Do you guys ever think about how (as far as we know) c!Tubbo arguably made the right choice by deciding to never open up to c!Ranboo... Because c!Ranboo (when Enderwalking) retains all his memories and works alongside c!Dream anyway. So although c!Tubbo doesn't know it, his paranoia is actually keeping him safe, because the less info c!Ranboo knows the less he has the ability to tell c!Dream... Not that c!Ranboo necessarily would, but it sucks that like... c!Tubbo probably beats himself up for not wanting to share anything with his sweet and loyal husband, not even knowing that sharing the wrong stray detail about c!Tommy could have caused something disastrous. Like c!Tubbo was right to be a closed book and that shit hurts to think about!!!

milla's  ask  got  me  thinking,  but  ren  would  probably be  able  to  learn  LANGUAGES  uncannily  fast.  his  memory  (  barring  any  irminsul-related  tampering  )  is  effectively  perfect  —  he  would  only  need  to  hear  or  read  something  once  to  remember  it  for  all  eternity.  he's  probably  at  least  somewhat  conversationally  fluent  in  most  languages  across  teyvat  simply  by  virtue  of  absorbing  words  via  OSMOSIS;  leave  him  in  a  crowded  setting  for  an afternoon,  and  he's  clever  enough  to  use  context  to  slowly  piece  together  what  the  people  around  him  are  saying.

does  he  ever  MENTION  this?  no.  of  course  not.  he  hates  sharing  any  personal  information  about  himself,  and  frankly  it's  to  his  advantage  to  feign  IGNORANCE.  you  never  know  when  someone  might  let slip  something  interesting  within  earshot  —  simply  because  they  assume  he  can't  understand  them.

my great auntie barbara has been a widow for almost 10 years now. uncle jack died in summer 2014. and with my grandfather gone she's without her only brother too. today was the wake for my grandfather and she looked absolutely beautiful, i told her as much, she was the best-dressed lady there. and it's been almost three years since my grandmother died and you could tell there was a different understanding between her and my grandfather whenever they got together. it became more necessary to invite barbara to extended-family events when her husband died, but after grammy died it was just about mandatory. there was just something about the two of them sitting together, brother and sister, in their 90s having lost their life partners, but sitting with the only other person left that they had known for as long, no, even longer. as far back as they could each remember. they both looked like they were in the company of their favorite living person. so it was hard to see her at the wake although she looked beautiful and she always does; she has a wonderful smile. it must be hard to be the last survivor of your generation. i just hope she goes home and she has something that makes her feel not so lonely.

(p.s. if you want to avoid seeing anything resembling gore in the least, Don’t Look at 2:30 (actually make that 1:58, if you’re seeing tumblr’s media player progress bar showing the time Remaining in the video rather than the time Elapsed, still two and a half minutes in if the latter), after the killer cyborgs have beat up blade’s wife fran and picked up their baby, until 8 seconds later, when the audible audience reaction has subsided and the “walk / in the rain” chorus has started. if you’re not that sensitive the practical effects are hardly trying to be realistic but it is a bit of a surprisingly gruesome moment, to appropriate tragicomic effect. i thought they were gonna like spike or dropkick that baby offstage or something lol)
