Thinking about Nerevarine x Serana yuri. Just two immortal gal pals who reminisce about the First Era together. Jaded veteran Nerevarine who's just so tired and has seen it all already x bright-eyed vampire noble who's seeing the world for the first time beyond her castle and books. That awkward moment when they realize that the reason Harkon feared death enough to turn his whole family into vampires was because Nerevar kicked his (and the other Nords') ass so hard in 1E416 that all he could do was watch, powerless, as the Nord Empire crumbled around him. Finding out that "dragon-born and far-star-marked" was meant all too literally when the two of them first take down a dragon together using techniques the Nerevarine learned during her stay in Akavir. Another awkward moment when the Nerevarine discovers that the Greybeards exist because Nerevar kicked Jurgen Windcaller's ass that hard at Red Mountain. Just general adventuring around Skyrim together. The two of them retrieving Auriel's Bow, and "what in Oblivion is it doing in the Forgotten Vale," and "I gave that thing to Mistress Therana back on Vvardenfell in the Third Era," and "why does it still smell like ash yams?" Defeating Harkon, Serana taking his katana for her own, and the Nerevarine tutoring her in Akaviri combat styles (she, of course, uses the Ebony Blade and/or Goldbrand as her katana of choice because she honors the True Tribunal). Traveling to Solstheim, and it's changed enough since the Third Era that it's a new experience for both of them. Crashing at Tel Mithryn, because Neloth owes the Nerevarine some favors and the Telvanni are cool with vampires anyways. Kicking Miraak's ass because the Nerevarine has a lot of experience dealing with up-jumped mortals with delusions of divinity by now. The Nerevarine bringing Serana along to go kick Alduin's ass, because the two are inseparable at this point, and besides, when else is the immortal vampire gonna get the chance to see what Sovngarde looks like? Finally, the two of them setting off to go adventuring to explore every corner of Tamriel for the rest of their immortal lives.
Also lots of hot blood-drinking action, because this is yuri we're talking about here. Corprus means no risk of Sanguinare Vampiris infection, and I'd imagine that the lingering traces of Lorkhan's essence in blood afflicted with the Divine Disease would make for an exquisite flavor.

So while I'm fucking around with my skyrim baldurs gate companions game, I also decided to do a more in-depth Durge playthrough, and play around with the companions looks. So here's how everyone looks so far!
First off, my peepaw Durge, Cain! I love him so much! While I played with him a bit before and romance Lae'zel, I'm debating on if I want to do that again. Guess I'm going with the flow on him to see who he ends up with.
I really need to draw him at some point. I love the story I built for him, and his personality, which I imagine is very much like Kratos's from God of War; mostly silent and gruff, but knows when he is needed emotionally, and gives great advice on combat!

Astarion is one I really just played around with. I knew I wanted to make him a Tiefling, but that was it. Still, I'm super happy with how he turned out. I'm even warming up to him a bit this playthrough!
I'll do Shadowheart next as she is also a character I really don't care for. But maybe I'm shallow, cause this playthrough I'm paying more attention to her and starting to warm up to her character.
I really love the purple and black on her. I also ADORE the tear looking scars on her face.
I'm not sure how the mod I'm using reacts to act 3 Shadowheart, but hopefully I can remember what faces and such I used on her so I can keep her looking mostly the same with just a few changes.
For Gale I really wanted to give him a scrawny wizard man look, and I'm just really happy with it. I don't think I have much to say about him. Just, I really like how he turned out.
I really had no idea what I wanted to do for Karlach, but I'm happy in the end. At first I just was going for a red color look. But after finding the horns that glow, I thought giving her the fire color palette with the orange would be super cool. And it is!
Honestly with Lae'zel, after turning her into Serana in my other playthrough, I decided I wanted to make her more goth. Kinda like Gale, I don't have too much to say, I'm just happy how she turned out!
And lastly Wyll, my boy! I mainly knew I wanted to use these horns. But other than that I wanted to play around with his looks. I tired to download a mod that added more dreadlock hairstyles, but for some reason it didn't work (a lot of my hair mods didn't,) but I decided to just go with the og dreadlock hairstyle. Which, I'm still very happy with! I love Wyll's looks so much, and it breaks my heart knowing Cain wouldn't want to romance Wyll and I can't romance with him. Big sad!
