Know what I never want to hear again, not even ONCE, the rest of my life?
"Our government would never do that."
YES, THE FUCK, THEY WOULD. THEY HAVE. THEY DID. THEY WILL, EASILY, AGAIN.
If we could also include to avoid: "Our government never did that" and "Our government COULDN'T do that*" It would be much appreciated.
During #JFK: They wanted to do a #falseflag, and blame it on #Cuba. During #Nixon: Crack to the blacks.
In the 70s, the #CIA OPENLY admitted they had a gun with a dissolving bullet that could cause an undetectable, natural looking heart attack. NOW, they have radar dishes they can point at people to give them execrating pain, making them nearly immobile.
We started with a genocide to fund the #usa, had slavery for far too long, made concentration camps for Japanese-Americans during #WW2 where we stole BILLIONS from their houses and assets, and today? Today we have the largest #prison#slave population in human history; yes, more than when we actually had legalized slavery. The biggest military EVER, which, historically, has killed more than any other military with new age weapons. Yeah-can't deny the whole white phosphorus, regular ole bombs, and of course, NUCLEAR WEAPONS. What's ironic? Japan actually hates us more for the firebombs we used on them (more suffering instead of instant death). Didn't know about the #firebombs? MOST DON'T.
And then we get to 9/11. Ya know. When our government shut down all airports, but let a FEW special planes go out of #Florida just after it happened, containing some very unique individuals (proven). Or how about how not 1, not 2, but 3 buildings fell down perfectly straight, which is basically impossible from being hit on ONE side. Oh, and the 3rd building, building 7, which contained a lot of classified government documents was never HIT by anything!? Or how JUST before all this happened, the pentagon announced (not for the first OR last time**) they lost trillions of dollars, and had no idea where it went? OR how the guy who owned the #twintowers insured them for terrorist attacks just months before it happened?
Finally, today....where our #DEMOCRATIC president, brain dead #biden, is openly funneling guns, weapons, and worse to a terrorist colonizing state called #israel, against a nearly completely defenseless people in #Palestine? A #genocide, in real time, for MONTHS now, funded by our government. They're trying to pass another funding bill of billions as I type. Over 12k children killed in cold blood. MULTIPLE RAPES have been proven done by the israelis. You literally can not imagine a worse thing to happen due to a government (outside adding cannibalism).
SO PLEASE, never fucking god damn say again "Our government would never do that" when they have done it EVERY-FUCKING-TIME! <Forgot to mention the experimentation on their own citizens. That's a whole other post!>
Because when you live in an #oligarchy, you got to assume the rich in control will do ANYTHING IMAGINABLE AND UNIMAGINABLE to maintain their wealth and power. Historically, they always fucking do. WAKE UP!
*The technology they hold back and use against us may not come out to the public for DECADES. We have proven weather modification is real AND works. Not a debate. And Direct Energy Weapons (DEW) have been documented to being real just recently...You really think they can monitor, categorize, AND filter ALL THE DATA we say and do without AI? No. And they've been doing that for HOW long? Over 20 years? And when did we get access to AI? Side note-pentagon RIGHT NOW strong arming their way thru congress, trying to force them to allow the military to turn on AI's capabilities to choose what it kills. So that's...#terminator fun.
**The #pentagon, aka, the military, losing money has been a tried and true method of filtering money to the bad guys. It's kinda like how Tony Stark found out he was arming terrorists in Iron Man. You forget we helped for Al-Qaeda and #Isis? WE DID. Osama Bin Laden was a CIA asset! Why? To fuck with everyone in the Middle East all the way to Russia. Look it up if you didn't know.
<When we do physical or mental labor for taxes to be taken away, they usually go to murder. When you do your job, your taxes pay mostly for the rich to get richer and murder. Nothing else. If I'm wrong, look outside at how great it is, how free everyone is, and all the happy smiles. We allowed this to happen. We can create something better without them. What's the harm in trying? It can't get worse, sadly. But at the same time, inspiringly: we can only go up from here. :)>
No war but the class war.

Russia's attack on Ukraine is not a fucking proxy war. Weapons support from the US is literally mostly old things that would cost you tax dollars to dismantle. Now they get used in Ukraine instead and the US citizens can use that money elsewhere. I don't think you have much understanding of what military assistance in practice means. It's material help. Tangible things that already exist and have already been paid for years ago. What are the poor USAmerican citizens going to do with soon expiring ammunition?
lmao rebelcaptain secret santa this is what i get for opening up my anons again just so you know
so many things lol
i support the us sending weapons to ukraine because i believe that ukrainians deserve the right to not be butchered by russia, i do believe that support does have limits - those limits are fairly high (like nukes? did i have to say i specifically do not think nuclear war is good? that's pretty much my line, i literally said i support a word that sounds like ass and nation lmaoooo) and not likely to ever even need to be talked about but like yes i do in fact have limits, and the military assistance that we've been doing i am fine with, trust me i'd rather you have them. also the us prints its own money i personally think we can do both but americans don't understand our government soooo
russia's attacking of ukraine is not the proxy war of course, which i never said and idk maybe i wasn't clear but i think i was. the us and the west frankly caring about ukraine is about russian power and not about ukrainian lives, and never forget that. this is why i said that it's a proxy war FOR THE US. as in a us proxy war. i'm sorry that that probably feels shitty to think about but that's what ukraine is to the us. geopolitics sadly aren't about morality and justice for governments. it's about power and hegemony. we are more concerned with russian power than we are human rights. and by we i do mean my government and not me or even other americans.
btw of course the us has spend money on not just nearly expired weapons but also humanitarian aid, financial aid and of course training and logistical support. again i don't care about the money, but don't fucking act like the us hasn't sent billions of dollars of aid in the past few years, it has which is why it is so important that the us continues to send billions of dollars of aid to ukraine in order to continue to fund the war effort.
i'm going to support marginalized people every and that includes here in the us where the empire harms its own and has from the inception of this country. yes us americans have a right to be annoyed at not having basic human rights like healthcare, a decent education system, livable wages, and lack of housing and shelter. but they're probably not the ones hemming and hawing over the dollars spent abroad btw - that's more likely to be upper and middle class americans and republicans/conservatives. but we can do both - provide for the general welfare of americans and also provide for the general welfare of everyone else. and fight fascism, but we don't have a good track record on that one.

On Monday. February 13 2023, two school shootings happened. There were probably more, but I didn’t look it up. Let me tell you how these are connected.
In Lansing, Michigan, the city I was born in, at MSU, the alma mater of my father, and the current university of my cousin’s 2 children. A young woman, Elise, a junior, who actually looks like me, was on the other side of campus when the guy went into that classroom. She is ‘ok’ safe, scared, in shock, traumatized, perhaps permanently.
Her younger brother, Jack, a freshman was in the building. Not the classroom, but in Berkeley Hall. He is ‘ok’ safe, scared, in shock, traumatized, perhaps permanently. Imagine the horror and the fear.
Now, the second shooting:
Denver, Colorado, the city I was raised in, at Denver East High School, my alma mater, and the current high school of my sisters son. A young man, Jude, a freshman, who is a varsity soccer player, was in his classroom when his teammate and friend was shot in their school parking lot. He is ‘ok’ safe, scared, in shock, traumatized, perhaps permanently.
That’s 3 kids in my family. On the same day. Do you hear me? THE SAME FUCKING DAY!! The same day. Don’t tell me to be rational. Don’t tell me I’m in your fucking prayers. Go donate money to the families. The boy that WAS SHOT IN THE FUCKING HEAD IN FRONT OF HIS HIGH SCHOOL ISN’T DEAD!!!! It’s not looking good, but his family could use some cash.
And none of mine were ‘hurt’. I’m not attending funerals. My sister, my cousin, their kids? How do they get through this? How do they parent this? How do they get their kids to go back to school? And be successful? And healthy? And and and. How do you comfort them when the nightmares come?
And thank fucking god there was a metal detector inside the high school where it did not one iota of good.
It’s a complex problem. Gun control, social services, media (mainstream and social), police, lack of culture, systemic racism, dysfunction in all levels of government, a nation divided in half by hate; violent all consuming blind hate; color coded hate -black and white, red and blue, corporate greed, and more….but no one is sitting down at the table to even try to peel the onion. Think tanks put ROVERS ON MARS but can’t keep 3rd graders safe in Uvalde or Sandy Hook or the younger siblings of my college friends at Columbine! And let me tell you how many fucks I give about rovers on Mars. (Lots of tax dollars on Mars, kids. $25.4 BILLION dollars to NASA IN 2023) let’s take one years nasa budget and fund a mass shooting solution think tank and see if they can do something with it.
FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCKFUCKFUCKFUCK
I’m angry. And a woman today in my office told me it’s gods plan. It’s in the Bible, the end of days. I told her to shove her Bible up her ass. And when it’s her family I will remind her of her god and his plan. AND!!!!!
Her/ their ignorance is not as valuable as my/our intelligence. But (social) media has given them a platform to be loud. From the red neck swamp rat to the hallowed halls of the highest government offices
Thoughts and prayers are not enough. Stop voting for pussies. Stop following bullies and bigots. Stop teaching your children that gun violence is acceptable. What happened to having a fist fight at the bike rack after school? Stop allowing your kids to disrespect others. Stop disrespecting others. Don’t heckle the President of the UNITED States on national television. It’s tacky. It teaches others that this behavior is ok. It’s not. Do you hear me? It. Is. Not. Send cash to the victims. Spread love and tolerance and logic and thoughtful legislation and rational gun control and severe punishment for the guys shooting up our families. And don’t plea bargain weapons charges down.
The bullies in my high school in the 80’s were plenty mean. The terrible, troubled kids. But they didn’t have AR15’s. But now….
Fuck

Gone            (Prophecy Update)
 By Daymond Duck    Published on: September 26, 2021
After Moses died, Joshua became the leader of the Jewish people. Joshua led them across the Jordan River, took them to a place called Shiloh, and gave Shiloh to the largest and most powerful tribe called Ephraim. The Jews erected a Tabernacle there, priests served there, offered sacrifices there, felt God’s presence there, and it was a special place to God for more than 300 years. But the Jews eventually abandoned God, started worshipping a false God, angered God, stirred His wrath, and He destroyed Shiloh (Psa. 78:56-67).
Those that think that God won’t destroy a nation should go and look at Shiloh (Jer. 7:12).
Those that think that God won’t destroy a city should go and look at Sodom and Gomorrah.
On Sept. 16, 2021, several members of the media reported on an interview that former White House Press Sec. Sean Spicer had with former Pres. Trump.
Trump said, “Our country has gone really downhill in the last eight months like nobody’s ever seen before. And we’re not going to have a country left in three years; I’ll tell you that.”
Is Biden really the end of America?
Will America’s Deep State and the global Deep State succeed in bringing about the demise of America before 2024 and the establishment of a godless world government and religion by 2030 or sooner?
Perhaps, it is time for the Lukewarm Laodicean churches and those that think that God won’t destroy a godless world government and religion to go and look at the tower of Babel.
Without God, America is gone.
Consider the following:
Vice Pres. Harris was part of a group that raised funds to bail rioters, looters, and arsonists out of jail, and one has now committed murder.
The Biden administration knows that human traffickers, drug dealers, terrorists, and people infected with Covid are crossing the U.S. border with Mexico, but they are ignoring it or, in some cases, assisting it.
Biden said he would not leave American citizens in Afghanistan, but he has left hundreds there.
Biden let Taliban terrorists have up to 80 billion dollars of U.S. weapons.
The FBI destroyed Hillary’s cell phones for her.
Biden lied about his knowledge of Hunter Biden’s alleged crimes (he boasted about threatening the Pres. of Ukraine if he didn’t fire the man investigating Hunter; e-mails on Hunter’s laptop have been confirmed to be legitimate), but that is okay with the Democrat Party, and the FBI and DOJ have done nothing.
Pelosi, Schumer, and the Democrats impeached Trump over something he didn’t say in a phone call to Russia, but they are ignoring Gen. Milley’s treasonous calls to China, even though he could have endangered the security of the U.S.
Biden has been warned that too much spending can collapse the U.S. economy, but he continues to propose multi-trillion-dollar stimulus packages.
The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that mandated vaccinations are unconstitutional, but Biden is trying to force people to get one.
The Biden administration is trying to force average citizens to get vaccinated, but he has exempted Congress, their aides, the DOJ, the U.S. Supreme Court, and postal workers.
Fauci lied to Congress about funding Covid research in Wuhan, China, but the Biden administration supports him.
The above list shows that the America most of us grew up in is already gone, but there is no need to worry because the Church will soon be gone (Raptured) too.
FYI: Trump’s slogan was “Make America Great Again” (Strengthen America don’t weaken it). Biden’s slogan was “Build Back Better” (Get rid of the old America and build it back with a different America. That is what he is doing). Obama called it “The Fundamental Transformation of America”).
This writer believes the length of the above list could easily be doubled, but readers will get the point, and there are other things that need to be mentioned.
One, concerning the decline of the U.S. and the establishment of the Ten Kings: on Sept. 20, 2021, it was reported that the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) met to discuss weakened ties to the U.S. and the restructuring of CELAC into a block of nations patterned after the E.U.
Ten groups of nations patterned after the E.U. with a leader over each group (Ten leaders or Ten Kings) that would eventually cede their power to one leader has been a globalist goal for many years.
Also concerning the decline of the U.S.: Biden’s surrender to the Taliban in Afghanistan has triggered calls for the E.U. to establish a military that does not have ties to NATO.
Also concerning the decline of the U.S.: France has recalled its ambassador to the U.S. for the first time in history over a deal the U.S. and U.K. made to provide Australia with the technology to build submarines.
Two, concerning world government: the globalists have weakened America, and now China wants to replace America, take over the New World Order (NWO) and dominate it, not submit to it.
The globalists are just as much against China dominating their New World Order as they were against America dominating it.
George Soros and some of his globalist buddies are now getting worried about the growing power of China. They are even trying to cut off investments in China to weaken China like they weakened the U.S.
According to the Bible, the E.U. will be the main power in the coming world government, not China.
Expect China to resist and invade the Middle East as one of the Kings of the East, but don’t expect China to defeat the Antichrist and head up the coming world government.
Three, concerning the Mark of the Beast: it will be a global mandate to identify and track everyone on earth, and it will go into effect at the middle of the Tribulation Period.
