Year of the Alice Day 274
This is my first (and hopefully only) one-year project (which will be only 365 days) and this one is Alice's Adventures in Wonderland-themed.
In this pic, Molly McGee, Scratch and the Cheshire Cat celebrate Cartoon Network's 30th anniversary with Blossom, Bubbles, Buttercup, Finn, Jake, Mordecai, Rigby, Grizz, Panda and Ice Bear with a little Chibiverse flair.
(Note #1: This is also for the 1st anniversary of The Ghost and Molly McGee.) (Note #2: I wanted to add any Mixel, Secret Squirrel, Unikitty, Flapjack, Bloo, Mao-Mao or any Cartoon Network character, but I got too lazy to do it. Sorry.)
Made with Microsoft Paint.
Enjoy! ♠️♥️♣️♦️

Looking back the ending of Gravity Falls while thinking about endings of other series like Amphibia and The Ghost and Molly Mcgee, Weirdmageddon has a message that is underwhelming when it comes to Dipper and Mabel's relationship and Mabel's potrayal in the show.
This isn't about Mabel getting tricked by Bill. She is a 12-13 years old that in that context she was feeling really bad and not thinking well what she was doing. That isn't relevant to the topic at hand and honestly it isn't a problem she did that, it does makes sense in the episode it happened.
Tumblr media
What i have an issue is how the narrative makes Dipper feel bad about considering staying studying with Stanford. This is something that Dipper was interested in and he was very fascinated by anything that was paranormal related. Stanford himself told Dipper he had a lot of potential and the kid was digging into it.
Mabel lashing out and not liking the idea of Dipper staying with Stanford is understandable in the episode Dipper and Mabel vs. the Future. She doesn't seem to have much friends back in her home and her parents are implied to not be the best. She gets scared of Dipper leaving, that's a reasonable fear for a kid to have.
Tumblr media
However, as i mentioned before, Dipper is made feel bad about considering choosing something he wants to do. It isn't Mabel who has to learn that things change and sometimes this brings things we don't like. She doesn't exactly consider what Dipper wants for himself, she mainly cares about how ¨she is going to be alone¨ and making her brother feel selfish for choosing his own path or do something that could make him happy.
Yes, she learns that things can't stay the same forever and they are growing up, that itself is a pretty good development for her and overall a good message to teach.
Yet her being codependent on Dipper doesn't get brought up nor addressed, in fact the series seems to praise this behavior of hers. In how Dipper has to do what she wants if not he is a bad brother. Mabel's clinginess and controlling behaviour to an extent isn't called out, which that itself is a problem.
Small edit: I want to add an extra point here that Mabel does have a short scene near the end of the episode that she tells Dipper that she won't get in his way if he wants to stay with Stanford and she was ¨acting nuts¨ in the dream bubble. This is good for her but it does still feel in part that her issues weren't fully acknowledged and it doesn't help she didn't say this until after Dipper told her that he was going to stay with her and not be with Stanford, which is rather questionable in my opinion. It would have been more appropiate in the episode to have this brought up and getting adressed better than for her to wait for Dipper to do what she wanted.
In contrast in Amphibia, Marcy Wu has a similar arc about change. The series explores how she can take her escapism too far and how she can be very selfish in plenty of ways, something that is potrayed as an aspect she has to learn from and realize that it isn't healthy.
Tumblr media
Her being too codependent on Anne and Sasha and their overall friendship is potrayed as toxic and the series explores this relationship a lot, having the girls grow over time and think about different aspects they have to work on.
In ¨True Colors¨ it is revealed that Marcy Wu learned about the Calamity Box the same day she got told by her parents that they were moving away. Very afraid of having to leave her friends behind and having to be alone in a new city, she found the Calamity Box and told Sasha and Anne about it. Worth of mentioning she didn't know if it would work but it was a desperate act of her just to not having to move away from her friends yet.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
When Sasha and Anne find out about this they are, not surprisingly, very pissed and push from Marcy away for a moment, making Marcy realize her mistake and eventually apologizes for what she did.