As I play more through this game I may post more screenshots or videos. But we'll see. I've been playing for the past six hours at least, and now I must sleep!

There are so many moments this is literally impossible. The auroras and moons and stars at night. The first time I saw Serana. The first time I visited the Soul Cairn and the Forgotten Vale. Wandering the landscape of Skyrim and catching dawn and dusk. The entire game is something beautiful and powerful and emotional for me, I've played it for too damn long to feel anything else
✑ Favorite creature?
You mean aside from bats?? Uhmm. OH I think the foxes are really cute!! In terms of enemies, SPRIGGANS ARE SO COOL . . . they deserve so much more love <3

On the complete opposite end of the Vyrthaal - Vyrthur Interaction Spectrum (or VVIS for short) is Jay.
She disguises herself as a mortal to deal with Bal's meddling on Nirn during the Dawnguard Questline and when she encounters Vyrthur she gets so Passionately Angry that Bal fucked w/one of Her People she essentially awakens an ability to "cure" vampirism on her own.
"Cure" in quotations bc it doesn't like....free them from their dealings w a daedric prince or make them mortal. She essentially takes their soul, Purifies it in her own special Jyggalag way, and gives it back to them. They're now bound to her and will be compelled to do her bidding and are connected to her forever, not fully in control of themselves as her will can override their own. But Vyrthur isn't a vampire anymore and Jay is VERY hands off with her "followers," so he's.....okay with it. She does this w/the rest of the Falmer that Vyrthur has turned which is what begins putting Jyggalag at the center of the modern Falmeri pantheon.
Jay "Vampires" are ice cold to the touch and their skin glitters in the sun like ice. They look slightly frostbitten, especially wherever she touches them to Purify them as physical contact is necessary. Their eyes change to look just like hers, bright blue with silver glowing pupils, which looks Incredibly uncanny for most people. Falmer don't have that effect as they don't Have eyes but they do develop bright blue markings around where their eyes would be. High frost resistance for everybody and they're a bit of a hive mind, always conscious of each other through their connection with Jay. They're functionally immortal until she calls them to Oblivion--for some its when their lives would naturally end if they don't want to be immortal, for some it's after sustaining grievous injury and keeping them alive would only make them suffer, or if they displease her in whatever reason. With her desire for Order, as much as she tries to suppress it, this is often if they want to leave her.
They no longer need food or drink (or blood, in the case of former Bal vampires) and are sustained by Jay's life force. So if she's ever weakened they'll all be weakened too.
They have superhuman strength bc I just think that's cool, and the ability to create ice-like armor around themselves in battle (called Jyggalag's Protection). they can also recieve visions of the "future" since Jay can see all possible outcomes ! BUT she doesn't know which is the True future, so it's an imperfect vision and they serve more as warnings of what may happen, rather than what Will happen. Technically any of her followers can get visions from her but it's easier for one of her vampires.
Serana !!! She decides she doesn't want anything to do w/vampirism so she has Falion cure her. No hard feelings from Jay she totally understands lol. But they're super close friends after the questline and Serana stays in the Chantry with Vyrthur and the falmer.
As for Gelebor. He isn't fond of Jay lol. But he stays in Darkfall passage and is unbothered by her Falmer and Vyrthur. Uhhh thas it for now lol I'm too hungry to keep typing BREAKFAST TIME.

He has friends! He’s just bad at being close friends with ppl. Very nervous and very inexperienced in that
3 what is something they really like about themselves, and what’s something you really like about them?
Hmmmm. Virthik likes his hair a lot. It’s arguably the nicest thing about him, in terms of the amount of care put in. He also quite likes that he’s finally at a point in life where he can actually do things that he wants to do, and have a say in what may happen to him. The thing I like most about him physically is his dragon horns :3 overall I like that he does his dead level best to help people when he can, even if he doesn’t know he’s doing it :)
4 What is the thing they like the most about their friends, and what is the thing their friends like the most about them?
For friends that are my ocs, he likes that they’re kinda used to his whole thing(pretty much just automatically) so they don’t end up getting terribly worried when he says out of pocket shit on accident(at least not visibly). Should they prolly be worried? Absolutely. He has a 50% chance of a therapist resigning after the first 2 visits, it’s like a status effect.
