To say I've had a horrible and frustrating week is an understatement. I really feel like crying. I don't even know of crying will be the right way to express my frustrations.

My lectures at the university are intentionally trying to frustrate us. What did we do to them?? Why are they so evil??? I almost cried in school because of how frustrated I was.

I can to ask for a fic about reader being comforted by Taehoon and Seongjoon (separately of course) because this is genuinely one of the things that can make me happy.

Black Anon, I'm so sorry your ask came in but my well was running super dry for Taehoon and Seongjun (still is for the latter as you can see shortly). I know it's been a while. I have been thinking about this ask and you a lot and hopefully you're feeling better? Sometimes a good cry can be cathartic. I have my fingers crossed that the root cause will get better! If not just head down and grind out the rest of the uni years if that is what you're wanting to do. Gotta admit, I disliked academia too.

Seong Taehoon

Senses your mood before you even need to open your mouth.

He's not one to try and say anything to make you feel better. Often he doesn't know what to say, and he wouldn't say any niceties he doesn't mean anyway.

Instead he pulls you into his arms, pressing the lengths of your body together and holding you tight.

It's like a very comforting blanket. He won't even tease you later if you cry on his shoulder.

Go on, snot on his clothes. It's fine, it'll wash out. It doesn't matter that it's his favourite t-shirt.

When you're feeling a bit better, he tries a little harder to make the rest of your day a bit better. Things you would usually ask him for but instead of puting up a little front as if you're inconveniencing him, he just does it.

In case all else fails, Taehoon is actually excellent at making you laugh with his bitchy attitude. Whispers into your ears about something mundane and stupid until it shocks you into laughter.

Or, you're so appalled with his comment, you can't help but give him a slap on the arm.

With that, your mood and heart lightens a little more.

Baek Seongjun

Whatever is on his calendar for the day, it's cleared. Don't even worry about him spending the day by your side. He wants to do this, ok?

A call from an assemblymen or from Jinho? Answers with the promises of calling them later. You're his main concern right now.

Will listen patiently if you want to vent, offer solutions to your problems if that's what you're after.

Or simply, he will just sit with you. Holding your hand, kissing your tears away.

Rough hands brushing away your tears, pressing his lips to your eyelids.

If you want a little escape, just a breather for a few days to escape reality, he is there by your side.

That NewTube video he had planned, the television appearance? He can reschedule.

Whatever and wherever you want to go, he'll follow and make sure you're ok.

Take as long as you need, you and him have all the time in the world.

Delicate fingers wrapped around the cool glass, the bubbly alcohol was dancing on my tongue as I brought the glass up to sip at it, the man's voice fading in and out of focus. I shifted on my feet, the heels I was wearing digging in. I wanted to groan and slouch, shuffle off somewhere to sit and complain, and maybe annoy my dear husband. My fingers tangled into the silky fabric of the midnight blue dress. It had been a gift he had given me custom-made, a way to apologize for dragging me to this event, for leaving me around with these vultures.

I looked like a queen; he had whispered to me as we dressed, silver ankle strap heels, a midnight blue dress with a thigh-high slit, deep red lipstick painted my mouth, and a silver floral tiara that held my hair perfectly in place.

“You look beautiful in that dress, but you’d look even better naked in my bed.”

That caught my attention, and my eyes slid over to him, disgust filling me, “I’m a married woman, so I would appreciate it if you would not say things like that to me.”

“Come now, darling, your husband, doesn't need to know,” his voice was high and nasally, irritating as a fly.

Blue eyes met mine from across the room. He cocked an eyebrow, I nodded, a more serious look crossed his face, he politely excused himself from the conversation he had been holding with an important-looking businessman. He stood tall and proud as he strode through the room, easily cutting through the crowd. He looked fantastic, with a deep blue suit tailored to fit him perfectly, the colour matching my dress. His hair was pulled up in its usual style, not a hair out of place.

I flinched away, taking a step back as a sweaty, sticky hand wrapped around my right wrist, tugging slightly. This man was vile.

“Come let me take that dress off you. I’ll treat you so much better than whatever small man you’ve married for his wallet, and I can even pay you for your time.”

I felt sick to my stomach at his touch, a warm solid arm wrapped around my waist, his petrichor scent washing over me in soothing waves. Seongjun’s hand brushed the sweaty man's hands off my arm. He gently grabbed my left hand, pressing a soft kiss to my wedding band.

“Hello, Sir, thank you for keeping my beautiful wife company, but you can take your leave now,” he wore a fake smile, barely hiding the bloodlust, squeezing my hip softly, “I ask that you never come near my wife again, you’re clearly making her uncomfortable.”

My fingers tangle with his, fiddling gently with the gold band around his left ring finger, our marriage band. The slimy man slinked away, probably to hide his face in shame.

“Oh, sir, if you ever come near my wife again, I won’t be as nice,” Seongjun called the thinly veiled threat to the man as he fled, warm lips pressed against my cheek.

“Should we go home, my queen?” His voice was a soft purr, “he was right about one thing, you do look much better with that dress on our floor.”

“I’m happy to stay here, but I wish to stay by your side,” I lean against his side.

He hummed softly, warm fingers curling around my chin, angling my head up, pressing his hot lips against my own in a searing kiss. He pulled away with a soft smile on his lips; my red lipstick smeared over his lips and cheek.

“People don’t understand that you are MY wife.”

What's your opinion on Seongjoon x Jinho?

Personally, I don't ship them - I barely think they're friends

The only way I can describe how I see their relationship is as polite enemies - basically, in my mind, their relationship is built on the concept of mutually assured destruction, which is made clear a few times in multiple chapters, and that's not really the best environment for romantic or friendly relationships in my opinion

That being said, they definitely could have been friends had their circumstances been different, but as things stand, I think they're both too hard headed and controlling to have any other sort of relationship

I don't think their relationship can be read in any romantic way, and even saying they have a friendship is pushing it - their weariness of one another is another reason I don't see them together

Some people may have a different view point or opinion, but I just don't see it

I don't really ship Jinho with anyone to be honest, but those are my thoughts

Their dynamic is pretty interesting though :))
