The B-52's Wild Planet found me checking their peers. There were many of them, since they formed a part of the American rock scene that mixed all sorts of styles, though they all developed from the ethos of punk. True, this shouldn't suggest all the groups from there were a part of the latter. I mean, Oingo Boingo had a pretty convulted story behind them and most of that fell outside the parameters of the genre we mentioned. However, I would claim the collective had the vibe of a bunch of people who used to shout in the vein of the already discussed brand. Still, they remained more interesting thanks to their interplay and I regret they continue to be underappreciated. I think the later career of the frontman probably made this happen, yet I notice they slowly get recognized.
