I'm seeing a pattern here. With the scarcity of Rhyme and Reason updates recently, I seem to come up with new ideas for stupid memes and edits for different pages quicker.
The first and second image were inspired from our collective dyslexia of the recent page, assuming that ice cube man was going to kill our favorite alpaca... but yeah we just can't read haha
As for the other three, someone in the discord (you know who you are) requested some edits to panels to replicate the "MAN" memes. Figured I'd upload this to tumblr so the rest of the rar fandom can look at them.

8: I don't play many games myself (only Stardew Valley, Minecraft, and silly seek-and-find puzzle games) and my laptop was too tuckered for games for most of the year, but even if I'd been farming nonstop I think the game of the year would still be Final Fantasy VII Remake. Pretty sure it'll be the game of every year until it's all out, and then maybe a couple years more for good measure. I am having such an incredible time following the game as it comes out and @kaylithographica plays through it, and I can't wait to see how Square Enix keeps going with the meta and story changes.
25: Some of the more complex edits I've been trying to work on this week actually revolve around a particular OC, so we'll talk about her. Her name is Mercy, and she was not supposed to be important (folks who have lived with me may be familiar with this refrain). She was supposed to be a filler character! She's an archetype! Her name is Mercy and she has none! Grr rar tragic backstory vengeance quest knife collection! But nooo now she's got layers. She's got depth. We're emotionally invested in her character arc. Damn it. Anyway she befriends her local main characters to use them as pawns in her revenge plot, spends a lot of time with them waiting for them to vouch for her to her target, gives up her first chance at revenge because she has to go save them instead (in a scene so terribly close to the classic 'stand at crossroad, look longingly at selfish goal down the left, turn back fully on goal to run to friends down the right path' that I may rewrite it to avoid cliche shame), and then eventually gives up her scheming entirely because it would be too much of a betrayal of her very best friends the main characters. She was supposed to die in the first rescue, and then the whole story locked up and I had to go back through trying to find the writer's block instigation point, and I realized I've made too optimistic a world to kill her off without friends or redemption. She's (big sigh) thematically significant now. At least she's also very cool.
14: I'm going with my favorite book that came out this year, to help narrow things down: "The Innocent Sleep", by Seanan McGuire. Seanan McGuire is one of my favorite authors and this is my favorite of her ongoing serieses, and usually we get one a year (usually just in time to be my birthday present to myself! a joyous coincidence) but this year we got two. "Sleep No More" and "The Innocent Sleep", paired stories, one from Toby's point of view and one from Tybalt's. The current state of their world means that these two POVs of the same happenings are wildly different, and it's fascinating (a little heart-wrenching sometimes) to see. Also, Tybalt and his friends dimension-door into Costco in the dead of night and steal all their catfood. It's amazing.
18: The vegeble man had a special on collard greens one time, and I bought a 'bundle' thinking it was your standard grocery-store greens bundle, a generous handful at most. It was more like an armful. Apparently the special was because they'd been sold a literal truckload of greens (perfectly good but disqualified as 'organic' by some neighbor shenanigans) and needed to offload them quickly because the fridge wasn't ready for such a bumper crop. I cooked them in batches with andouille sausage and bacon and just a touch of this amazing miso ghost-pepper hot sauce Duncan has, and we ate them for our next four meals (with grits, with cornbread and grilled tomatoes, with fried eggs and beer bread, and then the last of them mixed into red beans and rice). I really miss not just Southern food but access to Southern ingredients (the 'andouille' sausage I get here is pitiful, and bacon is no substitute for a proper salt-ham, and neither is beer bread always a good alternative to a buttermilk biscuit or quickbread) and it was so nice to have a proper mess of greens again.

as someone who is actively suicidal, its always so...strange? hard? overwhelming? to see people that have lost someone to suicide.
i often wonder if anyone will miss me once im gone. and i wonder if all those people that died from it would be happier if they had kept going.
its strange bc those individuals meant so so so so so much to people but now they r just a statistic. and its conflicting. like i feel like by reducing it down to "this many people kill themselves every year" we r disrespecting all those human lives. and it makes me feel like people dont actually think human lives are precious and important, at least not as much as they make it sound like they believe.
its overwhelming to see someone who still remembers their friend or their birthday after so many years. it makes me feel guilty for wanting to die bc i dont want to hurt people that i love the most.
its just...conflicting and confusing. im so sorry for your friend. but i think he'd be overjoyed to know that u still remember him and his birthday <3