For npc friends(like Serena) he likes that she also kinda doesn’t mind hating on one’s own parents. Like ‘ayyy! Mine are shit too, what a coincidence!’ And of course that serana is kind of ok with just. Not chatting, but being around each other as a way to hang out. Burnt out chosen ones 🤝 not talking constantly bc honestly wtf. How
I’d list more canon characters but the only others I can think of rn are either government officials or gelebor. Sooooo
For something that they like about him, I think all of them have a general appreciation for his skill in combat. Learning how to fight early on has its perks! Especially the ones that have low health, it’s very nice to have a bit of a tank as a teammate
Otherwise I think they like that he’s always up for pretty much anything. Wanna go to that old abandoned crypt that’s definitely full of cultists? Why not! Wanna rebuild an entire town from the ground up? How hard could it be! Wanna talk about our feelings? Ok maybe not that one very much but he’ll get back to ya!
16 What was the happiest moment of their life?
I think it would have to be a few days after the dawnguard questline tbh. Hasn’t killed alduin yet but honestly? It’s good to know that he CAN kill him, or at least that he’ll have a chance. He’s still got a long way to go, sure, but knowing that you’re doing something right is always nice.
22 If they had to pick up an instrument, what would they choose?
Ooh that’s a tough one. In Skyrim he’d prolly do a lute, for lack of any other really interesting instruments(other than a flute but like. Meh). If he could choose a modern instrument it would either be the drums or an electric guitar. Why? Cause he’d look cool.

“Ughhh well. I’ll admit I’m not feeling great. I mean like just in general I’m not but I really am not feeling great right now. well i play her with the lord stone so that would probably count as her birthsign even though i only picked it for gameplay benefits... im not rly into astronomy irl or in elder scrolls so i couldnt fucking tell you what this means for her in-universe. she is strong and a warrior i dont fuckin know. it fits
3. What factions are they a part of?
dawnguard and companions! in that order. when she was still new to skyrim she heard about the vampire hunters and they heard about her and she was like "that sounds cool i love hunting" <- clueless that she's about to get a goth gf
after the business with harkon was done she went back to whiterun and became a companions, eventually a woof and a harbinger. then she reunited with her goth gf :)
4. Do you consider them canonically dragonborn? If so, how are they faring at their prophetic duties? If not, what made you decide to do away with that part of the vanilla story?
she is not dragonborn, no! that's what nerissa is for actually. i think it's a bit more gay when someone who doesn't actually kill dragons for a living would still charge one with reckless abandon if it was threatening her vampire gf. plus i wanted a fucked up mora-loving scholar/wizard dragonborn oc so i just inserted her in the story too (that's nerissa)
6. How old are they?
old enough! i don't really have an exact number in mind. maybe like late 20s early 30s if i had to pick; serana is way older anyway :P
9. What skills that they fall short on?
she is very bad at wizard (except enchanting). at best she can cast like a clairvoyance or a candlelight. her gf is a powerful ancient vampire wizard and her best friend is a fucked up mora-loving scholar wizard so it balances out though
13. What questline had the biggest impact on them?
probably the dawnguard one. got a goth gf out of it and everything
30. What is their favorite type of dungeon?
one with lots of vantage points and/or corners to sneak around and kill things :)
32. Would you consider them to be merciful?
generally yes! like she'll kill bandits and stuff but they menace the populace so that's different. and she'll kill harkon but he'd menace the populace and her gf so really he was just asking for it. the biggest instances of tahiri going out of her way to not be merciful were killing grelod the kind (completely justifiable), following that up by killing astrid darkbrotherhood (she kidnapped her and asked her to kill other people which is very antithetical to how merciful tahiri usually is), and (much later on) the whole silver hand as revenge for what they did to kodlak (but it was vilkas's idea anyway).

