Today's list is: something I hate about every guy bc some of you tend to think I only hate on Arthur.

If they're talking over text then MC & Lev just have like 4 different conversations at once bc of the similarities/mental brain connections lead to more mental brain connections and

You CANNOT tell me that if MC mentioned the manga(s) they're reading to Levi, Levi would not ask or be curious or start rambling about his own mangas

So anyway Levi would probably also send MC silly manga panels & they just end up w/ multiple conversations happening at once bc of it (I have legitimately held 3 different conversations with one person at the same time over text bc of mental connections to other things)

I think Levi has like. Actual paper mangas tho so he'd probably find the manga he's reading online to take a screenshot of the silly panel, OR would just take a picture of the manga itself lol

honestly i love how i start doing some world building for an edit that takes like 20 seconds :')

anyways.. so, yknow that poe cup fic that scorpion recommended? the one where enid had to transfer bc nevermore didn't suit esther's standards and she changes bc of the environment?

Yeah, this is my au take on it. There's omegaverse themes but they're used to categorize the roles and builds of werewolves instead of smth sexual here. I meant it when i said i was delving into the more violent themes! so do watch out for those

now, you're probably asking, tie collar? muzzle? Bracers? what're those for?

Here's the thing, wolves don't use their claws to fight. They mainly use their teeth. As said in the photo, its usual for random physical spats to appear and teachers generally don't mind as long as it was to settle an issue and isn't just a waste of air.

There must be a motive in your attack, in your violence, else you are nothing more than a rabid animal and werewolves are supposed to be better than that.

So, the collar tie? its short on purpose so it wont be taken advantaged off in fights and is generally grabbed by the leader of your assigned pack for discipline. Its tie is clipped onto the collar so you can't suffocate like one does with an actual tie (since yknow, you pull it to make it tighter)

Its also easy to remove when a fight does happen

The collars of both the collar and shirt is purposefully high to make sure that no tempted werewolf can leave a mark around the neck and deal a fatal wound. Or in the very rare occasion, force a mating bite.

It isn't shown here but to even remove the collar, you'd need to flip the collar of the shirt and unbluckle it like a belt. it sounds easy sure, but when you're in a fight, it isn't so well executed. Its made purposefully hard to remove in a short amount of time and is rather durable against claws

The bracers are made of similar material! Their main purpose is to serve as a block against any surprise attacks, like how people in the police would train their dogs to attack but have an arm brace to protect their arm

its exactly like that!

My ass forgot to mention about the muzzle but they're there for students off campus! Since normies are still bigger in population, it's rather obvious that you're from that school. To keep them (normies) calm from the sight of outcasts, werewolves are told to wear the muzzles. The muzzles well.. Muzzle is long, so that means any posturing is cut short because distance is made from both werewolves. It's also there to make sure that a provoked werewolf in public can't do much harm other than scratch

Its mostly a publicity stunt but can be a disadvantage during fights or a punishment in general.

now, onto the dynamics of this school.

Omegas are usually the medics, and there's only one in a school issued pack. Betas are your scouts, they're your surveillance and info gathers, usually very flexible in roles but not as strong. You have like two to three! Lastly we have alphas, they're the ones taking the lead and the main physical prowess. There's only one in a school issued pack.

Now, you're probably wondering wtf? school issued pack? aren't you only supposed to have a pack with people you're closed too? Yes! that is true but this is a school, a private military school and teamwork is one of main values. Life isn't comfy and you'll need to learn to adapt with your coworkers whether you like it or not. If it helps, school packs only last for a semester unless they do really well in the finals. Only then will the school give an exception for the group to form again for the next semester

Now, you're probably wondering

where tf is enid in this au and why tf is she in this school?

Esther means well. I love a good ol esther is a horrible parent but she simply sounds like she grew up with her own values and tends to enforce it bc she's the mother and obviously she knows better. its irritating yes, but she seems easily influenced to more shadier practices as long as the end goal is met (which is enid shifting)

since the goal of enid shifting has already been met and the news broke that her daughter could've died due to nevermore and jericho's negligence, esther's mind latched onto Enid's growth as a werewolf and her safety.

Like other similar parents, she pulled her kids out. But murray argued otherwise, that surely nevermore will get better but esther wasn't so sure, not when theres a literal sign that her daughter was close to death stares right at her in the face (the scar)

so they compromised! Esther pulls enid out and her brothers get to finish their schooling.