There is good reason to believe that Covid-19 vaccine certificates are on the way to becoming a global mandate to identify and track people.
On Sept. 15, 2021, it was reported that 35-40 nations (Israel, the E.U., and other nations that want to join) will have a digital system in place by early October to identify and track those that have been vaccinated and those that have had Covid-19 and recovered. Those that get an approved certificate will be allowed to travel, enter restaurants and other venues, but those that don’t get one will not be allowed to do these things.
Four, concerning Israel and Jerusalem: America’s Deep State has manipulated Pres. Biden into many mistakes since putting him into office.
It seems that God is willing to let America’s Deep State and Biden weaken America because He said He will allow them to establish a godless world government and religion for seven years.
But now, these godless people appear to be preparing to weaken Israel by reopening America’s special consulate for the P.A. in Jerusalem and canceling America’s recognition of Jerusalem as the undivided capital of Israel.
God will allow them to do this for three reasons:
He is letting Israel learn to trust Him and not the nations.
He is letting the nations choose their own judgment (what they try to do to Israel will come back on them; Zech. 12:3).
He is letting the world know that He is God, He restored Israel, and Israel cannot be destroyed (Amos 9:11-15).
FYI: America’s Deep State apparently does not know, believe, or understand the story about Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the fiery furnace (a type of Israel in the Tribulation Period). One like the Son of God delivered them out of it (Dan. 3:25), and all Israel, all that believe in Yeshua, will be saved in the wilderness (Matt. 25:16-22) by a Deliverer out of Zion (Rom. 11:26).
Five, in May of this year, terrorists in Gaza fired more than 4,000 rockets into Israel, but many were shot down by Israel’s anti-missile Iron Dome System.
Israel needs to replace and boost her stock of Iron Dome missiles.
In June of this year, U.S. Sec. of State Lloyd Austin told Israel’s Defense Min. Benny Gantz that the U.S. plans to replace Israel’s Iron Dome missiles. On Aug. 27, Pres. Biden met with Israeli Prime Min. Bennett and said the U.S. will replace Israel’s Iron Dome missiles. Nancy Pelosi recently put $1 billion to replace Israel’s Iron Dome missiles in a bill to raise the U.S. debt ceiling, but the Squad and other leftist Democrats strongly objected to spending money on the defense of Israel. Pelosi removed the money but promised to put it in a later bill.
The Biden administration has made many mistakes (Afghanistan, border with Mexico, etc.), but nothing could be as bad as abandoning its promises to defend Israel.
Six, concerning the division of Israel and the Battle of Armageddon: on Sept. 21, 2021, Pres. Biden repeated his support for the Two-State solution in a speech at the U.N. (but he did say it will be a long time before it happens).
Seven, concerning wickedness and corruption at the end of the age: on Sept. 16, 2021, Special Counsel John Durham got an indictment against a Democrat lawyer for creating and giving false information (lying) to the FBI to smear Pres. Trump during the 2016 Pres. Campaign. According to the indictment, the lawyer’s lies were used to suggest that Trump was colluding with the Russians.
In 2016, the FBI questioned him about it, and he gave the FBI false information while claiming to be an ordinary citizen and denied that he was being paid by anyone to give the FBI a false story.
It is now 5 years later, and the FBI says it has proof that the Democrat lawyer was billing the Clinton campaign, and Clinton’s group was paying him for his work. There are now rumors that Durham plans to go after Mrs. Clinton, but this writer is skeptical. It would not be surprising if Durham goes after some of Clinton’s aides, but Clinton is a prominent member of America’s Deep State.
Some say George Soros is destroying America, and Obama is in his third presidency, but nothing is ever done about what they are doing. Why?
The DOJ and FBI appear to be treating America’s Deep State as a protected class of people. If this is not true, why haven’t they been prosecuted for some of the things they have done? If it is true, it means the DOJ and FBI are protecting the wickedness, corruption, and treason of America’s Deep State (like in the days of Noah when the wickedness of man was great).
FYI: Here is some good news.
If (a big “IF”) God allows the Antichrist to confirm a 7-year covenant with many for peace in the Middle East by 2030, Jesus will be sitting on the throne of David in Jerusalem, and the Kingdom of God will exist on earth by 2037. Christians will be here in new bodies with their loved ones; Christians won’t get sick or die; there will be peace, justice, and righteousness on earth; no Covid, etc.
The bad things mentioned above are signs that a new world is coming soon.
Eight, concerning a falling away in the Church: on Sept. 21, 2021, LifeSiteNews reported that Pope Francis has a history of praising pro-abortion politicians, he supports serving communion to pro-abortion politicians, and he has endorsed gay civil unions.
Pope Francis has the spiritual qualifications of the False Prophet (supports world government, world religion, etc.), but he is getting old. If he is the False Prophet, the Rapture could be very soon.
Before closing, here is a personal message.
I get a little uncomfortable when other ministries ask me to publicize what they are doing because if they or some of their people go astray, I don’t want it to have a negative impact on Rapture Ready or my ministry. Having said this, a Christian group called Tactical Civics is seeking God-fearing patriots that want to restore America. I am thankful for (and support) anyone that wants to restore America. A member of the group has asked me to encourage people that Love Jesus and America to watch the 11-minute video at this link: www.tacticalcivics.com/video
The group wants more people to know what they are doing and perhaps get involved.
Finally, are you Rapture Ready?
If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.

To reiterate.
The virus is real, masking kinda helps, the vaccines are real, effective and fine.
The issue I have is not that the vaccines “don’t work,” or.. have “magnetic whatever” in them (they don’t.) That’s hooey. The reality is, yes, COVID19 is real, the vaccines are real. In fact, mRNA vaccines, once the bugs are worked out, will enable RAPID response to the onset of actually very bad plagues or bio-weapons in a very short time, and have the potential to render a virus toothless out to ten billion generations of natural mutation from the source, given enough development. the mRNA vaccines or conventional COVID19 vaccines are not there to sterilize you, give you learning disabilities or autism, or TURN THE FREAKIN’ FROGS GAY.
The real problem is that this virus didn’t need to exist, and it is beyond disbelief to imagine that a corona virus with characteristics of multiple different corona virus families, many of which from species with no hereditary function to apply or infect human beings, would just fly out of the ether. COVID19 was without precedent and was shown to have characteristics identical to other corona viruses not of its hereditary lineage, but cousin species. However this discourse has gotten awfully quiiet, for some reason. It wasn’t just a Pangolin virus that gained the ability to negatively interact with human lungs. That did not happen by natural mutation in the wild.
Considering the fact it verywell and probably was a weapon that just so happened to escape from the literal god damned Chinese military COVID biolab in Wuhan, funded by Fauci’s little group, where they were STUDYING THIS EXACT BULLSHIT, that may be a reason of international diplomatic relations and national security. Despite being rather obvious to anyone that thinks about it for two god damned minutes.
So we have an American-Chinese team where they study gain-of-function in corona viruses in a Chinese military bio-lab, a virus with grab bag characteristics that IT CANNOT GAIN THROUGH NATURAL EVOLUTION ARBITRARILY (no two mutations are EVER the same. You don’t get the same fucking spike through convergent mutation, that shit was spliced and inherited) and surprise surprise it escaped and made its way across the globe because the Chinese corrupted and manipulated the WHO and international bodies into keeping quiet and not asking questions on threat of nuclear war (look it up. The US tried to probe, China threatened.)
And ultimately, what is the damage of the virus? Actually rather little. It was never going to exterminate more than 1-2% of the human species before we all gained natural immunity to it, or it thinned the herd enough for allow natural immunity at the great expense. Same as corona viruses from everywhere else on earth humans have dealt with since antiquity. It’s just another virus that can kill you and will more than likely kill the elderly and those with pre-existing health conditions.
So then, why release a milquetoast virus as a doomsday weapon? And there’s the rub.
COVID19 was not created to cleanse the world like a conventional bio-nuke. It was created to be the backdrop for a greater discussion and practical argument for socialism. After using the bureaucracy to negate alternatives and other options, inertia in the system designed to prevent functioning and solving this problem in any logical of reasonable fashion, they want to have a “discussion” about how to fix this.
The real discussions they want to have are about the poor and the exposed, about how there’s now a need to prevent people from being homeless regardless of their ability to pay for a shelter, or work for pay. A reason to declare it to be wrong to hold church masses, but turn a blind eye to other people having maskless close-quarters gatherings. A reason to demand a kind of “practical conformity” in the form of masks, whether or not they actually do anything to eliminate virus transmission outside of a clinical setting or from lack of switching them out enough.
The virus was created to be a prop and a natural hazard as people argue for the “necessity” of their ideological bullshit. It was a weapon designed to punish inaction and the lack of addressing infection vectors. It was created specifically to argue that, “nobody, despite their age or level of infirmity, should be accepted to just die from natural greater exposure,” since they disagree that just because you’re old, you should be more vulnerable to illness.
So they’ve argued and used a virus as a weapon to demand everybody tighten their belts and we stop accepting that just because someone is morbidly obese and with other co-morbidities and age related weakness, that a wave of flu that for the rest of humanity is unfortunate and inconvenient but survivable, takes out people 80+. COVID19 is simply a weaponized prop for this “turning point” discussion.
But it’s not JUST a weapon designed to make those conversations about, “social change,” more real, it’s a weapon designed to make healthcare a bigger part of government and policy making as a whole. Creating a necessity via healthcare necessities, such as through viruses released into the wild to mutate and change. Or, if not naturally mutate and change, occasionally refresh the antagonist pool by dropping new and more virulent strains artificially created and cultured. Y’know, as a treat.
This is why so many like Faucci are in on it. What on earth would the medical establishment have to gain from colaboration with the Chinese military? A fast tracking towards vaccine technology that otherwise may’ve taken decades to fully realize, but due to practical and pragmatic reasons, can now be argued to get “needed” funds and necessitate rapid approval and development. Undercutting miles of red tape and time gated meetings, approvals, commitees, deliberations and refinements and trials, due to it basically being, “wartime emergency.”
And it isn’t even about gaining billions, conceivably trillions of dollars in profit. Just greed, there are better avenues for that then this haphazard cloak&dagger mess. It’s this entire performance is about engineering, “social change” and turning the world into a theater.
This method to “have convuhsayshuns uwu” and flex a bit of authoritarian moralist muscle is the epitome of everything that is wrong with, “social justice”, as defined by these fucks. Manufacture a problem and then use social manipulation techniques and set the house on fire to distract and force priority of discussion, only converse in the way and topic of what and how you want to converse, and disallow conversation that might take the outcome away from the target. It’s cold blooded, it’s manipulative, it’s machivallian, it’s fucking psychotic. And oh so familiarly, it’s in the interests of somebody’s, “greater good.”
Every complaint the supposed “left” has about hawk&dove war mongering against tangible other people and governments, the need for civil rights and diplomacy, the need for privacy from government, goes out the window when it comes to something like a virus or plague. They’ll very happily use the wartime economy and social schism to impose their own moralist versions of jingoism. And a virus is the perfect thing to weaponize to get what they want. Just rather than fight an unwinnable war against drugs or islamoimperialism, they seek to turn the wartime economy towards and war on illness. Replacing the military with the medical establishment.
And when the curtain finally falls and people point out this has all been smoke and mirrors, a massive play to dismantle churches, reshape the social sphere, make the New Normal not accepting seasonal viruses wiping out the elderly and infirm just because you can’t stop seasonal viruses, they’re going to ask, “But what did we really lose, though? :^)”

What is a “Police State”?
Over the past week the issues of police violence and institutional white supremacy, which have plagued America for years, are now being discussed in many arenas in which they have long been ignored. Ideas ranging from moderate reform to outright dismantling of police departments are being discussed in increasingly mainstream circles. In earlier days of social media I used to sometimes express my views that America was a police state. This was mostly during the Bush administration, and I feel the idea was generally dismissed as an exaggeration even though I meant it quite literally. I felt like I wasn't very good at talking about it and unfortunately, rather than get better, I mostly just stopped. I am trying to rectify that now. It is time to speak up and more frequently - in this post I'd like to try explain the issue a different way, using a local example:
I live in Los Angeles, California - a city and state broadly perceived as liberal or even (by American standards) "progressive", with a Democratic mayor, a Democratic city council (14 out of 15 seats), and a Democratic sheriff. At the same time, Los Angeles police department has a nationwide reputation for racism and brutality, largely dating back to the 1991 assault on Rodney King - a crime which similarly brought the issues of police violence and structural racism into mainstream discussions, in an unprecedented way.
Those discussions happened at the scale and level they did because the beating of Rodney King was caught on camera. At that time, video cameras were still relatively new and not a lot of people had them. In the thirty years since, the world has changed and now the average citizen has a camera in their pocket at all times. I cannot even count how many incidents of police brutality - from beatings to outright murder - have been captured and discussed at all levels of society in the thirty years since. In the past decade alone the frequent murders of Black citizens at the hands of police, and the brutality with which police respond to calls for justice for those murders, have frequently reappeared in mainstream news cycles, and even been acknowledged at multiple levels of government.
Take all of that into consideration when you consider the chart attached to this post (graphics below by Peoples Budget LA), which depicts the proposed Los Angeles city budget for the year 2021, thirty years after the assault on Rodney King, after hundreds of clearly and widely documented incidents have made it obvious just how violent and racist the police in this country are. The chart shows billions of dollars going to the LAPD while all other areas, from emergency management to housing to community investment, receive crumbs.
Tumblr media
Not only is the overfunding of a violent racist police force a problem, but the underfunding of every other area of city life contributes to the conditions causing crime in the first place. Adequate funding of areas from mental healthcare to social work to housing would go far further towards combatting many of the issues we face in this country than overemphasis on law enforcement.
This is not an accident. The mayor and city council of Los Angeles have not been living under a rock for thirty years. They have seen the same videos we've seen, they are well aware of police brutality, and similarly they are well aware of the fact that underfunding areas from community services to housing contribute to crime. This is entirely on purpose - and the pattern you see here in Los Angeles is repeated all over the country. This is why all over the United States we see police forces armed to the teeth with expensive weapons and armor while basic infrastructure, schools, and housing are neglected, especially in marginalized communities. This is exactly what is meant by a police state: there is one primary beneficiary of the state, and it is increasingly militant police forces, propping up an increasingly nakedly racist power structure.
