Toddler!Casey, puts the bowl over his face: "I don't know."
Future!Leo: "Is it because that Mikey told you how tasty they are?"
Toddler!Casey: "yeah."
Future!Leo: "Is it also because you haven't had your snack yet and hearing that made you hungry?"
Toddler!Casey: "Uh-huh."
Future!Leo: "Hm-hmm. Well, I don’t have any pancakes, but I did see some canned peaches in the new stock of rations we just got in. Would that be better?"

I’m so excited to see Jaehaera and Aegon reunite
Tagging @gwenllian-in-the-abbey to join me doting on Jae.
I know!!!! The goth bby will be back in the next chapter. Aegon is missing her HARD. She's his only hatchling left and even though he wasn't the most present father, he was still attached enough to his children to force himself to survive the worst odds. Jae needs her papa. Who'd protect her if Aegon died? In canon, Aegon's death doomed his bby too.

Is it just me or II gives off the little giant vibe?
Like he has a small stature that of a very patite statue, but as he sits in his throne, where he conquers the stage awe with his beat; his majestic pride that turns him into the most ruthless king that drives its people with his fierce kicks of drums and cymbals, injecting through the veins of every audience to a frenzy mosh pits and headbangs.
There's something about II that is being underlooked, with little appreciation. People would place their attention to Vessel, yes, because he has his own attraction that leaves you breathless with his passionate voice, like a siren on the ocean, concealing your innevitable death and worship to his siren. But II has his own attraction that I think is just immaculate and crazy just like how I first watched his Alkaline offering. Our little eepy II deserves alot of love❤️

Can I just say that I love the idea the fandom has come up with of Casey Jr. being found as a "garbage baby" by Cassandra? I mean it's funny enough to say that Cass found little babey Casey in a dumpster one day and decided, "welp guess I'm a mom now".
But when you really put it into perspective, it's kinda heartwarming.
The Hamato family itself is made up of all kinds of members, whether blood related, adopted, or honorary members. With Cass herself basically being a honorary member of the family by the end of the finale, I can totally see her continuing that when or if she decided to have a family into the next generation.
That and during the time of Casey's birth, the apocalypse was still happening, pretty much at the midway point from where the movie opens up at. Finding him at a chance like that was probably a way for not only Cass find a new reason to fight against the kraang, but also for the others to continue fighting as well.
Poor Splinter was probably already long gone, Raph may or may not have passed on already at this point in the timeline, the world is in complete and utter chaos with more and more of humanity withering away each passing day.
But each time any of them took a look at this little child, who was left alone in a environment where no one should be left to fend themselves, the times that he would smile that wide grin that was still missing the front teeth, the moments he would laugh heartedly everyone in the room would laugh along with him, that little, adorable voice that would say the oddest yet amusing things a child his age wouldn't usually bring up.
It reminded them of who they were fighting for, for the hope the new generation can continue on in this harsh world they currently live in and not have to fight against the threat of the Kraang just like they were
He became both figuratively and literally became the hope for a new future and I love it so much.
