"Ey, Blondie." Bobby waves to Savvy as she passes through the botanical gardens. "I heard it was your birthday, is that right? Well. Congrats on makin' it through another year. I got a little somethin' to show ya. C'mere." He beckons to her, and leads her over to a little plot. Some tiny plants with blue and white-tinged leaves rustled in the soft breeze from their approach. "Don't ask where they came from, but I managed to get a hold of some starberry seedlings. They're almost big enough to transfer, now. I wanted ya to have half. Y'know. For helpin' me out, and all. So I figured it'd be a good day to do that." He smiled sheepishly. "Well, to let you know. I ain't gonna make you dig in the dirt on your special day, after all."
"Hi, Bobby! That's right," Savvy says, grinning. She walks over, curious, when the fox boy beckons her. Once she sees the little plants, her eyes widen and sparkle.
"Starberries!" She hopes she didn't say that too loudly, and covers her mouth. Those are hard to get, even for a LaPerle ... Savvy looks between Bobby and the berry seedlings a few times.
"Bobby, this is just too sweet of you! Are you sure?" Savvy crouches down to get a better look at the tender young plants. "This is gonna make my birthday ... I can't wait to see how they turn out!"

Primal Scream Keyboardist Martin Duffy Dead at 55
- “Martin was the most musically talented of all of us,” singer Bobby Gillespie says
Primal Scream keyboardist Martin Duffy, who “was the most musically talented of all of us,” died Dec. 19 from a brain injury sustained in a fall at his home, the band’s frontman, Bobby Gillespie, said.
Duffy was 55.
“Martin was a very special character,” Gillespie said. “He had a love and understanding of music on a deep spiritual level. Music meant everything to him. He loved literature and was well-read and erudite. An autodidact. A deep thinker, curious about the world and other cultures.”
Dexys Midnight Runners eulogized Duffy as “lovely and supremely talented” on Twitter.
“Love to Martin’s family and (Primal Scream) from Dexys,” the band wrote.
He also worked as a session musician, playing on recent albums by Sherwood & Pinch and Jeb Loy Nichols, whose label On-U Sound, remembered Duffy as “an incredibly gifted musician.”
Duffy started his career with Felt while simultaneously playing on Primal Scream’s early LPs. He joined the band in 1991 and also played with the Charlatans after the 1996 death of Rob Collins.
Joining the band at Knebworth, Duffy “save(d) the Charlatans,” singer Tim Burgess said, calling the musician’s death “another tragic loss of a beautiful soul.”
“He was a pleasure to spend time with,” Burgess said. “Safe travels, Duffy.”

'The talented “Ripley” team is being feted ahead of the series premiere.
IndieWire can exclusively announce that Netflix-owned cineplexes The Paris Theater and The Bay will host two respective retrospective exhibits honoring “Ripley” writer/director Steven Zaillian and “The Talented Mr. Ripley” author Patricia Highsmith. Netflix’s limited series “Ripley” stars Andrew Scott in the titular lead role as the 1960s grifter who is hired by a wealthy man to travel to Italy to try to convince his vagabond son, Dickie Greenleaf (Johnny Flynn), to return to the States. The limited series focuses on a sinister core love triangle between Ripley, Dickie, and Dickie’s fiancée Marge Sherwood (Dakota Fanning). The show debuts April 4 on the streaming platform.
The Paris Theater screening program is titled “Criss Cross: Highsmith & Zaillian on Screen” and features adaptations of Highsmith’s “Carol” and “Strangers on a Train” alongside Zaillian’s “Searching for Bobby Fischer,” “Moneyball,” “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo,” “American Gangster,” and “The Irishman,” all of which he wrote.
The Bay hosts “The Storyteller: A Steven Zaillian Retrospective” that will honor Zaillian with five features from his Oscar-winning filmography including his feature screenwriting debut “Awakenings.”...'

got any Sherwood high hc ?
Their school colors are various shades of green and gold/yellow.
They have a decent tourney team.
Their mascot is a falcon.
They have the best archery team.
The school has a pet falcon named 'Forest'.
The school is surrounded by mountains and forests, and is mainly made up wood/logs.
The school has no electricity or indoor plumbing. They use mainly torches, lanterns, and candles and they have outhouses (and there is a lake outside, alongside outdoor showers).
The snowball/mud fights are a nightmare.
Sherwood High has a Robin Hood Statue outside.
Bobby Hood was a sports commentator for the school as a student.
Many of the merrymen are teachers there. Which meant Bobby can't get away with anything. Seriously, they be snitches.
Bobby didn't even get to tell anyone he was dating Tiger Peony himself. Someone in school found out, then told their friends. And rumors fly fast in Sherwood, so the whole school knew before the day was over. INCLUDING THE STAFF.
Bobby's dad sent him a congrats letter the next day.
Bobby spent the last year of his schooling at Auradon Prep. No one at Sherwood High was happy but Bobby refused to spend his makeup year there.
Many Merrymen's children (as well as Robin Hood's many other children) go to school there but so do many of Sherwood's other children. Many of which are human-animal shifters.
Ever seen early schoolings? With chalkboards and stuff? Sherwood school looks mostly like that.
Sherwood High has great decorations (some of them can be considered tacky, because the school is full of hunters...).
The cafeteria serves plenty of fish, meat, veggies, and fruit... as well as homemade juice, fresh milk, and water to drink (they also sell the students' soda/coffee too).
They have the BIGGEST rivalry with Neverland Academy's Gators (tourney team for the school).
Their prank wars are like a battlefield. But it's nowhere near as bad as the rivalry between Seaside High and Olympus High (all of the schools are wildly competitive with each other).
The Wi-Fi is surprisingly decent. No one knows how, though.