it's been ages , hasn't it ?? not just since being put away , even PRIOR to that , being a part of any social gatherings had become few and far between as her father became more and more entranced by his mania. once upon a time the volkihars would be most enthusiastic to make an appearance at any function , though most of the time they'd keep it to the ones their kin held. decadent dresses , fancy halls ──── all memories that had crumbled to ash. being here in the capital , serana wonders for a moment if any of the other clans even remember their legacy ──── or if it too was just dust. with the dragon threat vanquished , it seemed the queen was more than thrilled to gather as many of those who could make it to solitude as she could for a celebration. skyrim would live to see another day.
as the sun had set , the lively dancing songs turned slow to give citizens a break and it was with ease the vampire had shifted from how her and voara spun in grand circles with their fingers ENTWINED to bringing her in close , to now the pair of them slowly swaying , free hand resting politely on her lower back. " forgive me if i'm a bit rusty , " tone sheepish , she smiles through it. " it's been some time since i've danced , much less led one. " the gentle chuckle from the other eases her nerves enough that serana leans to press a chaste but soft kiss to voara's lips , cool forehead staying rested against hers. " gods it's nice to have a moment to breathe amongst the chaos. metaphorically speaking. . . i suppose. . . all things considered. "

IT IS!!! Like yeah sure it's v buggy sometimes but it's also very compelling and fun and it gives plenty of options and combinations to play as and i appreciate that.
Niiice, i love Cicero too, i just love Serana way more. Hard agree on the dark brotherhood lore, they're so cool and I'm always so sad when i lose like 80% of the dark fam T-T. I think i like the college more simply bc it's fucking nuts and I'd love to go hogwild studying magic.
Tho to be fair the only ones i don't like are the stormcloaks and the empire. It's always hard to pick a side bc i don't like either lmfao.
Ahh i love durnehviir and he's my favorite to summon (and how happy he is when he gets to fly over Skyrim again??? 💚) but odahviing is just my favorite bastard. Aesthetically it's Alduin tho. Like yeah i enjoy crushing him to dust but the whole ink black and spikes thing is very cool.

my bad if someone's already asked you this, but, question: has someone done a previous autopsy on ur version of serana? why & when & how?
oh the autopsy scars are from a half-formed idea i had about how necromantic magic works in elder scrolls, in particular rituals to initiate an undead state (lich, vampire lord, etc) involving having your chest cavity opened up, some things possibly removed or added, etc.
its not really a coherent idea and its mostly bc i think it looks cool. imril has that sort of scar too

Hi! I saw in the tags of your post about the blades overhaul you saying that you have some thoughts about S:EC cutting out delphine and I was interesting in hearing them if you’d like to share, I was personally really disappointed when I read that they were cutting her out
It’s essentially just disappointment of seeing a mod intended on working on Skyrim’s story flaws cutting out one of the characters who I feel would need it the most. And (presumably) replacing them with someone meant to be more palatable & romanceable. Which, a romanceable Blade character isn’t a bad thing, dont get me wrong! But whenever you have these more independent characters, especially female ones like Serana, Delphine, or Astrid & the move with some mods is to make them/replace them with waifus(tm) meant to praise you every 5 minutes is....ehh. But I have high hopes this will not be the case with the new Blade introduced.
Granted the palatable replacement assumption is going off the trailers given, so I could be completely wrong! But overall, I do enjoy characters that question, or even challenge, the PCs decisions - if it isn’t just sudden/conflicting with previous writing (i love follower mods but the whole “assassin that kills the emperor is cool/you can do every other fucked up thing in this game but lord forbid you kill this one dragon” thing gets kinda silly after a bit) & felt Delphine is a great character from vanilla that would do so. Buuut Bethesda dropped the ball on that one & a lot of modders addressing the Paarthurnax quest do the same by the whole “IM THE BOSS YOU’RE JUST DUMB >:(” schtick lol. I feel like Delphine could have still been kept in to assist with recruitment or any spy-master stuff that the Blades done in earlier games, falling under the LDB as a second-in-command; but I think keeping in her willingness to question some of the LDBs decisions would be a great thing too.
Yes, it’d kill the mood for the power-players, but Delphine would essentially be the one to help the player debate or think through any actions - or even show concern should they lean more into their draconic nature if the Soul System is kept in come the final release. Hell, the mod could still keep in her distrust/dislike of Paarthurnax with all this - just have it be an actual conversation to have with her & maybe other Blades rather than what we’ve been seeing with the past Nax mods yknow?