There is a tendency in liberal and even progressive circles to frame racism as a "Republican problem" and to focus on the current president. It isn't, not even remotely. Hopefully the example I'm showing you in this post can illustrate the point that simply "voting blue" is not remotely a solution to police brutality or structural racism, and that these problems are and have been severe all over America no matter which party is in charge, whether at municipal level or federal.
We are well past the point where reform is an option. The idea of law enforcement and "policing" need to be rethought and rebuilt from the ground up. Personally, I see the idea of "policing" as something that starts with the _self_ first, and then extends to one's own community, and with increasing patience and kindness as one goes further from the realm of one's own knowledge and experience - and I realize that's not a "realistic policy proposal", it's a mentality, a framework. In terms of real change, I think we need to push for the abolition of existing police forces and of the idea of a permanent police "identity" and push towards community oriented solutions that involve the participation of all, with a strong emphasis on deescalation and conflict resolution.

This article is a must read, and so I have posted it here. Douglas Rushkoff is a fantastic human, please follow him on twitter here. Check out his books and Ted talks, he also has interviews on Youtube.
Anyway this article is just...incredibly revealing. America is really just one big PsyOp. His comments on civilization are A+++:
“Until quite recently, films like 1954’s Abstract in Concrete were banned for American viewers. Although produced with U.S. tax dollars, this cinematic interpretation of the lights of Times Square was meant for European consumption only. Like the rest of the art and culture exported by the United States Information Agency, Abstract in Concrete was part of a propaganda effort to make our country look more free, open, and tolerant than many of us preceived or even wanted it to be. In the mid-1940’s, when conservative members Congress got wind of the progressive image of America we were projecting abroad, they almost cut the USIA’s funding, potentially reducing America’s global influence.
Well, America today is in no danger of projecting too free, open, or tolerant a picture of itself to the world. But I’m starting to wonder if maybe the nationalist, xenophobic, inward-turned America on display to the world these days might just be the real us — the real U.S. Maybe the propaganda we created to make ourselves look like the leading proponents of global collaboration and harmony was just that: propaganda.
~Once the USSR and the U.S. divided Europe into East and West and the Cold War began, America went on a propaganda effort to present itself as more enlightened and free than the communists.~
Since the great World Wars, America has had a vested interest in fostering a certain global order. President Woodrow Wilson, who had run for president on a peace platform, ended up bringing America into World War I. When it was done, he established something called The League of Nations, which was meant to keep the peace. Thanks to an isolationist Congress, however, the United States never actually joined the League of Nations. That should have been a big hint that America’s interest in global cooperation was fleeting, at best.
During World War II, Roosevelt took his shot at global harmony with his “Declaration by United Nations,” which eventually gave birth to the UN, dedicated to international peace and basic human rights around the world. To most Americans, however, the United Nations represented little more than a way of preventing the sort of war that would again require American intervention. Yes, it was in New York, and yes, it was conceived and spearheaded by Americans but this didn’t mean that America really thought of itself as part of a great international community. The UN was really just a way for us to avoid having to go “over there” again.
This was surprising to me. I grew up in the 1970s, at the height of America’s cultural outreach to Europe and the world. I remember how great Russian artists and ballet dancers would come to New York, and how American artists and writers would go to Europe. There were exchange students in my high school from Italy, France, and Germany. The outside world — the international society of musicians, writers, thinkers that America was fostering— seemed more artistic, cultural, and tolerant than what I knew here, at home. It seemed like the future.
~~~
This was by design, and part of a propaganda effort that began in the 1940's. Once the USSR and the U.S. divided Europe into East and West and the Cold War began, America went on a propaganda effort to present itself as more enlightened and free than the communists. The State Department, the CIA, and the United States Information Agency, as well as an assortment of foundations from Rockefeller’s to Fulbright’s, all dedicated themselves to painting a positive picture of America abroad. This was big money; by the late 1950’s the USIA alone spent over $2 billion of public money a year on newsreels, radio broadcasts, journalism, and international appearances and exhibitions. This included everything from Paris Review articles to Dizzy Gillespie concerts.
The problem was that the image of America that these agencies projected to the world wasn’t the image many Americans had of their country. Information agencies were busy trying to make us look like an open and free society, as sophisticated and cosmopolitan as any European one. So, abstract art exhibits and films, book collections with modernist novels, intellectuals, people of color, modern dancers, and all sorts of avant-garde culture was sent for consumption abroad.
Conservative Americans, as well as the senators who represented them, saw this stuff as gay, communist, Jewish, urban, effete, and an altogether terrible misrepresentation of who we were and what we stood for. Why, they asked, should we be spending upwards of two billion dollars exporting decadent, self-indulgent art and culture to the world?
~~~
So Congress — convinced that there was still a national security advantage, or at least a business justification, in maintaining American global outreach — passed a compromise called the Smith-Mundt Act in 1948. The law made it illegal for the USIA to release any of its propaganda within the United States. Ostensibly, this was to protect Americans from the potentially manipulative propaganda it was spreading abroad. Information is a form of PSYOPS (psychological operations), after all, and we are not going to use such weapons on our own people.
But the real reason for the Smith-Mundt act was to prevent Americans from seeing themselves represented in ways that they didn’t agree with. The books in the traveling library were titles that many Americans thought would be better burned than celebrated. And the overall ethos of the program — to promote America’s internationalism and free society — were in direct contradiction to the values that many Americans held. The Smith-Mundt act created a wall between the image of America we exported to the world, and the one we maintained about ourselves.
By the time the Internet emerged, this division became impossible to keep up. YouTube, the Internet Archive, and Facebook bring everything to everyone. So in 2012, Smith-Mundt was repealed. Concerned netizens saw a conspiracy. Did this mean the government would now be free to use its psychological warfare on U.S. citizens? Perhaps. But the real intent was to relieve the government’s communications agencies from trying to hide their messaging from Americans in an age when hiding such programming is impossible.
~~~
But now that Americans are becoming more aware of America’s internationalist activities and sentiments, many are horrified and calling for retreat. This is the province of George Soros, the Rothschilds, and the Zionist conspiracy — not the good old U.S. of A. I wonder: was the Smith-Mundt Act hiding an internationalist and open-minded America from the few Americans who weren’t ready for it? Or was it simply hiding the nationalist and backwards-thinking America from the world? For all our efforts at telling Europe otherwise, maybe we are not really the modern society we self-styled proponents of public diplomacy like to think we are.
The measure of a civilization’s advancement is its capacity to insulate its people from the cruelty of nature. Right now, Americans don’t seem to be dedicated to that principle. Civilizations build public roads, baths, aqueducts, and later transportation, healthcare, and education into the fabric of society, as givens. Instead of seeing the poor as deserving of discomfort, civilizations see all human beings as deserving of essential human dignity. The more a civilization can spread these basic human rights and freedoms through the world, the more advanced the civilization.
However, this particular understanding of modernity and enlightenment is not universal. Instead of breaking down boundaries and building an international society, America’s current stated goal is to reject globalism, build walls, and treat other nations as business competitors. The America we were once hiding behind billion-dollar international culture campaigns is now the America we are broadcasting to the world. Instead of compensating for our American-made missiles with progressive art and media, now we are justifying their sale and use with America-first rhetoric.
America’s best hope for cross-border connection, identification, and intimacy is its people. This means you and me, sharing our beliefs, aspirations, culture, and compassion with as much of the world as possible. Just as conservatives fought against the export of an America they didn’t agree with is, it’s the progressives’ turn to speak on behalf of the connected and collaborative world we still hope for — even if we aren’t fit to be its leader, anymore.
Abdel Fattah Lukashenko Al-Sisi
Tumblr media
Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, how the general tightened his grip on Egypt in January at the beginning of last year.
The Egyptian official warmly welcomed his guest President Alexander Lukashenko yesterday. Please, please. The audience applauded and the Sissi smiled with them, who seemed very happy, and he may finally find a low for his personal use in the coming presidential elections. There is no better person than Russia’s iron and fireman, Alexander Lukashenko, who won not only in his election but in Russia’s locked in Europe. The last remaining ruins of the old world of communism. Ten million people. A capital called Minsk. Elections every seven years and Azli’s president have been in power for 23 years. Represented on Sunday night, December 19th, 2010. We are safe for the opponents of one of the world’s most despotic presidents. On the night of the next president's election, nine presidential candidates tried to oust Lukashenko, who has been in power since 19494 for three consecutive rounds at the start of the count. Belarus Central elections Committee declared that all nine candidates will probably get less than half of the votes that Lukashenko will gain. Candidates gathered their supporters and landed in Minsk streets ten thousand opposers, who thought they would stop the election fraud, but Lukashenko shot the police forces, arresting seven of the nine presidential candidates and six hundred opposers. The election thus died in clinical trials. The same night, the red election Commission announced what everyone knew. Eighty percent of the votes for Azli President Lukashenko himself competed. He won himself as well. It is about two thousand five hundred kilometers, passing through five countries and four years only. Abdel Fattah al-Sisi as Egypt’s defense minister, who did not have to run for real elections at the beginning of his rise. All roads to the federal palace were open. Successful coup, a turbulent political period, and popular direction toward the military. All this has made the defense minister’s presidential nomination a mere picnic by empty election committees on her shows. No real electoral program. The first election after a coup is the easiest. But he knew that 1818 would carry potential rivals from inside and outside the military. He was known to have had to tighten his grip over four years and to be well prepared to eliminate his rivals. How to win presidential elections in six steps without a teacher. First. Mansour's hunt. Al-Sisi started hunting the leaders of the armed forces. For a full five years. September 2002, 70 brigade members, a large number of the members of the military Council, and close to Tantawi. To retire. The file of the State Land Administration was extracted from major General Adel Emara and forced major General Ismail Othman, director of the Department of moral Affairs, to handle private moral affairs. Strong positions in the junta, such as Mohsen Al-Fangri, Samy Diab, Mukhtar al-Milla, and others, were redesigned as operational levels, which could be called a controlled brigade. Nine months to prepare for the coup, and eight months to unroll its opponents. Second. The opposition required representation by almost everyone. Ten documented massacres against more than 2,600 opponents, about 22,000 dead. More than 10,000 people are infected in just seven months. Third. International shields abroad No major country has moved dormant. Washington stood an arm for Sissi, which refused to call him a coup and kept pressure not to stop aids in any way. The US Congress was the emerging General’s firewall. When Senator Rand Paul asked to cut off military aid after the coup and even the presidential election, Senator John McCain led a counter-voting campaign and crushed it. A sea of funds is quite UAE and Saudi Arabia to support it. At least 31 billion dollars, no one knows where the setback of Europe has gone before the coup seeking future investments. The general bought Moscow support early with more than $4 billion that went to the Russian weapons companies. Israel supported Al-Sissi as no one did, like any other, security and intelligence coordination that was unprecedented in Egypt's history. A fruitful Israeli pressure on Washington to release Apache planes and deliver them to Cairo. Fourth. Back to the comrades of arms, the second fall of Sissi came on the army commands, starting with my law number 18. They have been the fortress of his position as Minister of Defense and the structure of the military Council. Then he sent another set of sayings to catch their capsule on a trip without return. Famous names such as major General Mohammad Arafat, commander of the southern region, and Ahmad Wsuri, commander of the second army. As his son Mahmoud Hijazi ascends the Chief of Staff and Sadiqi Sobhi is a defense. The general accumulated his papers as hell shields for any local opposition. An army led by his friends and family and then the moment has come. He gave himself the position of the Mir and then removed his military response to take over the presidency without any obstacles. The iron fist as usual is any dictator who loved the Sessi doubling his black numbers and burying himself. The weakness of the detainees reached in May 2005 more than 41.000. He rewarded the police for doubling their armament. Only two months after he took office. By the end of July 2004. Major General said Abbas, the northern region leader, and Dahr Abdullah, head of the military engineering organization, called the Council forever. Thus, the General had only two obstacles to be left to the beginning of his presidency. Fifth. The power centers flag Mubarak's flags did not greet the general, so a plan for his penetration and adaptation was launched by his men to fall in their grip by big stations and institutions. The networks of the CCBC, Al-Nahar, Al-Hayat, radio channels and waves, and former sovereign officers controlling the media scene, such as Yasser Salim and Sharif, are out. Or businessmen who have quickly made lightning strikes like Ahmed Abu Hiroshima and Tariq Ismail. One of the General's mysterious arms, which is not known for much. Najib Sawiris, who later withdrew from the scene, was with them. Sixth. Black holes. To solve his last problem, Sissi spent billions of pounds. Build the largest prison network. In Egypt's history. Twelve additional prisons between 2004 and 2005, and five prisons in 2006 and fourteen under construction since 2007 and now are major prisons that swallow anyone who thinks of him in the face of four presidential years of security repression. And regional and international deals. The second election of the admiring foreign general was historic, estimated at $81 billion, and at least historic internal debt of $190 billion and total. No. Astronomical. Debts exceeded LE4 and half trillion barrier; violent economic crises. More than 30 million Egyptians are below the poverty line. Armed organizations that come out of Sinai borders are deployed in Egypt in full despite dozens of weapons deals for the anti-terrorism regime. Riyadh and Abu Dhabi financed 20 billion dollars without using and crushing the public domain, which the general translated with more than one hundred thousand detainees, half of them on political charges. So Sissi knew the game was losing. He cannot stand up to popular anger and serious candidates, and his friend Lukashenko was right. If you want to win a single-vote, as much as you can with women, and you can win the fall of the candidates early. In just two months, you have all fallen the Sisi. Army colonel Ahmed Qansawa appeared. He is also a candidate and a renamer. Face the polite. Military suit. Arabic and healthy. Good English a coherent speech and expressions of self-confidence in which General Haggis saw his first home out of control. By December, the colonel was in his new home with military prison, so the hardliner registered for six years. Al-Sisi borrowed the map of Ibn Salman and detained Ahmad Shafiq in a hotel after his return to Egypt and declared his candidacy. At the beginning of January, the team followed safety and decided its favorite one in 2004 and withdrew. The slaying of the paper, Mohamed Anwar Sadat, head of the opposition reform and Development Party, started easily with a well-planned media attack on which a timetable for elections and an official period for collecting nomination formations are not enough to handle his breakfast. He withdrew. As for General Sami Annan, former Chief of Staff of the Armed forces and one of the highest army commands in the last 20 years, the general exceeded all historical traditions with him. He was arrested from his home for being forcibly hidden and charged with violating military traditions and laws. The last autumn paper was Khaled Ali, who withdrew from the Belarusian Egypt elections, and the Egyptian general would apply the complete guide of Lukashenko. On March 26, 2004, Sessi told everyone that no Egyptian could be forced to elect a president they did not want. The science of truth has made it. A president who came in a military coup that does not leave immediately after his first term. No one will do it. General Franco ruled Spain with iron and fire after his coup and until his death for about 40 years, and Gaddafi left judgment for forty-two years and delivered him with a coup except for a dead body, and crushed a Chilean sniffer for 17 years until Chileans recovered after articles and General Kanaan's arrest on Ankara, leaving only 150,000 detainees And for the vast years of hell, they all went away after long years. Lukashenko himself has not yet left, and though he did not come in a coup like his predecessors or his Sisi friend, the Egyptian general ate the shoulder and benefited from the experiences of all and crushed all. He does not seem to be going soon. It seems. Who came without an election does not leave with elections. Any elections.