Tumblr media
In ¨All In¨ Marcy finally comes to terms with how she can't force Anne and Sasha to be the way she wants them to be and that her codependency on them isn't a good thing. She realizes that has to move away to her new home at some point, that things change but that doesn't mean the three of them have to stop being friends.
As you can see, there is a clear difference between how Mabel Pines and Marcy Wu’s characters and flaws are potrayed in the narrative. While Gravity Falls makes Mabel’s codependency and controlling behaviour to be something acceptable and that Dipper should conform to, Amphibia does the complete opposite and presents Marcy Wu’s actions as flaws she has and that can hurt other people, including her friends. She is the one that has to make a change and understand she has to work on herself if she wants to have new friends and keep these relationships as times moves on.
Since we are on topic, one thing that really bothered me is how Mabel created a version of Dipper that is ¨cool¨ and says yes and goes along with everything she wants to do. (Weirdmageddon Part 2)
Tumblr media
This has… interesting implications of how Mabel believes that relationships should work, or at least with her brother twin Dipper. A lot has to do with how she and Dipper have very different personalities and she maybe wishes that he was more like her, but expecting someone else to say ¨yes¨ to everything you want is a toxic mentality to have. And the episode itself doesn’t address this enough, it doesn’t bring up to Mabel she can’t expect people to work like this and she should try thinking more about what others wants.
Lets talk about The Ghost and Molly Mcgee. In this series Molly Mcgee often has episodes where she has to learn certain lessons. One of them she learns over time is that often she has to give up control and let what others want to do instead.
Tumblr media
A good example of this is ¨Ready, Set, Snow!¨ in which she is constanly trying to make Libby and Scratch to go and play outside in the snow with her without considering they would rather stay inside and sit near the fire for the moment. She spends most of the episode trying to find ways to make them go outside until she gets angry and goes out on her own. She has… quite of a mental breakdown in a sequence song. Scratch goes to check on her but he tells to her that she can’t do always what she wants and what it is important is for her to be spending time with her friends. Molly realizes she was wrong, goes back to the house and she apologizes for how she acted.
Molly has quite a lot of episodes like this, and all this becomes important in the series finale ¨The End¨ when she sees that Scratch has to go back to be Todd even if that means forgetting the memories he got as a ghost, her included. She tells Scratch that she is going to miss him a lot but she knows that forcing Scratch to stay wouldn’t be right. She encourages Scratch to go and ¨live his life¨ because she cares about Scratch being happy.
Tumblr media
Similar to Marcy Wu, Molly learns that she can’t force people to do what she wants and she has to let them choose for themselves. She knows that encouraging Scratch to do what he always wanted to do as human is the right thing to do, even if it means saying goodbye to him.
I do understand the idea that Gravity Falls was doing at with something among the lines of ¨Dipper and Mabel not repeating the same mistakes that their uncles did¨ but that doesn’t mean Dipper has to give up his dreams at expense of what Mabel wants. As Dipper said in VS The Future episode: he can still visit and they can still talk to each other. They don’t have to fall apart the same way Standford and Stan did. Just like in Amphibia, if Marcy still was able to remain friends with Anne and Sasha over the years, the same can be applied to Dipper and Mabel as siblings.
If not, it could be rewritten in a way that makes Dipper reconsider that he would like to wait a few years before joining Stanford in his adventures. That he is still a kid and wants to spend a while longer figuring himself out and be with Mabel before making a decision. That way it feels more like a decision he wants to do for himself and goes along with his character arc that he doesn’t have to rush to grow up.
As for Mabel, she has a lot of growing up to do. She has to learn overtime that Dipper is his own person and he can take is own path. That if she wants to have friends or have in general healthy relationships with others, she can’t make it always about herself and people have their own needs as well. She would have to work on her codependency and clinginess she has on others, specially her own brother. This would help her with being a more mature capable individual when she grows up.
