i finally did it! i finally fixed the issue i had with strangertown. now me and my favourite town are unstoppable! for now... have the beaker home, in all of its ky'ified glory!

i didn't include the bedrooms & other offices, since those are only partially furnished until the twins come along inevitably. everything in this town is a constant wip.

👻 Erin spends a lot of time working on her psychic powers. Of course, she isn't really psychic, but don't tell her that.

I used to think Circe and Loki Beaker were kind of perfect for each other, in a weird sense. Living in their weird little torture castle with no kids because both of them hate the idea (and they would be shit parents too lol). However in my head Circe is the kind of restless, driven genius who just gets bored with anything the world has to offer to normal people and goes to extreme lengths to keep her mind interested. Loki is convenient in that regard bc he is rich & insane, just as sneery but not as deliberately sadistic as Circe is, and enough of a mean asshole that he doesn't care too much about her more extreme "experiments". He is interested in results and scientific progress no matter the cost, and he detests Nervous personally. They do get along really well and I think there is love there in a way, but Loki's main motive for investments in scientific breakthroughs is his egocentricity - he wants to immortalize his genes and the closer he gets to actually creating his clones the narrower his tunnel vision gets. I think Circe would eventually just have enough of the pettiness at the root of it all, and she can only maintain interest in something or someone as long as she respects it or them.

So as they age, long after Nervous has gotten away from them, I feel like their marriage would become one of convenience. Circe likes the facilities Loki's money can provide. Loki is simply too self-absorbed to care, maybe he doesn't even notice Circe straying. Her mind is fixating on new goals and interests, and while she is annoyed with Loki at first for caring so little (she might even have a fling with Vidcund purely to spite him) she might eventually just move on, do her thing, sleep in the spare bedroom. She might lead Vidcund on for the sole purpose of getting her hands on his alien baby for research (which might lead to him selling Tycho away later?), she might also try to have a grim reaper baby with Nervous' sperm that I'm sure she has stored in a freezer. I see her having an affair with Chloe Curious too lol.

So eventually my long-term HC for the Beakers is they are amicable married roommates living parallel lives, Circe casually involved with Chloe, and in eventual threesomes with Abhijeet & Meredith, Loki only ever in love with himself. There might be as many as three children running around in the castle - and all of their available parents are absolute shit at their jobs.

the beaker family lives on the outskirts of strangetown for a reason...so they can get up to all their shenanigans in private! circe beaker walks around all day with her underwear on. she can be heard complaining about her husband loki, who on a nightly basis drains nervous subject to the brink of death in his dungeon. their two kids, atom and ceres, just kind of do as the please and are raised by their robot family member, cyclotron! and one last thing..circe is pregnant, as she wished! maybe it'll be a vampire baby!