Pearls of Wisdoms for Pakis
Tumblr media
Beloved Janta of Pakistan,
I would also like to share a secret with you, which you might never apprehend from a person from any other country, especially from an Indian. We LOVE YOU, We are obsessed with you. We enjoy infatuation comparable to that of a 14-year boy who has one on a girl living in his neighborhood, like that teenager whose heart warms up with the girl's sight. Still, he tends to tease her or plays whimsical pranks on her. It is his way of showing his affection.
Accept it, my fellow former Countrymen, you guys are in deep love with us as well. I have felt it first-hand. You folks love watching our Movies and fantasy our starlets. Sing Bollywood songs while proposing to your love. Ache to enjoy Mumbai and Delhi's nightlife. Some of you would even love to reside permanently here for a better future. There is also constant discrimination in every viewpoint; it may be Cricket or politics; in all honesty, you think of our day and night.
Keeping this indefinable affection for each other aside for a while, there is a bitter revelation that you people will have to accept and even feed it in the brains of the future generations to come. I am sure that maximum people over your side of the border should by now have conceded that India will never ever surrender Kashmir in your Lap. It won't be possible in at least another century ahead.
You see, in the manner where India's GDP had expanded from 10 Thousand Crores in the 1950s to more than 10 Lacs Crores in 2019, our sentiment of Nationalism has additionally, grown in a comparable pattern. There was a phenomenal hike in this feeling after India's general elections 2014 onwards; the reason for such an increase is unknown to me. So, the moral is, with such a vast Nationalism level in the hearts of the Aam Janta here, I don't think so parting away an inch of land to anyone would be possible.
Won't it look dishonorable for us in the front of the entire world if we lose the land to you guys who are quite behind then us in all the aspects? You will have to accept that technically both our countries are 73 years old this year. Over this side of the border, we have gradually upgraded in all aspects a Nation has to grow. I could virtually challenge you in where you guys can prove to be better in any improvement zone. This is the land wherein the year 1981 Indian Actor Amitabh enacted on the evergreen song "Dekha Ek Khawab " and his Dame Rekha in the movie Silsila hence parting away with Kashmir is painful to us as it will not only hurt our Ego and furthermore offer grief to Amitji.
Forget the BJP led NDA, Even the Congress-led UPA cannot think of such a gormless deal. The primary reason is that they want to come into power next term too to provide Public service. Now you people only tell which government will be such dimwits to kick their own rear and be signed on the history textbook of 10-year-old kids as the People who gave away Kashmir.
Realize this, Pakistani Government, Your Army and also ISI can't withhold the idea of getting the region of Kashmir in your Nation's Map, even they know that your national flag will never rise in Capital of Srinagar but since it was an Inaugural Political Agenda when your Country was created in where the principal objective of this agenda was to collect vote from you guys and funds from other countries in the name of Kashmir. It is their lollypop for you fellows that their respective parties if came in power, an ideal environment will be created where; a newly wedded couple from Lahore can drive to Srinagar for their honeymoon without a stamp on their Passport and enjoy a bite of Kashmiri Apple laying in the front deck of a Shikara in Dal Sarovar. It's All Fake, acknowledge it, and move on.
So to my Indian friends,
There was a massive inspiration for me to compose this article. It was shocking that it came from the other side of the border. In the great Indian lockdown of 2020, I who was ideally workless like many of us all, I went through many videos of this Pakistani Newsreader and Political Debate Show Host Dr. Fiza Akbar Khan on YouTube. By her venomous language, the passion for thrashing India and people over here and that high pitched voice made me think of another Indian Debate Show Host.  I am convinced that they are unquestionably biologically related to each other. So I should not have a problem with her blabbering rubbish towards my Country as her Bhaiya here likewise.
But I have to admit that her language did hurt me because, unlike her Bhaiya over there who trashes Pakistan in the English language, she uses Urdu, which sounds quite similar to the Hindi language to illuminate unpleasant garbage, the reason is entirely psychological for me being hurt. For example, If somebody calls you a Motherfucker, you might not be offended in the same manner if you are called Madar***d (Pardon my Language).
This Pakistani Anchor goes on and on that How Poor, Uneducated, Physically and Mentally Weak, Shelterless, we Indians live in this Country where our economy is going into the drain. We are foolish people to elect Shri Modi as PM of our Country and that too twice. There is a vast level of discrimination on minorities over here. The world's biggest Democracy is over. In the distant future, if Kashmir is not given to them its freedom, then Islamabad will be the next capital of Pakistan and India.
Can you believe this, she has mentioned all this on her show and that too in a language which can easily pierce in our heart. Let's not get also angered about this and start calling her names. She is just doing her job. She is giving favored content to people of over there what her Bhaiya is doing over there.
As pragmatic as I can get about whatever she says on her show about us, I just can't accept it, I am too egoistic as an Indian to even reply or curse on her Video on YouTube comment section. Hence, I planned to dedicate this entire blog to Dr. Fiza Khan, whom I seriously don't mean to offend as Women, her Nation, and especially not her Religion and would like to give her some advice.
Avoid Echoing about Nukes: A round of applause towards Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan for building Nuclear Weapons, a program from a stolen uranium centrifuge design and a network of grey-market suppliers. But stop jabbering in your show that Pakis can nuke India in case a War erupts between us. Even If Jinnah Sahab from Heaven above commands your Arm Force to it, they will effortlessly deny his orders and don't stress. We likewise won't squander our atomic weapon on you. These weapons are like those expensive Portraits which you can proudly hang in your Living Room, but can't take it out on a date. Stop even using the word Nuke in your show.
Comparison between the PMs: PM Imran Sahab seems to be a jolly good fellow who also appears to try to administrate better than any other PMs or Military leaders of your Country. Let me tell you bluntly that there is no comparison with his Counterpart over here; in fact, he even doesn't stand anywhere nearby India's previous Prime Minister.
Paki's Diplomatic Policies Debacle: This is a typical miscue. You and many colleagues of you have repeatedly misguided your Citizens that Pakistan can easily use the benefit of its diplomatic relationship with a few First World Country and pressurize India on Kashmir Issue. Well, Honey, This is an open challenge to your PM, along with Mr. Qureshi Sahab go to any so-called super Power for assistance or call end numbers of meeting in OIC ( Organisation of Islamic Cooperation ). Nobody will be ready to intervene in the Valley issue for one of the main reason, Why would any country create enmity with the Country will more than 100 Million Population which is a significant business open doors for their corporates.
Playing Second Fiddle: I initially watched your Debate show of earlier years. You always mentioned the US as your elder brother and will still stand next to you along with Saudi Arabia. These were the two countries which you saw as your personal ATM. Lately, these ATM machines stopped removing Cash and Kinds, which they earlier showered on your Country, so you bashed them and accused both these Super Power for adultery. These started leaning towards us. Then you went to China and become a Virtual Puppet who dances on their tunes. Now the problem arises that the entire world started forming against your elder brother and accused them as the creator of the Pandemic of 2020. So you began a rigid assembly against them as well, and now your nation is in an arrangement for another development with Malaysia and Turkey. Understand this dear Fiza ben that in distant future you will have to abuse these two countries also while your government will go and beg to some other countries, maybe North Korea.
Last but not least, which I have already mentioned why Kashmir will never be part of Pakistan earlier in the blog. Read repeatedly till the concept is glued by heart, and if possible, explain it to your people there.
Defense products will be purchased in the name of Kashmir. For Fiscal Year 20-21 Defense expenditure of Pakistan is 1,289 Billion Dollars. India's expenses on the same would be around 66 Billion Dollars. Can you believe these Figures? This Moolah could otherwise be used in Infrastructure and improving the lifestyle of citizens of the respective Country. Civilians and Soldiers' blood will be shed on the name of Kashmir. Approximately 120000 deaths have been registered since 1989, which also includes unsympathetic deaths of militants and terrorists. Television Media will go on with Live debates inviting aficionados and enthusiasts to increase their TRP on the name of Kashmir. Newspapers and magazines will publish viperous articles vocalizing each other's blame for being troublemakers on Kashmir's name. Many commercial Movies and Web Series will also be produced on Kashmir's name. Still, by endeavoring all means of Peace or War, this dream of some of yours will never be fulfilled.
“Americans live in a fantasy world”
Your autobiography is called "Chasing the Light." But did you find the light you were looking for?
That was the case when I was 40. At least the light of success, when “Platoon” became an absolutely unbelievable success. That was a "Cinderella" story of "Rocky" dimensions. Here we had an unknown B-movie that was shot in the Philippines for little money and then it became a monster hit all over the world. Before, the entire Hollywood community had rejected me, now suddenly the studios welcomed me again with open arms.
But the times when you moved the world with your films are long ago. Do you regret that?
No, because I’m happy and satisfied. I've made enough films and that took a lot of energy. There’s currently no topic that burns under my skin. I only did “Snowden” four years ago because I wanted to raise public awareness of the issue of the surveillance state. I thought that was my responsibility. But I wasn't as enthusiastic about that film as something like “Platoon.” Making a movie takes a year or two of your life. At 74, I have no motivation to shoot anything without great ambition, just for the sake of filmmaking. Besides that, Hollywood isn't interested in me anymore anyway. And I ask myself the question: does Hollywood even still exist?
Why wouldn't it be there anymore?
Who makes real films these days? Everyone works for television, where the average rules because all projects are trimmed down to the lowest possible denominator. There is more bureaucracy; decisions about projects are made in committee. The script development is the worst of all - it’s not called "development hell" for nothing. None of this goes with how I made films. They were outside the norm. I don't think a [company like] Netflix would understand. “Snowden” could only be made because the start-up funding came from Germany and France.
Are there really no subjects that you can warm to?
I would have liked to film the legal investigation of the My Lai massacre in Vietnam. It was a great story. But that didn't happen because negotiations were going on in the years after September 11th and a story about American soldiers creating bloodbaths among civilians didn't go over well. And my Martin Luther King project didn't work out because I wanted to address his infidelities as well, and his estate administrators objected to that.
How about a Donald Trump movie?
At the moment it doesn't make that much sense because his story is always evolving. Apart from that, so much has been written about him that I don't have much new to contribute. Ultimately, he's just a con man and a narcissist.
But in view of the upheavals he created, he would be an ideal film protagonist.
Frankly, he hasn't done any permanent damage yet. Yes, he has no morals. But did George W. Bush have any? He's no-good and from my point of view, he was by far the worst president we've ever had. He was a mediocre student who dodged Vietnam and still got the red carpet rolled out. As president, he was a pushover who pretended he was strong and then led us into a devastating war in the Middle East from which we have not recovered to this day. We have not yet recovered from the anti-terrorism legislation of the Patriot Act.
How do you see Barack Obama in comparison?
He proclaimed lofty intentions, but during his presidency whistleblowers were persecuted, bombing and drone attacks escalated. The point is, we are trapped in a system that we cannot break out of.
What kind of system do you mean?
One shaped by the conservative ideology of the military establishment. When Kennedy wanted to abolish this and establish a more peaceful policy, he was pushed out of the way. We are a militaristic society that has a cult of guns and military worship. The trillions we spend on our defense budget have ruined our country. We consider ourselves the strongest in the world, which I think is a fallacy. I myself have repeatedly denounced the machinations of the military, not least in my autobiography, in which I go into all the lies of the Vietnam War. We never admitted to ourselves how many of our soldiers were accidentally killed by our own forces. We told the lie that we didn't kill civilians and we lied to our taxpayers that we could win this war. The whole concept of victory was fucked up - right from the start of the war. Unfortunately in the USA far too few people dare to challenge the military. You need guts for that.
Despite all of your anti-war films and US-critical documentaries, not much has apparently changed. Are you disaffected?
Indeed I am. I would like to believe that I’m doing something good with my work. I also know that a lot of people have responded positively to it. Only at the government level nothing changes. Perhaps this is due to the deeply rooted aggressiveness of American society. When I go to Japan, I don't see any weapons. I experience a completely different culture that is characterized by mutual respect. They don't shoot each other in the street. You, in Europe, learned your lesson from World War II, which unfortunately did not become part of the American consciousness. We live in a fantasy world made up of video games and war films. People have no realistic idea of the nature of war. That's why we have no qualms about it.
Does that mean Americans should look to the rest of the world, rather than the other way around?
Yes, I would say that. Too many people in the US have no historical perspective. They live in Disneyland or on a golf course. They’re just fighting to move forward economically. That is their only thought. But we need some kind of world awareness. The people in Europe and Asia are much more educated and savvy. It's not just about making money [to them].
And how was it with you? You're an American too, and good money can be made with films.
That's why I never went into the film industry. I chose this route because I wanted to tell stories. Little did I know it was going to be a billion dollar blockbuster business. That wasn't good for cinema anyway, because films that say something about our society fell behind.
Have you never thought of emigrating? Your mother was French and your wife is a native Korean. Your last film was funded with European funds.
Of course I have. But I was shaped by America, I grew up and went to school here. And it's not as catastrophic here as it is sometimes portrayed by the media. I prefer to try to make things change. There are still many good people here. It’s worth fighting with them for a better America. And I'm also someone who believes in a happy ending.
