【Similar Beginnings, Different Paths, Intersecting Endings】

That year, they were both eighteen.

Recently, in the new TRPG, Iroh’s background was finally completed. Only then did they realize how similar he and Zoe were, yet at the same time, how utterly different.

They both had a similar start, defying others‘ opposition to join the military. However, Iroh faced disdain because of a war that occurred before he was born. In contrast, Zoe was loved, cared for, and guided.

Iroh could teach others but didn’t know how to assist them when they encountered obstacles because he was a prodigy from the beginning.

On the other hand, Zoe was adept at teaching; she understood every obstacle her students would face because she had experienced and been taught through them.

Iroh had a complete family, but they weren‘t good at expressing love.

Zoe, an orphan, understood love better than anyone else, thanks to what others had taught her.

Iroh and Zoe, they are like white and red.

Iroh is as serious, cautious, and dignified as white.

Zoe is as passionate, unrestrained, and dangerous as red.

When they come together, white gains color, and red becomes gentle.

In Japan, red and white represent life and death, and they are used in weddings because only when both colors come together, it symbolizes the entirety of a person‘s life.
