apparently people are now purchasing thick water to make slimes with because of a trend on tiktok
thick water is for disabled people who can’t swallow properly. stores usually have extremely limited supplies of it.
please don’t buy thick water for fun or to make slime with. it’s literally the only way some disabled people can drink anything. It’s not a fucking toy

There’s evidence that Palestinians in the mass graves (including babies, children, people in medical scrubs) were buried alive.

I have to wonder if a large part of why people don't talk about 2021/Sheikh Jarrah is because it was ignored and later forgotten by people who are finally aware and using their voices now. I got way more pushback and was blown off for even speaking abt SJ. A lot of "it's not our problem as American blah blah." Now people know better.
Obviously now and then are connected obviously american tax dollars was used for both. People and media just don't want to admit this was very public and there has been a clear lead up of Israeli hostility. It's not surprising though. Media will change narratives overnight like they've been in the right all along and no one bats an eye.
I think that might be the case - I do have a really hard time believing that so many people don’t remember or saw nothing about Sheikh Jarrah or the attacks on Palestinians in Al Aqsa just because of the sure scope of it. 2021 was notable in that way because it was the first time I really saw people talking about Palestine in the mainstream being critical of Israel, despite the consequences. A LOT of people got doxxed in 2021 for supporting Palestine, some of whom I knew that were added to canary mission, so I’m not really surprised about getting blown off.
It is both different and the same now, but despite how many people forgot or just didn’t notice, 2021 was important for a lot of people to really learn about Palestine and dismantle a lot of propaganda they had been fed about us.

Cops are usually only ever brought to enforce violence and never protect anyone, I think the excuse of "fighting antisemitism on campus" is instantly disproven with the massive cop presence because yeah right you'd "waste" state resources on protecting anyone from anything. Hordes of cops only mean you made people mad, not that they want to help anyone.

cishet men will talk about their friendships like "yeah we spent five hours together hanging out and never once asked each other how we're doing or what we've been up to or what's going on with our lives cuz that's how men do friendship 😎👍" or like "we met some dudes and played ultimate frisbee all afternoon and had the time of our lives but we never once told each other our names" like that's completely normal and even admirable and then go on to bitch about male loneliness

i've been sick as hell for months bc life stuff has been A Lot and pushed me into a bad flareup. so things are extra tight rn.
anyways if you wanna help out your local autistic blogger:
i have a food and necessities wishIist that also includes visa and other gifft cards so i can get stuff that isn't available on amazon a walmart card to help w groceries would also make a huge difference. they can be sent anonymously (or not) and start at $5.
i will reblog this post with an update and turn off reblogs if i get enough help that i think I can get by!!
i'm really sorry to be asking when so many ppl are in need but. i am too unfortunately. 😔 thank you for tolerating this post on yr dash!

If you're having trouble keeping up with what's going on in Palestine because of US news coverage of university protests, here are some articles you can read and a video you can watch:
youtube
While CNN & all the other mainstream media try to paint the university protests as "pro terrorism" (which they're not, they're literally anti-war protests.) Palestinians are being slaughtered by the minute.
Please don't stop speaking about Palestine.
