ㅤㅤㅤㅤthe battle of a woman was waged in her birthing bed, surrounded by blood and sweat. alicent hightower forced herself to accept this reality when her father officially made her a political pawn in an endless game of manipulations. the prize was the hightower blood immortalized in the twisted metal of swords forming the iron throne.
ㅤㅤㅤㅤaegon was an easy birth, without concerns. fragile helaena presented herself to the world silently, carrying a tranquility that would follow her later. and y/n was fire and blood —perfectly embodying the words of her house, her father's house.
ㅤㅤㅤㅤconsidered a jewel in the eyes of the court and engraved in the memory of popular imagination, y/n was the third child of the union between viserys targaryen and alicent of house hightower. she inherited her father's gentle and pacifistic nature, trying to cling to blood ties to avoid conflicts.
ㅤㅤㅤㅤ(and when her mother whispered in her ear that helaena—or even she—would be the queen, the young girl looked away, coldly ignoring the treacherous poison. however, in her heart, she lacked the strength to stop loving her mother.)
ㅤㅤㅤㅤshe was often seen in the company of her siblings, helaena and daeron. despite loving and respecting her relatives equally, aegon made her feel disproportionately uncomfortable, and aemond easily left her aside, seeking acceptance from rhaenyra targaryen's children for not having a dragon.
ㅤㅤㅤㅤ"no, thank you!" y/n declined with a plastic smile when her mother suggested accompanying aegon to keep him in line. "i promised to help my sister, with little joffrey."
ㅤㅤㅤㅤand, as usual, she pretended not to feel the dissatisfaction emanating from the queen at the mention of the realm's delight.
ㅤㅤㅤㅤcriston cole made it his personal mission to escort the princess to the vicinity of princess rhaenyra's chambers. and she had to admit that he at least tried to conceal the growing disdain in his stern features. he even managed to control his cruel tongue, much to the young princess's relief. deep down, she was aware of the vision cole had crafted regarding her: immaculate, chaste, and flawless.
ㅤㅤㅤㅤthe maiden herself.
ㅤㅤㅤㅤy/n's confidant, addam celtigar, chuckled upon hearing the youngest princess's account. his broad shoulders shook violently as whispers flowed through her lips, revealing an unpleasant revelation.
ㅤㅤㅤㅤ"and who will protect our little princess from criston cole?" addam inquired, not losing his characteristic good humor.
ㅤㅤㅤㅤ"you're terrible!" there were no courtesies or falsehoods between them. there never were.

If you are into characters you would burn the world for love, and also if you are into reading fantasy stuff: I do recommend reading a song of ice and fire. Like idk maybe you won't like it, but me thinks someone would love book! Jon snow ( not show! Jon snow because fuck that guy). But book!jon...yeah...yeah man. Yeah.
Aren't those books like a 1,000 pages long? I know it's an exaggeration, but not much of an exaggeration.
I hate to say this, but I've never actually seen Game of Thrones and I never had any desire to. I know the show is based on those books, right? How slow is it? How is the pacing? I'm not too fond of fantasy, at least not that kind of fantasy. Epic fantasy is mostly a miss for me. Anything similar to Lord of the Rings is not my cup of tea.
I may give it a chance one day but my attention span is probably not going to let me read a book that long. Especially if nothing exciting actually happens until midway through. For instance, I loved The Expanse (both the books and the show) but it didn't take long for the excitement to start happening in those books. I think things started kicking off right around the 3rd chapter or so.