Also I’m a Delphine stan so I’m also just a little bit salty LMAO

A not-so-brief overview of my Skyrim Dova OCs bc i need to scream to the digital void about my ideas
Freyora Lind, more commonly known by her strange alias “Bjorne Icepick”
A Nord-eventually-turned-werewolf who orphaned during the Great War and taken in by a Dunmeri mercenary whose residence was in Windhelm’s Gray Quarter. Grew up in a cramped boarding house setting among desperate mercenaries of varying backgrounds. Many of them would all come and go, but there was always some sort of a familial bond between them all.
From a young age she got in a lot of fights against people who insulted her for living in the Gray Quarter among the dark elves. Eventually she took a fight too far and was jailed for murder around 14, but was broken out shortly after by a band of masked vampires. Turns out some of her mercenary comrades unwittingly caught vampirism during a contract to clear out a vampire den and had to skip town, but not before ensuring one of their own wasn’t left to rot.
Lived in Cyrodil for about 15 years, but returned to Skyrim pursuing rumors surrounding a cure to vampirism, as her adoptive father would be nearing the end of his elven lifespan and had wished to die a normal death.
Seeing as she was literally a fugitive, and her long-belated parents were somewhat renowned for their battlefield prowess, she took on a false identity. AND an act to match it.
She’ll eat raw meat, chase prey with swords instead of using a bow like a normal person, harp about irrational conspiracy theories, and more. Everyone’s foul reactions to her outlandish act are plainly hilarious to her and only encourage her to act even stranger.
The alias “Bjorne Icepick” was simply the most ridiculous name she could think of.
Not the most morally outstanding. Besides drunken brawling, she’ll steal from anyone who angers her, even if it’s things she literally won’t ever need such as all the goblets in a household. It’s the pettiness that counts. “Try drinking your damn high-end wine now, jackass.”
Calls Dwarven Automatons “Gundams.” Including she herself, no one knows what that means.
Joins the Companions out of homesickness and a desire to fill in a gap that leaving home left.
Hasn’t bothered curing herself of lycanthropy because her whole schtick is being incredibly resourceful, and that includes using any means of power necessary. Still doesn’t fancy Hircine’s Hunting Grounds as her desired afterlife, though.
As her journey goes on, however, her lightheartedly eccentric face starts to fall off as a number of events push her to begin to question the legitimacy of her actions up until that point.
Some of which include the eventual death of her adoptive father (and how she was indirectly responsible for it even if it was what he wanted), Delphine’s ultimatum, the civil war as a collective, learning the tragic history behind the Falmer and the original Companions’ role in it, and killing of Vyrthur (no matter how much he genuinely deserved it).
She grows disgusted by herself down to the core. She takes to skooma to cope, and starts to be plagued by serious skooma-induced side effects. She ends up shutting herself away from all her responsibilities and distancing herself from her friends.
Does she get better? Maybe. I haven’t thought up anything past this point lol
Moureneris Alta
A very, VERY ancient vampiric snow elf, (though it’s notable she was born a considerable amount of time after the razing of Sarthaal)
Survived many atrocities. Stayed in isolation with a band of vampires for countless years out of sheer disgust for the nature of the sapient races. (I’ll explain her full story some other time. It’s pretty complicated)
She was abducted from her isolated lifestyle by a certain person i’ll talk about later. She managed to free herself south of Skyrim, and uh, walks right into that Imperial ambush. The rest is history.
Super ignorant to modern society as a result of centuries of isolation. Exploited for comedic relief. (“What in the name of Oblivion is a Cyrodilic Empire? Are you messing with me? And please, how does levitation magic simply get outlawed by this hypothetical Empire? What are you to do when you fall down a crevice? Just... let yourself perish? How degrading.)
She reintegrated herself into society with vengeance in mind under the belief that all humans are savage bloodlusting murderers who had to answer for their treachery. (And she was royally angry there was no Dwemer left to spite, but partially satisfied at the same time). But she grows conflicted after being shown genuine kindness, even as early as being freed from her binds in Helgen.
Subsequently has a very muddled redemption arc. Queue Dragonborn hero stuff
She has impaired vision, but she cultivated detect life magic to aid her in daily life and combat (think Hyakkimaru from Dororo ‘19 and his soul detection or Toph Beifong from ATLA and her seismic sense). At her peak, she can detect life from about a kilometer away.