In her search for better suited schools to help her lowkey socially behind in werewolf customs daughter, she stumbles across Werewolf military school and enrolls enid there

Obviously enid tried to argue, she's been in nevermore since she was thirteen! you can't just pull her out, not when she finally felt right. But mother knows best and enid is shipped to go through their second semester anyways

anywaysss, enid here imprinted on wednesday during that hug and so she's lowkey going through seperation anxiety during her time apart! She really could've fit in easily, her happy desposition and the way she acts would've landed her as a very valuable healer/omega but her imprinting leaves her agitated and easily provoked. Doesn't help that she's been bottling up her aggression at home and now that she's outside and in a new place...

well, what happens happens

because of this, she gets pegged as an alpha instead and with it comes responsibilities that enid can't ignore. Due to this, her needing to bleach her hair? ignored. Her colorful clothing? shoved to the side in favor for the uniform and the fact that with how physical the school is, she needs something more durable

overall, being an alpha is stressful and the fact that she's so far away from wednesday makes it worse (even if she doesn't know)

She goes through the school year in a daze, gains a reputation that she's too busy to acknowledge and finishes it with an aching in her lungs and new scars stinging along her body. She expect the same thing to happen for the new school year but something is different, there's news about an event and it has enid blinking

an.. international event? about outcast schools gathering for a tournament in the name of sportsmanship and connections

When she pushes herself to the front, for the first time in nearly a year, Enid Sinclair smiles

why? because in one of the schools listed to participate, Nevermore stands right with them

and with nevermore, comes the one Wednesday Addams that she's been longing for

also funfact! since this werewolf military school values privacy and exclusivity, no one is allowed to have their phone or similar esque gadgets during the school year. Want to contact your parents? You have to make an appointment with the school to call through a landline phone

its just.. so disheartening when Wednesday wasn't at all replying to her messages during the semester break. Her last few messages was when she complained about how she couldn't go back to nevermore and when that isn't enough to have her reply...

yeah

it didn't help different school means different starting of semester so enid could barely enjoy her week before she got shipped for her second semester

Enid has reached out to yoko, but the vampire has mentioned going off the grid due to a family vacation and she didn't want to bother her bestie with her distress. She's sure she's lowkey overreacting anyways, like it sucks to move schools but surely they could still keep in touch?

and honestly! enid thought she could've given her vampire friend updates during the school but then her phone gets confiscated and she gets swepted up with the rising stress and values of this school and-

yeah, she's been so busy that she forgot

its just this strict routine of waking up at this early time and getting back at this late time

the only reason wednesday couldn't leave her mind is the imprinting and the feeling of being abandoned and how little their friendship must've been for her not to reply. But then Enid smacks herself bc ofcourse not! there's no way, wednesday just sucked at using a phone is all

..right?

oh whatever, its hard to think much when theres a fist going towards her face anyways

omg eddie and gareth going to nantucket to see farrah and nepo is so sweet. farrah and gareth are off doing whatever and eddie and nepo continue their teasing and sex. but he actually has a super nice time, indulging in the small touches that neither of you really notice.

thinking about them walking around and there’s a lost little girl. eddie scoffs about the ignorance of some parents, how they need to be there, but by the time he looks at nepo, she’s kneeled beside her. eddie’s like wtf, but sees how quickly she calms the little girl down, helping her scan the crowds until a couple comes up to take her.

it doesn’t click for him till much later, but the rest of the day, he couldn’t stop thinking of that interaction. even after nepo fell asleep from an intense fuck, he’s staring at the ceiling and thinking about how gentle she was.

also if eddie overheard the way her parents spoke to her and how snappy she was the rest of the day. he wanted to whip the brat into shape, but he tried being nice, giving nepo a 180° because why is he being nice.

I’m gonna sob.

he goes to see them and it’s under the guise of gareth wants to see farrah, and eddie wants to fuck.

they still fuck all nasty and mean, but he can’t help but feel a little wrong lol? like the house is gorgeous and he’s got feelings. especially when they’re sleeping in the same bed together.

she takes him down to the water to prove that east coast beaches are better in the summer, and the little girl incident happens. eddie’s very scared mainly bc he has like real ass feelings. he hasn’t had feelings for anyone, like genuine ones, since he moved to la. he’s suddenly seventeen again, crushing on trina higgins his first senior year. and it scares the living shit out of him.

and now, he feels like the biggest loser alive bc he still tries to have this mean sex with her, but especially after her he eavesdrops on her parents conversation and hears how mean they are and how upset she is, he can’t help but have feelings??? oh god, he’s feeling.

so he’s trying to be all mean but it’s just not authentic anymore. they end up having a kinda weird hookup before he leaves and for a second, he’s sure he’ll never hear from her again. but he does when she comes back.

they have a sort of blow up “what the fuck is going on with you?” fight and that’s when eddie kinda admits he likes her differently. that’s when things really change.

she’s feeling the same way bc while she was sweet and gentle there, so was he. he was nice to the little girl who got lost, not a dick or an asshole, genuinely trying to help and be nice. and he was funny and could be sweet sometimes, and it got to her 🫶

Full house au roommate notes pt 2

Alright, here's the second part to this post. It'll also involve a few random side notes and headcanons and whatnot

As usual, this will contain spoilers for my full house au

Ok so as I said this part is mostly about the kids. There are 7 of them split up into 3 rooms, so they had to be split 2/2/3, with one room having a bunk bed instead of a second single-person bed. They were originally planning to put all the girls together since, y'know, numbers, as well as what I said in the last part about the parents not wanting boys and girls to share rooms*

*I wanted to sort of expand on this for a moment. Personally I think it's silly- and kinda gross tbh- to suggest boys and girls can't share rooms or to assume that something would happen if they did, but it felt like a realistic thing for parents of teens to take issue with in a situation like this, considering their generally heteronormative culture. I know mine would have, lol.

