I still think that if Marvel wanted a "Loki learns to accept and love himself through his variants" storyline, then it should've been with a proud Jotun version of himself. Like, if they wanted Loki to learn how to value himself, then make him talk and bond with a Loki who's already accepted the thing that led Loki to a path of deep self hatred in the first place.

BORING! Give me give me, um, tiny lost in a giant world fighting for survival! Give me tinies seeing giants as threats! Running away! Having their life in danger! Give me epic fantasy adventures involving beings of different sizes! Give me futuristic settings with giant aliens who are enemies or allies, give me different cultures between the sizes, and tinies or giants adjusting to new worlds! Give me human-turned giants who feel out of touch with their humanity as they're regarded as freaks or monsters. Give me humans finding secret fairy villages, humans finding secret giants in the forests, or even accidental city rampage!

Give me drama, conflict, angst, but most of all, give me giant/tiny adventures!

I dunno, I keep seeing people say that the "all according to Dazai's plan" twist in the season 5 finale is somehow different from all the other ones because he held "uncertain cards" and couldn't be sure that his allies would actually pull through.

But is that not exactly what happened in Dead Apple? Dazai runs off to play mind games with Fyodor and then fakes his death, all while trusting Chuuya to save him and the other ADA members (+Akutagawa & Mori) to handle the rest? He even said in the movie that he hadn't planned everything out and he just had to trust that Atsushi would be able to defeat Shibusawa.

To me that part of the finale just felt like Dead Apple 2.0, so I really don't buy that Dazai trusting his allies and not planning for every eventuality is anything new. I think that's just how he makes his plans.

The first meeting between Moiraine and Siuan is so cold. I don't have a better word for it, but look at how the only warm and caring gesture in it is used to stress how Siuan needs to meet Rand al'Thor. Everything went wrong there. I can't help but feel Siuan came to Cairhien to release Moiraine from her duties. And Moiraine knows that. As much as Siuan cares about Moiraine, her inability to channel makes her unable to perform the task at hand. "I've let you carry this burden for 20 years, love. You've given everything for it." That's just a polite way to say "you're fired". Siuan simply left her feelings in the carriage and invited Moiraine to inform her of the retirement. The sad part is, they were supposed to retire together. But even that was taken from them.

at the risk of sounding like a capitalist shill i'm gonna say i don't think 3 dollars is much to ask for for a comic book that only releases once a month. like 3 bucks a month to read a fully illustrated and colored comic book... AND you get to keep it forever and hold it in your hands. like if you enjoy reading it and have the means to go to the store and pick it up then i really just can't see why pirating would be necessary. it's only 3 dollars

"The lady Stoneheart is different from Catelyn Stark and lost something about herself when she became a zombie" is interesting to me because on one hand, it is explicit in the text that the fire-zombies loses a bit of something by Beric but Beric died six times and is an outlier, on the other, it's not unreasonable to think that, if she survived the red wedding, she would have done the exact same thing anyway.

She thinks all her children but Arya (because she is looking for her) were either murdered or forced to marry the enemy. Why wouldn't she go on a warpath and continue a rebellion against the people who are responsible while looking for her daughter at the same time ?

Plus, when you actually look at her arc in the books you can actually see how more and more vengeful she gets before even the red wedding (her thinking of Theon's death and Cersei's are two clear exemples of this).