Let's say you never developed this critical awareness. Then you could have had a much easier life. Would that be tempting to imagine?
Absolutely not. The average American lives in a world full of pain, he just doesn't understand it because he’s spiritually dead and only interested in material things. Such an existence is hell on earth. Of course, all these problems were tough to deal with. That's why there’s so much pain in my autobiography. But without that pain, I would’ve had a useless life. But as it is, my existence has a meaning - spiritual, political, social.
Do you remember the first time you volunteered for a noble cause?
It was at school. I was around ten then. There was a boy in my class - physically awkward, otherwise awkward and not particularly well educated. And he was bullied by the rest of the class. He was all alone and I felt sorry for him. So I stood up for him, which was not well received. As a result, I became an outsider too. That gave me my first good insight into how human society works.
But in the film industry, haven’t you been tough and struck some blows?
On the contrary. As a Vietnam veteran, I couldn't cope with society for a long time. I felt like a savage. That's why I consciously tried to be particularly careful and civilized with people. I should have talked to some of the experienced people. In this industry, people misbehave all the time and so, as a newcomer, I was really taken advantage of by people who had no such moral inhibitions.
You still seem relatively gentle and prudent. How did you manage to maintain that demeanor despite all the negativity that was beating down on you?
I've been studying Buddhism for almost 30 years and that helps me find inner harmony. But I’m not a person who scourges myself and walks around in a hairshirt. And I can't complain either. I had a good life.
You will never give up, even if you are no longer passionate about filmmaking?
No, there are so many other things that interest me. I keep doing my documentaries. We should each make the most of our life, to become more aware. It's a big responsibility. And we shouldn't say to ourselves: “It doesn't matter.” Otherwise we would live in a state of nihilism, and that doesn't work.
Chapter Ten - The New Captain America
“Miss King, I thought you would want to know that Secretary Ross just entered the compound.” Friday alerted you.
“Showtime.” You said with a savage smirk.
“Stark, Rogers. You arrested my brother in law?” Ross asked, anger dripping off him.
“He was dealing weapons under the table, to Hydra. We have irrefutable evidence.” Tony said, a little smugly.
“And you didn’t inform me of this before you did anything?”
“We were given the go ahead to hit the Hydra bases we uncovered, Mr King owned one of those bases and was on site when we launched our attack.”
“Uncle Thaddy?” You called, skidding around the corner.
“What are you doing here?” He demanded.
“Uncle Thaddy, they arrested my dad. He was working with Hydra.” You said, your eyes shining and a helpless, broken expression on your face.
Even Steve felt bad for you apparently because he instinctively moved closer to you.
“Captain, why is my niece in Avengers custody?” Ross snarled.
“What if Hydra come after me? Who’ll protect me? I can’t fight Nazi’s!” You protested.
Tony stuffed his fist into his mouth to stop from laughing at the affronted look on your face, like you were offended at the very idea of having to fight Hydra on your own.
“You had better show me this irrefutable evidence right now.” Ross dictated.
It hadn’t escaped anyone’s notice that your uncle had yet to speak directly to you as you moved to stand in front of him, with wide innocent eyes and a trembling bottom lip.
“I helped them, I dropped a bug in Daddy’s pocket. I had to Uncle Thaddy, I thought it would prove he was innocent but he wasn’t. He really was Hydra.” You said, a tear rolling down your cheek.
“Everything will be fine, I’ll handle this.” Your uncle said, patting you on the shoulder awkwardly.
“Please do, if everybody finds out then what’s going to happen to the company? We made weapons for Hydra Uncle Thaddy, what will people think of us? Will I lose the penthouse?” You wailed.
Ross barely contained his eye roll and thankfully didn’t see Tony’s shoulders shake violently at your bratty display.
“Please, just go get a glass of water and calm down. I’ll handle everything.” He said, dismissing you and stepping past you to continue onwards.
Tony silently high fived you.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Your phone rang in your pocket and you gave up your quest for Frank and answered it.
“Hello?”
“Your uncle just transferred all of his shares of King Inc to you.” Matt said without preamble.
“Well the Secretary of State can’t have shares in a company that was making weapons for Hydra.” You said, not even trying to contain your victory smirk.
“The board have called an Emergency meeting, you need to get to the company now. Foggy and I will meet you there.” He said.
“On my way.” You said, hanging up.
“You manipulated Ross into cutting ties with the company, well played. How were you sure he would transfer his shares to you?” Natasha asked any you looked around until you spotted her leaning against a window on the other side of the room.
“Because I’m his naive, easily manipulated flesh and blood.” You said with a shrug.
She gave you an appraising look and nodded in approval.
“Wanda and I agree that West is not Hydra. He’s helping us identify possible Hydra operatives who your father spent time with, and making soup with Wanda and Vision.” She informed you and you breathed a sigh of relief.
“And your cat is currently terrorizing Cap.” She added and you snorted.
“Well far be it from me to interfere with Frank’s decisions.” You decided.
“So you’ve managed to turn this mess with your father to your advantage then?” She noted.
“King Inc was always going to be mine, all my father did was move up the timeline.” You informed her.
“Why do you want it?” She asked.
“Why do I want a multi billion dollar company that has the funds and resources to help thousands if not millions of people? King inc wasn’t a tech company when it started, my mother was a biomedical scientist and King Inc was supposed to research, market and sell medication to the masses at affordable prices.” You told her.
“So you want to fufill your mothers vision for the company?”
“Not exactly...”
“Tell me about it on the way, I’ll drive you.” She told you.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
“Move.” Steve commanded.
Frank yawned lazily and twisted around to lie on his back.
“What are you doing?” Sam asked as he came in the room.
“He won’t move.” Steve said unamusedly.
Frank made a yowling sound like he was taunting Steve and Sam guffawed when he saw where Frank was.
“Sorry Cap, I think that’s his Shield now.” Sam said, laughing at the put out expression on Steve’s face.
“Everytime I try to move him he attacks me.” Steve said, showing Sam the already healing scratches covering his hands and forearms.
Frank swished his tail at Steve.
“I was annoyed at having a cat living here but I think I’ll allow it. Frank can stay.” Tony said through the speakers.
“Seriously Steve, you’re a super soldier. Just pick the cat up.” Sam told him.
Steve slowly approached the cat and straight away Frank hissed, his hair standing on end, making a screaming yowling sound.
“Don’t mess with Captain Kittymurica’s Shield.” Sam wheezed, bent over laughing.
“Where’s Bucky? He can use the metal arm.” Steve asked, stomping away.
He heard voices in the kitchen and headed in that direction, Sam trailing behind him.
“The trick young man is to always add smaller pinches. You can add more but you can’t take it away.” West instructed kindly.
“I understand, I build up the ingredients over time rather than add them all at once.” Vision affirmed.
“Precisely.” West confirmed, beaming proudly as Vision added a small pinch of herbs to the bubbling pot on the stove.
“What’s going on?” Steve asked.
“Ah, Captain Rogers. Your team mates here are allowing me to assist them in cooking for you all.” West explained.
“We’re making soup and homemade bread.” Wanda said as she kneaded dough on the countertop.
“Mr West is quite an accomplished chef, I have already learned so much.” Vision added.
Steve looked absolutely lost by the turn of events.
“Wanda? A word.” He said, gesturing to the hallway.
“West, could you take over?” She asked, wiping her hands on a tea towel.
“Of course my dear.”
“Why is he not in an interview room?” Steve asked her once she joined him in the hallway.
“Natasha and I agree that he isn’t Hydra and Tony and Bruce said we could let him out to wander around the compound.” She informed him.
“And nobody though to tell me?” he asked.
“I thought you knew.” You said, shrugging apologetically.
“It’s alright, it’s not your fault. Tony should have told me.” He assured her.
“Captain Rogers, Mr Stark asked me to inform you that he’s allowed Mr West free reign of the compound.” Friday interjected and Wanda bit her tongue to stop the amused giggle.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
“You don’t look happy.” Natasha noted.
She was waiting in the underground parking lot for you.
“The board just ordered me to take a step back and distance myself from the company.” You snapped angrily as you stormed over to Natasha’s convertible.
“So not what you were expecting then?” She said drily as you hopped into the car.
“My fathers shares are divided amongst the pre-existing board members in the event that he is unable to take responsibility for the company. I don’t inherit them unless he dies.” You said, fuming.
“So what’s your plan now?”
“I played along, cried a bit and thanked them all for being so helpful and loyal. My uncle owned 10% of the shares, I got 10% when I turned 21 and I have 2% under shell corporations. I need my fathers 39% to have a majority. So I guess the plan is I kill my father?” You rattled off.
“Good plan. Think you could so it?” Natasha asked.
“Yes.”
She raised an eyebrow at you and you smirked.
“Well, actually I think I can manipulate my Uncle into doing it for me.”
Dear Trump Fans,
I keep hearing you say that Trump has done so much for America but you never elaborate on that, even when I ask you to. So, I’m asking again & my question is simple. What has he done that you think is so great? Aside from insulting people you don’t like, I just don’t see any achievements. This is what I do see:
-Trump didn't end the overseas wars like he promised. Instead, he got us involved in Syria. And he has nearly started a couple new wars with Iran & North Korea
- It seems you don't have your giant, waste-of-money wall. You have a small amount of fencing that anyone could cross should they want to. And Mexico won't EVER pay for it. Now, I’m fine with no wall but you shouldn’t be.
- Trump is trying to cut the CDC budget by almost 20% amidst a pandemic.
- Trump fired the pandemic response team last year.
- Trump is already saying he wants everyone back to work by Easter & all of the churches full on Easter- except every doctor & all his medically educated advisors are advising Trump against that. The cases of coronavirus are still increasing rapidly. Sending people back into such close proximity to one another will only inflame the problem, increasing the number of infected & dead tenfold.
-Trump has violated the emoluments clause of the constitution by failing to put his assets in a blind trust & thus is charging foreign leaders & American politicians inflated prices to stay at his hotels to win his favor & get private access to the president since he goes there all the time
- Trump is guilty of blatant nepotism. For example, he appointed Jared Kushner to negotiate peace in the middle east, handle diplomacy with China & Mexico, address the opioid epidemic, manage the wall construction process, etc. Jared isn't qualified for any of that, he only has that job because he bones Trump's daughter. Jared wouldn’t be qualified to manage a Pizza Hut. He was born rich and has done nothing but lose billions when he landed in his father job because his father went to prison for tax evasion, witness tampering, & illegal campaign contributions.
- Trump, who claims to be tough on terrorism, signed a multi-billion dollar weapons deal with Saudi Arabia RIGHT AFTER they murdered & dismembered an American journalist. Not to mention the genocide they were waging in Yemen. There is a reason that 80% of the 9/11 terrorist were from Saudi Arabia.
- Trump has eliminated funding for programs that work to de-radicalize people in extremist groups/organizations & help them escape that life.
- Trump cut his own taxes & that of his rich buddies & corporations BY 40%. Due to all the tax loopholes & shady financial dealings (like equity swapping or offshore tax havens) which the wealthiest Americans & corporations do, they already historically weren't paying anywhere near the marginal tax rate they should be on paper. Trump cut the corporate marginal tax rate from 35% to 21%. So after the loopholes & their shady bullshit, they're very likely paying a lower effective tax rate than you are. Thanks to Trump, many paid no income taxes at all in 2018 like Amazon, Netflix, Chevron, IBM, Delta Airlines, General Motors, Whirlpool, Goodyear Tires, etc.
-Trump promised to reduce the deficit but he has actually raised it by a lot. When you decrease the amount of taxes coming in that drastically & you increase government spending that much, the deficit is going to increase. The Caronavirus situation has only exacerbated that problem but the problem was already there.
-Trump pulled out of the Iran deal, solely because Obama did it. And Mr. Art of the Deal did not even try to negotiate a new deal.
- This great healthcare Trump promised hasn't happened. Less people have insurance now than when Trump first took office. Drug prices have only gone up. There have be cuts to Medicaid as well.
-Trump appointed a judge who clearly lied to congress & whom likely sexually assaulted someone. Why Trump did not pick a different conservative judge to nominate, I will never understand.
- Trump cut all the social safety net programs that help the poor & disabled: SSI Disability, Food Stamps, Medicaid, HUD, etc.
- Like it or not, Trump was technically impeached. He just wasn’t removed from office by the Senate because there are a bunch of scared Republicans who are too scared to do or say anything against Trump. Tribalism saved him. That’s it. Because he admitted on national television that he talked about Biden & his son on that phone call- you can even see the exact moment when he realizes he shouldn’t have said that. So, he did do what he was accused of.
-His administration is a revolving door of hiring & firing/quitting. Trump said he knew the best people so why would he need to fire so many of them? Think about how many people have come & gone. These are just some of the big names who left the administration but there are WAY MORE than I am listing: Rex Tillerson, Mike Pompeo, Scott Pruitt, Steve Bannon, John Bolton, Jeff Sessions, John Kelly, Anthony Scaramucci, Reince Priebus, Sean Spicer,  Sarah Sanders, James Mattis, Rick Perry, Nikki Haley, Dan Coats, Alexander Acosta, Scott Gottlieb, Bill Shine, Tom Price,  H.R. McMaster, Ryan Zinke, Mick Mulvaney, James Comey,  Sebastian Gorka, Omarosa Newman, Gary Cohn, Don McGahn, Rod Rosenstein, Michael Flynn, Sally Yates, Tom Homan, Ty Cobb, Tom Bossert, K.T. McFarland, Rob Porter, Dina Powell, Rick Dearborn, Matthew Whittaker, Ezra Cohen-Watnick, Hope Hicks, Brenda Firtzgerald, Rob Snyder, Michael Dubke, Sean Doocey, etc.
-This is kind of a minor point but it does illustrate Trump’s hypocrisy.  Trump criticized Obama for golfing so much & then Trump turns around & plays 2.6 times more golf than Obama in his first 2 years and 91 days & has cost the tax payer an estimated $74 million more than Obama.