The Loss of Magic in Adaptations
I've noticed that in a lot of media (TV shows, movies, some books) it's such a popular trend to end the story by removing the magic or supernatural elements. Now in movies like HTTYD this is played as a separation for the betterment of both the magical (the dragons) and the normal, but they are still able to interact at times. Others, like BBC's Merlin, have the loss of magic as a tragedy or a consequence of the character's actions. Yet others, like LOTR, simply have it as a sign of a shift to a new age. All of these examples I don't have an issue with, the ones I do are when the loss of magic creates plot holes, messes up character arcs, and rewriting the world building. What I'm going to focus on in this post are the decision to remove magic and the supernatural from Game of Thrones and the Star Wars franchise.
The first example I'll give is Game of Thrones. The AOIAF books are full of magic, from glass candles to forest witches to ice zombies and dragons. In the adaptation, the show runners made the decision to remove most of the magical elements. This decision not only removes major plot points, it also takes away from the characters themselves. For example, Euron Greyjoy from the books possesses a dragon binder of Old Valyria, is going to Old Town to take the magic glass candles from the Citadel, and wants to bring about the apocalypse. In the show, since they took away the magical elements of his story, he is simply a man who wants power and a good fuck. He is completely undermined as a character and turned into an ineffective villain. Another example is the character Quaithe. She is a shadowbinder from Asshai who visits Daenerys through visions throughout the series and encourages her to visit Asshai. She has been set up as important to the future of Daenerys' character and her future with the dragons. In the show, however, she is reduced to saying a single line to Jorah in one episode about how Daenerys needs protection in Qarth. Speaking of Qarth, GOT completely removed Daenerys' prophetic visions in the House of the Undying, basically removing a major part of her Qarth storyline. These decisions among many others negatively impact the show and it was only done to appeal to "normal" people in the audience (ie, non fantasy nerds).
Star Wars is another franchise that suffers from some kind of distaste for supernatural elements. Star Wars is not usually thought of as a magical, but let's be real here, the Force functions as a magical system and it is a supernatural element, so I'm counting it. Dave Filoni has done a lot to pull SW back into the very supernatural story it was in the original and prequel trilogies, with the focus on the Force and Force-users in the Clone Wars, Rebels, and Ahsoka shows. However, this seems kind of pointless because of the sequel trilogy. I've done a post on this, where I basically said that the sequel trilogy makes the world building Filoni is doing kind of obsolete. I won't rehash that here, instead I'm going to talk about how the force itself is portrayed. At the time of the sequels, the Force has returned to turmoil despite Anakin's sacrifice. The Jedi are all but extinct and the sith are rising again. By the end, Rey has decided the Jedi must stay gone and the galaxy is left with a massive power vacuum after the fall of the New Republic and the First Order. The Jedi are meant to be protectors of the balance of the Force, clearly they lost sight of that during the Old Republic and Luke in the sequels has also failed. Yes, perhaps the Jedi as a name or religion should fall, but their ultimate goal is still proven to be necessary. Yet, there is no set up for a continuation of that goal; Finn is not training his abilities, nor does he seem to want to and Rey agrees the Jedi should be gone but there is no conversation about what should happen now. There is also a clear lack of the Force in the galaxy. In the original trilogy, this is explained by the Empire's efforts to take force sensitive children and turn them into Inquisitors as well as it's goal of suppressing powers that could oppose them. Yet there is no growth of the Force now that it is rebalanced and unsuppressed. It's fading, just like magic in stories like LOTR, but the Force is meant to be an all-encompassing thing that extends beyond just Force sensitive creatures. Therefore, making it so the Force is fading into obscurity is rewriting what is supposed to be a concrete truth of the franchise.
There are other examples of this desire to remove magic (and magic adjacent things) from media. Like taking the inherent magic surrounding the elves in Rings of Power and removing the elves and dwarves from the Eragon movie. There's nothing wrong with magic and the supernatural, especially when it's such an integral part of the story.

I'm glad your liking writing books but wondered if you could tell what you had planned for yours before I knew? Saw an old post that you were planning something longer and curious. Thanks and good luck with your writing career
Hey Anon!
Thanks for the message and sorry it took me a bit to reply. I am enjoying writing romance novels very much but I do regret having to put that story idea on hold indefinitely.
What did I have planned? Um... *nervous sweating*... it was going to be a Rhaegar-won, Jon was still a bastard but raised at court but also sent North for a time/ salty teens pushed into an arranged marriage AU with lots of intrigue and plotting with Cersei as the villain but Rhaegar no better than her in some ways. He would've had a decent relationship with his half-brother though (my god, what's his name? I've not looked at aoiaf in a while now...) I only have rough notes so I'm sorry I can't give you anything more detailed.
I did a bit of digging because I remembered sharing more here way back when. It's 2 chapters that are probably crap (one from Elia's POV and one from Jaime's) and there's Jon but no Sansa because it was all setup for Jon being sent North but here you go if you want to check it out...
Thanks again, Anon, and take care!

ohh I see, that sounds interesting. too bad season two will be in two years 😢 i was interested in the asoiaf books before but as someone who doesn't like reading that much it's way too much for me. are there specific books about the targaryen dynasty that represent the events of the show? i can't really see through the order of them
As someone that loves multitasking I love audio books
That's how I got through AoIaF and all of GRRM books on the lore of the world
Alt-ShiftX on YouTube has loads of amazing videos explaining lore and events in the history and world.