Of course everyone's different about it, but those who didn't think it should matter (Joyce, Karen, Susan) didn't think it was worth arguing with those who did (Hopper, Ted, the Sinclairs). Hopper was particularly against coed rooming, since Mike was part of the equation (he's a little behind lol, mileven is not together in this au; they broke up pretty much right after the events of s4), and the Sinclairs mainly didn't want Lucas rooming with Max. Claudia didn't care either way.

As for the guardians of the "adults" (aside from Nancy & Jon, whose parents I've already talked about), they either don't care, since their kids are grown, or weren't even involved (the Harringtons are left out of the loop and don't know about any of this and I don't know if Argyle even has parents). The Buckleys are pretty chill in general and Wayne has never been one to tell his nephew what to do

However, they decided against this arrangement for Erica's sake, since she doesn't really know the other girls all that well yet, and we ended up with the actual roommate pairings, as follows

Erica, Lucas, and Dustin are roommates, since E & L are siblings, L & D are longtime friends, and E & D have more history than she has with the others (s3). I also intentionally placed these 3 on the same floor as Eddie and Steve, since those two are familiar with and important to the boys and since Steve is the "adult" Erica knows the best. (Dustin may not have an older sibling to share a floor with like Mike Will El and Erica but he does have his dads). Basically it's the Scoops Troop floor, but with Eddie & Lucas instead of Robin

That left Max and El to be roommates, which they were both thrilled about- M told E it would be like having a sleepover every night, and that they should put up a "no boys allowed" sign on their door just to piss the boys off. Protective dad Hopper enthusiastically agreed with this idea and didn't catch his daughter rolling her eyes

I also put Robin & Nancy on the same side as Max & El so they share a bathroom; seemed like that would be preferable to sharing one with the guys (not to be sexist or anything but this way the ladies don't have to deal with piss on the toilet seat or awkward questions about the "feminine hygiene products" in the cabinet. Which reminds me- did anyone ever explain to El wtf a period is??? Bc I highly doubt the Hawkins lab kids had any sort of health education and usually that's something your mom would teach you about. Idk I might address that at some point. But also- if any of the girls are having shark week problems and Robin or Nancy isn't available, they go to Eddie. I haven't decided if he's out to them but either way they know they can count on him for that sort of thing)

And then there's Mike and Will. I'm pretty sure they were always going to room together, regardless of what I had to do with organizing everyone else, because they've been practically inseparable ever since the Byers reunited with the Hawkins crew. Sharing a room is comfortable, familiar, after their years of childhood friendship. And, again, I made sure to place them on the same floor as their siblings; Nancy is diagonal to Mike, and Will is two doors down from Jon and just across the hall from El

I think that's about it for the roommate notes, the next segment might be closer looks/design details of individual rooms. Nobody asked for it but I'm having fun, so. Yeah >:3

Imagine Miggy's spider instincts make him want to nom anyone who's caught or wrapped up in webbing (especially his webbing, but really seeing someone caught in any spider's webbing will trigger the impulse). Thoughts on that concept?

Perhaps awkward moments when he's working with a team to catch bad guys/anomalies and he gives in to the impulse - how would other spiders react? (Do any other spiders have a similar impulse?) :D

Also I love this idea!! Leaning into the more spidery aspects are always super duper cool.

I think Miguel would try to hide it at first and he does a good job at it. Even though there’s always this tug in his stomach when he sees an anomaly all wrapped up in his webs, he’s got the self control to ignore it. no matter how much his instincts insist for him to scoop up the prey he caught and gulp them down, he most likely won’t do much other than linger on the thought for a bit. Of course, this doesn’t make his instincts happy in the slightest. After all, he caught that prey, it was his catch >:( so why can’t the spider eat its well deserved meal?? I feel like they’re even more intense if the anomaly is paralyzed via his fangs too.

If he neglects his instincts for too long they simply grow louder and louder until he can barely take it anymore and has to do something to soothe them or release pent up energy. He’s had a few instances where he’s started drooling slightly seeing a webbed up anomaly without him noticing. It’s always awkward for a spider person to have to point it out to him so he tries to stay mindful of it. Sometimes his fangs leak venom when he’s seriously neglected his instincts, ie not letting himself build a web-cocoon near the suspended part of his office, acting more spidery per se etc. it gets even worse when he’s exhausted because then he doesn’t have the energy to really suppress them either.