This post on itself isn’t me hating on Mabel’s character since she has moments she can be good and i feel a lot of her behaviour comes from not being taught properly and being a teenager. The problem is that the series doesn’t address this behaviour enough and, as result, it comes off as the series giving an unintentional underwhelming message of potraying Mabel’s issues as something that should be acceptable and not her having a dynamic with Dipper that comes off as toxic. It is important to understand to learn to support others and not always make things about ourselves. That sometimes relationships change and we can’t force people to be in a specific way.

If you are still taking questions, could I ask about Uryuu? Or Mizuiro, I have always loved him and wanted to see more of him.
The day after The Stabbing Incident in which Ichigo's Shinigami Powers were activated, Lunchtime:
--
"Rukia!" Ichigo called from the door. "We got a club meeting!"
"What? Oh, right!" She giggled, all bubbly persona, which immediately vanished in the hall "-You signed me up for a club? Ichigo, you know I don't have time for extracurriculars!"
"Calm down, this one doesn't assign homework. We just meet on the roof for lunch." He explained, marching resolutely against the stream of traffic in the hall.
"Oh? Up to something illicit are you?" Rukia teased, ducking behind him to avoid being swept away.
"Nah, we just meet on the roof so Kon can join us." Ichigo shrugged kicking open the door to the roof.
" 'SUP NERDS!" Ichigo bellowed affectionately at the gaggle of teenagers already assembled on the roof. "Okay Rukia, this is the "I Can See Ghosts And It fucking Sucks Club", guys, this is Rukia."
"Hi miss Rukia!" Waved a readheaded girt that puberty had hit like a truck.
"-Rukia is a shinigami like the freak that used to live in my dad's attic, and last night one of those bigass monster ghosts attacked my fuckin' house and Rukia kinda accidentally-on-purpose stabbed me and now I got fuckin' shinigami powers, which is mostly being able to ditch my body and summon a bigass sword to kill the monster ghosts with."
Those assembled stared at him in silence.
There was a rattle and Kon appeared at the top of the chain-link fence around the roof. "You know Ichigo, I think I know why your Literature class grades suck." the cat sighed. "Rukia got injured and used her magic sword to transfer her powers to Ichigo to fight off the hollow, and accidentally gave him too much and now she's stuck here until the Shinigami skills bleed back out of Ichigo."
"Ohhhhh..." the group nodded.
"-By stabbing me." Added Ichigo. "I feel like the stabbing part is being lowballed here."
"Welp. time to reset the counter." Sighed a lightly disheveled young man with brown hair, and the youthful looking lad with black hair beside him opened his laptop, typed for a few seconds and then turned the screen to show the group a digital counter that read
DAYS SINCE OUR LAST SUPERNATURAL NONSENSE AND/OR GRIEVOUS BODILY INJURY: 0
Previous streak: 17.324 Days.
"Thanks. Very helpful." Sighed Ichigo. "Tweedle Dee and tweedle Dumbass here are Mizurio and Keigo."
Ichigo pointed to the brunette. "Keigo here comes from a long-ass line of psychics and has been documenting every instance of supernatural activity in Karkura town going back to the middle ages since he was like. Ten? Don't let the fact that he's deliberately failing out of school fool you, he's probably the world's most brilliant moron."
"Iiiiiichigoooo, why you gotta make me sound like a loser in front of the actual-factual ghost girl?" Keigo whined.
"I'll stop making you sound like a loser when you stop being a loser." Ichigo huffed, and pointed to the black-haired youth beside him. "Babyface McGee here is Mizurio, he's our other technology geek, and he can cast Summon Gun."
"Pleasure to meet you Miss Rukia!" Mizurio said, extending his hand politely. "If you need some armament against the- what did you say they were called? Hollows? - I can provide you with something. First one's on the house, as my Uncle says."