Before the dominance of the big conglomerate car manufacturers took hold in the late 1960s, there was room in the market for niche companies whose products fulfilled the demands of a few drivers who wanted something a little different to the everyday, somewhat bland mainstream offering. Some companies such as Lotus thrived and are still with us while the likes of TVR have come and gone (several times), hopefully to return. Others had their day in the sun but ultimately disappeared after a relatively brief but bright life; Piper sits firmly in the later camp. Though the end results were fairly diverse, these companies’ approaches had remarkable commonality with cheap to produce fiberglass bodies (no need for expensive tooling which required high production volumes to amortise its costs) sitting on bespoke chassis while their running gear, which was financially impossible for a small business to develop and manufacture, was sourced from the industry’s major players.
Piper were kept pretty busy trying to build cars so production records are sketchy to say the least and it is thought that just eighty road cars and some twenty racers were built making them rare beasts today, though their survival rate is undoubtedly higher than that of propriety sports car such as say MGBs.
Formed in 1966 by ex-racer George Henrotte, owner of Campbell’s Garage (hence the Scottish Piper logo and company name) in Hayes, Kent with the able assistance of engineer Bob Gayler (ex Harry Weslake), machinist Ken Packham and artist come designer Tony Hilder who had been responsible for the McLaren M1A, their first ‘whole car’ effort started as an evenings and weekends project until a customer, Gerry Hall, showed an interest in buying one. With his role as Works Gemini Formula Junior team manager winding up, Henrotte gave the green light for a limited production run of the pretty sports racers with four being completed for customers to add their powertrain of choice to; Hall put an Alfa Twin Cam in his, Bobby Bell a Lotus Twin Cam while racer Jerry Titus opted for a Buick V8. With a Mallite (balsawood/alloy sandwich) monocoque F3 car another Piper product, the company was building a reputation as a hotbed of outside the box thinking and a road-usable GT car was the next project. Approached by some Austin Healey Sprite racers who were looking for a light and sleek home for their running gear, a mock-up of what was to become the Piper GTT was shown at the 1967 Racing Car Show, apparently yielding an impressive seven hundred enquiries.
With Henrotte being kept busy with the tuning side of the Piper business, there was a timely intervention by Clubman racer Brian Sherwood who had not only bought a Piper GT but as the Sprite guys gradually fell by the wayside, was instrumental in more suitable Ford components being introduced at the expense of the BMC kit. With Sherwood now very much hands on, the Company was split with car production moving to his Wokingham premises while Henrotte concentrated on the aftermarket components business, though the companies remained closely linked both financially and practically. Through the late 1960s production increased from a drip to a trickle until Bill Atkinson, an enthusiastic GTT owner who had joined the company in the summer of 1969 as Works Manager, and Tony Waller (Sherwood Holdings’ Company Secretary) made great strides getting the GTT into some sort of series production.
Instrumental in saving Piper’s car business, Sherwood was at heart a racer and he took them on an ultimately ill-fated foray to Le Mans in 1969 with the ultra-low, mid-engined GTR, an ambitious project that is thought to have cost £250,000. His untimely death late that year coupled with strikes at Ford ultimately resulted in the company being wound up in June 1971, despite the strong progress being made by Atkinson and Waller on the car production and development front (the longer wheelbase P2 was eventually launched in early 1971). However, this was not quite the end of the road for Piper; reborn as Emmbrook Engineering under the same management team, the Piper P2 remained in production until 1974.

It's got a sliding tuition rate based on financial need. Some of the local nobles subsidize it too.
Bobby is probably one of the most popular kids around because he's a chip off the old block.
Lots of animals and/or humanized former animals end up here.
It's got an archery team!
The students will DRAG an unpopular teacher. Probably with music.
The forest is really pretty and quiet so people hang out around the grounds when they have free time.
They have lots of moonlit dances in the woods.
The colours are brown, green and red-orange.
A lot of the Merry Men teach there.
There's a really great art/music program.

Needless to say this is an au where supernatural takes place in Britain and the surrounding uk. And just like always. This post is anti castiel. I would also like to say that I am British. But fairly shit at Geography. So if there are any mistakes I apologise. Got that? Good. Then let’s begin.
All I’ve got so far is:
The Winchesters are northern. Blackpool specifically. The Campbell’s are Scottish. But Sam puts on a Received Pronunciation accent because he went to Westminster university. It vanishes the longer the show goes on
Bobby’s from the West Country. Think Berk from Through The Trapdoor. Or. You know. Hagrid. If you want to think of something more recognisable.
Crowley’s American. Think Katharine Hepburn.
All the angels sound like royalty. Agonisingly so.
It’s all filmed in wales.
All the demons sound like they’re from the north. Geordie shore specifically. Ruby’s got a more Blackpool type of twang like Dean has. She couldn’t have seduced Sam otherwise.
Dean would be Obsessed with trashy reality shows because of all the scantily clad women. He’s also go through an extremely unfortunate phase where he tries to act like the Sacha Baron Cohen character Ali G. Aka. He tried to talk like a black rapper. Despite being so white that he got sunburned in Blackpool during a storm.
Swan songs finale takes place in Sherwood near the forest.
The bunker is what Churchill’s bunker was based on.
It’d still run for 15 years but it would probably only have 210 episodes give or take because it’d only have at most thirteen episodes per season plus a Christmas special every year. You know. Like doctor who used to have.
