I'm sorry but how does anyone think that RIMBAUD would be the shy/inexperienced one in a relationship vs VERLAINE the literal man made being who hasn't properly experienced anything before
Like you're telling me Verlaine wouldnt crumple like a soda can in a hydraulic press and be hyperventilating in the corner, clothes messed up, hair in disarray at being called "Honey" for the first time but Rimbaud would???????????

Actually now that I'm thinking about it, rimlaine makes a way better senior gen of soukoku than fukumori does. There are WAYYY stronger parallels.
Theres more angst, sure. But like??? Rimlaine crawled so Soukoku could walk.
They HAVE to be some sort of skk variant. They literally have to.
I don't make the rules.

The life of a spy is taxing on the mind

I'd imagine Arthur had his nights of just getting overwhelmed by everything going on around him..

Rimlaine but it's one-sided (or not) because Rimbaud loves Verlaine so much, he doesn't feel it to be right to confess, as he is the one person Verlaine can rely on and trust no matter what, and he doesn't want to ruin that for him, while Verlaine does genuinely not realise what he feels for Rimbaud is romantic, until their final talk, when its too late.