"Oh!" Laughed Rukia. "By 'summon gun' you mean you have a way of purchasing weapons! I thought for a second you had the magical ability to spontaneously manifest guns or something ridiculous like that!"
The group collectively grimaced at her, except for the silent Giant, who was too busy snuggling Kon.
"Have you ever fired a weapon like a handgun Miss Rukia?" Mizurio asked holding his hand up beside his head, as though holding up an invisible object.
"Uh." Said Rukia, staring at his hand. ""...No."
"In that case I'm going to reccomend a Glock-17 lightweight pistol-" Mizurio nodded, and a small, bright blue light ignited in his palm, swirling and drawing Reishi into it, forming a physical object.
"-it's very reliable and easy to sight accurately, and doesn't have much of a kickback so I'm confident you'll only need a little practice to be able to handle it reliably!" He smiled cheerfully as the object finished manifesting in his hand, and he easily unloaded it with a practiced motion, set the saftey out of habit and offered it to Rukia to inspect.
"UH." Said Rukia, recoiling from the weapon with alarm.
"Oh don't worry!" Mizurio chirped. "Any gun that I make- And I make them, not summon them- has infinite ammo once the clip is loaded, and it's perfectly effective against hollows! You'll be perfectly fine using it!"
"I- You- I mean-" Rukia sputtered, staring wide-eyed at the gun. "-Did you. Learn? to do this?"
"Hm-..." Mizurio frowned at the gun. "Well, I've gotten better at it over time, but it's not like anyone taught me, if that's what you mean."
"Uh-huh." Rukia nodded, teeth bared in an attempt at a smile that completely failed. "You. Uh. You got any German ancestry?"
"Oh, I wouldn't know!" Mizurio laughed. "I don't actually know who my father is, and I strongly suspect he doesn't know his father either! Why?"
"...Mizurio, I think you're a Quincy."
---
Downstairs in the lunchtime meeting of the Karkura High School Crafts Club, Uryuu Ishida sneezed in the middle of a demonstration of different stitch types, and knocked over a large bottle of glitter, coating the entire room.
"...That's a bad omen if I ever saw one." Muttered one of the girls, sparkling.
---
"What's a Quincy?" Mizurio asked.
"It's a- Okay, before I start an explanation, is there anyone else here with weird supernatural powers?" Rukia asked.
There was a whirl of energy behind her and she turned to see the Silent Giant that had been cradling Kon had manifested a strange, sleek armor over his right arm. Kon was still cradled like a very spoiled infant in his left arm, purring.
"Hi. I'm Sado Yasutora, but I go by Chad." he spoke, voice barely above a mumble as he cautiously peeked up at Rukia through his bangs. "This is my punchin' arm."
"...Great." Whimpered Rukia.

HELP I CAN'T STOP READING WHAT I WROTE IM GIDDY LEG KICKS MCGEE OVER HERE could I request a prequel of how the boys got with their gf? Were any of them nervous?
I’m guessing you mean with the bombshell GF? That’s what I’ll do so lmk if that’s not what you meant.
How AOT boys got with their GF
Levi
Levi is the type to not show how’s he feeling. He would start out as friends with a girl, he wouldn’t date someone right off the bat.
He’d get to know you on a deeper level. He’d think you were beautiful. More beautiful than anyone he’d ever seen. But he’d push that away, he couldn’t admit to such things.
Once he finally got to know you and start falling for you he would try to avoid it at first. He’d try to push that feeling to the back of his mind. He had better things to worry about than dumb feelings or dumb love. He didn’t have time to have a gf.
Eventually he wouldn’t be able to deal with it anymore. He’d start treating you kindly, a lot nicer than most everyone else. Hange would tell you he liked you back, but you couldn’t believe Captain Levi would actually be interested in you. Humanity’s strongest soldier? Interested in you. But Hange swore it. Said “Trust me. He’s nicer to you than anyone. He even makes you tea. He likes you. Go for it.”
