so. i know wan isnt canon(?) but i did some rough estimation and calculation of the bsd timeline and character ages. let’s take dazai for example. he was 18 in 2008/2009. take this with a grain of salt bc it’s not canon/confirmed, jus my own theory and im not very good at explaining plz bear w me!!! also im sure asagiri himself will read and approve wan before it publishes so i guess this can be taken into account??

if bsdverse took place in 2013 that means dark era was in 2009 cuz 2013 – 4 . also in wan anime ango said the year was Ox and yknow when the year of ox is?! 2021-12 = 2009. dark era was in 2009 and dazai is 18 in 2009 which makes him a 1991 baby.

however, the wan manga showed it to be the year of the rat, which is 2008, which means he’s a 1990 baby. so really it’s a plus/minus one year thing. and it also makes sense to be a plus minus thing cuz it wasnt confirmed what timeline bsdverse is in. all we know it’s around 2012/2013 in the current timeline because bsd was published around that time and we’re just gonna assume it that way. i hope i dont sound dumb but jus do your maths!!!