- Does it ever embarrass you how little Trump knows about anything? Ever notice how he never goes in depth talking about anything? Its all vague because he doesn’t know enough about healthcare or the Iran Deal or climate change to address it in any kind of depth. You still see that idiocy spill out regardles. During an interview for SiriusXM’s P.O.T.U.S. channel, Trump said that former President Andrew Jackson was angry about the Civil War. The only problem is, Jackson couldn’t have been angry about the war. He died in 1845. The Civil War was in 1861. Another example would be during a call with Canada’s prime minister, Justin Trudeau, Trump claimed Canada burned down the White House during the War of 1812. Canada didn’t exist as a country until 1867. That was the British... Trump also claimed General John J. Pershing dealt with Muslim terrorists by shooting them with bullets dipped in pig’s blood. That did not happen. The story began circulating the internet around the September 11 terrorist attacks. Apparently Trump believed it was factual, talking about it during his 2016 presidential campaign & again after a terror attack in Barcelona. Then, speaking to the conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt, Trump confused the Quds Force, a unit of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, with the Kurds, the minority group battling ISIS in northern Iraq (who he would later abandoned). Maybe that confusion could be forgiven for an average Joe but if you’ president, you need to know stuff like that (especially given the region these two groups are in). Hence why most presidents study political science, law, or economics in college or at least, they bother to read up on this stuff. But Trump doesn’t really read. The only book he claims to have read was a biography about Andrew Jackson whom, he thought was mad about a war that happened 16 years after his death & he also seems to have missed the whole Trail of Tears thing.
-  By pulling out of the Iran Nuclear Deal & the Paris Climate Accord, Trump has isolated us from our allies. Our word means nothing anymore. And who can blame them for being pissed? Whether Iran has a nuclear weapon effect more than just us. Given the size of our nation, our refusal to take the looming threat of climate change seriously is a detriment to the entire world that can & likely will have devastating consequences for everyone. Furthermore, Trump trash talks our closest allies & has placed tariffs on nearly all of them. For example:
AUSTRALIA: Shortly after taking office, Trump reportedly berated then-Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull over an agreement between the U.S. and Australia involving refugee resettlement.
CANADA: Trump also attacked Canadian President Justin Trudeau as “meek, mild, dishonest, & weak” during a conversation on trade at the G7 summit in 2018. He also threatened to withhold the U.S.’s signature from a joint communique from the meeting over the feud. Trudeau he also found it “insulting” that tariffs were placed on Canada under a rarely invoked law that allows levies to be placed on a country in the interest of national security. Since when is Canada a national security threat?
DENMARK: Trump also went after Denmark’s Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen after she refused to sell him Greenland. She called the idea “absurd,” & Trump referred to her as “nasty & inappropriate.” The people that live there don’t want to become American. You can’t just buy a country on whim. Greenland belongs to Denmark but its semi-autonomous.
FRANCE: Trump threatened to slap tariffs on French wine & called French President Emmanuel Macron “foolish” after he signed a digital services tax on tech companies making at least 750 MILLION EUROS annually, a figure which meant U.S.-based tech giants like Apple, Google, Facebook & Amazon would be included.
GERMANY: Trump has had a particularly tumultuous relationship with German Chancellor Angela Merkel. The president has repeatedly threatened Germany with auto tariffs, saying if companies like BMW and Mercedes wanted to sell cars in the U.S., they should build them in the country. German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Friday criticized President Donald Trump's tweets about four Democratic congresswomen of color telling them to go back to where they came from. She said that the president's tweets contradict "the strength of America." "I distance myself firmly from this & feel solidarity with the women who were attacked," Merkel said. (Canada’s prime minister, Justin Trudeau also criticized Trump for the same thing).
JAPAN: Trump has lamented the U.S.’s responsibility to defend Japan if attacked, saying the alliance between Washington & Tokyo is uneven. Trump has also threatened Japan with auto tariffs, though it announced in May it was delaying any levies for six months.
MEXICO: President Trump has repeatedly torn into Mexico, slamming it on trade but focusing much of his ire on the country over immigration. Trump has threatened America’s southern neighbor with tariffs over its alleged inaction in working to stem the flow of undocumented migrants in the U.S. And let’s face it, he doesn’t exactly talk about the Mexican people in the nicest way and stroked racial tensions.
SWEDEN: President Trump feuded with Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven after American rapper A$AP Rocky was detained in Sweden & charged with assault following a June incident in Stockholm. Apparently Kanye West told Trump about it. 🙄 The rapper was ultimately released in & returned to the U.S AFTER he was convicted & had to pay a fine (plus time served).
UNITED KINGDOM: While Trump has bashed the United Kingdom over trade practices, threatening tariffs on one of the U.S.’s closest allies to rectify what he sees as an imbalance, he has directed much of his criticism toward the country’s handling of Brexit. He also attacked the UK's National Health Service, claiming it is "going broke & not working." That’s not true but its not really his business either way. Trump is so disliked in the UK that at one point, 75,000 protestors gathered in central London’s Trafalgar Square to protest U.S. President Trump’s visit to the U.K
SOUTH KOREA: The Trump administration is reportedly demanding South Korea pay 400% more for U.S. troops in the region- despite the fact that having a base in South Korea is essential as much for us as it is for them. We need a base near North Korea should we ever have to attack. Maybe raising it some is reasonable but raising anything 400% overnight is a little absurd.
I see failure & corruption in Trump. I see a danger to America. Feel free to try to change my mind.
Joaquin Phoenix’s “Joker” scored a record $13.3 million on Thursday night in North America. [...] The Joaquin Phoenix-starrer is now looking at a possible offshore weekend bow of $110M+. If that holds, along with domestic expectations, it is also looking at a $200M+ global opening, and further has a shot at overtaking Venom‘s 2018 record October global debut.  [...] Weeks of speculation as to ‘Joker’s’ opening weekend performance and its status as one of the most talked about movies of the year have made the acclaimed (and controversial) film a must-see cinematic event,” Comscore senior media analyst Paul Dergarabedian said.
Feel like Rambling Instead of Doing My Chorin’ Dept.: I have zero interest in this Joker movie since I prefer cinema and/or low-grade Japanese pornography (which in my estimation is cinema in the Scorsese of sense of the word because you learn a lot about psychology, the punishing psychology of sempais).  I have zero interest in like adult super-clown movies or whatever the fuck’s going on here-- and I don’t want to understand the psychology of someone who doesn’t have enough sex, I’m just too afraid that letting those kind of thoughts into my head might make me slightly less excellent at intercourse and the world would be robbed forever (Ladies).  And add in even a remote chance of some shiny chrome War Boy blowing away my theater...?  Imma pass.  The only Batman villain I’m risking death for is Egghead...
But boy, watching people talk about and around this movie-- what a giant pile of yikes, which has ended exactly how all moral panics about art invariably end, with a giant pile of cash changing hands.  And only “We want to generate TV ratings from normal people who hate arty shit we usually reward”-style award nominations no doubt await (aka the Black Panther slot).
What a stupid time to be alive... Its always been a stupid time to be alive because we’re not a really brilliant species, but I mean... moral panics over super-clown movies which are poised to make hundreds of millions of dollars where the moral panic isn’t just “oh my god it’s a billboard you can see from outer space about how we stopped funding our education system”... Boy...
I mean, I don’t think everyone was in bad faith, necessarily-- like if I were a lady who had to worry about incels coming and blowing away my yoga class or whatever, everytime I’m downward-facing my dogs, I’d probably be kinda not super-hot for a Joker movie either, like the world needs one more thing zooming-up the limp-dicks of this world. Or I mean, just generally, on the one hand, you want to talk about the world, right, because you live there or whatever?  But on the other hand, it’s that thing you learn if you write about comics, especially-- being the guy talking about the thing just helps the thing, no matter what you say about it. I don’t know-- I never figured out how to square that circle.  Like, I don’t know that I’m the audience for a lot of the moral panic, but it’s not like it was unreasonable for people to be like “can’t we just not”...
It just fucking got pretty wild in the last few days though-- because it got sucked into a second entirely different jetstream.  You had the “Art is the exact same thing as an instruction manual for stupid people” elitism that kinda kicked off by that awful Mother Jones editor, or people who just want to childproof the entire world because they desperately think that’s a necessary response to living in a horror world (which I don’t think I sign up for but I can see my “we are all damned anyway and deserve to die” position not winning a lot of adherents)... but then thanks to the weird-ass marketing strategy (positioning Joker explicitly as a weapon in the Great American Culture War...?  That’s how they sold Lady Ghostbusters, “come see this movie to send a message”, but it was just weird seeing a Reverse-Ghostbust)... it got sucked into the constant thriving secondary hum on the internet of unfunny people who are super-online and who have a constant axe to grind about comedy, because they don’t get jokes, don’t understand why people laugh at them or anything, and they’re narcissists who think we’re all actually laughing at them when we laugh at jokes because they’re so fucking insecure about their outsized-perception of themselves especially as victims?
At some point it just wound its way where a lot of people going “The Hangover wasn’t funny to begin with, even though it was one of the highest grossing R-Rated comedies ever made, because we’re all evolved now”-- arguing that movie’s half-billion dollars of revenue generated all magically rendered meaningless cause the director said some stupid-ass jackass shit...?  Yeah, good luck with that.  “Did you know the Hangover had Mike Tyson in it???  The internet’s going to win this fight against one of the biggest comedy hits of my lifetime, ten years later-- how dare people have laughed, according to me, someone who sounds totally normal and cool and fun to be around?  I’m going to buy two tickets to the next movie by the Thor guy-- he’s making anti-hate satires-- why can’t you all be like a guy who makes fucking Thor movies?”  Maybe I’m wrong, I’m on the side I’m on, but I just don’t think the internet’s going to win this nonstop war against jokes, no matter how many anti-hate satires the Thor guy’s got in him!  (Anti-hate satire... go fuck yourself...)
And then the other side of things you had people who are like “nothing ever matters wheeee” where you just have to ignore, like, just the completely stupid world we’re stuck in full of absolute shitheads who obviously have us all surrounded and just are nontop dripping abject fucking brain-deadening bullshit into their ear, day after day, like Chinese Water Torture that these cretins are lining up to take part in, just salivating for to help make the world that much dumber and shittier, happy New York Comicon everybody!  We really need Joker when there are 10 hour Youtube videos of guys complaining about a lady working the counter at Wendy’s who turned down their extra-large bottle of perfume they bought her or I don’t even know what the fuck’s going on with Youtube, nevermind games-- we really needed to make that avalanche of stupid any scarier or stupider..?  I mean, “shit in, shit out” seems kinda like a reasonable proposition to me.  You can’t feed people shit all day and then be like “why does this place smell?”  It’s all the shit!  I call it my Carl’s Jr. theory of human civilization.
But I mean, you look at the massive loneliness in the world, and even a cursory examination of what’s happening with men in this country statistically, at the same time as all kinds of people are getting stepped onby economic pressures and then you layer on climate change on top of everything else which kinda has to put some kinda dampener on human optimism generally, even if crazy people want to pretend it’s not happening... And then you’re going to tell people not to want entertainment that goes to a dark place, or that the movie they should see instead is Ad Astra (which was just Star Wars for men who hate their penises)??? “You should spend more time contemplating how being a man is bad, like Brad Pitt in Ad Astra.”  A lot of people online (and not just Republicans) just seem angry and isolated and disconnected and sad, and I just don’t think “what if we tried to not have art or entertainment that speaks to that and instead gave them a DVD of Booksmart instead” is just even remotely realistic, or even worth contemplating, from a how-people-function standpoint.  People who get upset about art being a valve, like ... I don’t understand how they comprehend the history of art in the 20th century, let alone modern day stuff...
Is there going to be a violent cost to it?  I don’t know-- you go look at Falling Down’s wikipedia page and they mention a guy who shot up some folks whose favorite movie was Falling Down.  But... I think there’s a gap between knowing that and then judging Falling Down for it, or that being a relevant data point when talking about Falling Down, that I don’t go over that gap and other people do.  Maybe it’s my age or my own selfishness, I don’t know...
I don’t know.  As usual, maybe I don’t know what I think.  Anyways, it’s at least nice that it’s finally out and we just have to wait and see what the next bullshit-ass bullshit that causes some moral panic is going to be.  There was cancelling Stephen Colbert because a hashtag inventor told people he hated Asians or some shit.  There was people saying Isle of Dogs hated the Japanese.  Bruce Lee’s daughter yelling at Once Upon a Time in Hollywood -- that was cute, I guess; I guess Bruce Lee’s no longer a public figure who we can comment on and re-purpose as artists have been doing since Warhol or before, because Bruce Lee came in his wife one time, good to know.  I can’t remember all the panics with stand-up comedians, all that stuff, whoof.  There was that time people got angry cause a guy on Youtube didn’t want to see the Lady Ghostbuster movie-- that’s not even an exaggeration there was like one youtube guy everyone got mad at.  I don’t know.  We’ve reached evil super-clowns.  I don’t know how much stupider things can get, only that they will get infinitely, infinitely, infinitey stupider until the sun melts us because we’re definitely not surviving climate change, this isn’t a species built to last...
Anyways, felt like rambling.
The crusade to cancel my talk at Toronto Public Library
Meghan Murphy
October 18, 2019
This week, three Canadian writers launched a petition demanding the Toronto Public Library cancel a room rental for a sold-out event, ‘Gender Identity: What Does It Mean for Society, the Law, and Women?’ Sounds frightening, I know.
The local women organizing the event, a group called Radical Feminists Unite, asked me in June if they could bring me to Toronto to speak about gender identity legislation and women’s rights, unhappy that the debate was not being given space in their city. This is not an uncommon sentiment. The events I have been asked to participate in generally have been organized by regular women who have serious concerns about how gender identity ideology and policy could affect, and already is affecting, women’s sex-based rights. Canada in particular has been resistant to this discussion. Due to media blackouts, harassment, bullying, threats of violence, smear campaigns, censorship, and ostracization, a few brave women have had to force the conversation, at great risk.