In terms of reactions I think Hobie would be quietly surprised. And there’s not a lot that can seriously get this dude to genuinely be shocked. Unless he’s seen Miguel do it before I think he’d be overall a little freaked out and concerned. Even though he’s usually calm and collected (but he’s not afraid to show his emotions) he’d be at least a little stunned seeing Miguel swallow an anomaly like a snack. Probably has a lot of questions but mainly just wants to know how Miguel even does that. Just another thing to add to his list of ‘my not-boss’s weird quirks’.

I think Gwen would be worried bc ‘is the anomaly…still alive?? How does that even work wtf’ and also a little creeped out at first since I don’t think she’d have those sort of instincts. I’m sure she’ll kinda just accept it after a while although she can’t really stop herself from getting the heebie jeebies from watching miguel indulge in his spider Side more. I feel like she’d say something like “ oh — OH, um. That’s — okay, yeah I guess you’re doing that I — wow. Okay,” when she first sees him nom someone. God forbid she herself has to get nommed, she’d be both horrified and morbidly fascinated.

I think Peter b and Jess would’ve known beforehand considering how they’re considered to be the two people he can rely on the most/ his right hand spider people. Peter might have the instincts too so he’d probably understand but Jess?? I feel like she’d stare at Miguel for a full ten seconds and just walk out of the room to process. But since Miguel feels the most comfortable around them in the beginning, it’ll probably become something kinda a little bit common?? Like he definitely won’t nom an anomaly every single time he’s got a mission with them but he’ll do it more often since he knows they understand.

miles? He’d scream. Like one of those high pitched ones. It’s a complete reflex and he genuinely doesn’t mean to but omg he just watched this giant dude swallow someone whole like a mozzarella stick. He’d definitely get wary and or a little weirded out at first. Also completely apprehensive bc ‘wtf this dude could’ve genuinely just ate me while he chased me on a goddamn train thst’s terrifying’. Actually Miguel might have nommed miles had he managed to web him up, considering his heightened panic and instincts, clouding his logic.

I think Pavitr would also scream, and like stare blankly at Miguel or just full on gape openly. Finding out that your spider-boss-mentor eats people alive then spits them out later because of spidery instincts is a bit of a jarring discovery for sure. He’d definitely have tons of questions tho once he gets over his shell shocked state. He’s pretty young and has only gotten his watch pretty recently so I think that he wouldn’t really be too exposed to all the different dimensions of spider people and all of their odd little quirks so he’s def gonna be curious. Or like when Gwen manages to web up an anomaly by herself, she turns away for half a second to check if hobie’s chucks are still laced up tightly, before turning around and — oh look. The anomaly has disappeared. Wow, where’d they go. And then Miguel is just standing off to the side, face completely impassive as if he did not just nom someone at the speed of light. or during training Miguel is trying to teach some of the spider kids a few new tricks/moves, one of them ends up getting tangled up in his webs/ wrapped up and he noms them. And then that turns into some sort of tag game except Miguel is it and if you get eaten ur out. Sort of like a training exercise.

on one hand it's a challenging task, on the other, i could never rate a cat lower than 10/10. that's a cat. it's cat shaped. it will be 10/10

but as a small run down:

Lord Rivera. 20/10. So shapped. Extremely wise. The smartest of the bunch and the one who knows how to take the time to think. Voiced by Keiji Fujiwara (aka Eugen's va) before he died, which means i will forever be crying about it.

Lord Mukuta. 30/10. He was one of my favorite ones when i read the Many Lives of Cats. He's definitely the coolest of them. a good head on his shoulders, wise, but not overbearing. Voiced by Reinhardtzar's VA which brings me so much joy.

Lord Vapaus. 12/10. This one mainly stood out to me for having the funniest lines in the localizations (like "rat got your tongue?" and stuff like that). Curious and Direct, but he didn't leave as much of an impact on me as the others.

Lady Aselia. 15/10. she's so sweet and kind. Very considerate and calm, even if her anger can be a sight to behold. She is so elegant too. Look at her. isn't she perfect.

Lady Afaka. 14/10. Most out of touch of the kitties. Laid back and easy going. I remember firmly that one scene in The Many Lives of Cats when all the cats are in crisis because they've been kidnapped and she is like "i've found something!" and everyone turns to her thinking she has found a way out or something, but instead she lies in a hole and purrs because that's what she found. "that's such a good hole." cut to the others cats, jaded, wondering why they even thought Lady Afaka would actually focus for two seconds. She's fantastic.

Lady Mew Mew. 10000000/10. She's the best. She's a mew mew. She means the world to me. She's so tiny. She has 0 understanding of what's going on around her. Head empty. Who needs thoughts when you can get pats. Will never forget how she got mad that others cats were clinging on Sen while trying to escape a certain water death bc "wtf are you all doing on MY Cuddle buddy èwé" like miss Mew Mew the room was easy to read but she can't fucking read. She's so baby. I adore her.

Lord Young Cat. 25/10. He's so cute and great. Feral little buddy who's learning to enjoy love and care. truly THE Meow meow, the rebel, the hero.

