Crushed week 1 of legs yesterday! And by that my legs were sore and ducked out at round 3 because my legs bucked up (still recovering from skiing this pas weekend) Gave my body the break it needs. Headed to hot yoga tonight to stretch it all out for LISS! Tomorrow is Arms and Friday will be Full Body, plus a quick LISS yoga session Friday AM. Sunday I’m skiing again for final round of LISS! Wish me luck :)

day 254 • wed11sep19 Here’s another before/after. I really really enjoy using the @sweat app. I love how @kayla_itsines ‘ workouts are different every week (even if it’s just the order or a tiny detail, like adding weights) and I love that I can complement with the cardio workout of my choice. This is my second week at work, while doing #bbgworkout ... It’s hard. Most of the times I try to workout as soon as I wake up in the morning... at 5 am that is, and sometimes it just doesn’t work out, the first week I was completely exhausted, and there were days is just barely made it out of bed... then there are days when the baby decides she was to eat at 5 am, and she takes her sweet time too. I also figured that the cardio I was doing was way too intense. Either because I just got back to work or because I’m still breastfeeding or both, I don’t know, but I was absolutely knackered. So I had to adapt. I lowered the cardio intensity: instead of going with Shawn T Insanity every time, I only do it if I really feel energetic enough; otherwise I’ll mix it up with cardio workouts from blogilates. And I also had to adapt when I do my workouts. Sometimes I can do it in the morning, sometimes I have to do it in the afternoon... it kind of throws me off a bit. But like @bluebirdkisses says, better a bad workout than none. Also I’m not in a hurry. I’m excited to see how I’ll look like in a year time. :) and it feels great! I know it’s not quite fall yet, but it’s officially September and I can’t wait 3 more weeks.

The crockpot chili hit the spot and made me forget that it’s still 95° outside. I was craving something pumpkin so decided to make a healthier pumpkin muffin for dessert (and breakfast tomorrow!) .
They aren’t super sweet so you can always add more agave nectar or maple syrup.
Zucchini Pumpkin Muffins
1 cup grated zucchini – then squeeze excess water out with towel.
1 cup pumpkin puree
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup agave nectar
1/4 cup plain greek yogurt
1 cup flour
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
2 eggs
Preheat oven to 375°. Mix wet ingredients and dry ingredients separately. Mix all ingredients together and pour into greased muffin tin. Bake for 20-25 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.

BBG has changed me both physically and mentally.
