What rly came of their dream connection?#(i assume it was actually them?)#Also was it implied that sabran and someone (canthe? Tunuva?) also had one?#tell me more pls #glorian my beloved #my main complaint is that glorian being aroace is like.....vagued about a few times in the beginning then barely at all when the narrative #is directly forcing her to think about it??? yet there's one line about 'if i had a choice i wouldn't choose to have sex at all'#there's how many? 800? pages? and there could have been so much more nuanced introspection about it #obviously I wouldn't want that to be like. telling us she's sex repulsed yet has to have sex for months anyway.#but she could think about the fact that she's sex neutral or whatever for more than 2 seconds #anyway back to general thoughts there are things that made me sad :((((#but also ahhh so good #i'm glad someone said it was slower than priory bc i think that's a good expectation to have #also i will say that like; the wider plot is basically the same? it's just the fact that it follows different characters that makes it a dif #(like obviously. but i mean that a lot of sort of worldbuilding reveals are exactly the same things)

THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO BE AN ADOLESCENT GIRL.

Living in Barbieland (childhood girlhood) but then suddenly you're all grown up in the real world subject to scrutiny and sexualisation (the guy slapping Barbie's ass) and feeling like existing is a crime?

Being forced by adult men into a box (which leads to the not like other girls syndrome) and exploring the 'real world' (being forced to grow up too quickly) while fighting the realisation that maybe the world sucks and being a woman is so difficult while hoping with all your heart that it's not always going to be this way.

Losing touch with the very things that made you happy because they're considered immature and girly? (The group of teens that said they hadn't played with Barbies since they were five.)

Older women telling you that you have to learn the truth about the world and that you can never have your old life back (Kate Mckinnon's Barbie) despite it being the only thing you yearn for, but also older women being a bright spot and support (the old woman on the bench) in the endless slough of life.

And this is just the trailer!!! I'm so excited for this movie I can't breathe, Greta Gerwig the woman that you are 😭

Q!PHIL SAYING, AND I QUOTE "It's nice having a lot of stuff" and things on the last vod, and also just being all weird about getting new stuff from *supposedly the federation* (cough ender king cough cough)

Combine this with how much he used to say he doesn't value material wealth and family always comes before anything. Heck, he even BURNS the feds money like 10 minutes ago before going right back into this weird new hoarding mode.

And the fact that his whole philosophy of not getting too attached to worldly possesions is something he kinda passed onto Tallulah and Chayanne, and THEY NOTICED HIS ODD BEHAVIOUR.

LIKE. THEY KNOW!!! q!phil was able to pick up when something was off when the codes were imitating them, and the kids know him Just As Well. They can tell somethings up and i'm SADD

Because it was q!phil who was sad that Chayanne and Tallulah were thrown into battle and not able to just enjoy themselves. So what do they do when it's their own parent who's now needing saved. Their rock. The constant support in their life. I'm SO scared that this is going to result in a fight or something between them.

#She's so cute <3 #WPP #Portal #Ellen McLain #If you haven't played through the audio commentary I would Absolutely recommend it it is So fun #I clicked out of curiosity - kind of just expecting like a movie's audio commentary y'know? Like a video that highlighted specific scenes #No it's just the whole game again but with trivia pop-ups! I love that!!#It reminded me so much of like trivia track or the pop up fun facts from special editions of movies I would watch as a kid #But you can play through them!! You have to click on them and they spin! I love that!!!#I always love hearing the design and development process - fascinating how the playtesters reacted to this new game!#We take it for granted now but yeah I imagine it would've been very confusing at the time #And I was like ''Well it was such a small team and Ms. McLain was such a large part of it - surely she'll have a few bubbles?''#She does lol - as soon as I got to her first one (it was a slow burn! They buried the lead with her lol I'm already invested!) I had to go #I saved-quit the game out of sheer excitement and giddiness lol I had to sleep on it before I was ready to come back #It is so cool to hear her natural voice ah <3 And the kinds of direction she was given! Other bubbles also talk about her vocal direction :)#Very cool! I wonder what TTS they used for reference :0 #But to hear her real laugh without the audio processing over and and she still sounds like GLaDOS! I mean of course she does but just jfdksl #That's /her/ laugh! They share a laugh! You know, it was kind of weird...

Mikey sat on the living room couch, the sci-fi movie he was watching fading into the background after a really campy fight scene between two psychics reminded him of something.

The first time he'd had a freaky dream that ended up sort of true, he'd chalked it up to some weird crystal mumbo-jumbo messing with him. He figured it was a one-and-done sort of thing, especially since he hadn't had another since leaving the underground city.

But now it had happened again, and this time there were no crystals to blame.

GAHHHH!!!! THIS FIC!!! MYSTIC MIKEY BUT IT'S 03 MIKEY!!!!! This fic has my whole damn heart, holy shit! Author does a fantastic job diverging from canon and giving us all the family feels and character depth that the show didn't. My heart? Palpating, pumping, melting onto the damn floor!! I decided to go with ImaKasa and Coffee Shop AU (well, it's not really a coffee shop, more like a café/bar)! This was my first time drawing Imayoshi as well as my first time actually thinking about this ship. I got really into it sooo I decided to make a little comic! ☕️ I also decided to try something different from my usual art style, something a little simpler and with less bold colors... There are two wolves inside you.

One is interested in the idea of Iruma slowly adapting to the demon world in mind and body. The language comes easier on his tongue and the environment is no longer menacing. His teeth get sharper, his magic flows more naturally and one day he spies the beginning of small wings and tail sprouting from his back. He assimilates and embraces his newfound demonhood.

The other is intrigued by the idea of Iruma settling in the demon, eventually ruling it while remaining unabashedly human. Its customs, while familiar, always feel strange. He uses his human traits, both those advantageous and not, to force his way to the very top. The reason no one ascended the throne of the demon king in hundreds of years in none of them had that inate human grit to overcome hardship.
