Been keeping an eye on this book for a while. It was sold out when I first discovered it, so I waited until it was available for pre-order again.
I'm excited to get the physical copy, but I'm pleased as punch on a pdf version to read right away. But also, still, physical edition. Always have a physical back-up.
I love JRPGs, wished I had more time to play them, and looking forward to reading an entire goddamn encyclopedia about them.

Congrats to Super Mario RPG fans for the Nintendo Switch remake announcement! I've never played the game myself, even though it would have been available via Wii U Virtual Console in Europe. I'm interested in trying it out on Switch, being a fan of JRPGs and having enjoyed some Paper Mario games.