She can just barely read, but only if she holds the text incredibly close to her face, not to mention her Cyrodilic lessons were left unfinished after her abduction, making reading a very taxing process. Weary travelers are often spooked at the sight of a floating, ghastly looking elven woman with her nose pressed up against crossroad signs, and it has become somewhat of an urban legend.
Isn’t as nearly as skilled with detecting the dead and tenses up in burial crypts or around other vampires for that reason. Unfortunately, being the Dragonborn and all, she finds herself in a lot of crypts...
When questioned about her background due to her unique appearance: “Oh, yeah. My mother was one of those mer from the east. You know the ones. Dark elves, I think? And my father was one of those er, tall elv- no, sorry, HIGH elves. Yeah. They both died in a big fire or something though. It was horrible. I can’t get the noxious smell or the deafening screams out of my head. Good talk, but never ask me about that again.”
Queue sheltered old immortal antics: “Wow, you’re THAT old? Enlighten me on how it felt witnessing the fall of the Dwemer. Or perhaps the rise of Tiber Septim’s Empire. The Gates of Ob-“ “Oblivion if I know. I lived in someone’s basement for thousands of years. And I still don’t know what everyone means by Empire. You all are messing with me, aren’t you? That really annoys me.”
She ultimately returns to faith in Auri-El and makes it her life’s purpose to help the Betrayed find peace, as well as to seek out any remaining snow elf groups. Probably good friends with Gelebor or something.
Had a crush on Serana. We all know how THAT went. Damned temples.
Was originally gonna spiral into a much darker corruption arc (another ATLA comparison being Jet or Hama) but I just felt bad for her. Moureneris can have a little found peace. As a treat.
That’s her preliminary design made. I’ll need a mod to properly play her, because that right there was made by choosing Dunmer as her race. But I can’t do that. I’m on console, and while I got the Steam port a month ago, my PC’s stone age specs can’t handle Skyrim yet and I’ll need to wait until I can afford a better graphics card (thanks economic inflation)
Alexandre Armasi, jokingly nicknamed Alexandre the Curious
A complete and unapologetic export of my character from a dead and unfinished DND campaign. Except there are no Aasimar in Skyrim, so he’s half Altmer half Bosmer. And his initial last name was Armas but I thought Armasi suited his Skyrim counterpart more, as subtle a change it is.
He’s mainly Bosmer in appearance and constitution, save for his hair and eyes, which are more similar to that of his Altmeri father’s.
I can’t really export his original backstory though because the campaign wouldn’t translate well into TES lore at all.
He’s a writer who came wandering into Skyrim in search of inspiration. While he mainly writes dramatic fables, he wanted to divert his focus to crafting his own bestiary and herbal compendium surrounding Skyrim’s fauna and flora. The ones at home are simply too vague to him!
He’s very altruistic, wishing to spread cheer wherever he goes, through the art of song (even though he was a cleric in DND and not a bard. My bad.) However, many of his verses are just blatant self promotions of his published fables.
But he’s too naive for his own good. Dangerously so. In fact, he says what’s on his mind with little forethought, with little grasp on the consequences of his actions, which lands him in lots of trouble. “I don’t favor him myself, but you guys kill people over Talos worship? That’s not very cool. A bit scary, if you ask me.” or “A Stormcloak rebel? Didn’t your leader kill a bunch of Reachmen rebels years back, or so I’ve heard. By the divines that’s not a man I’d make a symbol of nonconformity.”
He’s also insatiably curious. The type to ACTUALLY shove alchemic ingredients in his mouth with no knowledge of their properties, experiment with dangerous rune spells, throw rocks at pressure plates, and more. Needless to say he’s very accident prone.
Doesn’t know common curse words. People exploit this for laughs. Think that episode of Spongebob.
Everyone is a little baffled that HE of all people is the prophesied Dragonborn of legend. This agonizingly imbecilic writer who has absentmindedly wandered into burial crypts, troll dens, bandit forts, and more, too busy juggling his manuscripts to pay attention to his surroundings.
