Akutagawa's hand gripping his own brought him back to reality, gave him something tangible to focus on. Atsushi pulled him to his feet, eyes assessing him for any injuries. His light coat was ripped some, but it looked like mostly the hit had just knocked him down.

"You didn't need to do that. I would've healed I-"

"You put yourself in unnecessary danger," Akutagawa criticized, looking at him with those dark eyes. Akutagawa had taken the hit for him. It made his skin itch uncomfortably. "Oda is surely waiting for us."

Atsushi chose not to comment on how Akutagawa hadn't released his hand as they went to find Oda.

Not a Fairy Godmother

Reina is a badass. Kiyoshi and Akira both know this about their mom. She's lived a life of defying fae expectations, of following her own instincts. She should have left Kiyoshi in the mortal realm, traded him for Akira in the way all changelings are traded. She should have treated Akira as more of a toy or a pet, because he's human. But instead, she took the human baby and kept her own and raised them both equally. She's taught them how to fight and survive and be clever and brave. She's received a lot of judgment for it and never once backed down. Her sons know she's badass for all of these reasons.

They have no idea how badass she actually is. Before she was their mom, she was a court spy and assassin for Calix, the fae in charge of her court, and she was good at her job. She held a high title and a lot of respect. And her previous life is the reason she's been able to do what she wants now. Another court might have exiled her for her choices, but Calix has let her be, has even offered her her job back. He can't make the court be nice to her. He can't protect her kids from their own poor choices (and neither can she). But he can remind her this is still her home. So she's stayed and done her best with what she has.

With Naughty Babe premiering tomorrow, let me be clear about this show before it starts.

I am thrilled to see Max and Nat lead a show. I cannot wait to see more YiDiao. I love they dynamic beyond reason (I adore 'we are in a relationship but one of us can't tell he's loved because of their struggles' it's my favorite).

But, and this is a big but y'all, I hate plots that are entirely about one character lying to the other extensively and in order to avoid actually communicating. And fake amnesia to force someone to stay with you is, like, the lowest form of that.

So for all the things that could make me love this show, the plot being.... what it is... is most likely to insure that I will not be pleased. Alas.

Mh yes, I could have been obsessed over I don't know... mythology, dinosaurs, maybe some more known media like Percy Jackson.

I got obsessed, over Minecraft steves.

One video, and I was already hooked.

Goddamn it.

You know how many different series I've watched up until now?

Let me show you.

First video was episode 118 of "The Legends of the Balancers" back when it just came out, then I kept watching from there and after I finished that I decided to watch it from the start.

And you may think "surely 100+ episodes of a Minecraft Steve saga satisfied their needs" right...?

WRONG.

I.kept.going.

Bedrock Rising, Ruined Reality, Steve Saga (no, not Sabre's one, I tried that one but uh... I couldn't bring myself to enjoy it, I do love his newest series tho!), Ore Quest prime, A dark soul, Crimson Life Origins, and AT LEAST another one that I can't remember the name of- ToT it even was a log one I'm pretty sure. AHHHHHH

Oh and yes.

This all happened in less than a month.

I have a problem.

But it's fine :}

THIS IS MAKING ME WANT TO MAKE A FANON OC- WHY- WHY DO I EVEN HAVE A STORYLINE IN MIND- WHY AM I LIKE THIS.

Which isn't bad, cause they're all unique in their own way <3