Freiheit. 11/10. I admit i didn't read Dante's SSR FE so i don't know him, but he's shapped, he's a battle cat, he looks fun. He seems amazing so he deserves good pats and praise.

BONUS not a Dante's Cat but one of the cats from The Many Lives of Cats that deserve mention:

Lord Torajiro. 17/10. he's a good cat. He's so so good. Like he committed atrocities, but it's because he loved his owner so much, and it makes him the ultimate Poor Pathetic Little Meow Meow. I cried so hard because of him. I hope he can enjoy the rest of his days with his owner just fine.

wait you HATED sweet pool omg. its my least fave out of the n+c releases ive read so far mainly for how flat the characters felt to me and how clumsy a lot of the plot felt but i rlly loved the aesthetic/general vibe it had so thats rlly interesting to me,if ur up for it id love to know what didnt click for u ^_^

when i judge how bad a VN is with my brother (avid VN reader as well) we use Sweet Pool as a basically "zero" on the scale of professional, large VNs.

Sweet Pool's writing was WEIRD. I can do some weird, thats fine. Weird ass-birth stillborn meatslugs? ... okay, ill... look past that. ok i wont lie, the constant ass-birth was hard for me. i really did try to not judge it on that but like, there was almost constant buttbirth going on. ive made peace with this by now, kinda making a link to myself about the connections of it to being an unintentional trans narrative in many ways and all but like. it was WEIRD. and kinda hard to read. it didnt strike me as horror, it struck me as "weird fetish i have to sit through. oh my god is he licking tha- PUT IT DOWN Z-DAWG. Ok christ."

The characters were also weird. I laughed out loud in surprise at how stupid the "i saved you from being raped <3 SO I CAN RAPE YOU, PSYCH!" scene was. like wtf was that??????

i did not enjoy the art style, i think its the ugliest N+C art style yet and since. not my thing. many angles and proportions look weird. the CGs looked stiff and uninspired. it NEVER grew on me. no shade to people who liked it or the artist it just.. wasnt my thing. not unbearable but just. not. as good as it could have been and def took away from the experience.

i didnt like any of the endings. it wasnt scary it was weird. the pacing was weird. for being a BL, it had very little love just... wtf. and im so sad abt what they did to mikoto bc i liked him before uuuUuUuUu yandere plot twwwwist. bleh.... dollar store keisuke! they would FORCE the true end so you maybe go, "maybe the true end is satisfying and good an-" no. its not. fuck yoU!

sweet pool was painful. i dont know how else to put my experience. i 100%d it because i 100% everything when i can, and i was literally pushing through like a hiker in a snow storm to finish it. every 3 seconds was secondhand embarrassment. the "jerking off in the classroom" scene comes to mind. i got up and took a break for that one because it was just unbearable. idk how anyone could slap one out to this vn. im not sure if anyone ever has. which makes the sex weird. actually, i dont think there was a single consensual ero scene unless u count the true end fusion scene.

the aesthetic/vibe was... ehhh... not super unique IMO. school setting immediately put me off, a more gritty and cool toned, dark palate made things interesting but, its still a "weird thing happens in high school" story. kinda bored to death of HS settings in VNs.

i did like the protag tho! he was interesting and it was nice having a chronically ill protag even if it was just a plot device to make him be able to miss school while going on a... dark apartment birth marathon.

sweet pool felt like a bizarre, amateur fanfiction for a fetish i dont have.

the soundtrack is very memorable as well as the opening pre-game sequence, i liked the concept of the choice button meanings, but they were very rough in actual use.

this is my favorite CG i appreciate the aquarium set up instead of a fish bowl (though he could do better...)

(shame about them turning into meat popcorn tho...)

i liked the iguana lol

i didnt care about these guys so much i dont even remember their names most of the time. except zenya. i liked him cus hes so cute and batshit crazy and has intersex swag.

it's so funny tho from Hancock's pov bc you know you're a ghoul you live in a radioactive wasteland it's Whatever You've Seen Some Weird Shit! there's roaches the size of small children there's Fucking Deathclaws etc

-I imagine that after being isolated for so long, ofc Basil is touch starved but he's also very jumpy and anxious about it, and we all know Kel is probably all over every1 all the time so! It's a slow process

-Kel is actually surprisingly gentle (he's not as dumb as he acts), and he's the main one who slowly gets Basil more accustomed to positive physical touch

-(Also AU where everything is okay after good ending bc I SAID so !!!!)

-It mainly starts as like an arm around the shoulder, bumping shoulders or legs, ruffling hair, etc.