Gendrya headcanon: nicknames and pet names
So let’s go pick some fights. I think I get it... I think. Pet names signal intimacy between characters, a way of referring to each other that is exclusive to a pair and very meaningful. Nicknames can become almost like pet names sometimes, depending on the context (i.e. “he was the only one who called her that”).
In modern AU I can abide it, usually. More often then not, though, I cringe every time a fanfic writer has Gendry calling Arya "Arry"... In the books Arry is not a nickname, it's a false identity Arya was forced to take up and resents. And Gendry knows it!
I can’t see it ever becoming a term of endearment between them. The awesome thing about Gendry is that Arya chooses to confide in him who she really is. And immediately after she does, he never ever calls her Arry again - but that’s not all, no, he doesn't call her Weasel or Nan either. Actually, there are a few passages I think are relevant to this topic. Arya's name is so important, it's the name (and not her absent cock) what does it for her to finally acknowledge she has to yield to Gendry:
A Clash of Kings, Arya V
"I would if I knew, Arry . . . is that really what you're called, or do you have some girl's name?"
Arya glared at the gnarled root by her feet. She realized that the pretense was done. Gendry knew, and she had nothing in her pants to convince him otherwise. She could draw Needle and kill him where he stood, or else trust him. She wasn't certain she'd be able to kill him, even if she tried; he had his own sword, and he was a lot stronger. All that was left was the truth. "Lommy and Hot Pie can't know," she said.
Now of course, right here, Arya could just have said she was called Arya and be done with it, and he'd probably start calling her Arya. But she chooses to tell him who she really is, share her true identity with him: Arya, of House Stark. And never again does Gendry call her by her name, not untill they are somewhere safe. Before that he used to call her Arry all the time, from this point on, he barely ever uses any vocative when talking to her.
Hot Pie, on the other hand, keeps calling her Arry untill they part
A Storm of Swords, Arya II
"I am not in the habit of serving ale to children, but the cider's run out, there's no cows for milk, and the river water tastes of war, with all the dead men drifting downstream. If I served you a cup of soup full of dead flies, would you drink it?"
"Arry would," said Hot Pie. "I mean, Squab."
And like is to be expected, people around pick up on it:
Tom sat down across from her. "Squab," he said, "or Arry, or whatever your true name might be, this is for you." He placed a dirty scrap of parchment on the wooden tabletop between them.
This is just Hot Pie being Hot Pie.
A Clash of Kings, Arya VII
"Arya took her meals at a trestle table in the undercroft with Weese and his other charges, but sometimes she would be chosen to help fetch their food, and she and Hot Pie could steal a moment to talk. He could never remember that she was now Weasel and kept calling her Arry, even though he knew she was a girl."
Arya is bothered that Hot Pie keeps calling her Arry even though she's shed that identity already. Arya really resents the 'Arry' identity and for the rest of the books she reacts with indignation every time someone takes her for a boy.
Now, check this out:
A Clash of Kings, Arya IX
Arya slithered through the window and leapt down to the floor beside him.He did not seem surprised to see her.
"You should be abed, girl." The breastplate hissed like a cat as he dipped it in the cold water. "What was all that noise?"
The vocative Gendry chooses for her is "girl". In that choice he reiterates that unlike Hot Pie he knows that she's a girl. He doesn't call her Arya: he won't let that slip, he'll hold her secret thight (I feel like this is usually downplayed, but Gendry could immensely benefit if he chose to go over to the Lannisters and tell of who Arya actually is). In choosing “girl” he also makes clear that he knows ‘Weasel’ is just a pretense, an alias she's taken for herself momentarily and not who she really is. Now this is not just some quirk, it's intentional. Before Gendry learns the 'Arry' is Arya Stark, he had no problem calling "him" by his name:
A Clash of Kings, Arya II
Behind the hedge, the Bull shook his head doubtfully. "Why would the queen want you, Arry?"
She punched his shoulder. "Be quiet!"
A Clash of Kings, Arya IV
Look with your eyes, Arya wanted to shout at the men below. "Can't they see we're no lords or knights?" she whispered.
"I don't think they care, Arry," Gendry whispered back.
A Clash of Kings, Arya V
"If we see any leg potion, we'll bring it," Gendry said. "Arry, let's go, I want to get near before the sun is down. Hot Pie, you keep Weasel here, I don't want her following."
Now, here is another thing that is important. When Arya is saying her goodbyes to Hot Pie, she claims to be Arry. Hot Pie has just found out the girl Arry is actually a highborn lady, this ensues:
A Storm os Swords, Arya III
"You broke Lem's too." Hot Pie grinned. "That was good."
"Lem didn't think so," Arya said glumly. Then it was time to go. When Hot Pie asked if he might kiss milady's hand, she punched his shoulder. "Don't call me that. You're Hot Pie, and I'm Arry."
"I'm not Hot Pie here. Sharna just calls me Boy. The same as she calls the other boy. It's going to be confusing."
Okay so what GRRM is saying to us readers through Hot Pie is that Arya isn't Arry. This is done and over. She can’t cling to it.
Now you wanna know the first time and only time Gendry calls Arya by her name on page? It's in A Storm of Swords, Arya IV. They are alone:
A Storm of Swords, Arya IV
Arya stalked away angry, and would have slammed the door if it hadn't been so heavy. Darkness had settled over Acorn Hall. A few torches burned along the walls, but that was all. The gates of the little castle were closed and barred. She had promised Harwin that she would not try and run away again, she knew, but that was before they started telling lies about her mother.
"Arya?" Gendry had followed her out. "Lady Smallwood said there's a smithy. Want to have a look?"
"If you want."
This, folks, is the beginning of the forge tickling scene. It’s one of the most genuine and intimate scenes between Gendry and Arya as friends and children and it reeks of puppy love. It’s here that something else important happens: Gendry’s awareness of the class difference between him and Arya becomes an issue starting here, when she talks about him making swords in Riverrun - something he is now evasive about and will later turn down. Now, all of this to say that Arya’s name matters and it matters that Gendry is one of the few people who call her by her own name. Actually, even though a few people (Harwin and the kindly man) say Arya’s name, they don’t use it as a vocative in their interactions with her - Gendry is the only one to ever do it after Arya leaves the Red Keep in A Game of Thrones.
Now, that’s why I cringe every time people have Gendry calling Arya Arry - it’s not cute, you all!

