Yo, I have theories of when Harry Osborn will show up in the Tom!PeterParker Movieverse

Warning: This (long-ass) post contains MAJOR fucking SPOILERS on:

Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Spider-Man: No Way Home (Movies)

Venom (Movie)

Marvels’ Spider-Man, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales (Video Games)

Resident Evil: Afterlife, Resident Evil: Retribution (Movies)

Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 5 (Video Games)

Tom Holland is rising in popularity due to his adorable personality & his accurate potrayal of Marvel’s Spider-Man. What I’ve noticed is that when Marvel Studios decides to make a movie about a central/titular character of their’s, they always give them 3 movies each:

(excluding Hulk, Black Widow, & Doctor Strange since they only have 1 released movie to their name thus far; & also the Wanda & the Hawkeye shows).

However, since Tom Holland’s potrayal of Spider-Man has “ended”, with his 3rd titular movie having just been released last December, there is still an important question left. How come Tobey!Peter (2002), Andrew!Peter (2012), Lizard Connors (from TASM1), Doc. Oc (from SM2), Electro (from TASM2), Sandman (from SM3), & the Green Goblin (from SM1) got to face Tom!Peter, & not Venom (from SM3)?

But here’s the catch! At the end-credits of SMNWH, TomHardy!EddieBrock was actually shown to have aslo been transported to Tom!Peter’s Universe in a random bar. But before being fully sent back to his own universe by Doctor Strange, TomHardy!EddieBrock left Venom, the black alien parasite symbiote, behind. IN. TOM!PETER’S. UNIVERSE!

So here comes the person that made you read this post in the 1st place. I have a theory that Harry Osborn will be Venom in Tom!Peter‘s Movieverse. Why? Because Harry actually becomes Venom in the video games; it was shown in the ending of MSM (2018) & the mid-credits scene of MSMMM (2020) that a black substance (which looks eerily similar to the Venom symbiote) was attaching/engulfing a terminally-ill Harry.

Now, you might be thinking that just because something happens in a video game, doesn’t mean that it will be adapted to the movie. However, don’t just cut that possibility out. Similarly, the RE Movies were heavily inspired/loosely based on the RE Video Games that were created 1st. Although some of the smaller & more subtle game characteristics/events were scattered throughout the films, these fighting scenes show how similar the direction of the Movies can be to the Video Games.

After Tom having reached his 3rd titular movie, I think MS will start working on it’s new project. & what is that?

The new 3rd installation of the Venom Movie! Since SMNWH laid the foundations & actually shown that there are multiple universes with multiple versions of the same thing and/or being, it isn’t much of a stretch for Marvel to hire a new actor for their Venom 3 movie. & which actor will play the titular character?

I have a theory that Timothée Chalamet will be HarryOsborn!Venom in the next Venom movie. Why? Because Tom & Zendaya, themselves, recommended Timothée for the role! I thoroughly believe that the MS producers will consider Tom & Zendaya’s recommendation since they highly favor Tom (despite his spoiler accidents lol) & Zendaya has actually worked with Timothée in the past. Now that I think about it, due to Timothée‘s real-life personality bleeding into his characters in movies such as: Interstellar, Lady Bird, Call Me By Your Name, Don’t Look Up, & Dune; I think Timothée will make a great Harry Osborn. His vibe, looks, personality, & acting can make a very convincing Harry.

Timothée is a rising star, like Tom, some might even say that he’s more successful than Tom, so MS will garner massive revenue when they can cast Timothée into their universe. Timothée would also benefit massively if he works with Marvel, since he has only portrayed heroic and/or side characters in his career, he would be able to broaden his repertoire to finally portray a villainous character. So, Tom might not have another movie where he’s the central/titular character, but I can definitely see him appearing as a secondary character in Timothee’s Venom movie. Why? Because at the end of SMNWH, everyone’s memories of Peter Parker were completely erased. So, along the way of Tom!Peter rekindling his friendship with Ned & romantic relationship with MJ, Timothée!Harry might just meet him in his path to becoming Venom!

Now, with all of that out of the way, let us head to the most important theory I am very excited to provide. I thoroughly believe (based on a Tumblr post I can’t find anymore huhu) that the most probable type of relationship that the future insertion of Timothée!Harry with Tom!Peter in his universe would be a romantic one.

Yo hear me out, like wouldn’t that be awesome? Like upon meeting Tom!Peter, Timothée!Harry would immediately be attracted to him because he is indeed, in fact, gay, based on how he was written in the original comics. Whereas, side character Tom!Peter would be in a romantic crisis because on his quest to woo back MJ, he starts developing feelings for Timothée!Harry, thusly exploring his bisexuality! Ned is already Tom!Peter’s bestfriend, so why not make something more out of Timothée!Harry’s inclusion? In my head, this is entirely plausible irl because:

Timothée had actually portrayed a Queer character in a Queer movie.

Andrew Garfield strongly expressed his opinion on how Spider-Man can be bisexual. I don’t see why Tom wouldn’t take after his predecessor in order to broaden his work. He’s a talented actor & seems like a genuine person, like Andrew, so I think he can push through.

The Venom movie where Timothée plays the titular character is a very safe movie to portray queerness & to weigh the future of Venom because it is the 3rd & “last” film in the series. MS can gauge if the audience: likes Timothée‘s portrayal, their reaction to his & Tom’s portrayal of a queer character & relationship, etc. If the audience doesn’t like it, then they can end the series, but if the audience actually does like what transpired, then they can continue on with the success! Like, it doesn’t have to be very strong representation, it could be a little subtle like what happened in Luca & Raya and the Last Dragon. This potential project can really redeem MS from the wreckage that ensued from the queer portrayal of the Loki show & The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. However, this is Disney after all. But I still do have hope that they’ll turn out something good! If not, then, we can always rely on Fanfic Artists~

Now that we know that the cast of SMNWH actively lied to all of our faces to maintain secrecy of the film plot, I can definitely say that we shouldn’t dismiss these possibilities even if the actors themselves say something contradictory, since a lot of people predicted what would transpire even before SMNWH was officially released. So, don’t take these things too seriously & just be excited about what’s to come in the future!