-As Basil gets more comfortable and confident they start initiating as well (which makes Kel so happy bc Basil has made sm progress and he's so proud of him wtf)

-Bc Basil also has a really hard time asking for it

-Slowly Kel kinda re-introduces tickling as a form of affection bc they all used to do it a lot when they were younger just as a form of play and whatnot and Basil was especially fond of it (mainly being on the receiving end)

-And Basil sort of picks up on the fact that that's still one of Kel's love languages (platonic and not, they mainly see him and Hero engage in tickle fights and it makes them feel very warm bc. they really are the same kids :( )

-The tickling thing takes even longer but Kel notices that when Basil initiates/is more clingy he never tries to get away from Kel's mindless fidgeting with his clothes and what not (<- ADHD haver) even tho Kel notices their quiet exhales and smiles

-Anyway they spend quite a lot of time together after Sunny moves, and naturally Basil takes a bit longer to get accustomed to Aubrey's company (but he does eventually dw)

-So Kel is his main support a lot of the time, and Polly LOVES Kel so it's never a problem when he comes over often (he gets into the habit of helping her w dinner whenever he stays late bc he is silly)

-And ofc Basil is very welcome in Kel's house, he's a bit more hesitant at first bc Kel's parents can be a lot but he loves playing w Hector and he's surprisingly good w babies

-ANYWAY !!!

-Ofc Basil still struggles w their mental health a LOT but they see a therapist once a week, and they're on medication that helps stabilize his moods well and let the hallucinations subside and whatnot

-But he really isn't a fan of the dark

-Whenever the two have sleepovers they fall into the habit of falling asleep holding hands or touching somehow as a form of comfort, and Kel always tries to make sure a closet light or small lamp is on

-Nightmares also aren't rare for Basil unfortunately

-So. one of the first times comfort tickles happen is during a sleepover; they try to have them at least biweekly, switching off houses and sometimes Aubrey tags along too when she can

-The two are just relaxing together on Kel's bed, w the lights off but his bedside lamp on

-He scrolls through his phone w his arm around Basil, who has their arms wrapped around his waist and is laying their head on his chest

-Kel is just rambling about whatever, laughing at the videos and stupid memes coming up on his feed and just filling the silence in a way he knows comforts Basil

-(Forgive me but I am going to project bc I am writing most of this based off experience NNJSCS)

-Except Basil is having one of those moments where he begins to space out, dissociating somewhat but not quite

-At first Kel doesn't notice because he's used to Basil going quiet and just sort of listening

-But when he goes to glance at Basil while showing him a goofy ass photo he found, he notices their eyes have kinda glazed over and they're just staring at nothing while still laying on his chest/side

-So he gently goes "Basil?" and they blink really fast and come back for a moment, going "O-oh, sorry."

-Kel is like "It's okay! Is... something wrong?"

-Basil goes quiet for a moment, letting out a hum to let Kel know he heard him, and then he quietly responds "I'm... not sure. I just feel... weird."

-Kel nods and responds again with "That's okay." A tad calmer than he normally would because he knows he needs to be a bit more gentle now, "Is it bad brain stuff again?"

-Basil nods and their eyes are still partially unfocused due to the disassociating

-He just sort of tucks his face into the crook of Kel's neck and his voice is muffled as he says "Sorry..."

-Kel sets his phone down and hugs Basil back, squeezing him for comfort

-He goes "You don't have to be sorry, Bas. Is there, uhm, anything I can do to help?"

-Basil goes quiet for a moment again, before slightly untucking his face to respond "The hugging helps…"

-So Kel just nods and keeps Basil close

-Their positions shift a tiny bit as Kel moves from having his back to the wall to facing sideways so him and Basil are facing each other

-He's got his arms around their waist and their arms are bent so they're pressed into his chest along w their head

-Kel has a hard time just sitting still so at first he sorta rubs comforting circles into Basil's back, but once he stops that his hands drop down and he just kinda fiddles w the edge of their pajama shirt around their lower back

-(Y'all can see where this is going)

-Everyone and their mom knows Basil is the most ticklish of the group by far like. Come on

-So he sort of starts squirming a bit and lets out a huff and at first Kel doesn't notice bc he's sorta daydreaming

-But Basil squeaks a little when Kel's fingers brush underneath his t-shirt around the sides of his back and Kel sorta snaps out of it

-Basil lets out a quiet whine bc. He's comfy and he's trying not to squirm but the feather light touches are SO bad for them

-Kel quietly (as quiet as he can be, being Kel) goes "Oh! My bad, hehe..." and stills his hands again bc he doesn't know if Basil is in the right headspace (ba dum tss) for tickling

-But Basil buries their face even deeper into his neck (if that's even possible, and Kel can even feel how hot his face is from the blush) and mumbles out "Can you... keep, uhm- y'know..."