Three ships:  Okay for the current or strategic brain-worms: Estinien/Ysyale because I’m trying to hammer the pieces of the Silm drabbles inspired by them versions into a proper fic, plus they are the enemies to bickering allies to tragically cut short by bullshit death before becoming lovers with so many of the tropes and characterization elements that are tailored specifically to me. Aegnor/Andreth because they may or may not be my biggest Silm OTP but they certainly motivate me the mos,t looking at my overall writing output. For the third...Theon/Jeyne Poole because there’s the other non-AoIaF (and only reason I renewed interest whatsoever in that story) ship that actually drives a lot of Silm feels when it became Faron/Faelindis (which counts as a separate ship) but I’m stating the original version one because it led me in 2013 to the Silm tumblr fandom via cross-fandom, weird how things work out. Plus, ‘they flew’ is just ...eucastrophic.
Last song: The Last of the Real Ones by Fall Out Boy
Last movie: ...eee. I can’t remember the last full movie I watched. Maybe Hey Arnold: The Jungle Movie with my sister because we were trying to find something guaranteed light-hearted after watching Alita: Battle Angel the previous night and agreeing it was very good but also [spoiler upsetting scene]. the nostalgia trip was fun
Currently craving: Taro or Mocha Coffee Boba Tea.
Currently reading: no book at the moment. Most recently read Superman Smashes the Klan

Hello! It’s your secret Santa again with an apology for tardiness involving the holidays, family business, work business, and COVID issues—everything fine it just got out of hand for a week! How is your week going? How did you initially get into GOT or AOIAF? Do you have any other favorite characters? Are there any tropes or headcanons you dislike seeing associated with or misconceptions about sandor or Sansa?
Hey, SS no worries, I get it. Tree is up, so far the pets (3 cats, 1 dog) haven't knocked it over or undecorated it, so a big win in our house. I came to the fandom in a weird back-ass way; a Jane Austen crossover fan fiction (I'm still waiting for that perfect Persuasion/Sansan story). That led to reading fan fiction, which led to watching the show which led to reading the books (I'm still working on that). I'm open to most tropes, although I stay away from anything underage. Have a great week, hopefully things have calmed down in your world.

