Understanding Aquamarine colour (and heat-treatment) In nature, most aquamarines have a more or less distinct greenish tint that is caused by the presence of iron (Fe3+) in a certain position on its crystal structure, causing absorption of light that results in a perceived yellow colour. If we add this yellow to the blue, we get green (as we did back in school with coloured pencils). If the iron changes, or reduces, its valance state from 3+ to 2+, the yellow component disappears, and then we see a purer blue. In practical terms, to remove this yellow component from greenish aquamarines, virtually all material is heated in reducing conditions (e.g. in charcoal) between 250-500 °C, sometimes slightly more, for a few minutes or hours. This reduces the iron from Fe3+ to Fe2+ and the stones turn into a stable more commercially desired blue. Gemmologically speaking, heat treatment in aquamarines is, however, currently non-determined in a laboratory for it leaves no known indication to detect it, so always assume that aquamarines may have been heated by this process. If the green component is significant, then we might just presume that there is a fair chance that it might not have been heated, but, again, one can only speculate. Design Era : Victorian. Era Information : The Victorian Era spanned Queen Victoria's rule of England from 1837 until 1901. During this time, a middle class began to emerge, sparking a demand for jewelry in the mass market, jewelry trends often reflected the tone of current events. The era is usually divided into several subsections: the Romantic Period from 1837 to 1861, the Grand Period from 1861 to 1880, and the Aesthetic Period from 1880 to 1901. During the Romantic Period jewelry also featured nature-inspired designs, similar to jewelry of the Georgian era. Frequently, these designs were delicately and intricately etched into gold. Lockets and brooches were popular in daytime jewelry during the early Victorian era, whereas colored gemstones and diamonds were worn during the evening. During the Grand Period jewelry , because the Grand or Mid-Victorian era corresponded with the death of Queen Victoria's husband, many jewelry pieces have solemn, somber designs. Known as mourning jewelry, the pieces feature heavy, dark stones. Jet, onyx, amethyst, and garnet are frequently found in jewelry from this period. Compared to previous periods, Mid-Victorian-era jewelry features highly creative, colorful designs using shells, mosaics and gemstones. During the Aesthetic period, jewelers used diamonds and feminine, bright gemstones such as sapphire, peridot, and spinel. Star and crescent designs as well as elaborate hat pins were also popular. Some scholars believe the aesthetic era began sooner, in 1875, and ended as early as 1890.. Materials : Diamond, Morganite. Material Information : Morganite Morganite is a variety of beryl, a mineral that includes emerald and aquamarine. It is named after the American financier and gem collector J.P. Morgan, who was a patron of the gemstone. Morganite is known for its pale pink to peach color, which is caused by the presence of manganese in the crystal structure. It is often heat treated to enhance its color, as natural pink morganite is relatively rare. In addition to its use in jewelry, morganite is also valued for its healing properties and is believed to promote feelings of peace and calm. It is found in a variety of locations around the world, including Brazil, Madagascar, and the United States. Brilliant-cut diamond The round brilliant cut is a type of diamond cut that was developed in the early 1900s and is now the most popular and widely used diamond cut. It is characterized by a circular girdle and 58 facets, which are small, flat surfaces that are cut into the diamond to create a specific shape and enhance its sparkle and brilliance. Unlike the old European cut, the round brilliant cut does not have a culet (the bottom edge of the diamond). The round brilliant cut was designed to maximize the fire and brilliance of a diamond, and it has become the standard cut for diamonds. It is known for its bright, sparkling appearance and is often used in engagement rings and other high-end jewelry. The round brilliant cut became prevalent during the Art Deco and Retro periods and is still widely used today. Round brilliant cut diamonds are typically more expensive than diamonds with other cuts because they require more labor and material to produce. However, they are considered the highest quality and most desirable type of diamond cut, and they are a popular choice for those who want the highest level of sparkle and brilliance in their jewelry. 14k 14k gold is a popular choice for use in jewelry because it is durable, yet still relatively affordable compared to higher karat golds like 18k or 24k. It is made up of 58.5% pure gold and is mixed with other metals to make it harder and more durable. 14k gold is available in a range of colors, including yellow, white, and rose, and is commonly used in a variety of jewelry pieces such as rings, earrings, necklaces, and bracelets. One of the advantages of 14k gold is that it is more resistant to wear and tear than pure gold, which makes it suitable for everyday wear. However, it is still softer than other alloys such as stainless steel or platinum, so it may require more maintenance to keep it looking its best. Overall, 14k gold is a popular choice for those who want the look and feel of gold, but at a more affordable price point.. Size : 17.53 NL / 55.1 FR / 7¼ US / O UK. Dimensions : H 0.6 x L 1.2 x W 1.3 cm. Gender : female. Weight (in grams) : 3.8. Condition : New. Offers : no. https://www.binenbaum.com/product/diamond-morganite-14k-cluster-ring-14987-8450/

Design Era : Contemporary. Era Information : Contemporary jewellery is a type of jewellery that reflects current trends and styles, and is often made from a variety of materials beyond the traditional precious metals and stones. This allows contemporary jewellery to have a more modern and unique appearance compared to classic jewellery. To create contemporary jewellery, it is necessary to have both specialized training and a deep understanding of the subject. The contemporary style combines historical techniques and artistic expression with innovative ideas and materials, giving it a distinct personality that falls between fashionable mass-produced jewellery and traditional artisanal works of art.. Materials : Diamond, Emerald. Material Information : Emerald Emeralds are a variety of the mineral beryl, and their green color is due to the presence of chromium and sometimes vanadium impurities in the crystal structure. The best emeralds are highly transparent and have a rich, velvety green color. The color of an emerald can range from pale green to deep, rich green, and is often described as being similar to the color of grass or leaves. Emeralds have long been prized for their beauty and have been used in jewelry and other decorative objects for centuries. They are often cut into a variety of shapes, including oval, cushion, and pear, and are sometimes set in gold or platinum to enhance their beauty. Emeralds are also often treated to improve their color and clarity, and these treatments should be disclosed to the buyer. In terms of hardness, emeralds rank between 7.5 and 8 on the Mohs scale, making them relatively soft compared to other precious gemstones such as diamonds, which rank a 10 on the Mohs scale. This means that emeralds can be more prone to scratching and chipping, and should be handled with care. In addition to being used in jewelry, emeralds are also used in some traditional medical systems for their supposed healing properties. They are believed to have the ability to calm the mind and emotions, and to promote balance and harmony. Overall, emeralds are a highly prized and sought-after gemstone due to their stunning green color and the symbolism and symbolism associated with them. A new kind of Clawdy plus an alternate version of Bix.
Clawdia Clayr Howyrd, or "Dia", is an alternate of Claudia that was born 15 years later than the one you're familiar with. Her body grows faster than her mind, so she appears 10, but is actually 7, and her personality and way of thinking reflects her way of thinking. Dia also has a sort of malevolent spirit living in her mind that responds to "Fierce Dia", but her true identity is an alternate version of a certain somebody who responds to "The Fiercest Foe". Her brooch, a Sky Blue Topaz, is lighter than a Swiss Blue Topaz. Available in the Beryl Universe(Howardverse), Diamond Universe, and Spinel Universe with the same concept.
Bixbite, or Bix, is an ancient demon known as the "Gemstone Reaper". His moniker is due to the eponymous gemstone he wears attached to his suit as a brooch, a red Beryl gemstone, or "Bixbite". He wields a vicious scythe that cuts through virtually anything, unable to be dulled or destroyed. Available in the Diamond Universe and Spinel Universe with the same concept.