In January, a couple women took it upon themselves to organize an event in Vancouver, ‘Gender Identity Ideology and Women’s Rights.’ These women had no budget, no public or political power, no history in activism or organizing events, and no agenda, other than to open up a conversation they feel is desperately needed. The panel, held at the Vancouver Public Library, featured me and two other longtime feminist activists with impeccable records fighting male violence against women. The organizers and I received numerous death and rape threats, were protested, and were libeled by politicians and the media. The VPL forced us to move the event after hours (to 9:30 p.m. on a weeknight), claiming that protesters posed a risk to patrons and staff. They attempted to charge us thousands in security fees in an effort to pressure us to choose another venue, surely aware we didn’t have that kind of budget. The chief librarian, Christina de Castell, issued a statement saying the library did not agree with ‘the views of Feminist Current,’ my website. Castell did not say which views the library disagreed with (protecting women’s sex-based rights or the idea that sexist gender stereotypes are not innate?), but regardless, she should not have taken a position, as a representative of a public institution meant to be neutral, nor should she have spoken on behalf of the VPL, as not everyone at the library is in agreement with her apparent opposition to both biology and women’s rights. Vancouver’s mayor labeled me ‘despicable’. Canada’s national public broadcaster, the CBC, located across the street from the library, refused to cover the event or contact me for comment, despite hosting a panel prior to the event, speculating whether panelists might say anything constituting ‘hate speech’. Of course none did. Despite protests, the event went off without a hitch and was incredibly respectful, inspiring, and galvanizing. The impassioned talks are available on YouTube for anyone to watch and see for themselves.
But why bother? Listening to words and forming an educated opinion based on said words is no longer a popular pastime.
Things have played out similarly in Toronto. The primary difference is that it is now writers leading the charge. You know, people who should be invested in reading and using words correctly.
Not only that, but writers of all people should be defending freedom of expression and a public library’s decision to uphold its mandate, which, per the TPL’s response to the petition, is to ensure meeting rooms are available to the public ‘on an equitable basis, regardless of the beliefs or affiliations of individuals or groups requesting their use’. The statement goes on to say: ‘As a public institution, our primary obligation is to uphold the fundamental freedoms of freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression as enshrined in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.’
This response was unacceptable to the writers and thousands of Torontonians (many of whom I’m certain would consider themselves ‘progressive,’ even ‘feminist’) wanting my talk canceled. Indeed, those who have signed the petition, ‘Stop Hate Speech from Being Spread at the Toronto Public Library,’ have publicly stated I am guilty of ‘hate speech’ and compared the organizers to a ‘hate group’. The petition, authored by Alicia Elliot, Catherine Hernandez, and Carrianne Leung, reads:
‘Those who want to disseminate hate speech today know that they can misrepresent, then weaponize the phrase ‘freedom of speech’ in order to get what they want: an audience, and space to speak to and then mobilize that audience against marginalized communities. While everyone has freedom of speech, we want to once again point to the limits of those freedoms when certain acts and speech infringe on the freedom of others, particularly those in marginalized communities. We also want to point out that hate groups do not have a right to use publicly funded facilities to meet and organize. This is precisely why TPL has a community and event space policy: to determine who and who does not have the right to use its facilities. There is a difference between denying free speech—and what is known as deplatforming, which is when you refuse to allow hate speech to be disseminated in your facility. This has been an effective tactic to stop those who capitalize on spreading hate speech, such as Meghan Murphy.’
The problem is I’ve never engaged in hate speech. I have made very basic statements about biology, such as ‘men aren’t women’ and ‘male bodies and female bodies are different.’ I have also argued that some spaces should be women-only, including changing rooms, transition houses, and prisons. I have said that individuals cannot change sex through self-declaration and that a boy is not a girl because he prefers dresses to pants. I have said that women have particular rights in this world due to the fact of being born female. I have said that women have not experienced discrimination in the workplace, in the home, in universities, and in politics because of anything they feel or because they somehow ‘identify’ with feminine stereotypes. In fact, it is the desire not to be limited to gender roles that inspired feminists’ ongoing fight.
Usually, I say this all warmly. I’m not generally an angry person but quite jovial, in fact. I don’t spend much of my energy hating anyone beyond slow walkers and morning people. I’m just telling the truth.
The writers who initiated the petition say they will no longer participate in events held at the TPL unless the library cancels my talk, which is fine, I suppose. It is their prerogative if they wish to hold readings for their friends in spaces untainted by free thought. Surely the condos their parents bought them have shared rec rooms available for such gatherings? Cozy bubbles seem better suited for those needing to protect themselves from triggers such as people with different opinions and experiences, anyway.
The whole scene strikes me as nauseatingly elitist, especially the entitlement with which these ‘progressive’ people approach members of the public — in this case, women with no particular social, political, or economic power — as though they should have the power to determine what we all think or say. As though they have the right to dictate what a library, of all places, should allow to be discussed within its walls.
These protesters are primarily middle- and upper-class people who have had access to opportunities most people in this world have not. Who live in relative safety, free from state persecution — who have the privilege of freedom in a world that continues to host dictatorships and incredibly repressive regimes that quite literally jail and murder those who fail to toe the party line. They have taken a postmodernist theory invented primarily within the walls of academia — that is, the notion that material reality is determined by inner feelings — and are attempting to impose it on the general public via force. These people have taken on the position of dictator, threatening to throw those who won’t adopt their nonsensical mantras in jail. Indeed, a former politician with the NDP, Canada’s leftist party, publicly claimed the event was ‘illegal’ while her supporters said I should be jailed.
On Thursday, Toronto mayor John Tory said he had contacted the library in an attempt to have the event canceled and is ‘disappointed’ the library declined to do so. What is in fact ‘disappointing’ (indeed, appalling) is that the mayor of Toronto does not understand the TPL’s mandate as a public institution and opposes freedom of expression.
These leftists seem unaware that opposition to free speech has not treated their presumed heroes kindly. They have so easily forgotten Emma Goldman, who was imprisoned for distributing information about birth control. And Rosa Luxemburg, arrested and killed by the GKSD, a German paramilitary unit instructed to suppress the communists. Surely the suffragettes deserved to be jailed and beaten for fighting to win women the right to vote, as their ideas were deemed too ‘radical’, not only by their opponents but other feminists and abolitionists. They have apparently not paid much attention to the female activists arrested and tortured in Saudi Arabia for advocating that women be allowed to drive. Journalists continue to be murdered in Mexico for reporting on police corruption and the drug war. But no matter. Protecting free expression is clearly a relic of the past, before we had multi-billion-dollar social media companies on hand to police dangerous speech. (‘On top of that, she has been banned from Twitter for violating their Hateful Conduct Policy’, the petition reads, as though In Big Tech We Trust is an appropriate mantra for supposed social justice advocates.)
At what point in history has suppressing subversive speech benefited the marginalized? Or anyone, really?
The CBC again failed to include the organizers or myself, the speaker, in its ‘coverage’ of the event. On a segment that aired Wednesday, Gill Deacon, host of Here and Now Toronto, spoke with Elliot, who stated that I was ‘trying to take away the rights of people’, ‘preach[ing] against human rights’, and did not believe ‘transwomen should have protections’ under the Human Rights Act or Criminal Code, claiming this constituted ‘spreading hate’. That none of this is accurate was of no concern to Deacon or Elliot. The CBC sees no need to allow me to speak for myself and explain my apprehensions because, I assume, my arguments are so reasonable people might agree with me. While Elliot claimed that I was ‘lying’ when arguing that gender identity legislation could override women’s rights, this has, unfortunately, already happened, as we’ve seen men transferred to women’s prisons, where they have assaulted female prisoners; women forced to leave shelters and transition houses on account of being made to share rooms with men; women and girls made to compete with and against males in sport; women’s organizations denied funding for having a women-only policy; and of course as we’ve seen a number of estheticians dragged to the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal for declining to wax a man’s balls, because that man claimed to be female. What Elliot says there is no evidence for, there is ample evidence for. Which of course she would know, had she ever read my work, listened to my talks, or engaged in conversation with me, rather than using her platform to spout bigoted nonsense.
Ironically, if not for free speech, these individuals would not feel so safe to libel those they don’t like — which appears to be the go-to strategy of the Woke and Online. One wonders why they believe their speech should protected — even when hateful or slanderous — but not the speech of others. It is a modern hypocrisy I will never understand.
Unfortunately for these protesters and petitioners, the TPL will not be canceling the event, and I will continue to speak the truth in the face of threats, slander, harassment, ostracization, and actual hate speech. I will do this not because I have anything personally to gain from doing so but because I could not live with myself otherwise. I will not be silent while women’s rights are eroded, and I will not lie either under duress or to make friends. My integrity is worth more to me than my comfort or popularity, and yours should be too.
Don’t let the title fool you.
————————————————–
Axel was sitting on a chair in the examination room in his house, wearing only his pants and his boots. The same chair he sat every evening for the last thousand evenings. Elisabet was standing in front of him looking at the damage on his face from this days fight. His nose was broken, again. She grabbed his head with one hand and his nose with the other.
"Ouch! That hurts!" Axel said with an expression of pain on his face and a smile in his eyes.
"That joke’s getting old." Elisabet said examining the damage.
Axel laughed and blood started gushing out of his nose. He laughed even harder seeing the annoyed look on Elisabets face.
"Stop laughing. You are getting blood all over me. Stay still and let me do my job." Elisabet pulled his nose and snapped it into place. "Better? Can you breathe?" She asked him.
Axel took a few deep breaths and said. "Yea. It's better. I can breathe."
Elisabet took some cotton wool and put it up into his nostrils. "Put some pressure on the top of your nose and let this soak up the blood."
Axel watched Elisabet wash the blood off her hands. He saw that she turned her head towards Axel and that she was looking at his torso, at all of his old scars, all of the new bruises and cuts from todays fight. By the look on her face, he knew this night was one of those sleepless nights, fixing the mess from the fight. He should have brought more ammo.
"Where did they hit you and with what?" Elisabet asked.
Axel scratched his head thinking. "Let me see. There was a guy with a bat. He hit me in the ribs once, the second time I stopped him with my arm. One of them hit me in the face, hence the nose, and I think he hit me in the jaw. One came behind me, while I was beating the shit out of the guy with the bat, and hit me on the head. I don't know what it was. The rest was just a normal fist fighting."
Elisabet sighted. "How many times did I tell you to avoid hits to the head?" She looked at him with disappointment on her face.
"What do you want me to do Elisabet? There were a few dozen of them and they had guns. I used up all of my ammo and grenades. After there were still a few of them alive. Should I have gone over to them and said: I just killed a bunch of your friends back there and I ran out of ammo so I'll have to beat you to death. Please don't hit me on the head while I'm beating you to death? That's not how it works Elisabet." Axel said with an annoyed voice removing the cotton wool from his nose.
"I'm not saying that. I'm just saying that you should be more careful." Elisabet said walking towards him. "I'm doing my best to keep you in one piece. Since you have been wearing the Dragon armor, your injuries went down by eighty percent. So why don't you want the Dragon armor for your head? Head injuries are the most dangerous."
Axel put his head into his palm. "We talked about this. The Dragon armor limits my peripheral vision and my hearing. That's not a good thing in a fight. The shield on my arm is enough protection for my head from bullets and weapons for now." Axel looked up at her. For him, the talk about the Dragon armor for his head was over.
"Yeah… Yeah… I'm not going to pick that hornet's nest again. Come with me. Let me scan you to see if there are any serious injuries from the fight." Elisabet opened the 3D medical scanning bed and Axel laid down on his back on the bed. Elisabet started the scan and an arm over the bed began to scan Axel’s body. After the scan finished Axel got up and a 3D scan of his body appeared hovering over the bed.
"Let’s see the organs first." Elisabet used the tablet in her hand and the 3D image displayed Axel’s organs. "Good. No internal bleeding. No damage to the brain. Looks like my formula for stronger bones is working. Let's see the bones." She used the tablet again and the 3D image showed Axel's bones with four red arias pulsating. "You have two cracked ribs, not broken, just cracked, a crack in a bone in your hand and a broken tooth. I can fix the tooth. For the ribs and arm, I'll give you my new formula for healing. This time you don't have any broken knuckles, that's an improvement and no injuries on your feet. The new boots are working."
Axel looked at Elisabet. She looked like she was watching at a guinea pig she's doing her mad scientist experiments on.
They met ten years ago. He was looking for a specific type of person, a doctor interested in research to make a human body more durable, his bones stronger and thicker, his wounds heal quicker and his reflexes faster. Using his connections, he found about Elisabet. She was a doctor but she didn't want to work at a hospital, she wanted to do her own research. She believed there was a way to make the human body more durable, resistant to disease, stronger an even prolong the human lifespan. The only problem was that she was in debt and couldn't find funding for her research, research that he was interested in.
He approached her and told her that he'll pay off her debt and will fund her research with a few conditions. That she lives in his house, only works for him as a doctor, does her research at his house and doesn't talk about him or the things he does to anyone. She was suspicious at first but she agreed and for the last ten years, she was working for him. Axel transformed a part of his house into a laboratory for her research and a part into a hospital like examination and operation rooms with the best equipment.
“Let’s see the rest...” Elisabet used the tablet in her hand again and the 3D image displayed Axel veins, the ruptured veins where the bruises were, muscles and tendons. “No stretched muscles, no broken tendons, but a lot of ruptured veins. The formula for strengthening the muscle tissue is working but the one for veins isn’t. Hmm… The bruise around the cracked ribs is from the bat, that's to be expected. But the other bruises are they also from the bat?”
“No, I killed the bastard with the bat first. The other three guys didn’t have weapons. They just hit me with their hands, elbows, knees and feet. It was a standard fight.” Axel said trying to remember if he missed something. “Maybe it’s from when I hit the floor or from them pushing me against the wall.”  He said.
“I’m still working on improving the formula for the cardiovascular system. I think I know how to make it work better.” Axel had a feeling Elisabet was talking more to herself than to him. “Go sit in the chair so I can stitch your wounds and take these pills for the healing.”
Axel wasn’t in the mood to argue so he took the pills and sat down in the chair. As Elisabet was stitching his wounds his mind was somewhere far away. He looked through the door of the examination room towards the main hall of the house. On the wall was a painting of his mother and father. This was the only painting in the whole house. The painting was old, the oil started to dry crack, but he still kept it hanging on the wall. This was not like him, he wasn’t a sentimental person, but his mother died of cancer shortly after he was born and this painting was the only thing that portrayed his mother holding him in her arms smiling. He tore down and put in storage all the other paintings and pictures that depicted his father after he found out what his father had done.