I dont know if someone had talk about this but here is my teory:
Sooo the night king dosent exist in aoiaf, it was just for the show.
So i have read some theories that said that maybe the night king will be come out later in the books... but what if not? What if the night king was a representation that they put in the series in the replacement of something else; an out of the world caracter that represents dead and revenge .. what if The night king was the replacement of lady stoneheart?
Is shit, I know but we also know how d&d head works.
So if you think like that maybe the fact that Arya killed the night king is not because she is “the prince(ss) that was promise” (i dont have a problem with that either), is because Arya is going to kill lady stoneheart in the books. Maybe she killed the night king because they couldn’t give the big moment she is going to have in the books in any other way.

yandere rhaegar targaryen who grew up shrouded in a blanket of melancholy, akin to the trauma from the great fire of summerhall, a tragedy that marked his birth. his mind remained consistently immersed in fantasy clouds. an attempt to distance himself from the demons haunting house targaryen.
he developed an appreciation for songs and literature. and so, the prophecies were presented to him.
his imaginative mind created scenarios based on the words that led aegon iv to perdition. and when he met you — the only daughter of jon arryn that come of age without succumbing to illness — his obsession with completing the song of ice and fire intensified.
you, on the other hand, only harbored the ambition to take care of your father and ensure the stability of house arryn.

!!Rules: answer the questions, then add one of your own! Tag 5 people to do it too!
1. Who’s your idol(s)? my mom probably.  but aside from her?  Hillary Clinton probably?  She is far from perfect but I was 13 years old when she burst onto the national scene and she meant a lot to me as a kid.  I was ambitious and wanted to be the first female president back then, and I loved that she spoke her mind, didn’t want to stay home and bake cookies, and I was protective of her since the world seemed to hate her for being a woman with an opinion.
2. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go? Rome as always been my dream.  idk if I could endure the travel at this point in my life but maybe like, a transatlantic cruise to Rome.  That sounds lovely.
3. What decorates the walls of your room? lots of stuff.  Cubs memorabilia, blacklights, pictures of friends and family and dogs, some artwork (I have a Magritte and a Monet print in my room at the moment), pics of me and faves from cons, a couple autographs.  I have a really big  bedroom haha.
4. Favorite color combination? black and red
5. What’s on the top of your bucket list? I have some concerts I’d like to see.  Vienna Teng, Taylor Swift, Don Mclean.  Also I’d like to see an MLB playoff/World Series game live.
6. Height? 6′0″
7. Favorite animal? dogs
8. What’s the last song you listened to? The greatest by Lana del Rey
9. how many/what kind of pets do you have? one dog, Big Ern, a Havanese.  My roommate has a little Yorkie who is a tiny creature of pure rage lmao
10. last movie you saw in theatres? oh god I never go to the theaters.  Probably Mission Impossible; Fallout and I saw that at the cheap theater lol
11. comfort food or favorite food? coconut shrimp
12. why did the chicken cross the road? because she had places to be, btiches
13. do you wear socks in bed? god no
14. what’s your favorite piece of clothing you have? I think I wear my Ron Santo vintage shirsey the most.  It’s so comfortable.
15. what piece of media (book, movie, song, poem) do you wish you had written? oh gosh I don’t know.  Something that still rakes in the royalties? lol no.  Pride and Prejudice, maybe.  Or AOIAF so Game of Thrones could have ended the way I wanted it too lol.  Dany would be Queen in my version, and Jon Snow would be the dead one because fuck him.  Also, Tyrion would be dead too because the only good Lannister is a dead Lannister.  And Brienne would have ended up with Tormund because he at least thought she was amazing and didn’t spend multiple seasons negging her into a romance.  Braime is the worst sort of “boys that are mean to you do that because they like you” bullshit and she deserves better than a child-defenestrating sisterfucker.
16 (my addition) name five artists you really want to see in concert

