needed to fix the fact I haven't drawn banana eel in a while- but something happened.
The Bastard, he gets reeeaaal invested in disguises. Sometimes, he crossdresses and usually he calls her "Lady Plantain"- using the highest pitched feathery voice possible. He refuses to shave, so he just covers his face with a fan.
Yet again another reason for me to use silly tropes... like when they adjust the dress--

(Slams list on metaphorical table) Okay, here’s what I’ve got so far!
Popcorn/Banana: While it would be cool to have Banana Chip be an entertainer like Banana, I feel like it would be cooler if they were some sort of behind-the-scenes kind of person, like a set designer or scriptwriter.
Pomegranate/Affogato: These two definitely groomed their child to be a prophet/“golden child” for the Cookies of Darkness. Pomegranate Sundae themself is probably rather somber and depressed, wanting something more for themselves.
Latte/Almond: Maybe a detective who uses milk magic to discover clues and solve crimes. I feel like she’d be more chill than Almond.
Kumiho/Werewolf: Either Salted Marshmallow or Kitsune. Salted Marshmallow combines the saltiness of Werewolf and the marshmallow flavor of Kumiho, while Kitsune is a fox demon/werewolf thing that could fit with their themes. Also the monster form is gonna ROCK!
Coffee Candy/Cherry Ball: All I’m thinking here is parkour because a) its a sport b) jumping around would probably come in handy if they were an agent at the time agency Coffee Candy works at, and c) parkour’s just cool
Shining Glitter/Herb: Maybe Glitter Rose? Those look really pretty and colorful. As for personality, I see her as energetic and cheerful, and maybe she could be a backup singer?
Electric Eel/Box Jellyfish: For names, I’m thinking either Golden Jellyfish or Egg Yolk Jellyfish. I was going to recommend the Man o’ war, but it’d be weird to mention people in the cookie world…
White Lily/Pomegranate: How about Amaranthus? It’s pretty cool-looking, and the colors would fit. Don’t have many ideas for personality yet, but I feel like that poor kids going to be pretty conflicted…
Cream Unicorn/Stardust: How about Unicorn Ice Cream? The pictures I’ve seen look pretty cute, and it would fit the color scheme. They could be a space traveler like Stardust! Or maybe some sort of cosmic hero?
Shadow Milk/Lychee: How about Damson Plum? They’re dark blue like Shadow Milk and a round fruit like Lychee. Or maybe Blue Mango, Filius Blue Pepper, or Honeyberry!
Hero/Sandwich: I’ve actually got a good one for this: Submarine Sandwich. This is because another word for a submarine sandwich is a hero sandwich…yes, this name is a pun, no I’m not ashamed.
Longan/Timekeepr: Maybe Longan Cake or Longan Bread? That would combine the bread of Croissant/Timekeeper and the flavor of Longan. Also, this kid would probably be super powerful; maybe a time/dimensional traveler?
Dark Cacao: Maybe Dark Butter to relate to cocoa butter? Ooh, or maybe Dark Ganache to relate to chocolate ganache!
Parents for Kumiho and Vagabond: I saw your about the parents, so how about Ginger Fox for the mom and Toasted Marshmallow for the dad? Ginger Fox is a simple name that involves both ginger and foxes, and Toasted Marshmallow is apparently a semi-popular dessert in Korea.
I think I like the idea of a set designer, that sounds more exciting
I’m not entirely sure about the Pomegranate Sundae one, all I can think about is that they just have golden eyes. Maybe I need to stew on them more
Yeah I think I’m going with the doctor idea for Almond Milk, sorry

Toasted Marshmallow might work, or just marshmallow ice cream, it’s just that I want this one to have blue hair. Which I suppose I can do regardless

