Princess Anisha's shadow while volunteering at the Social Kitchen was a little boy named Mateen. At the end of the day she called her husband so that little Mateen could talk to Prince Mateen. I don't speak Malay but according to other people on social media Prince Mateen asked what they were cooking and little Mateen responded that he didn't cook. He said that he was with his mom and Princess Anisha so Prince Mateen teased him by asking if he was lazy. Then Prince Mateen asked if Princess Anisha was being lazy with him and little Mateen said no she cut the chicken earlier.
10th January 2024 // Prince Abdul Mateen’s partner Anisha Rosnah during the powdering ceremony, a traditional part of the Bruneian wedding festivities encouraging fertility and wealth.
TIARA ALERT: Anisha Isa Kalebic wore a diamond tiara for her wedding to Prince Mateen of Brunei at Istana Nurul Iman in Bandar Seri Begawan on 14 January 2024.
I just realized Prince Mateen of Brunei is not the heir/crown prince of Brunei. He's always with the Sultan on trips and for some reason I thought he was the CP but with all the wedding coverage I realized he's not. Do you or any of your followers know is it just because he's the youngest son or is he the favorite that he travels so much with his dad?
Yeah we had this exact conversation in Episode 84 of the podcast because he is definitely the most well known of the Sultan’s children so I always forget he isn’t heir. He did have another son, Abdul Azim, who was better known because he hung out with tons of Hollywood stars but he died in 2020 sadly. Abdul Mateen is not actually the youngest son - there’s a younger one in his late teens. I also don’t really follow the family that closely so maybe the older sons just don’t seek out the limelight but let’s be honest. We know the reason. This is the Crown Prince on the left and Abdul Mateen on the right. People want to look at Mateen more lol:
Princess Anisha's tiara was designed by Singaporean jewellery designer Roslind Ng.
The tiara, made entirely of 18-karat gold and embellished with 838 diamonds – including 38 square-shaped, 14 oval-shaped, 19 pear-shaped, and 767 round brilliant-cut diamonds.
