Located in the Mid-Coast Region of #Maine on the Atlantic, #BoothbayHarbor, Maine has been a tourist destination since the 1880s. This cute #coastal town only has about 2,200 permanent residents. You would never know it though, from how many people are walking the streets in the #summer months! Talk about a hot tourist destination.

When you visit a popular coastal tourist town during the middle of winter the vibe is totally different than July. Most slips sit as vacant as the parking spaces do. You'll see the occasional local drive by or walk past, but aside from that, it's complete desolation. A few of the seaside businesses have their lights on and open signs visible, but most are in hibernation mode until tourist season begins again. Even though the harbor sat empty of the typical summer watercraft, I still enjoyed grabbing some aerials of this sleepy town's waterfront. Only a few more months until this, and other harbors begin to waken again.