After his father was killed, Axel, as the sole heir, inherited all the family fortune and the family business. He never questioned his father's way of doing business and investing money, he concentrated on his own passion, technology and space travel. Space always fascinated him and he vowed that one day he would travel there. When he took over his father’s role, he took over his business. At first glance, it looked like his father was involved in the import and export business around the world. Shipping cars, clothes, coffee, tea and other miscellaneous goods from South America, Mexico, Russia, Ukraine, China and the Middle East, but something didn’t seem right. The amount of money he received for those kind of shipments was too much. Goods like that weren't worth that much on the market these days. When he dug deeper, he found out the ugly truth. His father was in the import and export business, but the illegal kind, he was in the import and export business of drugs, weapons and human trafficking and that’s how he made billions of dollars.
Axel didn't know what to do. He had to do something, he had to stop doing business with the people his father was involved with. He stopped and sold all the ships his father was using for his import and export business and decided to buy shares of companies engaged in technology, software, space exploration, medicine, medical research and charity. This way, supporting these companies and giving money to charities he could do something good for all of humanity and at least undo some of the damage his father did. He didn’t think that the people that his father did business with would come knocking on his door threatening him to continue doing business with them as his father did. The first time this happened Axel came home and heard noises coming from upstairs. He followed the noise and saw a bunch of shady people in his father's office. They grabbed him, sat him down in his father's chair and threatened him that if he doesn’t continue working for their boss their next visit won't be so gentle. One of the lackeys punched him in the gut as a warning and they left.
After that first incident, Axel started getting more and more threats. One drug lord sent his lackeys after him, and they beat him up so badly that he went to the emergency room. He didn’t go to the emergency room because he was in pain, he went because after seeing the damage they did he was worried that they may have caused serious injuries to his internal organs, brain or bones. He didn’t know if he was injured because he couldn’t feel pain, he was born with a rare genetic disorder, the Riley-Day Syndrome that left him insensitive to pain. Though a painless life sounds great in theory, it doesn’t work so well in practice. Pain is actually your friend. It sends signals to your brain to let you know when something needs fixing or when your bones are broken or your organs damaged. In the emergency room, they asked him what happened and he said a car hit him. He had several broken ribs, a broken forearm, broken leg, cracked skull, internal bleeding, broken knuckles and a few broken fingers. Everyone at the emergency room looked at him bewildered at how the man even walked with injuries as severe as that.
After he healed he started thinking about his options. One option was to continue to wait for the men, his father was in business with, to come after him again and defend himself. He had an advantage, he didn’t feel pain, he was rich and could technically buy an army of guards. However, he knew that drug cartels, illegal arms dealers, and human traffickers had a sea of armies and lackeys of their own and that at one point no matter how many people he hired to protect him there will always be more of the other guys. The other option was to stop these men from threatening him ever again. Not just to go after the heads, the drug lords, the heads of the illegal arms trade and human trafficking, because if you cut off a hydra's head, another one will just take its place. You have to start by cutting the hydra’s feet off and work your way up until you cut off all the pieces. He had his father's business book, he knew the names of the people he was dealing with, he just had to dig deeper and find out the rest of the people that were involved.
He made a plan. For a year, he took weapons and military training from an ex-special forces marine. He hired a private army for his home security, that kept the thugs away from him, and he found Elisabet. She was the final piece of the puzzle. Her research made his bones stronger and denser, his muscles more durable, and his reflexes faster. The ex-special forces marine gave him the idea to make Dragon armor. Dragon armor was a bullet-proof armor, cowering his whole body, with discs overlapping like scale armor, it was lightweight and flexible, composed of high tensile strength ceramic discs encased in a fiberglass textile, which meant that in a fight he didn’t have to worry about being easily injured like before. Dragon armor, enhanced body and the inability to feel pain gave him the advantage he needed to make things right. He used his money to bribe people and gather information and names of all the people involved in the illegal business and he made a list of targets.
As the years went by the list got shorter and shorter and his body was covered in more and more scars.
“I’m done.” Elisabet said. “You are free to go but take a day or two off so the ribs and the arm can heal.” She threw away the blood-covered gauze and put bandages over the freshly stitched wounds.
“Yes mom.” Axel said looking at her with a sneer.
Elisabet threw a box of rubber gloves at him. “Told you not to call me that!”
He left the room laughing. Leaving Elisabet to her research.
  ----------------
  The next few days,Axel should have spent resting and healing,he spent working out. He didn’t feel any pain and thought it a waste of time just to sit around doing nothing, and planning how to get the right hand and his lackeys of one of the cartel bosses. This one was a challenge. He always had a group of heavily armed bodyguards with him, courtesy of his brother the cartel boss, and a dozen of lackeys at every location he visited. ‘There has to be a way to get him, his bodyguards and all of his lackeys at one location at the same time.’ The problem was that the lackeys were the distributors of the drugs and each location cowered one part of the city, the right hand was the one that brought the drugs to them, as far as Axel knew there was never a time all of them gathered at the same place. Hitting every location separately was not an option, word about an attack would spread out to fast and they would just send more men after him.
Axel already crippled this cartel boss' organization, he killed around a hundred of his men, including his left hand, his youngest brother. Axel watched the funeral from afar and now that gave him an idea. He researched if the cartel boss had any parents or grandparents alive. A funeral of a family member of a cartel boss would mean that most of the cartel members would be at the same location at the same time. If you have money you have unlimited resources and unlimited access to information. Axel called his informant in the DEA department and asked him to look up if the cartel boss had any living family except his younger brother, the right hand. As it turned out, he did. The cartel boss has an older sister that is currently in jail, for laundering money and selling drugs, and will be released in two weeks. That was all the information he needed. Seems like the whole family was in the drug business.
A plan formed in his head…
For two weeks, Axel watched the locations the right hand visited and counted the number of his lackeys. He also went to the cartel boss' house and counted the bodyguards and the lackeys. One night he entered the cartel bosses office and took photos of a notebook on his desk. The text in the notebook was written in code, but an easy one. A lot of the text was crossed out, but some of it was newly written. At home, he decoded the text. It contained names and locations. Almost all of the names where on his list, only four were new but the location, next to the names, wasn't. The crossed out names were the names of those he killed, there were only sixty names not crossed out. His sister’s name wasn’t in the notebook but that doesn’t mean she wasn’t involved in the family business. Two more days and she will be released from jail.
The day came. Axel was sitting in his car across the street watching the cartel boss pick up his sister from the jail. As they drove away, Axel followed, keeping his distance, he knew the way to the cartel boss' house, where they were probably going. He followed them just in case they didn’t go to the house but went off somewhere else. Axel was right, they drove straight to the house. He couldn’t get to her in there, he would have to wait for her to leave the house and find an opportunity to kill her and make it look like an accident so they don’t suspect foul play.
For the next few days, Axel practically camped on the roof of the building across the street of the house, waiting for the sister to get out. After four days, he saw her leaving with two bodyguards. ‘That's not going to be a problem. I’ve dealt with worse situations.’ This was his opportunity and he wasn’t going to miss it. Whenever Axel left the house he always took his gun, silencer, rope, zip ties, injection kit with injections to make someone fall asleep, paralyzed, and an injection of adrenalin if somebody tries to mess with him.
Axel quickly ran down the stairs and out of the building on the street. He saw a truck on the road waiting for the light to turn green. He ran towards the truck, opened the passenger door and used the sleep injection on the driver. The truck driver fell asleep, he took over and started to drive in the direction the sister of the cartel boss was going. He accelerated and, at the last moment, turned the wheel towards the sister and the bodyguards so they didn’t have enough time to get out of the way. At the last second, he opened the driver's door and jumped out.
Later, at home, Axel watched the news report saying that the truck driver fell asleep at the wheel and killed three people, a young woman and two men. Axel was sitting on the couch, smiling from ear to ear, so concentrated at the news report he didn't notice Elisabet standing beside the couch, watching him.
“Did you have something to do with that?” She asked him with a disapproving look on her face.
Axel turned his head towards her, still smiling “At least this time I didn’t get hit on the head.”
“I can’t believe you. You’re planning something again, aren’t you? You just killed three people.” Elisabet shrugged her shoulders “When are you going to stop?”
“When they stop trying to kill me! And I’m going to need at least ten sleeping injections.” Axel said.
“When I finish my research and perfect the formulas, then nothing will be able to kill you. Not even me when you’re behaving like this. If you need supplies you know where to find me.” Elisabet said with a hint of annoyance in her voice and went to the lab.
Axel remembered the day he killed someone for the first time. It was one of the other cartel’s members, not this one, he almost threw up after he killed for the first time. He felt sick for a week, panicked that the police would come for him, and arrest him for murder, but nothing happened. No one came to avenge the death of the one he killed and no police came to arrest him. After that, with every new kill, killing came easier to him. Obviously, humans can get used to anything, even killing.
‘The investigation should take a few days, then the funeral arrangements another couple of days. They will hold the wake at the cartel boss' house but they won’t leave it empty. They will leave a few guards at the house and probably one person at each location.’ Axel started to finalize the plan in his head. Everything was falling into place.
  ----------------
  On the day of the funeral, Axel was leaning against the wall of the building across the street of the cartel boss’ house, a black bag on the floor next to his feet, waiting for them to leave for the funeral. Almost all of the cartel members were present. Not including the two dead bodyguards, there were six members missing, they were probably at the locations. The cartel members got into their cars and left for the funeral, they left eight guards and a few staff members behind to guard the house and prepare everything for the wake after the funeral.
Axel knew the house like the back of his hand. He sneaked in and while avoiding the guards placed the C4 and weapons in places no one would look for. He sneaked out unnoticed and left for the locations to kill the members six remaining members of the cartel who were left to guard them. He killed one after another as quickly as possible and returned to the house.
After taking care of the locations, he came back and saw they have not yet returned from the funeral. That was good. Axel had enough time to go back into the house and position and arm the C4 where it would do the most damage. This time he sneaked into the house with the intention to half the number of guards so it seems like everything was all right, but so that he has four less guards to worry about. Axel used his sleeping injection to put the first guard to sleep, dragged him into the bathroom, locked the door and strangled him, leaving the water in the sink running. He got out through the window and went straight towards his next target, the only guard on the second floor. Using the same injection, Axel came behind him, injected the sleeping mixture into his neck and dragged his body towards one of the rooms. He locked the door, strangled him and exited through the window. The next two guards suffered the same fate and while doing this Axel put blocks of C4 under the staircase, under the tables with the food and drinks, into the bathrooms, into the main hall, most places you would expect the people attending the wake to be.
At strategic places around the house, Axel hid weapons like guns and shotguns so if anybody survives the explosion, this time, he would have enough guns and ammo to kill them without the need to beat them to death. Axel came prepared, there was no way he could kill sixty people with his bare hands, even with his inability to feel pain and the Dragon armor. After he finished all the preparations, he hid on the second floor, in the cartel bosses office, left the window and the door ajar, crouched near the door, listened and waited for the cartel members to return.
Fifteen minutes later the cars started to enter the carpark of the house and the cartel members started to enter the house. This process took around ten minutes because of the large number of people. The longer it took, the greater the chance that someone noticed a missing guard or a planted C4 brick, but it seemed that the cartel members were too preoccupied with the funeral, alcohol and food to notice any foul play.
As soon as everyone was in the house, near the places the C4 would do the most damage when it detonated, Axel put earplugs in his ears, closed the door to the office and pressed the detonation button. The whole house shook as 30 bricks of C4 detonated on the first floor. ‘If anyone survived that I’ll shake his hand before I kill him.’ Axel thought to himself, took out the earplugs and put on a gas mask.
Still crouching near the door, he took out his two guns, stood up, opened the door and went looking for survivors. The house was a mess, the staircase was gone so he decided to search for survivors on the second floor first. He checked every room on the floor and found one woman hiding in a corner frightened. He asked what her name is. She answered. Her name was on the list so he shot her in the head. With every bathroom, room, closet, space under the bed and a possible hiding space cheeked on the second floor, he returned to the place where the staircase once was.
Axel jumped down to the first floor. There were bodies everywhere, for some, you could tell they were dead because they were missing a head or they were split in two, but for some, you couldn’t. For those who Axel couldn’t tell if they were killed by the explosion, he shot them in the head, better safe than sorry. He did the same as on the second floor. He checked every possible hiding space, including the refrigerator and freezer and all the bodies, he couldn’t determine if they were killed by the explosion, he shot in the head. He knew he didn’t have much time. The police would be here any second. While he was checking the rooms, he counted the bodies. The final count was fifty-five. With the six guarding the locations that made sixty-one, sixty from the notebook and one for the cartel boss. He collected the weapons he hid, put them in a bag, returned to the main hall, looked at the cartel boss one last time and emptied his whole gun magazine into the his face.
There were police sirens in the distance and they were getting closer fast so Axel took a grenade of off his belt and threw it into the surveillance room where all the camera footage and surveillance tapes of the house were stored. The grenade destroyed all trace of him ever being here. Axel left the house through a hidden exit the cartel boss used to smuggle stuff in and out of or to leave and return to the house so the DEA surveillance wouldn't notice. He put on clothes over the Dragon armor and went home, throwing the guns, he shot the cartel members with, into the river. ‘One more hydra down. That leaves me with four more to go.’
The past ten years he took down four drug cartels, two weapon smuggler gangs and one human trafficking ring closest to home. This was the last drug cartel his father did business with. That left two weapon smugglers, one from China, the other from the Middle East and two human trafficking rings. They were harder to get rid of because Axel had to use his contacts from here, from America and from Interpol. It was harder to get all the names of the members. If he eliminated the ones here, they would just replace them with men from Russia, China or the Middle East.
During those last ten years, he never backed out from a challenge and he wasn’t going to start now. A grin appeared on his face as he was walking home, a bag full of weapons in his hand, a plan was already starting to form in his mind...
The end
Riley-Day Syndrome, that the main character has, is also known as Familial Dysautonomia; and it’s a disorder that is genetically inherited. To actually show signs of having the condition, however, the relevant gene has to be passed on by both parents. Basically, Riley-Day syndrome affects the autonomous nervous system. While there are many extremely unpleasant symptoms, it does also have some arguably cool features. Chief among these is the fact that many people with the condition are almost entirely insensitive to pain. Of course, though a painless life sounds great in theory, it doesn’t work so well in practice. Pain is actually your friend; it sends signals to your brain to let you know when something needs fixing—so to go without it all together isn’t necessarily going to be a pleasant experience. Especially if a bunch of drug cartels, weapon smugglers and human traffickers are out to get you.
