getting quite annoyed at people questioning why callum keeps giving ben forehead kisses when in an episode last month ago they literally discussed that ben was having intimacy issues- ben thought callum never wanted him s3xually which impacted his already low self esteem but it was callum waiting for ben to heal and take his own time with intimacy, being touched etc

the forehead kisses are a gentle way of showing intimacy and that callum will always be there for ben.

in the most recent episode, we see callum putting his hand on bens leg but doesnt straight away cuddle and move in towards ben, ben then reaches out and signals to callum thats hes okay with him getting close.

ben may always be uncomfortable around men and intimacy, who knows, stop trying to think that ben can just get over it.

And honestly i just find it so fking sweet that callum got no s3x for a year and he NEVER pressured ben or complained, he wanted to wait for his husband to come to him. That is the defintion of a husband. He loves ben. S3x and intimacy is not more important than bens wellbeing. His husband has had a life full of trauma then was assaulted adding more trauma to his life, s3x was not on callums mind.

im probably going to reread this many times and regret not adding something etc but this is what i got to say. ee is portraying ben in a realistic way of someone who was assaulted. and they are portraying callum in a realistic way.

also forehead kisses are fking sweet its better than not seeing them kiss.