i was suicidal for several years and for so much time, the only thing that kept me alive was not wanting to put other people through the pain that i had felt. so please believe me when i say that i understand what you’re saying, anon. for years of my life, i was so alone with my sadness because i felt like expressing it or asking for help would be to admit to this deep selfishness about me - like there is anything about wanting to die that is selfish. it wasn’t fair to me and it isn’t fair to you.
i don’t believe in guilt or shame as tactics of suicide prevention, so you aren’t going to find that here. i can’t convince you to want to live, and i wish that i could, but since i can’t, i have no need to make you feel worse. i want to thank you for sending me this message, though, because i know that it couldn’t have been easy but i do believe that we’re all a little better when we say these things and we come to understand them a little better.
i can’t say that every single person who dies by suicide would be happier if they were still alive. but, at the risk of sounding completely corny and unbearable, i can say that they’ll never know if it would have gotten better. I know that suicide is a systemic problem that will never be solved with blasé posts about “checking on your strong friends” and compilations of phone numbers. and i know, logically, that it isn’t really a choice that you make. i’m not going to give you the whole “it gets better” thing because i’m sick to fucking death of it and i can imagine you are, too. but i will tell you that i am 100% sure that people would miss you if you died. i don’t have to know you to know that. even when we feel like nobody cares about us, there is someone who does. every single time.
i also don’t like when deaths by suicide are reduced to statistics, but i will say that every time i see one of those statistics, i think of my friend, and i imagine my pain multiplied all of those times, all of those communities irreversibly changed. to me, and to a lot of people who have lost someone this way i bet, it’s never a jumble of numbers. it is physical, unyielding pain. i don’t believe that there is a lack of compassion or love for other people, i think there is a lack of understanding. it is hard to conceptualize any of it - suicidal ideation, suicide, or the aftermath - without experiencing it. even hard then, often enough.
for the record, i don’t believe suicide prevention is pointless or hokey. i just believe that a lot of people are doing it wrong. the whole “hell” thing, the “coward” thing, it’s all so awful and cruel to people who are already suffering. but again, i don’t need to convince you of this.
i’m sorry this response is so strange and wordy. i don’t want to say the wrong thing, but i’m also not sure there’s exactly a right thing to say. people rarely want to have these conversations and i’m rarely the person they want to go to with it - a lot of people seem to think that the word “suicide” is going to break me in half (it won’t, by the way). all i know is that it’s been nearly nine years and i don’t miss or love my best friend any less for it. i think of him on his birthday and the anniversary of his death and every day between the two. i still message him on facebook sometimes, and i can’t remember what his laugh sounded like, which really hurts me to admit. i don’t say this to make you feel guilty. it isn’t your fault and i don’t want you to feel bad because of something you didn’t ask for in the first place. it’s just the truth. not your fault, not mine, not anybody else’s.
i hope that one day you don’t have this guilt and that you will want to live just for the sake of living. i hope that it really does get better for you, corniness be damned. i hope that you understand that you really are loved, simply by the virtue of being a human being with inherent worth. i love you, and i don’t even know you. i love you because our paths have crossed, however unlikely, and you have had a real impact on my heart. i hope you believe me when i say that.

How does everyone in the R&R cast fight?
Hi! I'm assuming you mean techniques and/or weapons from Rhyme and Team Reason in @rar-archive , so I'll give a quick list! In order from most likely and least likely to fight someone. Rhyme's fighting technique is on his Carrd description, as well as Birthdays, so I will leave that linked there.
Birthday - Fists, knives, or her bat! She prefers to use her bat, but if the opponent is actually a threat she will brandish those candy themed blades. If you're lucky, or if she's just playing around with you, you may get a headbutt or a play bite from his sharp teeth. If Birthday is cornered or has no other option, she will stab herself in the chest. Not only will it shock the opponent, but inside of her lies an entity that can fight defensively and carry her to safety. The long, ghostly, candy pink arms look more dangerous than they actually are. Keep an eye on Birthday's eyes, if they're lighting up pink her entity is telling her it wants to come out. Whether it be the mouth, or fully through the chest. The entity can not leave her body fully, so the arms and hands will pull her onto her chest and start crawling or climbing away, up walls or gates similar to a spider.
Lotty - Lotty is very quick on his feet, and if he decides he wants you to chase him, you should be very aware of your surroundings. Lotty uses manipulative plant magic, so if he is in an area where there are vines or plant branches, he can use them as whips or even spears depending on their sharpness and durability. He can not lift plants off of the ground, but if he manages to get one around you he very well can lift you. Lotty prefers to fight during the day, but at night he will not hesitate to use all of his stored up energy to protect himself or his loved ones.
Static - Even if Static has an issue with you, Static will not fight with you physically until he's thoroughly degraded you in a stern manner, or has made you look stupid with your own words. With his straight expression it may be hard to tell what he has up his sleeve. Be very careful if you choose to fight this alpaca, his electric magic is nothing to laugh at. The magic is administered through his palms and fingers mainly, so do not let him grab you. His wool might give you an uncomfortable shock too.
Wes - Wes now has access to ice magic, and not only the kind with holy water. If you were to fight this ice cube object head in the rain, near a river, or even near a stand of bottled water, Wes could freeze it and use it against you. Think of water bending, but with the ability to telekinetically move ice or chilled water within 30 feet of you. He can only freeze the water by touching it though, so don't let him get his claws near it. If Wes is in rain, prepare for an uncomfortable pelting of sleet. If you are very unlucky, or harming Wes to a dangerous degree, something other than Wes may decide to temporarily use his body.
Mac - A lot of playful/backwards taunting and fawning from Macintosh. Deescalation and avoidance. They are a lover, not a fighter. If Mac had no choice but to fight, they would use their arms to throw punches, or spin their body around like a tornado to hit you multiple times like a rubberhose cartoon, keeping their head completely still. However, Lotty has only seen Mac use this odd technique once, and it was to hit a tree multiple times to make fruit fall down during a trip to the park train tracks.

Uta no Prince-sama Doujin: Schizanthus (BM128)
Happy birthday, Natsuki and Syo and Satsuki (and Kaoru, though he’s not in this doujin)!
I’ve wanted to translate this doujin for a while, since it takes place during the Natsuki Best Friend After Episode (which you can read here), and so I figured their birthday would be as good a time as any to finally get this done lol. You can download it as a rar here, or read it under the cut!
This is the first time I’m translating a doujin (or any sort of comic, really), so please excuse any weird formatting, I did my best but honestly I have no idea what sort of programs people use for this kind of stuff, so I just... used MS Paint lol. It was a bit tedious, but hopefully the end result doesn’t look too bad!
