Hej. Hader at have det sådan her.

no offense but bill hader stans are thirsting over one of the most average men i've ever seen. i really don't know much about him as a person, but he just looks like a guy. if like, beyonce walked down the street, even if you didnt know who she is, you would pay attention, right? bill hader, as well as griffin mcelroy, are not that. if i didnt know who they were, i would never guess that they were famous. these people are like "bill hader is so hot" and im just like??? hes not unattractive, he's just a middle aged white man

Tagged by @calliopinot on my main but I’m answering over here because I feel like it!!!!!! 1) Height: 5″2 but it says 5″3 on my license heheheheheheh. 2) Last thing I googled: "best hudson county waterfront brunch spots” I’m helping plan my friend’s bachelorette.  3) Favorite musicians: I go through different phases but some of my Standards are Beyonce, Mitski, Regina Spektor, Lorde, Frank Ocean, Bruce Springsteen and of course Carly Rae Jepsen who I’m seeing in two weeks aaaahhhhhh!!!!! 4) Song stuck in my head: The entire soundtrack from the “Co-Op the Musical” episode of Documentary Now!, but in particular “I Gotta Go.” 5) Followers: 735 (175 on my main eheheh) 6) Following: 689 7) Do you get asks: Sometimes! Usually when I solicit them, I don’t get too many random asks and I don’t really do requests anymore. (Mostly cause I’m embarrassed of the unaddressed requests I’ve accumulated over the last few years I’m SORRY.) But I love to chat! Feel free to send me a message or DM!   8) Amount of sleep: Like, 4-6 hours a night? Maybe? I wake up every couple of hours. My sleep schedule is a mess and driving 24 hours in the last three days won’t help! 9) Lucky number: 3 and 22. 10) What are you wearing: My volleyball uniform cause it’s Adult Recreational Volleyball League night, baybee!!! This season we’re purple! 11) Dream Job: My current job is pretty wonderful, and I fully intend on staying here as long as I can. But even before finding it I didn’t really have a “dream job.” I’ve always wanted to be a writer, and I’ve been fortunate enough to be paid to write for most of my career. Mostly I’d like to be independently wealthy, live in a lighthouse down the shore, write fiction, and throw conch shells at children to cultivate rumors I’m a sea witch.  12) Instruments: I played clarinet in 4th grade and fucking hated it. I took guitar lessons freshman year of high school but quit cause it was interfering with track. I bought a bass freshman year of college and never touched it. 13) Languages: English, Cool Teen™ 14) Favorite Song: Christmas Tips from Co-Op the Musical (Actual Answer: 4th of July Asbury Park (Sandy) by Bruce Springsteen is my forever Summer Song. I want to play it at my wedding but I’m pretty sure if I do I’ll just lie down in the middle of the dance floor and cry.) 15) Random Fact: I’ve seen Bill Hader twice, but never officially met him. The first time was on a flight from Seattle to Newark in 2008. VERY exciting because my brothers and I had seen Tropic Thunder days before and spotted him immediately. The second time I was working at a bookstore in New York and was so starstruck I ran into the stacks and watched him through the books until he left. Bill if you’re reading this......I love you.......and I’m sorry I’m so weird....... 16) Aesthetic: I’m kind of in a style transition right now but I aspire to: Beach Witch. Friendly Jock. Cool Older Sister in a 90s Clothing Catalogue. Well-Read Gremlin. Florals.......for Spring?......Groundbreaking.......  @incendavery @mordland @atmilliways @aboutthatmelancholystorm @hollywood-rose @picklespunchedme @walkwithursus if you want!!!!

