Mr. Bates vs The Post Office (2024)
One of the greatest miscarriages of justice in British legal history where hundreds of innocent sub-postmasters and postmistresses were wrongly accused of theft, fraud and false accounting due to a defective IT system.
This show is all based on a true story and it will make your blood boil and make you very angry at the injustice. This is still ongoing and you will not believe how long it has taken for the innocent postmasters and postmistresses to get this level of coverage. A must watch. If you are not in Britain, it will still be worth watching if you read up a little bit on the 'Horizon Post Office Scandal'. It really is just so wrong what has happened.

Rebound/love triangle arc in series 3 with a Black girl, the main white guy & a blonde
Has a 4th series in 2008-9 that's considered the peak of the show where a fan favourite female main character goes through a major traumatic event that shakes the fandom forever
Series 7 split into separate parts with 2 groups of main characters and separate arcs
Has an 8th series with a Scottish lead that divides fans and a gruesome character death in the finale
Has a 10th series soft reboot with underrated characters that unfortunately get 1 series of screentime

The Derry girls finale was so good! The last lines being the girls trying to pimp out James! Michelle and Erin's fight! Orla being Orla! The considerations of the good Friday agreement! Sister Michael telling the Bishop to piss of and Clare being a little lesbian Legend! The call backs to other moments in the series! I'm gonna miss this show so much!
Anyone who hasn't seen this show k really recommend giving it a go. Few shows can mix a troubled setting with humor and do such a genuine coming of age story for young girls. I grew up with a civil war going on in Sri Lanka and it captures what it's like being a teenager coming of age in a time like that....the strange mundanity of such atrocities becoming normalised in your mind so you get in with life but knowing how horrible things our....Derry girls is just...such a good show.

Funny Woman (2023-)
🎬It's the height of the 60s and Barbara Parker has just been crowned Miss Blackpool, but she is sure there is more to life than being a beauty queen in a seaside town. London is calling, but it is not quite as swinging as she expected.
📝A jolly good surprise this one. This is a sweet, feel good show set in the 60s and they raise interesting topics. It has some hilarious moments and I think Gemma Arterton is brilliant in this role (on a side note, she reminded me of Barbie more than Margot Robbie!).
Check it out if you like comedy and enjoy the 60s aesthetic.
Apart from Arterton, I really found the character played by Rupert Everett hilarious, also good to see Matthew Beard (he is excellent in everything) and Arsher Ali also did an excellent job and is it just me or does Tom Bateman look like Roger Federer?
The show has been renewed for the second season.
