I JUST REALIZED
the ancients were from a different world right(aliens)? and they were powerful, they used advanced technology, they were forced to leave their home by a foreign force. they brought the chaos emeralds with them but landed on Sonic's world because the emeralds were drawn to the master emerald. and on the starfall islands they made cyber space in order to upload their memories and thus, remember their homeland.
but thats what happened to the Babylonians as well??? the "descendants of aliens", they were a technologically advanced culture, using the arks of the cosmos to travel across the universe. their inability to control the stones however, almost created a black hole, so they were forced to stay away from their home, deciding to disconnected their engine unit. they waited for the stones to resurface as they were stuck on earth and in the meantime, they made a wish whenever the saw a shooting star, a wish to return to their home, thus, they were always remembering their homeland.
do you see it too??!

The Anunnaki Conspiracy
The ancient Sumerians, Akkadians, Assyrians, and Babylonians worshipped what they called "the Anunnaki", but who were the Anunnaki really? According to one conspiracy theory, the Anunnaki were an alien race of refugees escaping their own planet to mine for gold and other precious metals on Earth. Did the Anunnaki enslave humans to build the pyramids and other ancient landmarks? You be the judge.

Here we explore the enigmatic tale of Nabonidus, the last ruler of the Neo-Babylonian Empire, whose reign from 556-539 BC ended in mystery and controversy.
Discover the story of Nabonidus, who ascended the throne under shadowy circumstances following the assassination of the boy-king Labashi-Marduk. His reign was marked by his prolonged absence at the Arabian oasis of Tayma, leaving a trail of questions about his motivations and actions.
Why did Nabonidus retreat to Tayma? Was it a spiritual quest, an archaeological interest, or a health retreat due to an alleged illness? This article explores the theories that range from devotion to religious archaeology, to recovery from an ulcer as described in the Dead Sea Scrolls.

Babylonian mathematics used a sexagesimal (base 60) system that was so functional it remains in effect, albeit with some tweaks, in the 21st century. Whenever people tell time or make reference to the degrees of a circle, they rely on the base 60 system.
Babylonian math has roots in the numeric system started by the Sumerians, a culture that began about 4000 BCE in Mesopotamia, or southern Iraq.
The most commonly accepted theory holds that two earlier peoples merged and formed the Sumerians.
Supposedly, one group based their number system on 5 and the other on 12.
When the two groups traded together, they evolved a system based on 60 so both could understand it.
That’s because five multiplied by 12 equals 60. The base 5 system likely originated from ancient peoples using the digits on one hand to count.
The base 12 system likely originated from other groups using their thumb as a pointer and counting by using the three parts on four fingers, as three multiplied by four equals 12.

Have you any fanart of the Babylon Rogues with wings? It’s sad they lost them
i dont remember bumping into art of them with wings, not really.
i like to think they lost their wings in the same way the devine wings lost their "plumes" to the dark, in the same way that babylon garden lost the arks of the cosmos, the very things that allowed the spaceship to fly.
i dont remember if it's actually explained how they lost them but yeah, it would be heartbreaking if their legends had predicted the fall of their own plumes.