His past doesn’t exactly reflect his outlook on life. His mother and father fought in the Great War aligned with the Imperials despite their elven background. Both managed to live to see the war’s conclusion, but his father vanished without a trace shortly after, and it seems his mother knows something she won’t tell him.
With plenty of exposure to bad influences, his innocence is slowly lost throughout the course of his journey, and his altruism begins to grow twisted. But nevertheless, he maintains his jovial, social persona, except this time with much darker undertones. Kinda like a creepy dentist or something.
Whoops. He winds up becoming a feared Dark Brotherhood assassin. (Haha get it “Innocence Lost”???) He somehow deluded himself into thinking that the life of an assassin was the right thing to do. But he’s a funky little guy so he gets a pass for his heinous crimes against society

The scene in question:
Her persimmon gaze found Vigdis again.
The hunter stared back. Cool irises contrasted with the fiery tongues that devoured the charred wooden embers. Her freckled yet scarred face rested in its cold neutrality, stony and emotionless; yet her eyes shifted, fractured like a glacier afloat in the Sea of Ghosts. Serana couldn’t even begin to read the emotions that swirled in those eyes—but they were open to her for the very first time.
Vigdis closed her eyes and turned away.
So as I'm sure you've noticed. I'm OBSESSED with eyes. And dreams. And memories. And I'm always SO EXCITED when I can squeeze in another slightly poetic scene like this. I feel like I'm saying everything and nothing here. We're not in Vig's mind so we don't know what she's thinking or feeling--but Serana can SEE IT all the same. And it's--UGH. This part, I think, makes the rest of the chapter that much more painful.
Because Vigdis is opening up. Whether she likes it or not.
Over the past few chapters Vigdis has been opening up ever so slowly: she sometimes agrees with Serana, she's protective of Serana, she's learned how to fight with Serana, she TOLERATES Serana. She's still the mean asshole that we all love to hate, but she's changing.
I'm finally witnessing all the pieces falling into place and I couldn't be more excited.

How would your ocs play Minecraft? (Like survival, creative, with friends, streaming, etc)
I love this question so much anon thank you for asking it. If you want me to go REALLY insane ill make a post talking about how the Vyrthaal's play minecraft as well lmao :3
In a perfect world all my ocs have a minecraft world they play in together (it would be a survival world with cheats enabled and everyone given access 2 the console because that sounds like the most opportunity for them all to fuck things up).BUT For more specific answers:
Vyrthaal: Exclusively plays on survival with no cheats on his ownbut them n Serana have a world together with cheats enabled so they can relax some (and mostly they just want keep inventory on so they can fuck around a million miles away from their base then die instead of trying 2 find their way back home. Or kill each other lol). Vyr would definitely stream but they (and Serana if she joins em) would speak exclusively in ancient falmeri (or Nordic in seranas case). Vyr really likes building things! They don't make big impressive builds or anything it's mostly just houses that match whatever biome they settle in with materials they gather (they will sometimes spawn things in for themself in the worlds they play in w/Serana but only if they're feelin' lazy). Very scared of exploring caves n shit but loves it--Vyr is Absolutely the person screaming at every sound even when they're playin' alone and not streaming XD OH also Vyr tries so hard to make sense of Redstone and gives up after like 10 minutes and realizes they wasted 6 hours mining for redstone and cries a little :')
Kili: OK I know Kili is blind. He also probably wouldn't be too interested in playing minecraft anyways. But LOVES hanging out w/Vyr when they play and Vyr loves telling him all about whatever he's doing and also minecraft fun facts. Intrigued by the potion making and enchanting bits so Vyr spent hours gettin stuff to make a shitton of potions and and then enchanting things for him hehehe
Jo'safiir: Also plays survival with no cheats. Loves exploring, Especially big ol' caves and mineshafts. Fucking LOVES the Deep Dark and ancient cities, tries exploring ancient cities for as long as he can while evading the Warden. Routinely winds up a million miles away from his base and dying so he's always losing inventory and it frustrates him to no end XD Jo'safiir hates building so his bases r just square cobblestone hovels with a bunch of disorganized chests placed wherever. He probably doesn't even have a bed he just sets up wherever he spawns in lmao!! Probably has a minecraft server for the College but only the students and Miraak join it, none of the faculty. Also it isn't the educational Minecraft stuff it's just regular minedcraft they all just dick around and hang out. U get extra credit in his classes if u make cool redstone contraptions tho so it's incentive for the more advanced students to hang out lol