So you had nothing to lose. One night after training, you found him tending to the horses. You’d confess your feelings, fumbling over your words. “You like me?” he repeated back to you. It was obvious to everyone that you did, everyone except him. He’d be a little shocked but he’d play it off. “Yeah. I mean I guess I like you too..brat.” He’d say. Things would go from there, blossoming into something special.
Eren
Eren couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw you at dinner. You were the prettiest girl he’d ever seen. He knew he had to talk to you. He wasn’t shy about introducing himself. He’d sit right next to you and start a conversation. It would be fairly obvious he was checking you out.
When Eren wants something he doesn’t stop his means to get it. That would include you. He’d do the pursuing for awhile. It was actually adorable. He’d hold out your chair for you, ask you if you wanted more tea. Just little things to try to woo you.
It worked. You were interested in him from the moment he sat next to you. All his little acts of kindness, the bond you both shared in your blossoming friendship. You felt like it was love at first sight honestly.
“You’re so beautiful.” He said, one night after dinner while you were taking a walk along the cobblestone streets. You remember the heat that you felt between you. Like this big bubble of tension waiting to be popped. “I know Eren.” You say “I feel the same dummy. You should…” before you could finish he’d pressed his lips to yours. Your first kiss, you felt like fireworks were going off inside you. It was that night you started your relationship, and you knew you’d be with him forever.
Jean
When Jean first saw you he couldn’t breathe. Literally. He actually held his breathe for a second. He watched you walk by him and he couldn’t believe someone as beautiful as you existed. He knew from that first sight he wanted you. He had to know you.
So that’s what he did. Every chance he got, got to know you. He wanted to know everything about you. You were shocked honestly, a guy like him giving you so much attention. You thought he was handsome, and so funny and so kind. You relished in the attention, you loved every bit of your time spent together.
It was pretty obvious that you both liked each other, to everyone but Jean. He’d give you all this attention, spend all this time with you. But he didn’t think you liked him back. So he never tried to kiss you, never asked you out. You didn’t understand, he acted like he liked you. Got jealous when any other guys even looked at you. So what was stopping him.
One day you asked him. You guys were playing cards in his room, something you always did to pass the boredom. “Jean. You like me right?” You asked. His cheeks immediately flushed red. He tried to speak but it came out as a stutter “W-what?” “I like you to Jean and I want us to be more than friends.” Once you told him he couldn’t contain his excitement. You guys were even more inseparable after that.
Reiner
Reiner thought you were gorgeous upon seeing you. He didn’t really think he had time for love though, so he tried to put it on the back burner.
But as you guys became comrades, and friends he realized you were more than just a pretty girl and he’d start to notice he wanted to spend more time with you. He’d stay late and help you clean up when Captain Levi made you do it all over again cause you weren’t “cleaning it well enough”. He’d help you with one on one combat training. He’d teach you how his tricks on using ODM gear. During this time you started to fall for him to.
You started with a really great bond. You were very close friends, you knew almost everything about each other. He could be himself with you and he cherished that.
One night you were stargazing. Something you loved to do that Reiner started to appreciate through you. He was looking at you, how you glowed in the moonlight. How beautiful you looked with the backdrop of the stars.
“Can I kiss you.” He asked out of the blue. You giggled and looked at him, took his hand in yours. “I thought you’d never ask.”

It’s my first time posting my writing. Go easy on me!
A Reckless Encounter
I've always been a fighter. From the moment I took my first breath in this chaotic world, I learned to battle against the odds that life threw at me. It wasn't easy, though. Growing up with an abusive father, I sought refuge in drugs and alcohol, drowning my sorrows in a haze of self-destruction.
But life had a funny way of throwing curveballs. One fateful night, my reckless ways caught up with me, and I found myself being arrested. As luck would have it, instead of languishing in a jail cell, I was given a chance at redemption in the Marines as an Automotive Maintenance Technician.
