Does God communicate His will to us?

Each of us is looking for direction or confirmation of God's leading, right?Possibly we lack the spiritual discernment to make the right decision. I want to encourage you, God can and does give divine guidance.

You can know God's will for your life. Ephesians 5:17 instructs us, "Do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is." We have the Bible, God's Word, which provides us with clear guidance in most areas of our life. Second, we usually can experience the direct guidance of the Holy Spirit. I believe that God gently guides our steps as we choose to walk with Him. I believe in divine guidance. May we be sensitive to His leading by staying close to Him and surrendering our will to Him.

It's my first Liam fic, I tend to stick to George Harrison mostly:)

When Peggy said she would send him over 'the moment he comes home', I didn't think she meant that same night.

The constant rapping against my window roused me from my sleep. I didn't immediately notice Liam's face pressed against the window. When I switched the lights on, I almost jumped out of my skin.

"The fuck are you here for?", I asked him coldly once I opened the window.

"You've finally fixed it I see", he grinned, referring to the glass pane.

Yes Liam, I wasn't going to live with a constant reminder of you was I?

"Well...", he piped after a bout of silently staring at me. "Are you gonna let me in or not?"

"Not. You can come tomorrow through the front door like a normal person. Now fuck off."

"Oi! Mind the language would ya?"

"I said fuck off."

His eyes narrowed instantly, "You want me to help with the stick tha's up your fuckin' arse?"

"No thank you, I've got Rob for that."

"Oh do you now? Last I heard, he was being a crying bitch after you broke it off with him."

"So you're keeping tabs on me now? Fucking creep."

"Takes one to know one, innit?" His annoyingly attractive smirk did nothing but grate my nerves more.

"Right, you're wasting my time Liam. I'm going to go back to - what the hell are you doing?"

"Coming in what the fuck does it look like?"

"No you are not, you're going back down the tree you -"

"Move the fuck away Harris. I'm coming in."

He hoisted himself fully onto the windowsill and sat with his feet dangling above my floor. Before I could move away, he wrapped his arms around me, pinning my elbows to my back. Then his legs encircled around mine, immobilizing my lower body.

Sitting comfortably on my windowsill, Liam practically held me hostage using his arms and legs. I gritted my teeth, defiantly refusing to meet his eyes.

"If this is your idea of a practical joke, then it's not funny."

"Why are you so bitchy tonight? Is it that time of the month or summat?"

"Just...leave me the fuck alone Liam. I don't want to talk to you, or even look at you at the moment."

"But I do. I haven't seen you since fuck knows when. I want to talk tonight. It isn't always about what you fuckin' want y'know?"

"Oh, like I have always had my way with things before. Shut up about things you don't know, Liam."

"I know a lot more about you than I let on. I'm not fuckin' silly, me"

"Oh is that so?" I asked sardonically. Honestly, I couldn't wait to hear this. "Please humor me Liam. What is it that you know about me?"

"I know you've got me a gift." He said matter-of-factly. "And tha' you asked our kid if you could deliver it to me mam's like some fuckin' postman parker because you couldn't find the fuckin' nerve to come and give it to me yourself."

What? The audacity of this man was starting to make my head boil.

"I did try to give it to you, you prick! You didn't even listen to what I had to say, you just fucked off somewhere, making me feel like a fool sitting at the bar with your brother. I wasn't going to sit there all night was I?"

"You could 'ave waited..."

"No, I've waited a lot of times for you and all you've done is gone and disappointed me over and over again. You either get piss drunk or piss high and I end up looking like a fool. I expected fuck all from you tonight as well."

"Then let me make it up to you."

"The only way you can do that is if you jump out of this window right now and leave me the fuck alone."

"Tempting. I always wanted to fly, me. But y'know summat Harris -"

He leaned dangerously close to my face, causing my face to flush. His smirk widened momentarily and the next words came out in a murmur.

"- I'd rather jump you."