Varla: Exclusively plays in creative to explore and build really big huge impressive and intricate builds. Has 30 million mods and uses fancy shaders and graphic enhancements etc etc. Varla's computer SHOULD be a melted ruin but somehow it runs flawlessly and never overheats despite appearing to be a regular (if not fancy and over the top looking) gaming PC he built. If anyone asks him how his game doesn't lag or crash he just says "I don't know but here's what I'm doing" and if u try it ur shit breaks. It's Apocrypha Fuck Shit. Probably tries streaming for a bit but doesn't get Into It like Vyrthaal so sometimes he goes a month without doing anything then streams for almost a week straight. BUT he'd have a really cool Gaming Room set up and nice equipment for when he does stream bc he thinks that it's pretty :}
Vulon: Well now u are all gonna know how I play minec craft. Usually survival, usually with cheats on, usually uses the console to spawn shit in and enchant its equipment. Switches to creative when it gets bored, once spent over 4 hours in creative placing a bunch of Sculk catalysts in a massive cavern, spawning in mobs, then killing them 2 see how much of the place it could cover in sculk. Lord Boethiah has banned it from doing this in any of their shared worlds. With other friends it plays in survival without cheats or the console but its a huge weenie despite being reckless as fuck. It'll sprint heedless of danger into an Ancient city then cry real actual tears of terror when it summons the Warden. Yes I am like this no I will never change yes I have been called Leeroy Jenkins more than once. Vulon would stream too!! It would get distracted chatting with people tho and eat shit or just kind of run around in circles aimlessly. It plays w/Lord Boethiah and Serana all the time (and maybe Ezimar too if they wanted 2 :3c) the 3 of then have so many worlds called "big giant peepee" and "PENIS WIZARD 6900" and none of them ever remember what the fuck they were doing in any of their worlds so they just make more.
Niralek: I think Vyrthaal would get Niralek into minecraft and I think she would be like really good at it and never dies or gets lost but the only thing she wants to do is collect flowers and bees. Also she'd stream but ignores her chat entirely but has SO many people watching and so many Devoted Viewers bc Why Is A Spriggan Gaming???? Is she a real spriggan or is this the work of some really nice 3d modeling?????? She never moves much or speaks so nobody knows and it's a whole big Divide with her fans as to whether she's a real spriggan or not. She thinks it's funny. I think if she reaches a huge subscriber goal or something she joins Vyrthaal in a stream, like physically In The Room With Him, and everyone goes apeshit when they realize she's actually who she says she is lol.
Sethsa: She's listed bc I think Rune would like minecraft and he seems like a charismatic and fun guy so I could see him killing it as a streamer. Sethsa always hangs out with him while he plays/streams and he tells her abt what he's doing but she's like "you should go to the nether and look Endermen in the eyes" and "rUNE LOOK OUT THERES A CREEPER" when he just happens to be at the edge of a cliff or something and he freaks out and dies. He thinks it's funny as hell and so does his chat lmao. Sometimes while he's streaming Sethsa will enter the room carrying Deathcry like a baby and be like "Hello My Boydriend's Chat you will look at my creature now" and Rune stops what he's doing so everyone can look at Deathcry.
Ivrasi: Ivrasi would love farming and fishing she has massive farms and spends hours fishing and all her friends are like "you know there's other things you can do right???" She doesn't care. Her level is like 100 million bc all she does is fish nonstop so she never gets killed or anything. Definitely has a world with Erik where he goes and explores and builds things and she just hangs out in her fishing tower or skittering around to finds seeds for her farms. Her and Erik would have the messiest chests though, neither of them give a shit about organizing so they can never find any of their equipment. They keep making new chests and telling themselves that THIS is for their favorite equipment it will NOT be cluttered with bullshit. And then clutter it with bullshit. Oh also she loves going to villages and trading for shit even if they're bad trades she just likes findin random crap for villagers. ALSO she loves naming animals she Especially loves frogs but she names them with like real people names. Like after historical figures and aedra and daedra and stuff.