The Marines whipped me into shape, physically and mentally, and instilled within me a sense of discipline. After years of service, I decided to embark on a new journey as a field agent for Gibbs’ NCIS team. Gibbs, was an enigma—gruff, tough, and intriguing. And damn, did he stir something within me.
We clashed like thunder and lightning, our arguments a constant symphony in the bullpen. He berated me for my reckless behavior, and I shot back with my signature stubbornness. But beneath our heated exchanges, there were sparks of chemistry, a magnetic pull that had us tiptoeing the line between professionalism and desire.
One day, during a particularly tense mission, I made a costly mistake. Gibbs threatened to strip me of my field duties.
The team, briefing room. Now," he barks, his voice firm and commanding.
I walk into the room, feeling the weight of Gibbs' gaze burning into the back of my head. Tony and McGee sit on one side, exchanging playful banter. Ziva stands off to the side, her eyes flickering with curiosity.
Gibbs glares at me as he enters, his eyes filled with a mix of annoyance and concern. I try to avoid his gaze, but it's like a magnet drawing me in.
"Y/n," he starts, his deep voice cutting through the tension.
I take a deep breath, mentally preparing myself for the onslaught of reprimands.
"You made a mistake out there. A big one," Gibbs continues, his voice low and controlled.
I clench my fists, feeling the anger bubbling up inside me. I refuse to let him treat me like a child.
"You can't keep going out on field ops if you're gonna put the whole team at risk," he growls. I feel a surge of adrenaline rush through my veins. This is it. The moment I've been waiting for. The moment where all my pent-up frustrations come to the surface
But I didn’t! Quit treating me like a damn rookie!" I shouted. "So either take me off field ops or get the hell off my back."
Gibbs looked like he wanted to slap me upside the head. But instead, he just glared and walked out without another word.
~time skip cause I’m lazy lmao”
Suddenly, my phone buzzes. A new case. I glance at Gibbs. But his steely gaze is fixed on me. Not in anger, but something else entirely. Gibbs breaks the silence. "Alright, Y/L/N, you think you can handle this mission?" Gibbs asked, his voice laced with skepticism. I knew he was questioning my abilities, but I wasn't about to back down.
"Of course I can, Gibbs," I replied, my voice dripping with confidence. "I've been through worse."
Gibbs narrowed his eyes at me, clearly not amused. "Don't let your recklessness get in the way. We're dealing with dangerous criminals here."
I smirked at him, unable to resist pushing his buttons. "Would you prefer me to be cautious and boring?” Gibbs stepped closer. Our nose were millimetres apart. His icy blue eyes filled with rage. “Watch your tone, Y/L/N.” I took a second to process what he said before I smirked and said “Are we gonna fight or make out because I’m getting some mixed signals here, Jet.”
Gibbs froze, his jaw dropping slightly. I could practically see the gears turning in his head as he processed my words. But before he could respond, I turned on my heel and walked away, leaving him speechless.
As the days turned into weeks, the tension between us grew. We argued, we clashed, and yet, there was an unspoken connection, a chemistry that neither of us could deny. We went through the motions, burying our feelings under Gibbs' infamous Rule Twelve.
But fate has a way of knocking sense into us when we least expect it. On one particularly dangerous assignment, I found myself in a life-or-death situation. The fear gripped me as I looked into the eyes of mortality.
And in that moment, it hit me like a ton of bricks. I couldn't hold back my feelings any longer.
As I lay there, battered and bruised, Gibbs rushed to my side. His voice was filled with worry as he yelled my name. And in a hoarse whisper, I confessed, "I don't want to die without you knowing how I feel."
And just like that, the floodgates opened. Gibbs confessed his own feelings, his voice shaking with emotion.
We had fought, we had argued, and we had danced around each other for so long. But in that moment, we both knew that love had a funny way of finding us in the midst of chaos.
The end