it’s been a few days since we uploaded episode seventeen of our podcast (soundcloud) (itunes) but in case you want to find more about what we talked about, LOOK BELOW to find our ep 17 reading list with links to everything you might need- HAPPY READING Y’ALL.
we started the pod with the first of not one but TWO metro station references. remember them? their 2007 self titled album opened with ‘seventeen forever’ but OF COURSE everyone remembers the banger that was ‘shake it’. peep the video here: you’re welcome!
we also namechecked the ICONIC 2009 teen drama ‘17 again’ starring zac efron. like freaky friday if chandler bing was thrown into the mix. trailer here.
we lamented the demise of channing tatum and jenna dewan’s relationship (did we talk it up in our last ep?!). for happier times, let’s remember their lip sync battle, especially jenna’s ‘pony’ for channing’s reaction alone.
we also talked coachella, with a focus obviously on the queen herself, beyonce knowles. if you look hard enough, you can find footage of her performance, but to tide you over: this vulture article is useful.
as for justin bieber’s 2018 coachella experience: here he is dancing away and then singing with a christian worship group.
here’s the teen vogue article about sexual harassment at the festival. as women who regularly attend music events, we’re not surprised and that’s even worse.
the origins of this image to us, we’d be grateful.
in our usual harry styles round up: he and his band dressed up for scotland and boy, were we here for it. it prompted our pal and third pod host, von, to write a list of her favourite harry looks from this spring tour. peep it here.
on the film front, we discussed love simon, isle of dogs, brigsby bear, game night, a quiet place, ingrid goes west, ghost stories and the vivienne westwood documentary.
on love simon: actor keiynan lonsdale discussed how filming the project prompted he himself to come out which more than anything proves the importance of continuing to make queer movies (especially for teens!)
on the TV side of things: apryl mentioned viceland’s ‘it’s supper time’ and ‘dead set on life’, both featuring canadian chef matty matheson. she also briefly touched on her love of ‘ru paul’s drag race’, and drag race themed podcast ‘alright mary’, as well as HBO’s ‘barry’ starring bill hader.
steph had taken the plunge and started netflix’s cult docu-series, ‘wild wild country’ about the rajneeshpuram community based in oregon for several years.
as for music: we mentioned we’d both been burning through a lot of bleachers (especially ‘alfie’s song’ from the love simon OST), cardi b, her debut ‘invasion of privacy’, hose SNL performances AND her appearance on jimmy fallon where john mulaney gave her a gift.
we talked ‘hamilton’, how much steph hates will ferrel, before finally making it to our main topic: BAD CELEBRITY TATTOOS! there were far too many to mention, but you can see a collage of those we mentioned over on our twitter page here.
to finish: our obsessions of the week were jack antonoff of bleachers fame and ‘queer eye’s’ antoni porowski. SEE ABOVE FOR PICTORIAL EVIDENCE OF THEIR BEAUTY!

"When They See Us" - which became the most watched series in Netflix history - was nominated for Outstanding Limited Series. Woot! Also, the four-part series earned the most EMMY nominations for Netflix.
Thank you @Netflix for believing in this story and letting me tell it the exact way I wanted. Appreciate the faith and the fearlessness. xo https://t.co/SaWeJTKAmb

The series was def a hard watch, but SO necessary and the Television Academy took notice. The limited series tells the story of five innocent teens - dubbed the Central Park Five - and their eventual exoneration for violent crimes they didn’t commit.
The illustrious Ava DuVernay picked up a directing and co-writing nominations with Michael Starrbury.
After the nominations were announced, the "When They See Us" director took to Twitter to personally thank the real-life series subjects - Korey Wise, Antron McCray, Kevin Richardson, Yusef Salaam and Raymond Santana - dubbed the Exonerated Five.
It all started here. Thank you to the real men for inviting me to tell their story. Thank you @TelevisionAcad for honoring the work. Saluting every single crew and cast member. And saluting Raymond, Korey, Antron, Yusef and Kevin. Love you, brothers. #WhenTheySeeUs https://t.co/dkh1EYy1fA

DuVernay spoke with Korey Wise after the EMMY nominations were announced and shared what he told her:
Just off the phone with Korey Wise. I told him to get his tux ready. He said: “You did that, Queen. You told the story. You did what you came to do. They had to see it. They listened.” #WhenTheySeeUs pic.twitter.com/vzmKSeYEAa

Jharrel Jerome was the breakout star of the series after he totally slayed his portrayal of Korey Wise. Everyone did an amazing job, but Jharrel's acting was incredible and literally had folks breaking down to tears. He has been nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie. We're keeping our fingers crossed EXTRA tight that he actually wins it. He deserves it. He'll be up against "True Detective" star Mahershala Ali.

Beyonce's Netflix documentary "Homecoming," scooped up six nominations, including Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded), Outstanding Music Direction, Outstanding Directing, Outstanding Writing, Outstanding Production Design, and Outstanding Costumes For Variety.
"Homecoming" could bring her one step closer to EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony) status. As of now, she only has the G - for Grammys. By the end of awards season, she could earn an EMMY for "Homecoming" and an Oscar for her contributions to The Lion King soundtrack.