thank you @octaviahales for tagging me!!<3<3 It was fun and I really loved your questions!!
rules: answer the 10 questions below. then make up 10 of your own for the next person to answer and tag people.
questions I was asked:
What is your favourite book/season? My favorite book (I am currently on on ASOS) has to  be the first book so far, and (while I have just started a GoT rewatch, I might be jumping the gun) I really enjoy the first season!! its very charming and I love the the initial sets and the background comings and goings. and Ned was alive.
If you could bring back one character from the dead who would it be and why? Robb Stark. I still ignore the fact he’s dead most of the time anyway so it’d be nice to have him back ;-;
What part of Westeros would you prefer to live in? that’s tough… the Riverlands seem like a good middle ground…. but not during war. if there’s war I’m sneaking to Dorne to hide in the sand
who is your favourite pre-got/aoiaf character? (stealing this one from @swainlake bc i love it!!) ooo I have a lot. But currently I’m really into Lyanna and Rhaegar…. problematic I know.
Who are your top 3 favourite characters and why? In a series with so many characters… this is tough… 1. Dany is always my number one from day one. Her arc is what makes her amazing shes able to transform herself with the inner strength you cannot see and remains so open minded to all walks of life. she means so much to me 2. Robb Stark, I’m always attracted to tragedy so.. here we go. He is the hero who couldn’t do it. He was open minded and friendly. He was a great leader and a lot was put on his shoulders and he was expected to carry the weight of a kingdom... he is the infallible older brother that… was fallible and thats heart breaking. My mind always goes back to him because to me he didn’t get to finish his story... 3. Arya Stark. She is open minded too! Fierce and wild at heart, her determination is admirable. Arya underfoot will fight for what she believes in and she finds so much strength within her family and roots, it really gets me emotional
What is your favourite storyline? Dany’s! From rising  up from the ashes as a sold slave into a khaleesi, to learning how to rule cities and free slaves with plenty of trial and error. There’s a lot of failure in her story along with some triumph and thats whats important to me. she doesn't quit after things go wrong. she sticks with it and tries her best to learn. She always has and offers hope.
Dragons or direwolves and what would you name yours? (stealing htis one too!) I hate choosing. I cant do it, I love both creatures dearly.
What are your favourite platonic character dynamics? Dany and Missandei!! (mostly show as I haven't gotten to book!missy) but I think they are each others first real healthy relationship and that shit makes me cry
Which in universe gods would you follow? The old gods… even tho they probably need blood sacrafice to ‘water the weirwoods’ … i just like trees and nature
my questions (im sorry):
Favorite house sigil?
Favorite magical phenomenon in the series?
Which character deaths made you cry?
Which house would you most belong to in Westeros?
Favorite soundtrack/score from the show?
Favorite costume?
Do you watch the show like an event with friends or do you shut yourself in and watch and freak out all by yourself?
What is your favorite storyline (I stole @octaviahales question, its so good!)
What is your favorite pov in the books?
When do you think the winds of winter will be published fhajkedjkakfd
I honestly do not want to make anyone answer these lol I can’t think of interesting questions, but if you wanna do it feel free!! :) I tag you!!
...and @ladyofdragonstone @adecila @sohereweare1 PLEASE feel free to ignore

who is your favorite female character and why?  of course i have to say sansa! i could wax poetic about sansa all day long tbh. my girl is smart, politically savvy, and kind. above all she’s kind. she’s the only character who’s kind even to her enemies or people who just don’t deserve it. i’ve said it once and i’ll say it a thousand times more; as long as sansa lives and gets the happy ending she deserves, i don’t care about anything else!
if you could bring back one character from the dead who would it be? asdfghh okay so i really, really want to say robb because he’s my main man but i also think margaery and/or shireen shouldn’t have died so?? there’s too many options to choose from tbh #stopunnecessaryfemaledeaths2k19
which gods would you choose to worship? the old gods allll the way. i appreciate the fact that they don’t require tributes like the seven or the lord of the light do
what would your personal westerosi house words be? ‘grace in the face of adversity’ or maybe ‘courage under fire’ 👀
would you rather be in the night’s watch, the king’s guard, the faceless men, or the khalasar? faceless men! at least you get to travel lol
who is your favorite got cast member and why? richard madden because he’s hot sophie turner! her advocacy for mental health awareness is one of the things that drew me to her and she’s also just such a funny, genuine person?? gotta love her
what is your favorite scene from the books that they left off the show? i’ve never actually read the books but i would’ve loved to see sansa putting some ribbons in lady’s hair or maybe that scene people always talk about where she climbs down from the eerie?
would you rather live beyond the wall or in the free cities? free cities! i’m not made for rough living lol
what is your favorite fandom theory? (can be books or show) political!jon is probably my favourite and tbh at this point i can’t see they’d be able to end s8 without that happening
rec one (or more) fanartist (original artists, gif makers, or edit makers) or fanfic author from the got/asiaf fandom whose work you really love.  some of my fav fics have been by thimbleful, kattyshack, vivlove, uchiha_s & amymel86 (check out my ao3 bookmarks for more)
my questions:
dragons or direwolves? and what would you name yours?
favourite non-canon ship?
what would your personal westerosi house words be? (stole this from mere, it’s too good a question not to share!)
if you could switch two character arcs, which characters would they be and why? (e.g. bran goes to kl & arya stays at winterfell and becomes the three eyed raven)
who is your favourite pre-got/aoiaf character?
which character could you see belonging to a different house? why?
favourite quote (book or show)?
if you could give one character a piece of advice & potentially change things, who would it be and what advice would you give?
which is your favourite house and why?
what would your dream ending be?