Favorite time of year: That time when spring is turning where I'm first hit with serotonin again and feel so happy for a day or two because of the sun and leaves that I feel batshit.
Comfort food: shrimp alfredo. The first time I had it in years when my roommate cooked it I cried. Then it was one of the first like, *big meals* I learned to cook well.
Do you collect something: yes, two things. I collect fortunes from fortune cookies, and I collect other people's notes for themselves. Pre-pandemic at my old job, people would leave their lists and stuff in books as bookmarks, I saved them all. One of my favorites is a belated birthday card.
Favorite drink: I'll never turn down a strawberry-banana smoothie. My favorite local place makes their "strawberry blonde" smoothie with some white grape juice, and that shit is PEAK.
Current favorite song: From a sheer numbers standpoint, according to Spotify, Neverending Hum by Lemon Demon. But from an emotional standpoint, the whole Utsu-P album that came out last year, especially Unique Parade. Absolute banger.
Favorite song: Mental Karate by Thumpasaurus. All time favorite; it helped me out of a really bad mental rut in high school.

In a distant land there is a thundercloud-covered mountain where an eternal storm rages. It’s said that once upon a time it was merely a normal mountain, until a storm rolled through. In an act of fate, a bolt of lightning and its resulting thunder brought the mountain itself to life, and the twins Thunder Cookie and Lightning Cookie emerged from the heavens themselves, two halves of one whole. Since then, these two have brought the storm wherever they go.
it's been 800 years, here's more finished cookie art... these two are legendaries (a legendary?) that play like chess choco cookie, running at the same time and trading off. thunder, left, is female, and lightning, right, is male.

Ability: Lightning Cookie creates bolts of electricity that arc forward, destroying obstacles in a chain. After three times, he creates a massive lightning strike and trades with Thunder Cookie. Thunder Cookie creates rolling blasts of thunder that batter obstacles in front. After three times, she creates an unbelievably loud shockwave and trades with Lightning Cookie. They also have a gauge that fills over time to enter Storm Mode, which batters the whole world ahead with wind, rains, light and noise.
Pet: Eclipse Plate - This strange creature seems to be made of a metal found nowhere else in the world. Whether it shows the face of the sun or the face of the moon seems to be entirely up to its whims. People say that if it ever opens its eyes, something bad will happen.

Hamo (Conger eel)
The spikey-toothed hamo (conger eel) is a difficult adversary to deal with. Small bones span the length of its slim body. Chefs make half-cuts into the filleted meat to make it tasty - 24 cuts within each three-centimeter span. Hamo can be boiled, grilled, deeply fried, and even used in shabu-shabu or nabe stew. Cold, boiled ham served with a tart ume (plum) sauce is especially popular in the summer.
Tsukemono (Japanese pickles)
Before the refrigerator, Japan kept its vegetables by pickling them in salt. When Kyoto was chosen as the nation's capital in 794, a slew of items from Japan began to arrive in Kyoto and at the imperial court. Local artisans attempted to refine these products, resulting in a varied range of Kyoto crafts, including tsukemono.
Kyoto's top tsukemono are three types of pickles: shibazuke, senmaizuke, and sugizuke. Shibazuke is a sour and crunchy pickled mixture of sliced cucumber and eggplant with scarlet shiso (perilla or beefsteak plant). Shiso turns the ingredients pink.
Matcha
Kyoto is a beautiful place to explore matcha because it is the birthplace of the tea ceremony. You may get frothy green tea at many tea shops on temple grounds or in popular tourist places, with or without the ceremony. In Japan, matcha is the most acceptable type of green tea. To improve its color, flavor, fragrance, and nutritional value, it is made from tea leaves cultivated under certain circumstances, dried, and ground in a similar environment. Everything here adds to the sensory experience of drinking matcha.
Matcha is also delightful in its various modern guises, like soft-serve ice cream, cake, biscuits, and crackers, which can be found around Kyoto.
Yatsuhashi
Yatsuhashi is the most famous Kyoto souvenir sweet. It's created of rice flour, sugar, and Nikki, a type of Japanese cinnamon. Warming the dough before shaping it into a thin, half-pipe form and baking it results in crisp, slightly challenging cookies that resemble little brown roof tiles. Since 1689, this type of yatsuhashi has been around.
