I had this great realisation that Sneasel sounds mad close to ‚weasel‘ and whoops I went deep into the Japanese folklore of the Kamaitachi, which are lightning fast blade wielding weasels who cut your legs in cold climates.

There‘s a great 16 min youtube podcast that explains the folklore far better. Go show them some love!

They’re a little sleepy, tired if you will. Let them get some rest shhuuuushhhshuuuuhhhh. Side note this was a freehand drawing in my math notebook I just coloured digitally the designs aren’t fulllyyyy how I usually draw them.

Its not very often that Juice and Nine go to sleep at the same time, since Js battery lasts so much longer and he doesn’t need to charge for nearly as long as nine does. But the rare occasion that they’re both running low on battery at the same time is always bittersweet for the two. Nine still faces their usual anxieties and worries about going to sleep, missing something important would be heartbreaking, and they sometimes worry that they won’t wake up from the long sleep. Ten is usually good at silencing these worries, allowing Nine to rest, but as an older-younger sister, she’s always sure Nine is long asleep before she goes next. The idea that if Nine woke up earlier than expected she would be there is comforting to the both of them. Juice on the other hand doesn’t worry much about sleep, it doesn’t take long for him to charge, and he’s never worried about any complications arising. But having the chance to comfort his little buddy as they both drift off to a peaceful rest is a special occasion to him, an occasion usually reserved for Ten. Under the stars together, Nine usually listens to Juice talk and talk about whatever topic he wants, both of them slowing falling asleep as Juice continues, his words becoming less loud over the receiver and more incoherent. Eventually they both fall asleep, small sparks of stray energy causing them to dream of electric sheep.

horrid angst idea: what if edega only liked the intern because they weren't bogged down by stress and were a "perfect machine" but this unintentionally makes the intern have an identity crisis where they don't know if they are meant to be a perfect working robot or if they can live a normal humanish life?
