- While he considers himself the devil, Bender is actually an angel in a demons clothing, he just shows it in a wrong way and sins, yet, doesn't intentionally commit murder or anything and deeply cares about his friends, this was why he was going to be accepted into robot heaven

- He has a book on sassy remarks and a book about "yo mama" jokes in his memory account (do NOT get into a roast battle with him)

- He likes to hold hands with Fry or Leela when he's anxious or bored

- This is canon, but he colors in coloring books and hangs them on the wall so everyone can be proud of him

- HELLA GAY for his idols

- Whenever he wants attention, he'll curl up at the person's feet and just put on all his weight until they give him it

- Fry helps him get better at cooking, now everything he makes is actually edible and good

- Bender has self esteem issues and self care issues, he just sometimes completely ignores need for fuel and stays sober

I just think it’s interesting that in Bender’s Big Score, Bender is super excited to get mind controlled by the horny nude aliens and do their bidding. He actively helps them take over Planet Express and then the world.

He doesn’t even try to resist it at all he just lets it happen and even downloads the virus willingly (because he’s a dumbass, but still). The only time he tries to resist it at all is when he’s ordered to kill Fry, and he was pretty much enjoying it up until that point.

Even the title “Bender’s Big Score” is misleading because Bender doesn’t even steal all that stuff for himself. He steals it for someone else and doesn’t even complain about this.

All of this is to say that Bender has extreme bottom energy in this movie and is very weak-willed. Despite the lady’s man reputation Bender tries to uphold, he can’t hide the fact that he secretly wants to be absolutely rawdogged.

Surprisingly, Magi-Chan has been bumped from the above-the-title billing, even though he does just as much if not more in this issue than the last one.

Magi, Sonichu and Chris fly back through time, dates flying back behind them. Remember for a second that the trio left on 2 Nov 2007, but several of the visible dates are from past that point (some of the dates on the far left and bottom even spill over into 2008), since Chris wrote this comic in early 2008 and all of those dates were in the past by the time he wrote the comic.

I didn’t bother to transcribe each and every one of those dates but especially as you get closer to the top right, the less random the dates get - up in the top right we have 1 Jan 2000 (with a label reading “Y2K Scare” that takes up half the bubble), 11 Sept 2001, and 17 March 2000, the day Chris created Sonichu, marked with a black circle or spider or something. Even throughout the entire bubble field the dates of many holidays show up, among the 2007 dates we have New Year’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Chris’s birthday (24 Feb 2007), Sonichu’s birthday (17 March 2007), the 4th of July, Halloween, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve.

In the background is visible one Bender Bending Rodriguez, the beloved robot icon of the adult animated sitcom Futurama, a show Chris was binge watching while writing this episode. It’s likely this Bender is the same, Terminator-inspired mind-controlled Bender from the direct-to-DVD movie Bender’s Big Score, wherein series protagonist Philip J. Fry, a 20th Century average joe who was cryogenically frozen on 31 Dec 1999, travels back in time to right after he was frozen and Bender is sent back in time to kill him. I think that blue thing in his hand is the ray gun he uses in that film. For another nice plot hole for ya, Bender’s Big Score wasn’t released until 27 Nov 2007, another four weeks after this episode is supposed to take place.

This is where I stand on the 45th President, his power hungry cronies taking positions of authority in his Cabinet and administration, and the majority of Republicans in Congress are a real and active threat to me, my way of life, and all the people I love. Some people are saying that we should give Trump a chance, that we should "work together" with him because he won the election and he is "everyone's president." The Eurobasket elimination round is set. What is it?

Greece and Ukraine won big games to advance to the Round of 16.

After a week’s worth of nonstop international action, the knockout round of Eurobasket 2017 is finally set.

What is Eurobasket?

It’s the biggest European basketball competition of the year, every year, and this was its 40th anniversary. Eurobasket is a 24-team tournament hosted in four countries — this year: Finland, Israel, Romania and Turkey — that determines which teams will qualify for the 2019 FIBA World Cup.

How did we get to the Knockout Round?

Teams from each group play a total of five games against one another. Like a standardized test, each team is awarded one point for showing up and another if they win the game.

The object of the tournament, up until the knockout round, is to land in the top four of your group by accruing more points than the other teams.

But group standing is also determined by other factors, including total number of points scored, point differential (points scored minus points allowed) and, of course, head-to-head results against group opponents.

That’s why Ukraine, dead last in Group B with a 1-3 record Wednesday morning, could have/did leapfrog Georgia in the standings after defeating Israel, and why Czech Republic — outscored by 47 points over four games — still ranks first in Group C with a 4-0 record.

Seven of 16 teams have been seeded: Spain, Croatia, Germany, France, Slovenia, Lithuania and Finland. After the group competition is finished, the seeded teams face-off in an elimination style tournament for gold.

Sixteen of the 24 teams competing in Eurobasket 2017 feature NBA talent, including two All-Stars (one current, one former) and some of the league’s top young players.

The United States played and won gold in the FIBA AmeriCup with Jeff Van Gundy coaching a group of G-League stars. You can read more about that here, but they’ve secured their spot in the 2019 FIBA World Cup, too.

OK ... so what happened on Wednesday?

Greece eliminated Poland

Greece could have found itself on the outside of the knockout round, a situation that would have stunned their fans after Giannis Antetokounmpo pulled out from Eurobasket competition due to knee pain. But thanks to 24 points and 10 assists from former Grizzlies point guard Nick Calathes, Greece pulled off a dominant 95-77 victory that included a 26-14 second quarter and a 25-10 final period.

Greece has secured itself in a Round of 16 matchup against a tough opponent in Lithuania.

Ukraine leapfrogs Georgia

At the start of the day, Georgia held fourth place in Group B with a 2-2 record while Ukraine was dead last at 1-3. But with Georgia’s two-point loss to Italy and Ukraine’s 24-point blowout over Israel, the two countries were tied for the Round of 16.

Unfortunately, even though Georgia had more total points scored and a higher point differential, they lost to Ukraine, 88-81, in their third game of the tournament. Because of that head-to-head loss and a tied record, Ukraine moves on to the Round of 16

What happens next?

We know who’s made it to the knockout round, but Groups C and D still have games left to be played. And while those games mean absolutely nothing to the four teams on the outside of the Round of 16 looking in, it could determine seeding for several teams at the bottom of their group.

For example, Serbia, Latvia and Russia are each tied in Group D with 3-1 records and six points, with Turkey lurking in the back with a 2-2 record and six points. But while Serbia plays Belgium (1-3) and Russia plays winless Great Britain, Latvia (D2) and Turkey (D4) go head-to-head in a game that could shake up their seeding for the knockout round.
