1. WRITING AND RESEARCH
Hello, my name is Sara Gabriel, I am born and raised in Florida and have been involved in many organizations to serve my community, my absolute favorite was 4-h. 4-h is a club that I was involved in for over 5 years that allowed me to raise projects such as planets and animals etc., for the Sarasota County Fair.
# 23 Banksy's 'Crazy Horse' On the Lower East Side for "Better Out Than In" (2013)
Tumblr media
He was born in Bristol and started as an artist at the age of 14.
2. Banksy's street art and urban interventions act as critical commentary on major global issues, including terrorism, political authority, and capitalism.
3. Banksy didn’t go to art school but attended the then fee-paying Bristol Cathedral School. He got an E in GCSE art before going on to a sixth form college, where he studied art. After that he learned his trade on the streets.
4. A considerable amount of Banksy’s fame and notoriety stems from his urban interventions, including hanging his own works among masterpieces at major museums such as the Louvre, Paris, and the Museum of Modern Art, New York.
5. Banksy was heavily influenced in his early days by a French graffiti artist called Blek le Rat.
3. Initially viewing this piece of artwork, it really overwhelmed me in the beginning, due to the amount of dynamic the art brings and all the things going on in this photo it took me a while to focus in on everything. Taking a closer look and examining the art my thoughts did change it now is clearer after reading about the artist and what artwork he has created in the past with spray paint oil pastels etc. It’s really cool to me how detailed the artwork is and every time I look at it, I noticed new things that bring me closer to the meaning the artist is trying to convey to us. I love the emotion this photo brings as well, the artist really pours out his heart when creating pieces like this because of how detailed and specific everything has to be I absolutely love it.
