he was recruited into the RAF from "in the field". I am still investigating what "in the field" means and why he was in Italy in the first place.

The second line of his military record lists 378 M.U. No other details.

However, from a document obtained in the National Archives, this is what I have learned about Maintenance Unit 378.

The document itself holds a detailed account of the MEDICAL HISTORY OF THE WAR JUNE 1945. In a series of typed pages on incredibly thin and delicate typing paper, the document gives an account of a number of different inspections and activities at 378 MU throughout 1945.

There are three spearate monthly reports in this folder, MAY, JUNE and JULY 1945. My grandfather was there during July 1945, during which time it was recorded;

The increase in size of No.378 M.U. led to some overcrowding.

There are excellent facilities for recreation. At the local stadium ground, league and intersection games of football, cricket and hockey are played. A sports day was held during the month.

Keen swimmers are given facilities for training in Naples and with the sea 20 yards from the billets a large number swim locally.

Morale is good.

In Naples, with Mount Vesuvius as its backdrop, there is an airfield, a possible location for the work being undertaken by Maintenance Unit 378.

There also appears to have been a cookery school co-located with the maintenance unit which had been set up at Torre Annunziata.

From these medical reports, written between May and July 1945, you would not suspect a war was going on. They are practical, calm and without any real incident (a spitfire has to make an emergency landing - the pilot "sustained only minor abrasions and bruises"). The men are looked after by doctors and even a visiting dentist and there is plenty of food and water available.

This must have been in stark contrast to previous conditions, whether this was whilst he was interned or was making his escape. The welcome from the British RAF must have been a relief which in today's day and age it would be almost impossible to appreciate.

Other thoughts I have:

Traits that Ravenclaws either posses or value:

Fairness- this could also be interpreted as balance, and is valued for it’s part in decision making

Curiosity- this is seen as god-tier to Ravenclaws, because it’s a willingness to keep learning

Creativity-sometimes this doesn’t just just mean think outside the box, it could also be thinking about how to get outside the box in the first place

Wit- having sharp comeback on the tip of the tongue. Wit can also be interpreted as cleverness

Wisdom- few (school-aged) Ravenclaws actually possess wisdom, but are the sort of people who can recognize those who are wise
