The Silent Suffering of Our Time: A Stark Look at Mental Health Stigma
In an age where the world openly battles with a plethora of crises, one particularly nefarious struggle simmers beneath the surface, eluding the widespread attention it so desperately requires. It’s the silent suffering endured by countless individuals grappling with severe mental illness, trauma, PTSD, and an array of psychological afflictions. It’s ironic, really. We inhabit a society that…

Something I'm unreasonably fond of in the Happy Day in hell reprise are these changed lines
"To change their minds and touch their hearts, or whatever angels have" ->
"you've changed my mind, you've touched their hearts, found the good in souls gone bad"
Sung by Lucifer, who would know, sneakily avoiding saying whether angels have hearts or not
I was just so ready for the potential of fucked up angel biology to be dropped that I was pleasantly surprised when it stayed ambiguous; no idea if it was even intentional tho
I really do hope something interesting is done with the heavenborn and they aren't just people with wings. Hell's world building has been pretty good about giving different species different cultures and world views I have hope

I think if a company lets you apply to their job through a dedicated job site (Indeed or w/e), and then messages you to inform you that, ACTUALLY, you need to go to a second site and apply there for the application to Actually Count, we should be able to steal $200,000 from the CEO's bank accounts each time.

For What It's Worth - read on ao3
As he and the former Minister of Intelligence set his affairs in order, Cipher Nine reflects on his career.
Excerpt:
The horror he’d endured in the wake of that accomplishment, the unapologetic abuse that had led him to walk open-eyed into a bureaucratic death—it had all been one long, agonizing descent from there, but in that brief, shining moment on the Dominator, his determination, his skill, his presence had meant something.
Maybe that was all any of them could hope for: a fleeting instant of potency. To stand at that precipice and affect some semblance of justice.
He looked up. “I have a question.”

i feel like as a fandom we don’t talk enough about how much of a bureaucratic nightmare the Institute is.
I mean, nothing done in that place is legal, which is bad enough, but the internal stuff too.
Jon alone probably has to get a new computer three times a year without a legitimate reason for it, the HR complaints must be through the roof, and considering the fact that many employees are unfireable it would be impossible to do anything about any of the above.
Elias/Jonah’s job would be impossible even without all the eldritch horrors and fear god worshipping he does in his spare time.
Poor HR

As I sat down to write, I couldn't help but think of the great literary master, you. Your ability to weave intricate and haunting tales of the human condition has inspired countless writers, myself included. However, I must confess that my recent fascination with yandere characters has led me down a different path of exploration.
Intrigued by the psychology behind these obsessive and often violent characters, I have delved deep into the twisted minds of yandere protagonists. While your's tales of existential angst and bureaucratic nightmares are certainly compelling, there is something uniquely captivating about the dark and dangerous allure of a yandere's love.
Perhaps it is the way they are willing to do anything, even kill, for the object of their affection. Or maybe it's the intense emotional turmoil that drives them to such extreme measures. Whatever the case may be, I find myself drawn to these characters in a way that Kafka's protagonists could never quite capture.
In the end, yandere characters offer a glimpse into the complex and often disturbing aspects of human nature. While one may prefer the surreal and absurdist world, I am enamored with the thrilling and chilling world of yandere love.
This was very philosophical indeed. Thanks for sharing, I'm glad you found an interesting deep dive to go into! A yan's psyche is certainly interesting and can barely be whittled down to just one trait in which it roots which makes it a broad and intruiging topic. I hope you find more stories to enjoy even if my stories aren't always focused on the yan's inner going-ons! Thanks for reading them anyway ♥
Also, let's face it, I'm an okay-ish writer at best, my grammar is worse than yours so there's hardly any mastery behind it, lol!

As much as I love the scene with the last name, this is one of the few opportunities (and I am keen to use every single one of them) to flex my bffs legal last name, which is Princess of [redacted-redacted] and [redacted] duchess of [redacted]

Is it lame that i think i need to see a therapist bc im having mild ptsd symptoms from the extreme xenophobia and nastiness i experienced in my 2 years living in austria (including multiple wg situations of xenophobic bullying, having to get a lawyer to stop them from deporting me during exams bc they didnt want to give me a student visa based purely on my 'ethnic' name, professors who were openly nazi sympathisers and even targetted me specifically, a labor dispute with my boss in which he was several flavors of racist to my coworkers and in retaliation for speaking out about working conditions ran a personal smear campaign against me that spread across the entire country's organic ag communities, rich white classmates who called me poor and stupid in front of the professors to (successfully) gain brownie points (with no clue that i had just as good grades as their spoiled asses even with working 30 hours a week at the uni bar), and an endless bureaucratic nightmare that is living in the backwater shithole they call a country)
Like i still feel unjustified in calling it mild ptsd but im now even less trusting of people and more biased towards europeans and afraid to ask anything of the people at the department at my new uni in sweden because i know 100% theyd yell and/or insult me in austria for daring to bother them. Coming to austria after having been away is always like a slap in the face because people are just so nasty. And proud of how mean they are, like ?? Like i need to talk to someone about the extremely negative effect living there has had on me to the point of getting depression

Ok so apparently the reason I've been having so many problems with my bank is because I've been giving out the wrong version of my account number (incorrect prefix) for like four years now ✌️

What state doesn't allow you to get Medicaid even if your income is zero? It should be based on her health. Did she apply? Get a disability attorney? It's not uncommon to get denied the first couple times.
I'm aware of this. She's aware of this. Are you aware of how long the appeals process is? She's still in appeals. As she has mentioned several times in her gfm, and as I have mentioned several times on this blog.
She has contacted every pro bono attorney that does this kind of work in her area. None of them will take her case. As I think she's also mentioned. Did you know that very few lawyers even do that kind of work, and that those that do often get asked to do more cases than they actually have time for?
There are 12 states that don't allow you to get Medicaid based solely on income. That's easy to google. "States without expanded Medicaid" should get you both proof that they exist, and an explanation of what that means.
If you know most people get denied the first couple times I'm perplexed about why you seem to think it's simple to get on disability, and why you seem to think there's some obvious easy option she's missing?
People often scold poor people for not accessing resources that either don't exist or are almost impossible to get. I understand that you mean well, but this ask really rubs me the wrong way. I'm worried about someone important to me dying for lack of medical care, and you're assuming without actually even reading her most recent gfm post that she's not doing everything she can.
