got myself obsessed with a ship i used to ship back in the day and now i can’t get back into my zukka mindset which means i can’t sit down and read whenever you update

The goal now is to wait it out then start the story from the very beginning giving very much middle school me obsessed with everything The Hunger Games

I did read it, i commented, and I'm still processing

But honestly i am so thankful for the breather. Like this chapter was just, finally sokka fucking TALKING and like, fair enough he really does need tonget his anger on check (tho i can't wait until they see the way *zuko* reacts to sokka. He's in a way more quiet but just as subtle — which is to say not at all subtle)

And also like. Iroh fucking finally knows that sokka can actually help zuko. I am begging you hurt sokka all you want with the consequences of his stupidity but please please please don't let Iroh keep zuko and sokka apart anymore, I'm going crazy

(you could even have zuko get well enough that HE goes to stalk sokka) (ahem)

But yeah I'm just... Honestly I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. I have no better way to put it. And also quon is an asshole and oh boy when sokka finds out what almost happened to zuko on his guard? Ha, bye bye therapy progress

Zuko is all self conscious about being a mess of a person until he hears all the fun things Sokka has done without him there haha. It’s going to be interesting for sure <3

Sokka actually continues to talk next chapter which is nice it’s wild what five minutes around Zuko does for his mental state. *whispers* codependency

Hahaha iroh has done a fucking FANTASTIC job of keeping Zuko from doing whatever he wants so far & I expect that to continue to go splendidly (which means as soon as zukos not about to die or sedated his ass is out of there lol) - aw it would be the first time Zuko went to Sokka though <3 (except when he rescued him from the box) hahahaaaaa good times good times.

Omg quon is like NOT HAVING A GOOD DAY(S) and just wait until IROH finds out what he did haha… I think Sokka is the least of his worries lol.

sorry about disappearing ive been through some shit and i think one of the worst things someone could is read LIAB while feeling down so,, yeah

anyways I just finished reading the first chapter of into the fire and god i missed everyone. i feel REALLY sad for both sokka and zuko and you have no idea how much I'm gonna cry when they find each other (they better get together again sreeady!!!!)

again sorry for not being as enthusiastic as always, don't really have the energy but i still stand my world, im your n1 fan and your writing is one of the best things ive ever read and also the angstiest !!!!!!!!! it REALLY hits the spot

oh and i wanted to say that it's been around 11 months since I started reading LIAB and it's starting to get a bit nostalgic, its weird but i like it.

and oh GOD you have no idea how much I want to draw fanart but i just can't bring myself to do anything,,, it just frustrates me so muchhhh

ok now after that kind of vent and just saying a buncha random shit, thanks as always for this beauty of a fic and expect a good review (me screaming, hopefuly) of the second chapter in a couple of days max.

@hanabobb on TT inspired me to print and bind my favorite fanfictions for myself.

I asked @ssreeder if it was alright if I printed LIAB for my first one since their story is so amazing! There are not enough words to describe how awesome this journey is with Risking it All is almost done as well, I wanted to reread LIAB again, and what better way than a handbound book I do myself.

I attached some pics of what I have so far! Super excited to finish the formatting and then get started on the imposition (Converting the document to be printable as a book)

But I had two questions and was wondering if others that love @ssreeder's work could help me out?

What quote should I put before the story (Currently on pg 4) There are just so many good ones I am not sure what to choose.

Should I make the hands on the title pages colored? (I can leave it how it is, make all of them red, all of them blue, do every other red and blue (Red on chapter 1, blue on chapter 2, etc), or make one hand red and one blue)

as someone who's trying to get back into writing I have a question for you since you're able to update so consistently AND write humongous chapters.

do you write in bursts of energy or do you set goals like '255 words a day'?

di you have a set time thats writing time, does that help?

Awww I’m glad you like my humongous chapters haha.

I try to set aside time each day to write. I’m pretty good at planning out my day, but that doesn’t always mean I stick to my schedule.

I don’t have a daily word count goal because I usually write things in scenes more than I do by word count. I would feel too pressured if I gave myself a word goal each day but I do know that does work for some writers!

I really believe setting time aside to write & knowing what you’re going to write helps a lot. I prefer to write during the day if I have time. I find my writing turns out better if I write during daylight but sometimes I don’t have time to I will set aside time at night to write instead.

(But I sometimes skip writing if I plan it at night so I try not to do that)

So yeah I hope that helps lol!! :)

Ok so we know that suki is going to make an appearance at some point but what about chaotic gremlin child also called greatest earthbender in the world. Her energy can heal the two boys 😭

Though I do feel like the boys were ok at v and eve's house owing to the calm feminine energy (no thanks to you for killing them tho)

Also idk why but I want to see zuko and reho friendship... 😆

Her loud energy & powerful earth bending might trigger some underlying PTSD in the two boys haha.

They did almost get squished once lol.

Suki has major calm feminine energy,,, I’ll do my best not blow her up too :D :D

I’m going to go ahead and say that Zuko & Reho had their chance at a genuine friendship once…

& Zuko threw Reho into a tree…. and then proceeded to pretend her didn’t exist.