-Kel smiles softly and goes "Tickling you?" like as a genuine question but Basil squeaks a bit at the word bc he's a DORK. And he's feeling really soft, and wants a distraction from the nasty brain moment

-Plus the sensations are honestly kinda grounding like it sorta brings their attention back to his body

-Anyway they nod slightly and Kel goes "Liiiike... this?" in a slightly teasy voice and lightly drags the tips of his fingers up the sides of Basil's back, making them yelp and fall into bubbly giggles

-He lets out an embarrassed "Kel!" bc of the teasing and Kel just can't help his fond smile

-"Mmhm?" He hums softly but still teasingly, not actually expecting a response

-Basil just keeps softly tittering in response, clinging to the front of Kel’s shirt to have something to hold on to

-While they aren’t a huge squirmer (unlike Kel, who will flail and kick very hard), Basil is definitely very jumpy, and that got a lot worse after everything that happened; so try as he might, his body still isn't great at handling the sensations

-This is why they’re grateful Kel is pretty strong because he makes sure Basil doesn't accidentally leap out of his lap LMAO

-Kel just can't keep the huge dorky smile off his face bc like I mentioned before tickling is like a big love language for him he LOVES physical touch, plus being able to make the ppl he cares abt smile/laugh means so much to him

-He tries to keep the tickling relatively tame since this is meant to help ground and relax Basil, and they've never really been a fan of rough tickles anyway (their tolerance for it is very low if at all)

-So Kel just continues to trace random shapes and lines around Basil's lower back, sometimes straying to his sides and upper ribs which makes his giggling much louder (I'm telling you this kid is TICKLISH like all caps)

-They don't talk much aside from Kel's occasional compliments/comments, like "Heh, I forgot how ticklish you are here!" or "Are you alright? You look like a strawberry!'

-Which of course Basil can only respond to with either higher pitched giggles, "Nohoho!"s, or a squeaky "Kel!"

-After a little bit (they don't know how long they aren't paying attention), Basil's giggles start to taper off and Kel feels them relaxing more and more

-So in turn he tapers off the tickling, just resting his hands on Basil's back to make sure he's okay

-Kel goes "...Bas?" in a soft but loud enough voice, and all he gets is some sort of "Mhhh…" noise in response, so he grins, because that means Basil is like falling asleep

-Kel removes his hands from under Basil's pajama shirt, rubbing it firmly over the fabric to make sure the tingly sensations have subsided before adjusting himself to move Basil's face off of his chest

-He feels all fuzzy when he sees Basil's super drowsy expression; they still have a small smile as they look up at him half asleep and their features aren't nearly as darkened and tense as they were before

-Kel goes "Ready to sleep?" And Basil just responds with another sleepy noise and a nod, letting his head fall back onto Kel's chest

-Kel adjust both of then so that they're laying down properly, making sure to bring the blanket up over them both before squeezing Basil slightly while they're cuddled together

-He nuzzles his face in to the top of Basil's head and it doesn't take long for him to conk out

-Basil takes a tad longer to fully fall asleep, but he listens to the sound of Kel's slowed breathing and thinks about how they can't wait to wake up tomorrow next to one of their best friends

Also im so vexed rn hope u don't mind me word vomiting but I've been on genshin for like 1.5 years now and so far the community has been amazing. There's so many shit labels on it which I never got because people are so nice! Most people anyway..

So today I was doing my weekly bosses, I usually co op them because idk I enjoy it more than doing it on my own. So I entered this persons world to fight shogun, they picked scara, I was yelan, someone else was chongyun i fink and there was a hu tao.

I would've changed to a healer (Idm playing healer to fill in the slot and it feels more comfy having a healer or shielder on the team or else everyones spamming sweet madame 😭) but they started the domain before I could change so eh. I literally typed in chat "rip healer" and all 3 of them came at me as if I was crying about it... I made one statement and they were like 🙄🙄🙄🙄 ur yelan tho lol does it really matter (bc she scales on hp so I have like 32k). If there's a hu tao and yelan why tf do u need a healer. No joke, they responded SO AGGRESSIVELY to that one statement.

At that point I was a bit :/ but i stayed quiet bc whatever let's just do the boss and go. Hu tao died within the first 5 seconds lol bc they were on like 100 hp and loaded in before they could even react. So that's one down!! Then we're playing, raiden is doing her thing and our hp is melting. I'm spamming food to keep my yelan alive (lowkey I get mad anxiety when my chars are at low hp I could never play hu tao djdbf) whilst attacking.

Shogun does her one shot move and we couldn't get the shield up in time. Somehow I'm the only one who died?? Anyway I was like "..." in the chat bc idk how I was the only one who died. And then they were onto me like thats on u thats ur fault why would u do that and I was like... am I missing smth here wtf is going on why are they getting rude to me for no reason 😭

And I typed in oh why was I the only one to die and they were like do you not know how to play, have u never done this before, are you blind, the shield didn't activate for any of us

Then I typed yeah ik but the shield didn't activate so why was I the only one to die. No one else did

And then they keep getting onto me so I fr went girl calm urself why u getting this pressed over a game dfkm 😭

And then they (it was mainly the host at this point) were like lol actually im very calm and carried on

Then I was like yh ur calm, just rude apparently

At that point I was mad pissed and just abandoned the challenge and left the world. They said smth like "LOL why you so pressed that im not being nice to you"

Bitch 💀 don't be nice to me, but that doesn't mean you need to get rude to me. Man thats the one and hopefully only bad experience I've had on genshin but I'm fr so mad about it like damn who hurt u. Sitting behind a screen and getting enjoyment out of this 😭

Which characters in Asoiaf novels are the most similar to Aegon ii in ur opinion? When i read fire & blood for the first time i got the impression that he is like Robert lmao. But after some time i read the book again and now i feel he shares alot of similarity with theon, like how they have been neglected by their fathers , their fathers preferred their sisters over them (Asha/rhaenyra) , they are deeply insecure and care about what others think about them but they mask it with arrogance. Both seek the love/validation of others (mainly their fathers), both are lustful and they suffered greatly physical and mentally. I can go on about how similar they are at least in my interpretation of their characters but that's would be enough. Now i feel they trying to make Show Aegon a second joffery or a second ramsay and that's a very poor choice

100% agree with this correct comparison literally the only comparison between got&hotd characters that is right anon I am kissing you on the mouth rn. aegon is (almost) nothing alike to joff and ramsey bc those characters revel in sadism and tyranny whereas egg 2 has none of that. they have none of the deep insecurity egg has (although ramsey has it with being his lordly father's bastard but whatever it just isn't the same). and aegon is specifically said to love his family so much e.g. he orders for statues to be erected for both of his brothers and is specifically mentioned to order all historians to only ever acknowledge alicent and helaena as queens and no one else etc. do you think joff or ramsay would EVER do this for their families? absolutely not wtf are ryan and miguel smoking. the theon comparison is 100% right and the only correct comparison EVER <3

Before I'll watch this long Sam vod I wanted to talk about something that I was reminded of while thinking abt the whole Sam Bucket/Sam Regular thing

Let me take you back to Minecraft Youtube circa 2015-2018. But not regular old English-Speaking Countries Minecraft Youtube, oh no. German Minecraft Youtube.

At the time, modded minecraft lets plays were all the rage, literally no one was playing the vanilla game and the idea of minecraft roleplaying was starting to crop up as well. It was quite different from dsmp mainly because it was all youtube videos and no (story-driven) streams, there were typically only 2-4 people actually playing on a server with other characters being npcs added in by mods and they tended to be a lot more structured overall with less of an improvised vibe

Now, I wanna talk about a thing that happened in probably my favorite one of these gmcyt series made by my favorite youtubers at the time: Fusionfall by Chaosflo44 and Arazhul_HD (Im calling them Flo and Roman from this point on bc idk i'd feel kinda weird if I didnt considering they only ever used their youtube titles in an ironic way lol)

Before I properly get into it though, I need yall to know that their minecraft series in particular, wether they were together or playing alone, always felt a lot like watching a playthrough of a really mediocre rpg where literally all there is to do is do boring and convoluted fetch quests mixed with minecraft. Like, these series were usually 100 episodes long and like 80 of them were always just these two guys doing a fetchquest and then dicking around and building while answering twitter questions or smth.

This was another one of those episodes were they were building some shit for their bases while telling childhood about detention or other school related stuff. Now, the way these series were structured was basically that they would both film a first episode from both povs and then only Roman would do a second one and then only Flo would do a third one and so on. This one was from Flos pov and at one point Roman was telling a pretty long story and every once in a while he would come into Flos base to get resources for his base and they would gesticulate in-game so Roman wouldnt have to interrupt the flow of his story. Then he finishes his story and asks Flo if he could get some resources and hes like "wtf do you mean, youve been taking shit from me the whole time" but Roman tells him that hes been working on his base and never left, what the fish is he talking about. So then they kinda argue back and forth and at some point Roman comes into Flos base again and he punches him and tells him to leave to which Roman is once again like "i dont know wth youre on about man" and when Flos like "you are literally in my house right now" he tells him that hes not and hes coming over. Now theyre arguing about that bc Roman is obviously at Flos house except he isnt, except he is. Or is he?!?!? Anyway, Roman is hanging out at Flos place for a moment while he yells at him and then. another Roman enters the building. and theyre literally identical, down to their gear Im pretty sure

And thats when my brain cuts off. I have no idea how this got resolved and frankly I dont ever want to know its so delightfully creepypasta-esque Im in love

So yeah thats that, now its dream smping time again

please tho............ me being an inspiration is A Lot purely bc i’m just some guy AJSKDKMD BUT I REALLY DO APPRECIATE HEARING IT LIKE,, I’M VERY FLATTERED. i just like being able to explore all kinds (besides the really fucked up kind. y’all know. so behave. KMAKMSKM) of topics through writing because, honestly, it’s just really fun! i like being able to, hmmmmm, maybe “spread” the fun of doing so? if that makes sense? it’s just really interesting to see, especially with a muse like kira-- he’s probably one of the weirdest yet most fascinating characters i’ve written in a hot second honestly

so, deadass, that’s just soooo cool x2 LFKMGKMF IT’S JUST... IT JUST IS. i like knowing when people can feel more confident to branch out and try new things with their writing!! variety is the spice of life, after all. 😤✊
